Abstract

Hydroelectric solar energy Photovoltaic/Solar in addition can be used to program the rural electricity, solar energy utilization opportunities such as street lighting lamps as well as for the survival of the industry and small and medium enterprises. At solar power plants is also still there needs to be some development in managementcharging, this needs to be done in order for the resulting damage to the quality of mecegah power, namely the irregular voltage too high and sometimes too low from the solar cells towards the battery. Solar power plant comprises a PV panel change sunlight into direct current (DC), charging circuits for charging the battery, the charger system served as the heart of electric power generation system of solar power, which the battery used for electric power storage. This study is develop an intelligent system software architecture for Solar Charger Controler and used to arrange direct current to disuply battery by solar energy and transmitted to the load-based fuzzy logic. This simulation is expected to be implemented in a tool that serves as a charging in excess of set flush from the solar panel to batterybased fuzzy. Solar Charger controler based Fuzzy logic can be applied automatically regulates battery charging battery charging and limit if the voltage at the battery with charging function and organize the liberation of current from the battery to the load. software used In this study is Matrix Laboratory (MATLAB) used to simulate fuzzy logic controller as a regulator of the output voltage of boost converter after the solar cells. And managed to simulate the control of the voltage and current that entered the battery, battery filling in the range of 95%.

Abstract

Solar Street Lighting Light (PJU-TS) is a street lighting that uses sunlight as a source of electrical energy. The Solar Street Lighting (PJU-TS) is very suitable for roads in areas not covered by PLN electricity and also areas experiencing electrical energy crisis especially in remote areas. But recently PJU Solar Power is also rife applied in urban areas such as in the main streets, residential street, garden lights, campus area, factory area, bus stops, parking lots, gas stations (gas stations) and so on. In the process of designing the lamps for the first PJU is to determine the load installed,then calculate the number of solar panels or photovoltaic needs, then calculate the battery requirements and determine the capacity of the battery charge regulator (BCR). Then for PJU lamps to operate automatically installed light sensor or light dependent resistor (LDR) as a switch to turn on and off PJU lights. Then after all in the know then in the process of development researchers observed about how the performance of the controller in terms of automatic mode, manually circuit and its equipment components as well as sensors and modems. Abstract

Auxiliary transformers are the main equipment that is vital as voltage supplier to various equipment – equipment mounted on a plant. Without good maintenance it will affect the performance of transformer, based on research of Joko Susilo, Abdul Syahkur (2012) that maintenance of power transformer is done to maintain the effectiveness and endurance of electric power system so that the channelling is maintained well. This study aims to provide information on transformer condition early for PT Indonesia Power UP Mrica. Dwirahayu Widhiyanti (2016) argued to prevent damage caused some maintenance, among others, the examination of visual conditions, isolation testing and comparison of transformer. To perform isolation and ratio resistance testing, this test was conducted usng literature study method, which used the standard of IEC 60076-3:2000-03, ANSI C57.12.90 and PT PLN (Persero) P3B engineering sequence. In this test, the isolation resistance obtained and the ratio of the Auxiliary transformer in which the isolation resistance of PS T15 transformer is in good condition and bad condition because LV-G and HV-LV are between 1 - 1.1 HV-G and HV LV-G its value > 1.25, while the ratio test results on PS T15 transformer does not conform to the existing standard (ANSI Standard C57.12 .90) with results above the standard 0.5%, U phase6.39, phase V 6.91, phase W 6.91.

Abstract

Distribution system is very important in the distribution of electric power to the load. Therefore, a good and efficient distribution system is needed. The underlying cause of poor electric power distribution system is the amount of voltage drop values in the existing system. In the electric power distribution, 20 kV medium-voltage and 380/220V low voltage networks are used. The distribution system of Gandum Feeder in Angke Substation uses medium-voltage network with Underground Cable channel. They are used because of the towering buildings and the dense population in the area. It is known that the longest the channel and the load current are, the greater the voltage drop. From the result of the voltage drop calculation of Feeder Gandum in Angke Substation, which uses manual calculation and ETAP 12.6.0 program, it showed a slight difference in the result. The result of the voltage drop obtained from manual calculation showed that the percentage value of voltage is 1,94%, while the result obtained from ETAP 12.6.0 program showed that the percentage value is 2,01% These results are still in the PLN standard, because it has not exceeded the specified standard that is -10% of its nominal voltage.

