Jurnal Maksipreneur: Manajemen, Koperasi, dan Entrepreneurship (JMP) is a periodical scientific journal published by Universitas Proklamasi 45 (UP45) Yogyakarta, Indonesia, twice a year on December and June. This journal is intended to collect and publish a summary of research results, scientific development writings, book reviews, as well as original ideas those are fresh and challenging related to the study of development in management, cooperatives, and entrepreneurship. Abstract

Pada edisi ini, JMP memasuki tahun kedelapan kiprahnya turut berpartisipasi dalam mengembangkan keilmuan melalui diseminasi hasil penelitian dan pemikiran para penulis kompeten. Pada volume delapan nomor satu ini, JMP menghadirkan tujuh artikel hasil penelitian tentang pengembangan di bidang pemasaran, koperasi, sumber daya manusia, manajemen strategi, dan keuangan syariah. Edisi ini diawali dengan penelitian Hadi di bidang pemasaran melalui pengungkapan dampak ketergantungan pada smartphone terhadap intensi pembelian ulang dan technostress. Dalam penelitiannya tersebut, Hadi menemukan faktor kemudahan (convenience), kebutuhan sosial, dan pengaruh sosial memiliki dampak positif terhadap ketergantungan (dependency) pada smartphone. Sementara, ketergantungan smartphone berdampak positif pula terhadap intensi pembelian ulang dan technostress.Dengan menggunakan analisis kualitatif berdasarkan identifikasi model SWOT (analisis kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman), Gandhy dan Kurniawati mengungkapkan prioritas strategi yang harus dilakukan Koperasi Produksi Susu dan Usaha Peternakan (KPS) Bogor adalah penetrasi pasar dan pengembangan produk. Pilihan strategi tersebut lebih ditajamkan dengan analisis Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) yang menghasilkan alternatif strategi berdasarkan prioritas, yaitu pengembangan produk turunan susu, peningkatan jumlah anggota koperasi, penyediaan fasilitas kredit usaha bagi anggota, peningkatan kualitas susu, pengembangan jaringan distribusi susu, dan penguatan tujuan koperasi. Dalam penelitiannya, Nawastuti juga menggunakan model SWOT guna mengungkapkan pentingnya kearifan lokal untuk memahami teknologi hasil perikanan bagi masyarakat pesisir di Larantuka, Flores Timur, Nusa Tenggara Timur. Kearifan lokal diwariskan secara turun temurun dari satu generasi ke generasi berikutnya. Kebudayaan masyarakat pesisir dapat diartikan sebagai keseluruhan pengetahuan atau sistem kognisi yang ada dan berkembang pada masyarakat pesisir.Dalam penelitian sumber daya manusia, Kristiyana mengungkap perbedaan gender antara pegawai pria dan pegawai wanita dalam peran konflik kerja, emosional kerja, dan kinerja mereka sebagai pegawai marketing perusahaan farmasi di Jawa Tengah. Hasil penelitian tersebut menemukan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan antara pegawai pria dan wanita pada konflik peran mereka di rumah dan tempat kerja. Demikian pula, perbedaan tidak ditemukan pada kinerja antara pegawai pria dan wanita berdasarkan keahlian teknial, dedikasi kerja, dan fasilitas interpersonal. Namun, Kristiyana menemukan adanya perbedaan gender pada kecerdasan emosional yang terlihat dari pengendalian dan motivasi diri. Selanjutnya, hasil penelitian Bahri mengungkap dimensi pemasaran di sebuah department store dan supermarket di Yogyakarta melalui pembuktian bahwa lokasi, pelayanan, dan kualitas produk mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan pada keputusan pembelian dan kepuasan konsumen, sedangkan nilai emosional dan disain interior tidak mempunyai pengaruh pada keduanya.Sebagai penutup edisi ini, dua penelitian di bidang keuangan disajikan oleh Hartoyo dan Fadli dalam perspektif yang berbeda. Hartoyo mengungkap aspek keuangan pada perusahaan pertambangan yang terdaftar di BEI (Bursa Efek Indonesia), sedangkan Fadli menyoroti aspek bagi hasil pada Deposito Mudharabah di Bank Syariah