Abstract

This reseach is aimed at analyzing the effect of workload and compensation on the performance of employees dealing with garbage issue in Mataram. This research is associative study. The data were colleted through stratified random sampling. The population is 172 employees working as garbage carrier in the District Agency of Sanitary of Mataram from which 63 contracted employees were selected as samples. The data were collected through interview, questionnaires ad documentation. The data were analyzed and the hypothesis was tasted using Multiple Liniear Regressions. The research proved that workload had negative and significant effect on the performance of the employees and compensation had positive and significant effect on the performance of the employees.From the questionnaire distributed to respondents, it can be seen that the workload felt by the Mataram City Sanitation Department employees was moderate, and the compensation received is quite appropriate, and the performance achieved was classified as good. The finding showed that effect of workload on employee performance was negative and significant, and the effect of compensation on employee performance is positive and significant.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh beban kerja dan kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan yang menangani masalah sampah di Kota Mataram. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalan penelitian asosiatif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah stratified random sampling. Populasi penelitian ini adalah karyawan pengangkutan sampah pada Dinas Kebersihan Kota Mataram yang berjumlah 172 dengan jumlah sampel 63 karyawan kontrak. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik interview, angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisa data dan uji hipotesis menggunakan Analisis Regresi Linier Berganda. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa beban kerja berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap kinerja dan kompensasi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja.Dari kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada responden, dapat diketahui bahwa beban kerja yang dirasakan oleh para karyawan Dinas Kebersihan Kota Mataram tergolong sedang, dan kompensasi yang diterima tergolong cukup sesuai, serta kinerja yang dicapai tergolong baik. Temuan penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa pengaruh beban kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan adalah negatif dan signifikan, serta pengaruh dari kompensasi terhadap kinerja karyawan adalah positif dan signifikan.Keywords : workload, compensation, performance of employees Kata kunci : Beban Kerja, Kompensasi, Kinerja Karyawan.

Abstract

The most dominant industry in the current era is the clothing industry. Therefore, competition in the world of clothing trade is very competitive. Online marketing is a form of marketing communication that has become a social phenomenon lately. Online shopping is increasingly in demand in Indonesia, it is known that internet users in Indonesia in 2012 reached 55 million people, an increase of 30.9 percent compared to 2011 with a trade value of Rp 30 trillion. In online media, fashion products are the most sought after, such as clothing including accessories and shoes (60.8 percent). This study takes the title of the influence of promotion with celebrity endorse on brand trust and consumer buying interest in the field of women's clothing online shop in Denpasar. The number of samples of this study were 86 respondents taken from consumers who made transactions in Dinda Fashion. Data collection was carried out through interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis was performed using classical assumption test analysis, multiple correlation analysis, coefficient of determination, and partial test (t-test. The results showed that: (1) Promotion with celebrity endorse had a positive and significant effect on consumer buying interest in women's clothing online shop business in Denpasar. (2) Promotion with celebrity endorse has a significant and significant effect on Brand trust in the women's clothing online shop business in Denpasar. (3) Brand trust has an individual positive and significant effect on consumer buying interest in the women's clothing online shop business in Denpasar.  Keywords: Promotion with Celebrity Endorse, Brand trust and Buying Interest.Industri yang paling dominan di era saat ini adalah industry pakaian.Oleh karena itu, persaingan di dunia perdagangan pakaian sangat kompetitif.Pemasaran online merupakan salah satu bentuk komunikasi pemasaran yangmenjadi fenomena sosial belakangan ini. Belanja onlinesemakin diminati di Indonesia, diketahui pengguna internet di Indonesia pada tahun 2012 mencapai 55 juta orang, meningkat 30,9 persen dibanding tahun 2011 dengan nilai perdagangan Rp 30 triliun. Di media online, produk fashionadalah yang paling diminati, seperti pakaian termasuk aksesoris dan sepatu (60,8persen). Penelitian ini mengambil judul pengaruh promosi dengan celebrity endorse terhadap brand trust dan minat beli konsumen pada bidang usaha online shop pakaian perempuan di Denpasar.Jumlah sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 86 responden yang diambil dari konsumen yang melakukan transaksi di Dinda Fashion. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan penyebaran kuesioner. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis uji asumsi klasik, analisis korelasi berganda, koefisien determinasi, dan uji parsial (t-test).Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Promosi dengan celebrity endorse berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara individual terhadap minat beli konsumen pada bidang usaha online shop pakaian perempuan di Denpasar. (2) Promosi dengan celebrity endorse berpengaruh poistif dan signifikan terhadap Brand trust pada bidang usaha online shop pakaian perempuan di Denpasar. (3) Brand trust berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara individual terhadap minat beli konsumen pada bidang usaha online shop pakaian perempuan di Denpasar. Kata kunci: Promosi dengan Celebrity Endorse, Brand trust dan Minat Beli.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze: 1) The effect of overconfidence against debt decision-making on SME’s, 2) The Effect of the illusion of control against debt decision-making on SME’s, 3) The effect of availability against debt decision-making on SME’s.This research is a research-based approach to quantitative, with this type of research is explanatory research. The population of the research was all SME’s that are located on the island of Lombok. The technique of sampling done with Non probability sampling, i.e. using judgement sampling i.e. selecting SME’s engaged in pottery industry and already exports. Of the population, there are 35 (thirty five) SME’s which can be taken as a sample. The respondents in this study was a financial manager at the same time as the owner of each such SME’s. Data collection techniques used in this research is to use the question form. To achieve the research objectives and hypothesis testing, then the data acquired will be processed according to your needs by using statistical tools GSCA (Generalized Structured Component Analysis).The results showed: 1) Overconfidence has no significant effect on decision-making on debt undertaken by owner Managers, 2) Illusion of Control has significant effect on decision-making on debt undertaken by the SME owner managers, 3) Avaibility has no significant effect on decision-making on debt undertaken by the SME owner managers. This shows the SME’s managers in the selection of a rational debt as a source of funding. The rational attitude effected by the characteristics of respondents who was the Manager of the SME’s owner, i.e., the age of majority SME’s managers are still productive ranged from 37 to 54 years of age, mostly female, with a level of education mostly high school and college graduates, as well as long time effort over 10 years. Keywords: overconfidence, illusion of control, avaibility, decision making of debt

