Abstract

Poksai horse (Garrulax rufifrons rufifrons) is a bird endemic to the island of Java, the bird is only found in some mountainous regions in West Java. Distribution and number of individuals poksai horses in nature can not be known with certainty, there is still a lot of data that is unknown, such as how it behavior, why is it spreading increasingly narrows, reproductive system and others.One of the Institute of conservation in Sukabumi have started doing this to kind of breeding programs namely Cikananga Conservation Breeding Centre (CCBC), but there are still some obstacles that arise during the breeding program is running. In February until March 2014 conducted research at CCBC, against 2 pairs of poksai horses. Observations using scan sampling method, for 7 hours/day divided into two time, namely at 07.00-12.00 and 13.00-15.00 GMT.Based on the results of the daily behavior of the dominant research on bird poksai is the behavior moves (94,725%), ingestive(3.93%), silent behavior (1,295%). The activity observed in the behavior of Pre-breeding activity is approaching, probe, feeding, talking, making nests, dancing, destroying the hive. From poksai 2 pairs of horses were observed only a pair of eggs and incubate successful son.  Key word: Poksai horse, the behavior activity, Pre-breeding activity, Cikananga conservation breeding centre, Sukabumi.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to compare the potential of ethanolic and water extracted of teki grasstuber on   white  male  rat strain Sprague  Dawley  at  two  months of age and ± 200 g of body weight. The rats were divided among four groups. Each group consists of six rats. The  groupswere ethanolic and water extracted  of  teki  grass tuber, positive control group (Paracetamol) and a negative control group (distilled water). Analgesic potency was tested by inducing pain stimuli previously to the animals, in the form of  heat stimuli  by putting it ona hot plate with  the temperature of 55°C. The responses of rats observed were licking and moving or lifting of their legs. Observations  were made for 1 minute, before  and  after  administration  of  pain stimulus at 15, 30, 45  and 60 minute. The results showed that ethanol and  water  extract  at an effective dose of 49 mg / 200 g of BW, gave relatively the same effect as an analgesic or   positive control group. Keywords : analgesic, ethanol and water extract of teki grass tuber, pain

Abstract

This event will be based on research by the large number of reports on the benefits of soursop for various diseases especially antihipertensi and antihiperuresemia. Forms need to be developed so that a more practical preparations and ketersediannya continuous, one of which is in the form of effervescen granule juice. This research aims to find out whether the soursop fruit juice can be a formulation in granule material of efervesen who meet the requirements of quality, standards and terms of efervesen granule and making it acceptable in society. In the study of fruit juice made with the soursop fruit flesh filter using Batiste, juice drained using Freezedryer with the addition of maltodekstrin 20%. The powder is then made 3 fruit formula granule effervesent with the difference of acid-catalyzed and the manufacturing process is done by the method of smelting using alcohol 70% without binder. Test results show the BSLT fruit pollen have toxic effects against larvae of shrimp Artemiasalina Leach with LC50 108.914 ppm. The results of the evaluation of the third shows the formula for granule corner quietly and solubility are eligible, cohesive, and the granule flow values test froth above 70%, the test results of licentious formula2 has the most preferred taste. Stability test for efervesen granule 8 weeks the most stable at a temperature of 15 ° C containing Sodium ion levels 3, 97g/100 ggranul, potassium of 0, 24g/100 ggranul, 2, 19mg SAG polyphenols/ggranul and vitamins C51, 91mg/100ggranul. Key words : granul, efervesen, stabilitas, sirsak

Abstract

Kualitas ekosistem kota dipengaruhi oleh ketersediaan kanopi pohon dalam RTH kota karena selain fungsi estetika dan visualnya, pohon mempunyai beberapa fungsi bio-ekologis yaitu modifikasi radiasi matahari, mengurangi kebisingan, penyaring dan penjerab polutan, pencegah erosi dan pengontrol laju limpasan permukan; serta fungsi sosial ekonomi dan budaya. Walaupun demikian besarnya manfaat lahan bervegetasi, namun keberadaannya sulit dipertahankan saat dihadapkan pada konflik kepentingan alih fungsi lahan, dikarenakan  masih minimnya pemahaman masyarakat dan pihak pengelola kota dalam menterjemahkan nilai ekonomi RTH kota, serta keterbatasan alat analisis (tools) yang mampu menterjemahkan sejumlah nilai manfaat tersebut ke dalam bentuk angka-angka nominal (nilai ekonomi) yang lebih mudah dipahami oleh semua pihak. Sebuah organisasi Non Profit US Forest mempelopori pendekatan cost-benefit analysis ini dengan mengembangkan sebuah program analisis berbasis GIS untuk menghitung manfaat ekonomi hutan kota secara spasial, dengan menggunakan bantuan perangkat lunak software Arcview 3.2. ektensi CITYGreen 5.4. Aplikasi program ini dilakukan dalam serangkaian  penelitian di wilayah administratif kota Bogor. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan, maka penggunaan program aplikasi CITYGreen ini dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis potensi RTH untuk 4 manfaat, yaitu: potensi penyimpanan dan penjerapan Carbon, potensi reduksi limpasan permukaan,  konservasi energi, landcover breakdown dan pemodelan pertumbuhan pohon. Hasil analisis berupa peta landcover, dan analysis report yang menyajikan: site statistic,  ecological benefits, dan economic benefit summary/nilai nominal manfaat ekosistem untuk 4 kategori tersebut, yang diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan pertimbangan penyusunan kebijakan strategis pengelolaan RTH kota. Kata kunci : CityGreen, RTH, Ekosistem kota