Mandiri. Hartoyo melakukan penelitian keuangan pada perusahaan pertambangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2014-2016 dan menemukan bahwa current ratio dan ukuran perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan, sedangkan struktur modal menunjukkan pengaruh sebaliknya. Temuan ini penting sebagai bahan pertimbangan dalam pengambilan keputusan investasi, khususnya pada perusahaanpertambangan yang go public. Berikutnya, penelitian tentang perbankan syariah yang dilakukan oleh Fadli mencoba mengungkap pengaruh Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) dan Non-Performing Financing (NPF) terhadap bagi hasil pada Deposito Mudharabah di Bank Syariah Mandiri. Berdasarkan koefisien regresi pada model penelitian yang digunakan, kedua variabel baik FDR maupun NPF memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap bagi hasil Deposito Mudharabah. FDR berpengaruh negatif, sedangkan NPF memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap bagi hasil Deposito Mudharabah di Bank Syariah Mandiri.Artikel-artikel hasil penelitian tersebut dihadirkan untuk memperkaya khasanah keilmuan manajemen, koperasi, dan kewirausahaan. JMP semakin memantapkan diri sebagai salah satu jurnal ilmiah di bidang manajemen, koperasi, dan kewirausahaan dengan penggunaan DOI (Digital Object Identifier) dan fasilitas similarity check dari iThenticate. Selain itu, perbaikan tata kelola online journal system (OJS) senantiasa ditingkatkan dari waktu ke waktu untuk meraih standar publikasi ilmiah yang kredibel dan memastikan perbaikan kualitas publikasi secara berkelanjutan. Editor kembali mengundang para akademisi, peneliti, dan praktisi untuk berkontribusi dalam berbagi ilmu dan pengalaman bagi pengembangan keilmuan pada publikasi edisi Juni 2019 mendatang. Selanjutnya, kami juga selalu membuka diri atas saran dan kritik dari para pihak terkait untuk perbaikan dan penyempurnaan publikasi JMP di masa-masa mendatang.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the growing of online businesses that have an impact on decreasing income of retail businesses. In order to survive, a retail  business have to implement strategies that can increase purchases and provide satisfaction to consumers. This study aims to determine the effect of location, service, product quality, emotional value, and interior design variables on purchasing decisions and also customer satisfaction for increasing purchases, and testing the effect of purchasing decisions on customer satisfaction at Gardena Department Store & Supermarket. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive. The sampling method is non-probability sampling and using purposive sampling technique. The data that have been collected then analyzed using the statistical hypotheses test method consist of multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, and f-test. The partial results of the study indicate that the location, service, and product quality variables have positive and significant effects on purchasing decisions and customer satisfaction. While the emotional value and interior design variables have no partial effects on purchasing decisions and consumer satisfaction. Purchasing decisions has a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction. Simultaneously, the variables of location, service, product quality, emotional value, and interior design have positive and significant effects on purchasing decisions and customer satisfaction at Gardena Department Store & Supermarket. The results of this study can be used as an implication for company management that should continue to improve service, product quality, and need to pay attention to location, especially access and large parking lots so that consumers decide to make purchases and get satisfaction from the products, resulting an increase in consumer purchases at Gardena Department Store & Supermarket.