Abstract

The Solar Power Plant Off-Grid 1 kWp at STT-PLN is one of the power plants built at STT-PLN to support renewable energy research, especially solar power generation. Since the solar power plant Off-Grid 1 kWp in STT-PLN has not yet known the optimum potential of electrical energy, the final yield (YF), the performance ratio (PR), and the efficiency of the system which is the parameters of a plant's performance Solar power. It is therefore necessary to analyze the performance of the solar power plant Off-Grid 1 kWp in STT-PLN, in order to know the operating system and the constraints that occur in the solar power plant Off-Grid 1 kWp in STT-PLN. To know the working parameters of Off-Grid 1 kWp in STT-PLN then do the research before and after maintenance of solar powerplant. Where final yield (YF), performance ratio (PR) before maintenance is 1.71343 Wh / Wp.day; 51.78%. While after maintenance of 3.10121 Wh / Wp.day; And 79.29%. From this research also obtained the efficiency of Off-Grid 1 kWp solar power system in STTPLN as a whole by 80,40%.

Abstract

At PT. Galleon Cahaya Investama which in this case much needed electrical appliance to be used in distribution network that is one tool of cubicles before marketed at other company. Cubiclesis a connecting device, divider and disconnecting load doing testing. In this cubicle insulation testing,cubicle is already in pairs and have connected with The transformer after that just done insulation testing with mega ohm meter, because cubicle is already 5 with the transformer then the insulation resistance value will be reduced because of the existing transformer windings in it. In testing leakage current PMT component is still in good condition, seen from test results that is still Below 300 μA, and in the test of isolation resistance, also in good condition, looking from the results that have been tested still shows the value above the standard isolation resistance. With visual inspection by looking at the results of work with the eyes and tools, namely see the shape, rust and placement of components that have been right.

Abstract

One way to optimize the flow of energy on a distribution channel is to reconfigure the network. This research aim to get optimal distribution system at PT.PLN Area Banjarmasin Penyulang BJM02, MTL04 and MTL10. The MTL10 repeater that will be recovered by reconfiguring the network to divide the load on the nearest repeater is the BJM02 and MTL04 feeders. This study uses 3 scenarios with regard to the state of the existing network to obtain a minimum power loss. In order to obtain a good conclusion then the analysis obtained that before the reconfiguration penyulang BJM02, MTL04 and MTL10 experienced energy losses 521,286 W. Resolving the problem then the network reconfiguration can be done on the BJM02 Repeater will divide the load of KST02 and the load of the earth in the circumference basirih earth in the feeder MTL04 to the MTL10 feeder. In configuring the network the thing that can be done is to open the KST02 circuit breaker at the KS.Tubun relay substance and close the disconneting switch (BJM02 Repeater) so that it connects with the MTL04 repeater. The MTL04 repeater will cut the muzzle throughput cable and connect the cable to the earth's basirih circular housing so that the load until KST02 is connected. The results obtained after reconfiguration can minimize power losses of 20,418 W.

Abstract

The demand for electricity will continues to increase each time, this is because of the number of PLN’s customers will continues too to grow each year. Therefore, this is directly proportional to growing the amount of electricity that have to be streamed. With the increasing of the number of PLN’s customers, the provider (PLN) have to increase the amount of electricity supply as well. In the era of globalization, the efficiency of electrical power has always been the main issued, both from the providers and the customers. Therefore, the realibility of distribution system of electrical power will been the main issued as well. The index that showing the reliability of the distribution system of electrical power is SAIDI (System Average Interruption Duration Index) and SAIFI (System Average Interuption Frequency Index). As small as the value of the indexes, both SAIDI and SAIFI is so the more reliable the system, which means the efficiency of the distribution system is good (high efficiency). In this research will be discussed about the analysis of SAIDI and SAIFI values of Cahaya feeder, as well as how to suppress the value of SAIDI and SAIFI. Realibilty index SAIDI and SAIFI on Cahaya Feeder in the year of 2017 is 2.277 hours/costumers/year dan 2.406 time/costumers/years. That is reliable based on SPLN 59:1985 standard. Cost loss in year of 2017 due to outage on the Cahaya Feeder is IDR 12,794,305,-

Abstract

Power plant distribution by considering load change towards time is the development of conventional power distribution because it calculates the ramp rate unitr parameter of power plant. Power distribution of thermal power plant under the load condition that change toward time is used to determine the optimum generation schedule so that it can fulfill the load demand with minimum operational cost when sharing the limitation of system and operation throughout the whole period of generation. Spinning reserve is also considered in power plant distribution, since spinning reserve is used for maintaining the system’s constraint of each operations. In this case, if one unit of power plant is failed, there must be any capacity that could supply the power from another unit to accomplish such condition that happens within a period. This research uses quadratic programming to accomplish power distribution that calculates load change toward time, thus solve power distribution without trespassing the ramp rate parameter and spinning reserve which has been specified. Three unit of power plants were used in this research with short - term load demand and specified ramp rate . From the analysis of results, it can be seen that quadratic programming is not violate constrain ramp rate of power plant, whilst conventional method can not do the calculation of generation with a ramp rate constraint. The result analysis also shows that generation cost using quadratic programming is cheaper ($46659,49) compared to that of conventional method ($47064,01).