Abstract

Aquaculture of nilem fish needs parent and larvae. The good parent is available from research station with good facilities and management, so it can distribute to farmer by transportation. The important factors that should be notice in transportation process is usage of anaesthetic ingredients to exhilarate fish during transportation process. This research was used nutmeg bean oil contained of miristisin that able to exhilarate. The result of main research showed that the more nutmeg bean oil concentration the more fast nilem fish will be insensible, the lowest concentration (75 mg/l) sensible time of 97,11 minutes while the highest concentration (150 mg/l) showed insensible time of 10,13 minutes. The result of conscious time observation showed that 75 mg/l  resulted conscious time of 17,5 second while 150 mg/l resulted concious time of 740 second. 150 mg/l concentration is the best concentration because it has the fastest insensible time of 10,13 minutes, the longest concious time of 740 second, has hatch value degree and the longest larvae-life and  effective for exhilarate nilem fish. Nutmeg bean oil has influence towards sperm quality, but all of the treatments have the same effect (not significant) towards sperm quality, egg-impregnation degree, egg hatch and nilem fish larvae-life.  Keywords:  nutmeg bean oil,  anaesthetic ingredients in delivery process,  spermatozoa quality for spawning, nilem fish

Abstract

Soybean waste is one of the alternative sources of fiber which is a by-product in the manufacture of tofu and contains high crude protein. Fiber and protein are given in the form of soybean pulp with variation of 0-40%. This study aims to determine the addition of maximal soybean pulp that provides the properties of cookies that can be accepted by the public and to know the physical properties, microbiology, chemistry including food fiber. The best soybean dregs flour is without washing, steaming. Soybean flour without washing, steaming has 11.65% water content, 3.15% ash, 18.37% protein, 1.25% total food fiber, 0.94% insoluble food fiber, 0 soluble food fiber, 31%, lead <0.04 ppm, cadmium <0.005 ppm, and zinc 20.80ppm, total plate counts (ALT) of 2 x 102 kol / gram, E.coli <3 AMP / gram, / gram. Cookies C5 with the ratio of soybean flour and wheat flour (40%: 60%) are selected products, physical characteristics of soybean cookies include color parameters, aroma, crispness and flavor. The result of analysis of nutrient content of cookies obtained by water content 2,22%, ash 2.20%, protein 7.2%, total food fiber (TDF) 0.85%, insoluble food fiber (IDF) 0,51, soluble (SDF) 0.33%, zinc 25.60 ppm, lead <0.04 ppm, cadmium <0.005 ppm Total total plate count (ALT) of 25 x 10-1 cab / gram, E.coli <3 AMP / gram, mold <10 kol / gram. Key words : Food Disversivication, Soybeans, Cookies, Proteins, Food Fiber

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informatika saat ini telah melintasi berbagai bidang dan salah satunya adalah dimanfaatkan untuk memodelkan kondisi biologis manusia melalui ilmu genetika. Prinsip tentang gen dan pewarisan sifat yang dikukuhkan dalam Hukum Mendel dapat dimodelkan dengan Algoritma Branch and Bound melalui penggunaan Bahasa Pemrograman Visual Basic 5. Abstract

