Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors of consumer behavior in purchasing Empal Catering Bibik. The factors examined in this study are cultural factors, social factors, personal factors and psychological factors. The population in this study were consumers of Empal Catering Bibik. The sample size of 40 respondents. The research samples were collected using non-probability sampling methods and purposive sampling techniques. The research data was taken by using questionnaires which were distributed to respondents. Data analysis using the second order confirmatory analysis factor analysis. The results of data processing shows that consumer behavior factors in purchasing consumer food service start-ups are personal factors and psychological factors.

Abstract

Change and development of technology is something that cannot be denied anymore in the industrial era 4.0. This can be a challenge and an opportunity for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) entrepreneurs depending on how the MSMEs are responding to the development of information technology. The development of information technology is accompanied by the proliferation of various online applications to facilitate people’s lives in this digital age, one of which is the GoJek application. Go-Jek is the first digital-based motorcycle taxi application in Indonesia that offers a variety of services for its users, one of which is the delivery service available in the Go-Food service. This study aims to analyze the effect of perceived ease of use and trust on the repurchase interest in Go-Food features in the Go-Jek application. The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling using a Partial Least Square analysis tool with a population of all users of Go-Food services in the city of Surabaya. The results of this study are that without consumer confidence in the application provider, the convenience offered by an application is not able to cause the formation of repurchase interest. The results of this study are expected to be a theoretical basis for SMEs to encourage SMEs to take advantage of the opportunities gained from technological developments in this digital era.

Abstract

The number of unemployment rate in Indonesia that has been decreasing is caused by the growth of entrepreneurship in Indonesia, which is proven by the number of startup businesses in Indonesia reaching the sixth highest worldwide. Nevertheless, startup businesses have high failure rate, where two of three established startup businesses cannot sustain. With purpose to find out the reason of this phenomenon, this research aims to find out whether entrepreneurial passion and opportunity awareness have significant effects to startup businesses’ sustainability. This research uses the startup businesses of Ciputra University’s 2015 batch students that have been running for minimum 2 years as the sample. These startup businesses are aimed to be able to represent startup businesses since from more than 200 startup businesses established, only 42 startup businesses that sustain. Questionnaires are distributed to the samples using 5-points Likert-scale, and the data collected is then analyzed using Multiple Linear Regression. The result shows that entrepreneurial passion has significant effect toward startup business sustainability, but it does not go the same way with opportunity awareness. Opportunity awareness does not affect significantly toward startup business sustainability since it needs to be converted into opportunity recognition and opportunity exploitation to give significant effects.

Abstract

The purpose of the entrepreneurship training is to empower learners to be entrepreneurs and when this learning process is delivered by online learning it will create much more flexibility. The training can be delivered from the home country where there is no language barrier, it is cheaper than traditional face-to-face training, it can be accessed at any time, and the content is a homeland context. This study aims to explain the training process by distance learning which is administered by Ciputra University Entrepreneurship Centre at Hongkong. The training is then strengthened by ICT infrastructure, communication strategy and comprehensive learning strategy. The result shows that there is a significant change on the entrepreneurship skills of Indonesian workers, therefore the role of government is needed to to support this significant result (the involvement, government policies, campaign of distance learning, and the comprehensive making of user friendly hardware and software).

