Abstract

Abstract. PT Nusa Alam Lestari in July 2018 on the mining front of the Seam C1 hole carried out mining activities along the 97 meter opening hole in the main hole and 4 branch holes that had been realized. The amount of groundwater discharge entering the mining area at the Seam C1 hole is 5.112 m3 / minute. The number and specifications of the ideal pump for pumping water from the Seam C1 pit mine front are 2 units of Airlux pump with a discharge capacity of 6 m3 / hour in operation, with an Airlux pump with a discharge capacity of 6 m3 / hour with a maximum head of 12 meter; the actual total head is 25.08 m on front of Seam C1. The dimensions and shape of the sump design are ideal for underground coal mine drainage systems at the Seam C1 mining site planned to be rectangular with dimensions of 2 m in length, 1 m in width, 2 m in depth.  Keywords: Underground Mine, Mine Dewatering, Groundwater Discharge, Pump, Sump

Abstract

Abstract. PT Bukit Asam Tbk, is one of the largest coal mining companies in Indonesia. In distributing coal to consumers, PT Bukit Asam Tbk has supporting facilities namely Tarahan Port in Lampung and Kertapati Pier in Palembang. Coal production is increasing every year and in 2023 PT Bukit Asam Tbk plans 45 million tons of coal shipments to Tarahan Port and will require a large and maximum stockpile of capacity to meet the needs of coal shipping from Tanjung Enim. The actualization of the evaluation of the stockpile 2 capacity was 189,213.84 tons of the planned 250,000 tons of coal capacity. If there is a rain of coal spilling into the open channel (drainage) until it covers around the stockpile 2 which has a length of 625 m. This causes the formation of acid water in the bottom of the stockpile and causes flooding around it. So recommendations were made to minimize the occurrence of landslides and reduce the use of excavators for cleaning drainage.Keywords: Stockpile, Drainage,Capacity, Excavator, Coal

Abstract

Abstract. Madhani Talatah Nusantara Company Site 037C Gendang Timburu is a contractor in the mining concession PKP2B Kalimantan Energi Lestari Company were located in Gendang Timburu village, Durian River District, Kotabaru, South Kalimantan Province. The implementation of mining activities requires for good planning, with the aim of providing a large profit for the company. Mining equipments productivity are the main thing that plays a role in supporting the company's production. Mining activities are carried out by blasting and ripping processes to achieve production targets. Among the excavation methods have differences in productivity and economy. So based on the background  above, the  research is conducted with the aim of seeing the technical costs differences in the of using both of  the method. From the results of the study, it was found that in the ripping activitis using of D9R bulldozer type heavy equipment, the cost of using Liebher R-9250 hydraulic excavator was obtained with a large operating cost in the rock grading activity of Rp. 7.299,90/ bcm with total profits after revenue reduction namely Rp. 22.437,10/bcm. Whereas by using the blasting method with the type MD6290 and using a loading device, namely the hydraulic excavator R-9250, the operational costs of Rp 7.508,68/bcm with a profit of Rp. 21.113,32/bcm..    Keywords:  Produktifitas, Ripping, Blasting, Economi, Coal.

Abstract. PT. Elit Kharisma utama is one of the private mining companies that are conducting laterite nickel mining in Desa Morombo, Kecamatan Lasolo, Kabupaten Konawe Utara, Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara. The mining method used is an open pit. Currently PT. Elit Kharisma Utama has been mining the Yudhistira Pit and plans to open a new pit (Pit X) which is next to the Yudhistira Pit. Based on the estimated block model using inverse distance method obtained at Pit X amount of reserves is 201,992.2 bcm with an average Ni content is 1.69% according to consumer demand at a level of 1.5% Ni and stripping ratio of 1:3 can be mined in a single quarter in beginning in 2020 with a production target of 50,000 bcm per month. Based on the research it can be concluded that the total reserves at Pit X are feasible to be mined and meet the planned production targets.Keywords:  Reserve, Grade, Production, Overburden, Ore.