Sejak jaman dahulu masyarakat kita telah mengenal berbagai macam tanaman obat yang biasa digunakan sebagai obat tradisional, namun masih banyak yang belum dapat dipertanggung jawabkan, akan tetapi manfaat dari tanaman obat telah terbukti dalam hal mengobati berbagai penyakit. Seperti halnya herba kemangi dan buah adas yang diduga memiliki khasiat androgenik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas androgenik dari kombinasi ekstrak etanol herba kemangi (Ocimum basillicum L.) dan buah adas (Foeniculum vulgare Mill.) pada tikus putih jantan galur Sprague dawley dan menentukan dosis yang paling efektif sebagai meningkatkan aktifitas androgenik. Kelompok sediaan uji berupa ekstrak etanol herba kemangi dan buah adas yang diencerkan dengan penambahan CMC Na 0,5%. Hewan uji yang digunakan sejumlah 20 ekor tikus putih jantan usia 3-4 bulan, yang di bagi dalam 5 kelompok. Setiap kelompok terdiri dari 4 ekor tikus. Kelompok I dengan kombinasi dosis ekstrak etanol herba kemangi dan buah adas (0,11g/200gBB : 0,70g/200gBB), kelompok II dengan kombinasi dosis ekstrak etanol herba kemangi dan buah adas (0,22g/200gBB : 0,70g/200gBB), kelompok III dengan kombinasi dosis ekstrak etanol herba kemangi dan buah adas (0,44g/200gBB : 0,70g/200gBB), kelompok IV sebagai kontrol positif dengan pemberian metiltestosteron 3,85mg/200gBB, dan kelompok V sebagai kontrol negatif dengan pemberian CMC Na 0,5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian kombinasi ekstrak etanol herba kemangi dan buah adas dosis 3 (0,44g/200g BB : 0,70g/200g BB) merupakan dosis yang paling efektif dalam meningkatkan aktifitas androgenik pada tikus putih jantan galur sprague dawley. Kata Kunci : Potensi Androgenik, Ekstrak Etanol Herba Kemangi, Ekstrak Etanol Buah Adas, Tikus Putih Jantan.

Abstract

Cystelis® tablet is an expectorant medicine which contain 30 mg/tablet of Ambroxol Hydrochloride. To ensure the safety and effectiveness of the medicine must be well controlled especially the analytical methode which used to determined the actived ingredient in the medicine. This analytical methode must resulting the amount of Ambroxol Hydrochloride which can be trusted. The purpose of this research are to test and proof the result of determination Ambroxol Hydrochloride in Cystelis® tablet could be trusted in daily test in laboratorium. Analytical methode  validation is a effort to get and documented proof that the result of test methode can be trusted with some specification. The Parameters of analytical methode validation are precision,  linearity, accuracy, range, selectivity, and stability test (robustness). Analytical methode that used in pharmacy specially High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), using mobile phase metanol : buffer potassium dyhidrogen phosphate 0,01 M (70:30) pH 6,0 and stationary phase C18 Symmetry (150 mm x 4,6 mm) with particle size 5mm, flow rate 1,0 mL/minute, injection volume 10,0 mL and measured at wavelength 247 nm. Analytical results showed that the placebo did not gived any analytical respons in selectivity test. Accuracy which know as  % recovery showed the average of % recovery 99,31% (98,70 – 100,44%), range between 80%-120%. Linearity at consentration range 70% - 130% with coefficient correlacy (r)  0,99924. The result of precision which is repeatability with average of % RSD 0,25%.  Based on t value and F value on intermediate precision showed that there is no differently result gived by the analytical methode with different analyst and time. Stability test solution and mobile phase composition with % bias £ ± 2% and %RSD £ 2%. Based on the analytical methode validation result the determination of Ambroxol Hydrochloride in Cystelis® tablet with high performace liquid chromatography we can conclude that this analytical methode is valid to implemented in daily inspection at Quality Control laboratory PT. Abstract

Lake Cikaret is the largest lake in the village of Cikaret in district of Cibinong, Bogor district which is also a reserve of water for residents. The Lake is thought to have experienced pollution due to the inclusion of various types of waste from households and activities waste disposal by visitors. Research done by the method of field survey, the research is divided into 3 point i.e. inlet, middle and outlet. The results showed the temperature 25 oC-38oC, pH values in the range 5-7, the value of dissolved oxygen content ranged between 5.9-14.5, BOD values ranged from 5.6-7.5 mg/liter and CO2 values ranging between 11.3-13.5 mg/l due to the pollution of the natural. Net primary productivity of photosynthesis 3.2 mg/l, gross 4.3 mg/l of photosynthesis and respiration 1.1 mg/l. Plankton found Chlorophyceae, Cyanophyceae and composed Bacillariophyceae. belong to the phytoplankton and zooplankton 5 classes, namely Euglenoidae, Dapniidae, Maxillo-poda, crustaceans and Monogononta. The value of diversity index includes low range 0.05-0,149. Equity index value on Lake Cikaret range 0,009-0,064.
