ENLIGHTEN: Islamic Counseling Guidance Journal, is a forum for scientists, experts, experts, practitioners in the world of Islamic Counseling. Enlighten stands on the notion of concern for the IAIN Langsa Islamic Guidance and Counseling Study Program due to the lack of literature on current Islamic Counseling research. With that enthusiasm, in the year 2018 Enlighten was published first. Enlighten is published twice a year in July and December. The focus of the study relates to the results of research and methods of developing Islamic Counseling. Enlighten already has e-ISSN 2622-8920 and p-ISSN: 2622-8912. Already has various indices and DOI. The entire submit process is published through full OJS, which is reviewed by experts and scientists in Islamic Counseling both at home and abroad.

Abstract

This quantitative research aimed to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and lecturer’s assertive behavior with foreign language anxiety experienced by university student. The population in this study was the students of the Department of English Education, State Institute for Islamic Studies Langsa. The samples were selected by using Stratified Random Sampling technique and sorted 147 students in semester 2, 4, and 6 that spread proportionally. The data were collected by using Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale (FLCAS), self-efficacy scale, and lecturer’s assertive behavior scale. The data, then, were analyzed by multivariate linear regression. The result showed that self-efficacy and lecturer’s assertive behavior significantly contributed to foreign language anxiety. The effective contribution of self-efficacy and lecturer’s assertive behavior to foreign language anxiety was 58,4%.

Abstract

Unemployment cases should be a reference for guidance and counseling teachers (hereinafter referred to as BK) to be able to participate in efforts to reduce unemployment by providing BK services in the career field. BK offers a container in the form of various materials in order to fulfill its function. One form of implementing John Holland's career theory itself can be applied in career guidance with classical information services. In its application, this theory suggests the selection of one's work is inseparable from his personality. Someone expresses himself, his interests and values ​​through his choice of work. In addition, this theory also recognizes RIASEC personality types that are used as students' grip in determining their future careers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gender terhadap interaksi sosial dalam pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan kelompok pada siswa sekolah menengah pertama. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan untuk mengukur gender dan interaksi sosial adalah skala Likert. Gender diukur berdasarkan tipe gender yaitu maskulin, feminin dan androgini, pada interaksi sosial diukur berdasarkan syarat-syarat terjadinya interaksi yaitu kontak sosial dan komunikasi. Populasi dan sampel penelitian ini ada 78 orang. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah Regresi Linier Sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gender berpengaruh positif terhadap interaksi sosial sebesar 0,226. Dan R Square sebesar 0,040, ini menunjukkan bahwa gender berpengaruh terhadap interaksi sosial dengan kontribusi sebesar 4%. Uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai signifikan (sig) sebesar 0,077 yang lebih besar dari probabilitas 0,05 sehingga diambil keputusan untuk menerima H0 atau koefisien regresi yang diperoleh pada persamaan regresi dinyatakan tidak signifikan, berarti tidak terdapat pengaruh gender terhadap interaksi sosial dalam pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan kelompok pada siswa SMP.

Abstract

Kemampuan berbicara sangatlah penting di dalam perkuliahan, namun pada kenyataannya mahasiswa masih merasa kesulitan dalam berkomunikasi, terutama ketika mengikuti mata kuliah bahasa inggris di jurusan bimbingan dan konseling  dikarenakan kurangnya rasa percaya diri (self confidance). Hal tersebut tentunya dapat mengakibatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa yang tidak maksimal. TGT Model (Team Games Tournament) merupakan salah satu cara  yang akan memperluas fikiran mahasiswa sehingga mahasiswa dapat lebih berfikir positif  dan memiliki keberanian untuk mengungkapkan pendapatnya di depan umum, hal yang demikian itu tentunya dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah Classroom Action Research (CAR) dalam hal ini dilakukan dua putaran (cycling), setiap putaran (cycling) akan dilakukan perencanaan, tindakan, Observasi dan Refleksi. Data yang akan dihasilkan adalah data kuantitatif dan data kualitatif. Diperoleh data kemampuan berbicara  mengalami peningkatan sebesar 29,5. Dari hasil siklus 1 sebesar 59,33 dan dari siklus 2 sebesar 88,83. Selain itu dari hasil observasi self confidance juga mengalami peningkatan sebesar 30% pada point 1. 10% pada point 2. 23% dari point 3, dan 16 % dari point 4.  Selain itu dari diary note juga menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keaktifan mahasiswa di dalam kelas. Dengan demikian, model TGT efektif dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara dan self confidence dalam mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris pada mahasiswa.

