Abstract

Universities are still in the process of transitioning to the global level; therefore universities require autonomy, accountability, legitimacy, and credibility. The backwardness of the education sector must be pursued by improving the education system, and higher education as an organization must be able to adapt to these changes so as not to suffer from increasingly fierce competition. One significant effort is to reform education through innovation and creativity. Consequently, the above needs and the objectives of implementing higher education, it requires that the management of higher education institutions be carried out professionally. This can be realized when the college has an excellent strategic management plan because with proper planning the organization will be able to walk towards achieving its goals and sustainability, as well as the function of the institution as a protected educational institution. The implementation of higher education based on stakeholders inevitably must have a plan for a sustainable organizational and educational activity strategy, in accordance with the conditions of the internal environment and the external environment (competition with similar universities, regulators, inflation/ economic conditions, etc.) so that universities always have excellence competitiveness, added value and differentiation to satisfy stakeholders, which in turn make the acceptance of higher education continuously exist, respected and needed by the community.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze about: 1) Principal planning in developing multicultural Islamic religious education in the 1 Kademangan Vocational High School (SMKN). 2) The process of organizing school principals in applying multicultural Islamic religious education at 1 Kademangan Vocational High School. 3) Implementation Procedure of the principal in developing multicultural Islamic religious education at 1 Kademangan Vocational High School. 4) Control of principals in developing multicultural Islamic religious education in 1 Kademangan Vocational High School. The type of research conducted is qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach. This study focuses on managerial competencies of principals in developing multicultural Islamic religious education in 1 Kademangan Vocational High School. For data collection techniques, researchers conduct interviews, documentation and direct observation. While the analysis of the data used in this study is the data analysis technique of the Spradley model or better known as Cyclic mode. The results found by researchers in the field are planning processes, goals must be made clearly because it is used as a guideline for activities that reinforce the direction and effort of activities and facilitate in obtaining the support of resources and competencies in both the organization and the environment. Organizing is organized on the basis of predetermined objectives and formal formal mechanisms in the organizational structure that reflect the needs and optimization of existing resources in a good organization. At the stage of implementing the communication skills of the school principal also determines the course of effective management. The supervision process becomes an important part that is directly related to considering changes in procedures, policies, and even organizational goals.

Abstract

The head of the madrasa is the leader of educational institutions responsible for the management of educational institutions such as educational activities, madrasa administration, fostering teaching and education staff, and utilization and maintenance of facilities and infrastructure. The purpose of this study is to find out and describe: in increasing the competence of educators and education staff, 2) The process of implementing the principal's strategy in improving the competence of educators and education staff. 3) The implications of implementing the program enhance the competence of educators and education staff. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. For data collection techniques, researchers conduct interviews, documentation and direct observation. Meanwhile, to confirm, researchers used data triangulation techniques. The results found by researchers in the field are: 1) The strategy process carried out by the head of the madrasah by observing the needs of educators and education, planning the implementation of the program, evaluating the planned program, 2) The process of implementing the program, namely the head of the madrasa prepares a program in the form of seminars, workshops, training, technical guidance and training in the workplace, 3) Impacts obtained by program participants are increased knowledge, increased skills possessed and having connections outside of educational institutions

Abstract

Teacher competency enhancement must be carried out by the head of the madrasah continuously so that teacher competency always increases and the teacher becomes a great and qualified teacher. The objectives of this study include; 1) Describe the headmaster's efforts in improving the competence of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Maarif 02 Singosari teachers. 2) Description of the supporting and inhibiting factors that affect the head of the madrasah in enhancing the competence of teachers of the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Maarif 02 Singosari. To achieve the above objectives, the researcher used a qualitative approach with a type of descriptive research. The location of this study was conducted at MI Al-Maarif 02 Singosari Malang. The informants in this study were the head of the madrasa and the class teacher. The technique of collecting data uses interviews and documentation. To analyze the author's data using qualitative descriptive analysis. The findings of this study are: 1) the head of the madrasa conducts an effort that is formally done namely by Rutinan Meetings, includes training, teacher training and seminars, inter-teacher / KKG group studies, supervision and class visits and Conducting Assessments, while non-formal activities are by familiarizing discipline and always providing motivation with the aim of increasing the teacher's insight, providing opportunities for teachers to improve the spirit of discipline and teacher skills,2) Supporting factors affecting the madrasah head in increasing teacher competency are the fulfillment of madrasah infrastructure that is fulfilled, enthusiastic and enthusiastic about the teachers participating in the training, and the support of the foundation while the inhibiting factors faced by the madrasa principals are; the head of the madrasa itself and the teacher who is not in the madrasa.