Abstract

Along with the development of sharia banking institutions in Indonesia, the more types of services provided by these Islamic banking institutions. This study focuses on internal factors, such as Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) and Non-Performing Financing (NPF), because of the presumption that these factors have the most significant influence on profit-sharing that exist in the Islamic banking system. This study aims to determine the effects of Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) and Non-Performing Financing (NPF) variables on Mudharabah Deposits of PT Bank Syariah Mandiri, both partially and simultaneously for the 2011-2017 period. The sample used in this study is PT Bank Syariah Mandiri in Indonesia by using multiple linear regression analysis which is processed using SPSS (Statistical Product Services and Solutions) software version 24. The results of this study state that FDR has a negative effect on profit sharing of Mudharabah Deposits, while NPF has a positive influence on the profit sharing of Mudharabah Deposits. These results also indicate that simultaneously the Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) and Non-Performing Financing (NPF) variables have a significant influence on the profit sharing of PT Bank Syariah Mandiri Mudharabah Deposits for the period 2011-2017. This is supported by the results of the coefficient of determination. The coefficient is 0.673 or 67.3% of profit sharing of the Mudharabah Deposits are influenced by the FDR and NPF variables, and the remaining 32.7% is influenced by other variables not used in this research model.

The Effect of Dependency on Repurchase Intention and Technostress

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of convenience to dependency toward smartphone, the effect of social need to dependency toward smartphone, the effect of social influence to dependency toward smartphone, the effect of dependency toward smartphone on repurchase intention, and the effect of dependency toward smartphone on technostress. This research have five hypotheses. Data were collected from 170 respondents which got from questionnaire distributed to graduate degree students of Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta. Based of the data collection, this analysis using structural equation modeling technique with software LISREL 8.72. The results of this research showed that convenience, social need, and social influence have positive and significant effects to dependency, while the dependency have positive and significant effects to repurchase intention and technostress. All (five) hypotheses on this research have been accepted. Each of those hypotheses discussed in detail through this article.

Abstract

Total production of dairy farmers in Indonesia are accounted for less than a quarter of the national dairy consumption. Most of dairy farmers in Indonesia are coordinated by cooperative. Therefore, the right strategy is needed to strengthen the role of cooperatives and their members. Research is conducted in Bogor Dairy Production Cooperative (KPS Bogor), Bogor District. The research is offering Business Development Strategy of dairy cooperative using Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis and Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) methods. The results showed the internal and external (IE) indicators in KPS Bogor. IE Matrix showed that KPS Bogor stands in five quadrant. The general strategies are market penetration and product development. Based on matrix of SWOT method, there are six alternative strategies. QSPM results showed the highest priority strategy for KPS Bogor are: (1) Strategy to develop derivative products of milk, (2) Strategy to increase the number of dairy farmers, (3) Strategy to provide credit facilities for members of the cooperative, (4) Strategy to improve milk quality standards, (5) Strategy to expand the distribution network, and (6) Strategy to clarify goals of KPS Bogor.

Abstract

Characteristics of people in coastal area are taught and open mind like sea which is analog to open access and high risk. They inherit knowledge from their ancestors who refered to stars constelation as guide, besides other traditional technologies. There are four research questions: (1) How are technologies inherited to young generations? (2) Are the developing fish technologies accepted? (3) What are governments’, scholars’, and NGO’s roles? and (4) How is people’s responds towards modern technologies? Meanwhile, this research wants: (1) To know inheritance technologies, (2) To understand acceptability level, (3) To explore the roles’ of governments, NGOs, and scholars, and (4) To recognize people’s respond toward technologies. Fisheries commodities have comparative advance, although they are perishable food that need quick, accurate, and right treatment. The research was conducted in Larantuka Sub-district of East Flores. Observation and interview were data collection methods applied in this research. Data were analysed using SWOT analysis. It is concluded that traditional technologies are useful to preserve local culture and wisdom. The role of government through local development agents, NGOs, and scholars via trainning has not applicable yet for the community in the wide area and has limitations of man power.