Abstract: Based on the analysis of rainfall data for 2008-2017, the planned rainfall was 135.22 mm/ day with rain intensity in the catchment area of 21.709 mm / hour. The return period is 5 years and the hydrogeological risk is 67.23%. In the research location, PT Minemex Indonesia Pit Block B has a catchment area with an area of 48 ha, the total discharge of incoming water is 9.510 m3 / hour, with a maximum actual sump capacity of 75,867 m3 and there are three units of Coates CD200 pumps in sump with pumping discharge of 810 m3 / hour, there are two open channels and 11 main setting pond with different capacities for each compartment.After evaluating the Pit Block B mine drainage system in 2018, the Sump Capacity will be enlarged to 182,610 m3 and requires an additional 3 Coates MFC-385 pump units to obtain a total pumping discharge of 2,310 m3 / hour. PT Minemex Indonesia's Pit Block B mine drainage system is planned to have open channels that are different from the actual and settling ponds that are the same as in 2018. The effect of the mine drainage system on production is the cause of not achieving OB and Coal production. Abstract. PT. Freeport Indonesia uses two mining systems, namely open pit and underground mining. Underground mining generally uses the block caving method. One of the facilities built on the GBC underground mine is Crusher. The crushers used in the GBC underground mine area are Gyratory type crushers. This crusher is located at location 601 at the level of 2760-2700 masl. Based on the results of observations in the field, it was found that the frequent occurrence of differences in tunnel size between the design and actual field 601 complex crusher is a fix facility opened by blasting. In addition, over break causes a change in the depth of the zone that must be supported, so that an equation is needed which can be used to determine the depth of the zone that must be supported. In the correlation analysis, the highest overbreak was 24.84%. The resulting effect is that the overbreak increases, the yield zone also increases in depth, from the initial design 2,073 meters to 3,127 meters after overbreak. The equation obtained from the overbreak correlation and yield zone is Y = 9,6727X2 – 6,751X + 21,129. Where Y is the maximum overbreak percent value that can be secured by a buffer. Abstract. PT. Kideco Jaya Agung is a coal mine company in Paser Regency, East Kalimantan Province, with an Open Pit Mining method. Spreading cover rock is done by blasting. Blasting activities affect the slope of stability. In May 2018 there was a landslide in the A section lowwall area while cross section B in July 2018 occurred overcut to the design in 2018. In order to be able to provide the results of the analysis, several processes carried out were the calculation of blasting vibrations using the Matsuo reference formula. Then the back analysis using the probabilistic method of Monte Carlo. As well as analysis of safety factors and recommendations for slope geometry using janbu simplified method. The results of the analysis are (1) The relationship of the distance of blasting to Amaks produced is Amaks = -6 x 10-5 (distance) + 0.0416. (2) The geotechnical parameter of the back analysis is mudstone: c = 77,5 kN /m2 and Ф = 17,36; coal: c = 72,54 kN /m2 and Ф = 17,112. (3) Design of FK values in 2018 cross section A lowwall is 1,169 and crosswall B design 2018 FK design value is 1,365. (4) Recommendation of lowwall cross section A geometry with overall slope of 14o and make the width of the bench at an elevation of 65 mdpl above 30 meters.Keywords :          Blasting, Back analysis, Monte carlo, Janbu simplified, Recommendations geometry of lowwall.

Abstract. The water that goes to the location of  the mining is largely derived from rainwater, which, at the time a high rainfall season cause the puddle on the mining front. Besides that the plan of the progress of the mine will cause in shifting mining front closer to the direction of sump. Because of that would require the re-planning for mine sump dimensions to keep mining activity running optimally. Beside that also required the calculation of pump, pipes, open channel dimension that is able to flow water to the KPL and KPL dimension itself. The rainfall plan processed using Gumbell Method. While the determination of the intensity of the rain with Monnonobe method that will be used to obtain discharge water runoff. So that it can be specified sump dimensions pump needs, open channels dimensions and KPL dimension. Catchment area in Yarder pit PT. Kalimantan Prima Persada Jobsite BDMA, as large as 65,57 hectares. Maximum capacity sump to collect water runoff and groundwater amounted to 116.254,23  m3. Pumping systems were performed using HDPE pipes and pumps used is a centrifugal pump Multiflow MF-420 EXHV, which has a maximum head 220 meter and pump discharge to a maximum of 430 liters / sec as a single unit. Results of pumping flowed into an open channel for later deposited on the mud settling ponds (KPL) with a maximum volume of 10.784 m3.Keywords: Sump, Pump, Open Channel, KPL, Catchment Area

PT Bukit Asam Tbk Ombilin Mining Unit (UPO-PTBA) is the oldest underground coal mine in Indonesia, due to the activity of the penambangannya has been performed since the colonial Netherlands.Ventilation system in underground mine Sawahluwung using suction system (exhaust) air out the quantity of  35.10 m3/s, while the quantity of incoming air of 34.50 m3/s through the three holes of entry i.e. Adit Sawahluwung            + 214 of 23.00 m3/s, Adit Sawahluwung + 223 of  6.50 m3/s and head of Sapan II of 5.00 m3/s. Abstract. PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk is a state-owned company engaged in the sector of a single market (captive market) which has 2 mining units, including the Ombilin Mining Unit (UPO) located in Ombilin, Sawahlunto, West Sumatra. Based on data from exploration of coal deposits carried out by PTBA UPO, one of the areas considered feasible to open is the Langkok Pit 1 UPO Site. Therefore, it is necessary to open a new mine so that the production target is reached. However, there is currently no planning for the needs of heavy equipment at the Langkok Pit 1 site. The purpose of this study is to determine the type and number of main tools and the costs needed. The research method used is the Applied Research method. In data analysis the calculation of the cycle time of mechanical devices is used to get the work productivity of the tool and the target of achieving hourly production of these mechanical devices and also as data in achieving the target mining plan per year. Mining activities used a combination of mining equipment, namely 1 Hitachi ZX330 excavator unit and 8 CWA 260MX UD dump truck units. The total rent that will be incurred per month in the needs of the equipment in August 2017 is Rp. 612.762.500,00 / month, in September is Rp. 637.273.000,00 / month, while in October it was Rp.588.252.000,00 / month, in November it was Rp. 637.273.000,00 / month, and December is Rp. 588.252.000,00 / month.