Abstract

. Financing is one of the keys to implementing an education. One source of funding sourced from the government is the School Operational Assistance (BOS) program. The purpose of this study was to: (1) describe the distribution of BOS funds in the education of Islamic boarding schools in the Ministry of Religion Office in Malang Regency, (2) explain the supervision of BOS funding in Islamic boarding school education, (3) describe the implications of BOS funding in improving quality Islamic boarding school education. This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of case study research. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data is analyzed by reducing relevant data, describing and drawing conclusions. The results showed that, (1) the distribution of funding for BOS funds in the education of Islamic boarding schools in the Malang Ministry of Religion Office was carried out in accordance with the flow, (2) supervision of BOS funding in improving the quality of Islamic boarding school education was carried out according to the time of disbursement at the time of reporting of BOS funds, namely by direct and indirect supervision, (3) Implications of BOS funds in improving the education quality of Islamic boarding schools, namely: improving student achievement and learning outcomes and increasing teacher welfare.

Abstract

More and more quality schools have created intense competition in the management of educational institutions. To be able to compete, the school branding strategy is very important for schools primarily in private schools. SDIT Al-Furqan and SMPIT Al-Ghazalii Palangka Raya became the location of the study because it is one of the private schools that offers quality oriented to Islam, and has made rapid progress with various advantages, incised many achievements both in academic and non-academic terms, increasing number of participants each year. The problem raised in this study is how to plan public relations strategy, how to implement the public relations management strategy and how the results of implementing the public relations management strategy in creating School Branding in both schools. This study aims to describe and analyze the planning of public relations management strategies, implementation of the public relations management strategy and how the results of its implementation in creating School Branding at SDIT Al-Furqan and SMPIT Al-Gazali Palangka Raya, and to offer a concept of public relations management strategies in creating School Branding at Integrated Islamic schools. The study was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach, data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation studies. The main subjects are principals, public relations, parents of students, heads of administration, teachers, and the community. The results of this study reveal that: 1) Public relations management strategy planning is designed and organized together with principals, divisions and public relations by considering all aspects until the school brand can reach the community, 2) Implementation of public relations management strategies carried out in accordance with the schedule organized by conducting promotions and publications in print media, electronic media, and social media, as well as communicating and socializing directly to the public, 3) The results of the public relations management strategy can be seen in the indicators of the success of schools becoming well-known in the community, creating a positive image for school, students increase every new school year, become a favorite and superior school.

Abstract

There are no stupid people; there are people who do not know or are late to know. It is best for leaders to humanize humans, provide motivation, give opportunities for creativity to emerge, cultivate them according to their capacity so that innovation and their imagination do not sleep. A good leader will not look for mistakes blindly, or blame in public. Angry in public is killing human characters. The implication is that they will be quiet and lazy to innovate because there is no appreciation. So that they just become obedient and say it's up to the leader. Leaders who are imprisoned in respect and appreciation only will feel happy to be respected and respected even though it is another name for the sleeping of subordinate creativity. The worse is the top down instruction model leader who is an admirer of the institutional hierarchy who places a leader as the highest authority in the management area, so he always feels right, and taboo to be criticized and blamed. Apologies, ask for help, thank you for never coming out in verbal linguistics. There are only procedures, concepts, rigid instructions that are haram to be criticized. Therefore it is necessary to revitalize leadership in the madrasa.