Abstract

The objective of the study is to examine the effect of organisational culture, i.e learning and market orientations toward relational capability and business performance of SMEs. The samples were purposively selected in the city of Mataram, they must have at least four employess. They were door-to-door approached during a four-week data collection period. The findings suggested that the orientations strengthen SMEs’ relational capability and performance. Nonetheless, learning orientation does not guarantee better business performance unless the orientation is strongly implemented intofirms’ relational capability. The study provides interesting contributions toward relationship marketing literature by giving evidences regarding the effects of the cultural orientations on SMEs’ relational capability and perfromance.Founding of SMEs should emphasise on the development and implementation of learning and market orientations to improve  their relational capability and performance.Keywords: learning orientation, market orientation, relational capability, business performance

Abstract

This research is aimed at determining the attitude of consumers towards one of the superior products of Mataram city, that is tahu Abian Tubuh. The research is descriptive which using sample survey method. In order to answer the problem proposed, the analytical tool is Ideal-Point Model. The model measures a difference between what is desired and what is perceived by consumers. The result of this study shows that consumer attitudes are very good. It is indicated by attitude value of 13,764 which is lied at the highest interval in linear numerical scale 0 < Ab < 22,56 (very good). It means that the Tahu Abian Tubuh is in accordance with consumer’s desire. Key words: consumer’s attitude, tahu Abian Tubuh.

Abstract

Resources are central to the existence of any organisation, and among these resources, knowledge is recognised as one of the most important. Knowledge can be categorised as explicit or tacit. Explicit knowledge can be articulated, stored independently, and easily communicated. Conversely, tacitknowledge is embedded deep in people’s minds and is not easily shared. Attempts to share can be slow, costly, and uncertain. Although it is acknowledged that there are inherent benefits to tacitknowledge,people, generally, are reluctant to share it because of various barriers. According to prior research,organisational culture is one of the main barriers. This paper proposes a conceptual framework that will facilitate the study of the influence of organisational culture types on tacitknowledge-sharing behaviour.Keywords: Organisational Behaviour, Innovation, Knowledge Management

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) moderated by Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) toward firm value in the period of 2014-2016 by using Moderated Regression Analysis method. The population in this research consists of 25 firms listed in the SRI-KEHATI Index which is an index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, formed by the biodiversity foundation (Kehati) by prioritizing the principles of sustainability and social responsibility.There are 11 firms selected as research samples obtained by purposive sampling technique.The data used are secondary data in the form of company annual report during the study period, which published through website www.idx.co.id. Hypotheses testing are conducted by t-test and F-test. The results showed that GCG did not have a significant effect on firm value as measured by Tobin's Q. Meanwhile, as an independent variable, CSR disclosure gave an insignificant negative effect on firm value.As a moderating variable, CSR was able to strengthen the relationship between GCG and firm value.This is because  CSR disclosure is one form of implementation of GCG, which means if the CSR disclosure getting better, it also will make the GCG better. Eventually, it will affect the change on firm value. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Good Corporate Governance (GCG) yang dimoderasi oleh Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) terhadap nilai perusahaan pada periode 2014-2016 dengan menggunakan metode Moderated Regression Analysis. Populasi dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 25 perusahaan yang terdaftar dalam Indeks SRI-KEHATI yang merupakan indeks di Bursa Efek Indonesia, yang dibentuk oleh yayasan keanekaragaman hayati (Kehati) dengan memprioritaskan prinsip-prinsip keberlanjutan dan tanggung jawab sosial. Ada 11 perusahaan yang dipilih sebagai sampel penelitian yang diperoleh dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder dalam bentuk laporan tahunan perusahaan selama masa studi, yang dipublikasikan melalui situs web www.idx.co.id. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji-t dan uji-F. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa GCG tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan yang diukur dengan Tobin's Q. Sementara itu, sebagai variabel independen, pengungkapan CSR memberikan pengaruh negatif yang tidak signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Sebagai variabel moderasi, CSR mampu memperkuat hubungan antara GCG dan nilai perusahaan. Hal ini karena pengungkapan CSR adalah salah satu bentuk penerapan GCG, yang berarti jika pengungkapan CSR semakin baik, maka juga akan membuat GCG lebih baik. Abstract

