Abstract

One of the most usable polymers is PPV:PCBM, PPV polymer mixed with PCBM polymer with ratio 3:1 can generate higher efficiency rate compared to the others. When preparing the solar cell, the available hybrid polymer has ITO/PEDOT:PSS/PPV:PCBM/Carbon lithography structure, however the solar cell of this kind has some problems which is PEDOT:PSS tend to became hygroscopic when placed in the bottom layer will absorb more water until the performance of the solar cell decreases. This study will discuss hybrid polymer solar cell with reversed structure, where the PEDOT:PSS layer will be placed on the uppermost to avoid the lack of previously built solar cells, and CuO also used in this solar cells as doping to increase the efficiency rate of the solar cells. As a doping, the concentration of CuO will be varied from 0.5 mole and 0.75 mole. In the other side, the thick coating of CuO also varied from 1x, 2x and 3x. All prepared solar cells then characterized using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) to determine the crystal size, the thick of the layer and the surface’s morphological structure, 4-point probe system to measure the efficiency rate. The result of the CuO doping proved to be able to increase the efficiency rate of the previously built solar cells with the highest efficiency rate result is 3.237% with the 1 mole concentration of CuO and 1x coating. The crystal size of CuO was 23.19 – 23.25 nm.

Abstract

Comic is juxtaposed pictorial and other image in delibrate squence, intended to convey information and produce an aesthetic response in the viewer or reader. This reaserch aims to develope matter and characteristics colered comic for learning class VII SMP/MTs as learning media and to determine the validity and practicality level as media function. The type of this research is Research and Development (R&D) with 4-D models: (1) define, (2) design, (3) develop and (4) disseminate. This research is restricted until develop.The matter and characteristics colored comic was validated by two chemistry lecturers of FMIPA UNP and three sciense teachers of SMPN 4 Padang. The particality test was done by three sciense teachers of SMPN 4 Padang and 32 students of VII.2 class SMPN 4 Padang. This research used validity and practicality questionnaire as instrument. The coleccting data techniqe was conducted by distibuting the questionnaire and analyzed by Kappa Cohen formula. The result of analyzed show that matter and characteristics colored comic as learning media has 0,83  validity level and categorized as very high validity. The practicality level of this media has 0,87 categorized very high. The colored comic is very valid and practical to use as learnig media.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the availability of a snake ladder chemical game media on chemical bonding material that has not been tested for effectiveness on student learning outcomes. This study aims to reveal the effectiveness of the use of snake ladder chemical media on chemical bonding material on the learning outcomes of class X SMA / MA students. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The design of this study is Pre-experiment, One Group Pretest-Posstest Design. The population in this study were students of class X IPA SMAN 1 2x11 Kayu Tanam. The research sample was taken by using probability sampling techniques so that the class X MIPA 3 was selected as the sample class. The data analysis technique used is the N-Gain test and the Normality test. The results showed that the lowest gain value was 0.4 (medium), while the highest gain was 1.00 (high). Average Gain is 0.76 (high). In the data processing technique with SPSS 16 for the sample test it was found that the sample was not normally distributed and Wilcoxon showed that the significance value produced was 0,000 <0,05 from the significance level showing the media playing chemical snakes and ladders improving learning outcomes. So it can be concluded that the use of media snakes and ladders games is effectively used in chemistry subjects especially in chemical bonding material.

Abstract

The type of research that used in this study is Research and Development (R&D) by using 4D development model (four D models). This study aims to produce an e-module based on the scientific approach on salt hydrolysis for students of XI grade SMA/MA and to determine the level of validity and practicality of the e-module that has been produced. The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire of validity and practicality. The validity test were carried out by 3 chemistry lecturers and 2 chemistry teacher, while the practicality test was carried out on 30 students of XII grade IPA 1 of SMAN 1 Padang and 2 chemistry teachers of SMAN 12 Padang. From the results of data processing, the average kappa moment of the validity is 0,87 with a very high level of validity. While the practicality test obtained the average kappa moment of 0,88 both are from the teacher questionnaire and from the student questionnaire with a very high level of practicality. There for, an e-module based on a scientific approach has been produced in the salt hydrolysis materials for students of XI grade SMA/MA that is valid and practical.

Abstract

The research aims to find the correlation between teachear performance, learning motivation, and chemistry learning achievement on acid based topic in SMAN 5 Padang and their contribution for the learning achivement. The method of the research is correlation reserach with Ex-post factodisign with a quantititative approach. The population of the research are the whole students of grade XII MIA in SMAN 5 Padang for academical year 2018/2019, with the total amount of 178 students. The sampel taken by using clauter random sampling technique with a total of 64 students.Data colection using questionnaire and documentation. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that: (1) There is a positive and significant correlation between teacher performance with chemistry learning achievement on acid based topic in SMAN 5 Padang. It can be seen from the data analysis result showed r = 0,42 and t hitung = 3,64. (2) There is a positive and significant correlation between learning motivation with chemistry learning achievement on acid based topic in SMAN 5 Padang. It can be seen from the data analysis result showed r = 0,37 and t count = 3,18. (3) There is a positive and significant correlation between teachear performance and learning motivation with chemistry learning achievement on acid based topic in SMAN 5 Padang. It can be seen from the data analysis result showed r = 0,49 and F count = 9,63.(4) There is constribution between teachear performance withlearning achievement17,6%; constribution between learning motivation with learning achievement14%; and togethers constribution between teachear performance and learning motivation with learning achievement 24,3% Keywords: teachear performance, learning motivation, and chemistry learning achievement