Abstract

Usaha mikro merupakan bagian dari pelaku usaha yang mempunyai peran terhadap pertumbuhan perekonomian Indonesia. Namun di sisi lain, ditemukan beberapa kelemahan yang dimiliki oleh usaha mikro yang selama ini menjadi faktor penghambat daya saing usaha mikro terhadap skala usaha yang lebih besar. Dalam rangka meningkatkan kinerja usaha mikro, salah satu cara yang dilakukan peningkatan kualitas SDM melalui pelatihan. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian rancangan eksplanatoris. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah pelatihan entrepreneurship dan (2) pelatihan manajemen usaha. Variabel tergantung dalam penelitian ini adalah pendapatan pelaku usaha mikro makanan dan minuman. Indikator pelatihan dilihat dari: materi, instruktur, media, waktu, dan fasilitas pelatihan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner. Kuesioner terlebih dulu diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi, dan uji t. Hasil olah data menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan mempunyai pengaruh positif terhadap pendapatan pelaku usaha mikro makanan dan minuman. Pelatihan mempunyai kontribusi terhadap peningkatan pendapatan, dan ada perbedaan signifikan pendapatan sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperbaiki hasil belajar, keaktifan, dan efikasi diri pada siswa mata pelajaran entrepreneurship melalui penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif yaitu carousel feedback dan showdown. Terdapat dua siklus yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan tiga pertemuan per siklusnya. Masing-masing siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, tindakan dan observasi, refleksi, dan rencana perbaikan. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari hasil tes, lembar observasi, kuesioner, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri atas 32 siswa kelas X jurusan Multimedia di SMKN 1 Bondowoso. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model carousel feedback dan showdown mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar, keaktifan, dan efikasi diri siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II. Hasil belajar siswa meningkat dari 73,44% pada siklus pertama menjadi 86,84% pada siklus kedua, sedangkan keaktifan siswa meningkat dari 60% dari siklus pertama menjadi 79% pada siklus kedua. Ditemukan pula peningkatan jumlah siswa yang memiliki efikasi diri sangat tinggi dari 15 siswa di siklus pertama menjadi 25 siswa di siklus kedua.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Surabaya Plaza Hotel (SPH) dengan tujuan untuk menentukan peningkatan inovasi melalui empowerment. Para informan terdiri dari perwakilan dari masingmasing departemen di hotel di mana jumlah totalnya ada sembilan departemen. Informan yang mewakili karyawan berjumlah 30 orang, sedangkan yang mewakili manajemen ada lima orang. Informasi yang berkaitan dengan inovasi dan pelaksanaan empowerment diperoleh dari wawancara langsung dengan semua informan, mengadakan observasi di lapangan dan mengumpulkan data sekunder dari perusahaan (hotel). Semua data yang terkumpul dilakukan triangulasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan empowerment di Surabaya Plaza Hotel belum 100% berjalan sempurna. Manajemen telah memberikan dukungan penuh kepada karyawan untuk melaksanakan empowerment. Keberhasilan pelaksanaan empowerment tergantung pada komitmen manajemen yang memegang fungsi kontrol, koreksi (perbaikan), dan kontrol internal dan eksternal dari karyawan.

Abstract

The 5E Learning Cycle Model is a method of project based learning. This means that students are not only given the theory but also the experience of implementing each stage of the 5E Learning Cycle Model. The model is based on cycle that includes: (1) engagement, (2) exploration, (3) identification, (4) ideation, (5) visualization and evaluation, and (6) execution and monitoring. Through this learning method successfully born the "startup" retail business of students. The "startup" retail business separates in commercial locations such as mall and food court. The "startup" retail business providing hands-on experience on how the process of setting up a retail business. Furthermore, knowledge and managerial skills of sales and marketing, operations, finance, and human resources were also transferred to the students successfully.

Abstract

Dalam praktiknya, intensi entrepreneurial di Indonesia masih rendah. Hal tersebut merupakan masalah yang perlu dipecahkan melalui penelitian. Jika penelitian terdahulu bertujuan untuk membahas faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi intensi entrepreneurial, studi ini secara spesifik bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh sikap entrepreneurial terhadap intensi entrepreneurial, pengaruh efikasi diri terhadap intensi entrepreneurial, pengaruh kecenderungan mengambil risiko terhadap sikap pada entrepreneurship, dan pengaruh kecenderungan mengambil risiko terhadap efikasi diri. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel mahasiswa di Yogyakarta. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data primer berupa kuesioner dan wawancara tertutup. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode structural equation modeling. Hasil studi ini mengindikasikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh sikap entrepreneurial terhadap intensi entrepreneurial, tetapi tidak ditemukan adanya pengaruh efikasi diri terhadap intensi entrepreneurial, pengaruh efikasi diri terhadap intensi entrepreneurial, pengaruh kecenderungan mengambil risiko terhadap sikap pada entrepreneurship, dan pengaruh kecenderungan mengambil risiko terhadap efikasi diri.

Abstract

Ciputra University has a core focus on entrepreneurship and always emphasized entrepreneurships education in a contextual way. This paper shares the best practices of Entrepreneurships Education program that’s being run at Ciputra University. The program known as “Inspiring Wednesday.” In this program, for one day each week the study will be dedicated solely to entrepreneurship topics. It is conducted through the entire campus starting with the students from the first semester all the way to the fifth semester. The program offers the students a combination of real-live learning experience along with skills which are useful assets for aspiring entrepreneurs. The Entrepreneurship education is carried out by both lecturer as entrepreneur enabler and professional entrepreneurs, called as entrepreneur in residence, in order to achieve University’s objectives. This paper covers the rationale, methods, results, and evaluation of the inspiring Wednesday in Ciputra University.