Abstract

Learning of Islamic religious education in Junior High School is very important because as learning to improve, obedient to God. Therefore, the level of teacher performance in Islamic religious education should be improved. One of the ways to improve the performance of teachers is with supervision or supervisory activities. Using the approach, training, and guidance done by PAIS supervisors so the improvement of PAI teacher performance will increase. The purpose of this study is to: (1) describe the work program of supervisors in improving the performance of Islamic religious education teachers in junior high school in Kepanjen subdistrict at the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Malang Regency (2) describe the implementation of supervisory work program in improving teacher performance PAI SMP scope in Kepanjen subdistrict at Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Malang Regency (3) describe causes and solutions faced by supervisors in the implementation of supervisory work programs in improving the performance of teachers PAI scope of Junior High School in Kepanjen subdistrict at the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Malang Regency. To achieve the above objectives is using a qualitative research approach with the type of case study research. The key instrument is PAIS Supervisor at the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Malang Regency, and data collection techniques that used are observation, interview, and documentation. Data was analyzed by reducing irrelevant data, exposing data and drawing the conclusion. The result of the research indicates that (1) One of program worked of supervisor is the semester of program and program refers to basic assignment and the function of teacher that make the basic of result identification in the supervision was done and planed with group supervision together (2) Implementing of work programs supervisors in Kepanjen subdistrict namely individuals and groups (3) Implementing of supervisory work program in Kecamatan Kepanjen has various problems both the problem individually and in the groups, but with the regulation of supervisors can faced the problem with various solutions.

Abstract

Work effectiveness is the degree of achievement of an organization's goals based on the activities carried out. Work effectiveness is influenced by various factors including leadership, internal communication. The research objectives are: (1) to determine whether there is the influence of leadership and internal communication on work effectiveness (2) to find out how much influence leadership and internal communication have on employee work effectiveness both simultaneously and partially. The population of this study was employees of the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang; it is 90 people. There are three variables studied in this study, namely: (1) leadership (2) internal communication (3) work effectiveness. Data collection methods used are questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis method used is the descriptive analysis of percentages and multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS for Windows Release 16. Based on the descriptive analysis, the percentage of leadership is 84.24% (very good category), the level of internal communication is 86% (very good category), while the level of work effectiveness is 78.78% (good category). Based on the calculation of multiple linear regression analysis also obtained F calculate of 17,234 with a significance of 0,000. Because the price of significance obtained is less than 0.05, the regression model obtained is significant. This means that the working hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, that is, there is the influence of leadership and internal communication on work effectiveness. The magnitude of the effect is simultaneously 28.4% while partially is 16% for leadership variables and 5.29% for internal communication. Based on the results of research, leadership and internal communication have a positive influence on work effectiveness. Leadership has a greater influence than internal communication.

Abstract

Literacy is identified with reading and writing activities. With the passage of time literacy activities not only read and write. Literacy is defined as the ability to support, challenge, create, communicate and count using printed material and writing related to various contexts. Literacy that supports learning is literacy that allows individuals to achieve what they want to know, develop their knowledge and talents and support their participation in the community. This study aims to describe the management of the development of literacy culture, the implementation of the development of a culture of literacy and the evaluation of literacy culture development programs in MTs Negeri Kota Batu. This research uses qualitative with descriptive research types. The data sources used are primary and secondary. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman analysis models. The results show the management carried out by the MTs Negeri Kota Batu under the coordination of the kepala madrasah and supported by the deputy of kepala madrasah in the fields of curriculum, infrastructure, public relations and financing. Not only that, for the success of the school management program, it also involves the madrasah committee. The implementation of the program in the form of habituating the dhuha prayer and reading Al-Qur’an, the habit of silent reading before learning, holding reading corners, programming the language of the month, and scientific writing training for teacher in collaboration with universities in Malang. Program evaluation carried out by the madrasah management is still anticipatory action. Its consideration is that the program is just implemented.