Abstract

This study was backgrounded by the availability of chemistry ludo educative game as learning media on chemical bonding lesson that has not been tested its effectivity to the study result of students. This study aims to reveal the effectivity level of the use of chemistry Ludo Educative Game as Learning Media on chemical bonding lesson to the study result of 10th grade student of SMAN 1 Lubuk Alung. The type of this study is pseudo experiment with non-equivalent control group designas the study design. The populations in this study are the 10th grade student of SMAN 1 Lubuk Alung. The sampling of this study was taken by purposive sampling technique. The class of X MIPA 2 is an experiment class and the class of X MIPA 1 is a control class. The data analysis techniques conducted in this study are N-Gain test and average equality test (t-test). The result of the study showed that there is an understanding improvement in both classes. The experiment class showed better understanding improvement compare to the control class. this is proven by pretest marks of the students in the both class which have 83,61 and 77,88 as the pretest mark. This is also proven by the average value of N-gain test. The experiment class got 0,78 with high category and control class got 0,67 with medium category. It  is also supported by the significant value of t-test for both classes. 0,001< 0,05 (α) is the significant value of t-test which indicates that hypothesis is received. Abstract

Palm oil is one of the vegetable oils that can be used as diesel fuel (biodiesel) through a transesterification reaction with alcohol assisted in the form of a solid acid catalyst (activated carbon). Solid acid catalyst can be made from cassava skin carbon by being hydrolyzed to produce carbon at 250 oC. Next the carbon is sulfonated chemically with 98% H2SO4 solution. In this research, biodiesel was made through a transesterification reaction between bimoli and methanol oil with a ratio of 6: 1, and using a catalyst with sulfonation variation of 2 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours, and 8 hours. The reaction lasts 65 oC and takes 2 hours. The properties of solid acid catalysts were identified using FTIR and XRD. The results of FTIR spectra characterization show that at wave number 1100-1200 cm-1 there is a group O = S = O which is covalently bonded with the carbon structure in each sample of SCCP. The results of the maximum percentage of sulfonate fraction are located at 6 hours of sulfonation time using XRF. The results of biodiesel obtained were tested for physical properties such as density, flow rate and acid number. Keywords—Solid acid catalyst, cassava peel, sulfonated carbon, biodiesel.

Abstract

The learning proces with the curriculum 2013 refers to the scientific approach. The purpose of this research is to develop e-module based on a scientific approach to class X SMA/MA and determine the level of validity and practicality of  e-modules depeloped. The type of this research is research  and development (R&D) with a 4-D development model. E-module which is caried out is validity and practicality test. The validity test was carried out by 2 chemistry lectures at FMIPA UNP, 3 chemistry teachers at SMAN 8 Padang, while the practicality test is carried out by 3 chemistry teachers of SMAN 8 Padang and 30 students of class X IPA 5 SMAN 8 Padang in 2019/2020. The instrument used for this research was a validity questionnire and practicality questionnaire whose results will be analyzed using the cohen kappa formula. This research  produced an atomic structure, e-module based on scientific approach with a mean moment of kappa is 0,85 with a very high level of validity. The results of the teacher practicality test and the practicality test of the students obtained an average of kappa moments sequentially  were 0,85 and 0,84 with very high degree of  practicality.

Abstract

Personal Hygiene is an action to maintain one's hygiene and health for physical and psychological well-being. However, in reality the personal Hygiene of employees is not considered. One solution to overcome this problem is the application of personal hygiene in Pondok Bakso Mas Tris. The purpose of this study was to find out personal hygiene, general health, exercise and fresh air, cleanliness of employees and cleanliness of clothes. Data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the overall questionnaire results obtained statements from consumers as follows: strongly agree as much as 62.96%, agree 34.81% and less agree 2.22%, disagree 0%. So that it can be concluded that public health (general health) pay more attention to employees in maintaining general health in serving consumers. Based on the overall questionnaire results obtained statements from consumers as follows: strongly agree as much as 69.16%, agree 17.22% and disagree 8.47%, disagree 5.13%. So that it can be concluded that personal hygiene (personal cleanlines) on mas tris meatball huts pay little attention to personal hygiene and underestimate personal hygiene that has an impact on service to consumers who come. Based on the results of the consumer kepuasana questionnaire on mas tris meatball hut, it was found that strongly agreed 63.11%, agreed 35.11% did not agree 1.78% did not agree 0.0%. looks clean and neat when working. So that consumers love visiting continue to take care of the mas tris meatball hut. So it can be concluded that the Personal Hygiene at Pondok Bakso Mas Tris on Public Health, Personal Hygiene and Work Wear is very much considered.

Abstract

Tandem polymer solar cells are one of the potential candidates as an alternative energy source that produces electricity. Light absorption is carried out by active coating with material P3HT:PCBM and PPV: PCBM which is semiconductor. This study aims to determine the effect of the Cooper (II) Oxide (CuO) concentration and increase the amount of material coating on the active layer with variations in coating on topcell and bottomcell on the performance of solar cells. The XRD characterization results showed an influence on the crystal structure of the adsorption coefficient of CuO because the better the structural K of CuO , where the CuO Crystal structure was determined by the value of Crystal or ACS ( Average Cristal Size), the best value of ACO CuO at concentration 0 , 75M CuO with a value of 23,525 nm . The results of SEM characterization showed that CuO had a more uniform and homogeneous layer morphology. The highest efficiency is obtained from the comparison of P3HT: PCBM on topcell and PPV: PCBM on bottomcell (2: 1) which is 4.37 % with current strength of 0.0 5 mA and voltage of 4.098 V.   Keywords: Tandem Polymer Solar Cells P3HT,PCBM,PPV, CuO Semiconductors, Efficiency, SEM , XRD.