This study is aimed to find out an alternative strategies of creative industry development of pearl jewelry craft sector in Mataram city. The research uses descriptive research design. The data collected by interview and observation methods which is analyzed by using Internal Factor Analysis (IFE), External Factor Analysis (EFE), and SWOT analysis. The results shows that the internal environment of the industry has a strong position where the strength has a total value of 2.46 compared to the weakness of 0.64. The industry’s position of the outside environment also has strong position where the industry ‘s opportunity has a total value of 1.80 versus threat 1.04. Based on the value of IFE and EFE can be obtained coordinate point in the axis system is 0.91,0.38. Abstract

This study aimed at analyzing how the results of the Grover, Springate and Zmijewski models predict the bankruptcy of PT Citra Maharlika Nusantara Corpora Tbk for the period of June 2013 - September 2016. This study also aimed at measuring the accuracy of the bankruptcy prediction model and determined which predictive model of the three models was the most accurate. From the data analysis, it was found that Springate model was the most accurate prediction model with 100% accuracy rate to predict the bankruptcy of PT Citra Maharlika Nusantara Corpora Tbk compared to the Grover model with an accuracy rate of 71.48% and Zmijewski model with the lowest accuracy rate of 21.48%. The limitations of this study was this study only carried out in one company, thus in the future it is expected that the model will be tested in more than one company and type of business sector.Keywords: Financial Distress, Grover, Springate, Zmijewski ModelsPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana hasil dari model Grover, Springate dan Zmijewski dalam memprediksi kebangkrutan PT Citra Maharlika Nusantara Corpora Tbk periode Juni 2013 – September 2016 serta mengukur tingkat akurasi model prediksi kebangkrutan tersebut dan menentukan model prediksi manakah diantara ketiga model tersebut yang paling akurat. Model Springate menjadi model prediksi paling akurat dengan tingkat akurasi 100% untuk memprediksi kebangkrutan PT Citra Maharlika Nusantara Corpora Tbk dibandingakan dengan model Grover dengan tingkat akurasi 71,48% dan model Zmijewski dengan tingkat akurasi paling rendah sebesar 21,48%.Keterbatasan penelitian ini terletak pada pengujian model pada satu perusahaan di satu unit sektor usaha, kedepan bisa dilakukan pengujian pada berbagai jenis sektor usaha.Kata kunci: Financial Distress, Model Grover, Springate, Zmijewski

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the workload of each work unit and the category of human resources (HR), analyze the number and HR competencies of each work unit and to analyze the types of human resource development needed by the Highways Department of the Public Works and Spatial Planning ( PUPR) West Nusa Tenggara Province (NTB). The population in this study were all employees who worked on the Highways Sector of the PUPR Provincial Office of NTB Province which numbered 49 people. The population in this study were all employees working in the Highways Division of the Public Works Department of West Nusa Tenggara Province with documentation techniques, questionnaires, in-depth interviews and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) as the data collection methods used. The data analysis technique used in this study is WISN (Workload Indicators of Staffing Need). The results showed that the workload for each unit in the Highways Sector of the PUPR Office of NTB Province was still not optimal, there were a shortage of human resources of 34 people consisting of 24 (twenty four) technical personnel and 10 (ten) non-technical personnel, as well as still need HR development to improve HR competencies. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis beban kerja masing-masing unit kerja dan kategori sumber daya manusia (SDM), menganalisis kebutuhan jumlah dan kompetensi SDM masing-masing unit kerja dan untuk menganalisis jenis pengembangan SDM yang dibutuhkan Bidang Bina Marga Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (PUPR) Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB). Populasi pada penelitian iniadalah seluruh karyawan yang bekerja pada Bidang Bina Marga Dinas PUPR Provinsi NTB yang berjumlah 49 orang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan yang bekerja pada Bidang Bina Marga Dinas PUPR Provinsi NTB dengan teknik dokumentasi, angket, wawancara mendalam (Indepth Interview), dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) sebagai metode pengumpulan data yang di gunakan.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah WISN (Workload Indicators of Staffing Need). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beban kerja pada setiap unit pada Bidang Bina Marga Dinas PUPR Provinsi NTB masih belum optimal, terdapat kekurangan SDM sejumlah 34 orang yang terdiri dari 24   orang tenaga teknis dan 10 orang tenaga non teknis, serta masih membutuhkan pengembangan SDM untuk peningkatan kompetensi SDM.Keywords:Workload, Human Resource Needs, Workload Indicators of Staffing Need (WISN), Needs Assesement.