Abstract

Humans learn differently. One way humans learn is to imitate (imitation). A child will imitate both parents and learn their habits and behavior patterns. Humans will learn many behaviors and habits in the early phases of his life by imitating his parents, older brothers, brothers and relatives around him. The position of the family in the development of the child's personality is very dominant. The family is a "Training Center" for the cultivation of values. Therefore, the family as a model to be imitated by the child has a very important role, both in language and behavior. This study discusses the imitation of children against everyday language in the family in Gampong Teungoh Langsa City, Aceh. The purpose of this research is to examine; The process of imitation of children against everyday language in the family in Gampong Teungoh and Parents efforts in overcoming the negative daily language imitation in the family.

Abstract

Tulisan ini menguraikan beberapa temuan berkaitan dengan hambatan-hambatan yang dialami oleh guru BK dalam melaksanakan Aplikasi Instrumentasi di sekolah ditinjau dari faktor yang berasal dari dalam diri maupun luar diri Guru BK serta upaya mengentaskan hambatan-hambatan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif jenis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa ada beberapa hambatan-hambatan yang dialami oleh Guru BK yang berasal dari dalam diri maupun dari luar diri dengan persentase sub aspek diatas rata-rata aspek. Serta upaya dalam yang dilakukan Guru BK dalam mengentaskan hambatan-hambatan tersebut sudah baik dengan angka rata-rata sub aspek diatas angka rata-rata aspek.

Abstract

This study discusses guidance and counseling accountability in schools so that school counselors can demonstrate their duties as instrumental personnel in achieving optimal student competencies. One model of accountability activities is the MEASURE model developed by Stone and Dahir (2016), as a six-step accountability process that helps school counselors to implement a component of accountability into counseling and guidance programs. The advice in this study is for school counselors to conduct In-Service Training to help them improve their skills in accountability.

Abstract

ABSTRACT   This research is intended to reveal students who are from outside the city of Padang. This research uses qualitative with descriptive method through collecting data with interviews, observation, and documentation. After the data is obtained then it is done by using the steps as follows, Data Reduction, Data Presentation, and Conclusion Drawings. The informants of this study were one person from outside the city of Padang and one person from the city of Padang. The results of this study are: 1) on indicators that discuss personal difficulties that are difficult to understand, 2) on indicators of social communication prepared about difficult time in socializing. Suggestions in this study are expected for migrants to be able to socialize well and are expected to be able to speak the new language, so that communication can continue.   Keywords: Self-Adjustment, Outside the City of Padang

Abstract

Adapun latar belakang penelitian ini adalah berdasarkan fenomena yang terjadi di lapangan yaitu komunikasi di kalangan naposo nauli bulung kurang berkembang ditunjukkan dengan adanya gejala-gejala seperti anggota naposo nauli bulung sulit untuk berpartisipasi dalam suatu acara di desa, kurangnya minat bermusyawarah antar naposo nauli bulung, sulitnya mengkomunikasikan untuk membuat acara penting di desa dikarenakan kurang aktifnya anggota naposo nauli bulung, komunikasi remaja kurang aktif dan cendrung tertutup, kurang percaya diri dalam menyampaikan pendapat, kurangnya keterampilan dalam berkomunikasi sehingga adanya kesulitan dalam menyelenggarakan kegiatan di desa. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan penelitian tindakan (action research) yang dianggap lebih detail dalam melaporkan layanan bimbingan kelompok. Subjek penelitian ini adalah naposo nauli bulung desa Sihepeng Induk yang berjumlah 30 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket dan pedoman observasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Data penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan rumus rata-rata dengan teknik tabulasi data secara kuantitatif berdasarkan hasil tindakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan naposo nauli bulung sudah cukup aktif dalam kegiatan kelompok dan berani dalam mengungkapkan pendapatnya di muka umum, walaupun tidak semua anggota kelompok, juga masih ada yang berdasarkan perintah dari peneliti baru berani, tapi secara keseluruhan sudah terlihat peningkatannya.

Abstract

The increasing use of Facebook social networking sites, most of which are teenagers, is a growing phenomenon at this time. As a result the positive and negative impacts that social media poses have an impact on their use. Facebook's social networking site influences the development of adolescent psychology, both physically (brain / amygdala), cognitive, social, personality, moral and religious. The purpose of this paper is to look at the impact of Facebook social networking sites on the development of adolescent psychology. Based on the results of the discussion that the impact of Facebook's social networking site on the development of adolescent psychology, among others: 1) Facebook as a medium for expressing feelings and channeling emotions, 2) Conflict of teenagers in using Facebook, 3) Facebook media for searching for identity and means of socialization, 4) Influencing time management of adolescents.
