Abstract

Customer Lifetime Value, familiar as CLV is valuability a customer in marketing system. High CLV has a meaning that the customer will bring in a big return for a firm. CLV is determined by some factors, as retention rate, acquisition rate, some costs, product price, and interest rates. Markov Chain is one of model that used to determine CLV.  In Markov Chain, a customer is assumed some state. Transition inter states are assumed Markovian. Here, we make CLV model using Markov Chain with four states. There are four type of model that have four states. Each type have different transition chart and of course have different probability transition matrix. Here, we describe every type of CLV model using Markov Chain.

Abstract

In this paper we report the results of studies relating to the synthesis of Cobalt Ferrite (CoFe2O4) thin films by a sputtering method. The CoFe2O4 thin film has been prepared onto silicon substrate from the sputtering targets, CoFe. Structural propertiesofthinfilms were characterized byx-ray diffraction and the morphology was characterized by scanning electron microscopy. The growth parameter are: base pressure 2,8 x 10-2 Torr, ratio of Argon:Oxygen flow rate are 100:50 sccm, deposition pressure 5.4 x10-1 Torr, growth temperature 100oC.Nanostructures of the thin film that have been analyzed are crystallite size and micro strain.We obtained the crystallite size of CoFe2O4 thin films for layer thickness of 40 and 48 nm, respectively are: 32 nm and 66 nm, while the micro strain is 8.0 x 10-4 and 10.2 x 10-4.

Abstract

The Balenggek chicken is a long crower type fowl. This fowl have isolated and caging in single cage for years to result the long crower sound.This study was carried out to identify the influence of fed to the ejaculate sperm quality of balenggek chickens. First, the sperm were collected from isolated caging of Balenggek fowl more or less than three years and un-isolated caging of Balenggek fowl as control group. Second, the sperm were collected from isolated caging of Balenggek fowl more or less than three years and un-isolated caging of Balenggek fowl as control group, after treated by 124 ComFed for three months. The sperm were collected by massages methods and analyze with counting chamber of Improve Neubauer. Slides of sperm were stained by Eosin. Variables observed were sperm ejaculated, colours, and sperm consistency. The results shows that the sperm quality of Balenggek fowl increased (from 2.5 billion sperm/ml to 3.5 billion sperm/ml) significantly higher (p<0.05) in isolated caging fowl with reschedule feeding. Sperm color and its consistency were increased from + (c quality) to ++ (b quality). It can conclude that single caging could decreased the ejaculated sperm of Balengggek chickens quality and it. could reveal increased after it treated by 124 ConFed.

Abstract

Papaya seeds are excellent to be used as a repellent larvae of Aedes aegypti because of the toxins contained in papaya seeds called alkaloid karpaina. The research objective was to determine the effectiveness of papaya seeds powder as Aedes aegypti larvicides. This type of research is True Experiment with Posttest Only Control Group research design, using five treatments (4 grams, 8 grams, 12 grams, 16 grams and 20 grams) and one control. Objects that are used as many as 600 larvaes of Aedes aegypti. If the papaya seeds powder in a simple processsuch as drying and grinding. Each treatment contains 50 larvaes and by doing 2 times repeatedly. The results of data analysis on the number of dead larvaes at a dose trending dead at the lowest possible total percentage of 22% at a dose of 4 grams and the highest percentage of 97% at a dose of 20 grams. The analysis result of one-way ANOVA for the number of differences in the number of dead larvaes, with the value obtained sig. = 0.000, so that ? <? (0.05) means that there is a significant influence on differences in doses of papaya seeds powder solution used against the death of Aedes aegypti larvaes. The control of Aedes aegypti larvaes using papaya seeds powder can be done by puttingthe powder of papaya seeds as much as 20 grams per 10 liters of water for 24 hours of treatment.
