Abstract

In this paper, we discuss the elements of fraud diamond theory against indications of earnings management in Indonesia's financing firms for the year 2014 to 2018. The independent variables are financial stability, institutional ownership, audit quality, effective monitoring, auditor changes, ratio total accruals to total assets, change of directors, and independent board of commissioners, while the dependent variable used is the manipulation of financial statements proxied by earnings management. This study used 75 samples taken from 15 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2018. This research was conducted with quantitative methods using secondary data. Data analysis uses multiple regression models based on panel data, using firm size, leverage and firm age as a control variable. The results indicate that there are three important variables in the analysis of financial manipulation, those are financial stability, ratio total accruals to total assets, and a number of independent commissioners. These variables represent three elements in the diamond fraud theory, financial stability which is presenting pressure, ratio total accruals to total assets representing rationalization, and a number of independent commissioners presenting competency.

Abstract

Global warming and environmental damage are some of the important current issues, which lead to the implementation of environmentally-friendly style of living. This study aims to identify the influence of environmental concern, green perceived knowledge, and green trust on green purchase intention. The population of this research was people who live in Jabodetabek. This study used online questionnaire and got responses from 300 respondents. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 22. The independent variables were environmental concern, green perceived knowledge, and green trust. The dependent variable was green purchase intention. This study concludes that there were positive and significant influences of environmental concern, green perceived knowledge and green trust on green purchase intention. The result of this study may be useful for the government to provide information on environmentally-friendly products, and also to provide recommendation for marketers in deciding on what products to produce.

Abstract

Indonesian health industry predicted will rapidly develop in the next five years.  Indonesia health spending spending will reach US $ 60.6 billion over the period 2012-2018. PT. X, a company in the health industry, has significant growth and widely spread 18 branches all over Indonesia. Therefore, the business sustainability of PT. X needs to be continuously maintained and improved.  In accordance with the company's vision ?became a national referral center clinical laboratory?, keeping a good performance as well as business sustainability, PT. X need to maintain a company performance and health of their organization. A questionnaire referring to nine element McKinsey Organizational Health Index was applied to assess PT.X organization health. The OHI score obtained from the survey shows that PT X is quite healthy due to surpass the threshold of a healthy organization. It is recommended that organizational behaviour improvement refers to market focus basic model; achieving excellent performance for maintaining business sustainability.

Abstract

Every year, the number of bachelor of education in Indonesia is increased. On the other hand, the amount of job vacancy for bachelor of education in schools as teachers is lower because of the number of teachers who retire less. This makes many bachelors of education look at other jobs in the field of non-formal education as tutoring. Motivations that encourage bachelor of education to enter the world of tutoring are the desire to share their knowledge, obtain adequate welfare (salary), the job as a teacher in school that increased, and the competition to graduate as civil servant teachers is increasingly high. Proof of being a good employee in tutoring can be done with performance motivation that supports quality improvement as a human resource.

Abstract

This study is focused on the relationship between advertising promotion strategies and customer loyalty in the modern market. This study seeks to explain the advertising promotion strategy if successfully carried out by the modern market, with the hope of creating loyal customers. This research was conducted on modern market customers in Ciamis. Ciamis is one of the regions in Indonesia, which is the same as other regions there are several modern markets with a variety of character of its customers. The study is based on the statements of several experts, which explain the customer relationship with various retail business promotion strategies. The model used in this study as an analysis tool is simple regression to illustrate how the relationship between advertising promotion strategies and customer loyalty. The results obtained are that there is an influence of advertising promotion strategies on customer loyalty, with the magnitude of influence is 27.5%, while as many as 22.5% are influenced by other factors not examined in this study

Abstract

The transformation to digital companies must be carried out by Telkomsel according to Gerhard Berhold, 2019 there are 5 basic things why companies must transform to digital; Increased customer demand, higher procurement competencies, growing competition, fast pace, new technology. Digital technology that has not been well anticipated causes the company's revenue to decline. This research will see whether the transformation carried out by Telkomsel is going well. Using John Kotter's theory in his book 8 Steps Process for Leading Change. The results obtained are all the steps that have been done well by Telkomsel, except for one step which is to formulate and socialize the vision of transformation.

Abstract

The travel industry in Indonesia is still very attractive, especially when considering the large population of Indonesia and the growing value trend of the travel market. However, the development of information technology and the internet has had an impact on the proliferation of Online Travel Agencies (OTA), resulting in high levels of competition in the travel industry. Traditional travel companies must continue to innovate to maintain their presence in the competition. This research was conducted to analyze the competitive conditions of the travel industry in Indonesia, a case study at Airlangga Travel company. The research method uses Porter and SWOT analysis. The results of the study are recommendations for differentiation strategies for Airlangga Travel in order to survive in the intense competition of the travel business