Abstract

Marketing employees as the heart of the company have a duty to achieve good performance, work targets must be fulfilled in an effort to contribute to the company's performance. Gender differences in the domestic role of families with work and emotional differences in gender can provide benefits in the recruitment process and the job description of marketing employees. This study aims to determine differences between female employees and male employees in the role of work conflict and to know the differences between female employees and male employees in emotional work and performance as marketing employees of pharmaceutical companies. The sample of all marketing staffs of Takeda Indonesia Pharmaceutical Company in Central Java is 16 people. Primary data collection was done by a questionnaire. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method. The analysis of data uses an ANOVA analysis. The analysis of variance (ANOVA) is used because there are two independent variables with combinations scales, namely interval and nominal (gender), while the dependent variable is interval scale. The results of this research showed that the roles of conflict and performance have no differences between male employees and female employees. For emotional intelligence, there are differences between male employees and female employees. The significant differences mean that there are a real differences between male employees and female employees in their emotional intelligence. Self-control and self-motivation as a form of emotional intelligence showed differences between male marketing employees and female marketing employees.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and to analyze the Current Ratio, Capital Structure, and Corporate Size partially affect the Financial Performance of Mining Companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) in the period 2014-2016. The sample used is 120 financial statements of mining companies listed in BEI. The method used in sampling is purposive sampling. Data is collected by downloading, recording, researching, and copying information relating to the issues discussed in the study. Data analysis using descriptive statistics, classical assumption test, and multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, and coefficient of determination (R2). The results of this study indicate that current ratio and the size of the company does not affect on financial performance of mining companies on BEI in the 2014-2016, while the capital structure has a significant effect on the financial performance of mining companies on the company’s financial performance.

Abstract

Pada volume ketujuh nomor dua ini, kami menghadirkan tujuh artikel hasil penelitian tentang pengembangan keuangan, pemasaran, dan sumber daya manusia. Edisi ini diawali oleh dua hasil penelitian di bidang keuangan. Dalam penelitiannya, Mansyur mengungkap tentang bagaimana pengaruh risiko suku bunga dan risiko nilai tukar valuta asing bank terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan subsektor bank pada Bursa Efek Indonesia. Selanjutnya, Yanuariska dan Ardiati menguji kembali pengaruh kondisi keuangan, audit tenure, dan ukuran KAP terhadap opini audit going concern yang menggunakan perusahaan manufaktur dari tahun 2012-2016. Kajian berikutnya beralih ke pengembangan bidang pemasaran melalui tulisan Lestari yang melakukan kajian secara komprehensif tentang pengaruh price discount dan bonus pack terhadap nilai hedonik dan impulse buying, pengaruh nilai hedonik terhadap impulse buying, dan nilai hedonik sebagai mediasi pengaruh price discount dan bonus pack terhadap impulse buying. Sajian edisi ini dilengkapi dengan empat hasil penelitian di bidang sumber daya manusia. Pertama, Santoso mengungkapkan bahwa pengungkapan CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) internal dari dimensi employee support dirasakan sangat memotivasi dosen untuk meningkatkan kualitas kerja dan profesionalisme dosen, meskipun salah satu indikator employee support yakni pemberian penggajian pokok belum terlalu memuaskan bagi dosen. Kedua, Berliana dan Arsanti mengajukan tujuh hipotesis penelitian untuk dilakukan pengujian atas pengaruh self-efficacy, kapabilitas, dan perilaku kerja inovatif terhadap kinerja. Ketiga, Hidayati dan Saputra menempatkan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel antara pada pengaruh kepemimpinan, kompensasi, komunikasi, dan motivasi kerja terhadap turnover intention pegawai. Keempat, Sularso menggunakan Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA) untuk mengungkap lima dari tujuh pengaruh langsung yang terbukti signifikan terhadap kinerja dan kepuasan dokter muda di Rumah Sakit dr. Soetomo Surabaya.

Abstract

Leadership, compensation, communication, and work motivation positively affect the job satisfaction. Otherwise, job satisfaction negatively affect turnover intention. The results of 83 respondents of FTI UPN Veteran Yogyakarta employees can be explained as follows, it is proved significanly that there is an indirect influence of leadership, compensation, communication, and work motivation to turnover intention with job satisfaction as intermediate variable. While the direct effect of those variables are not significant. Between the four independent variables, the most dominant influence to increase job satisfaction and subsequently lower turnover intention is the work motivation.
