Abstract

Initially, pesantren is a simple religious boarding school, without systematic teaching. Nowdays, pesantren developed in such a way, either in the form of physical and system curriculum concepts. Its existence equip madrasah or college classical format. Restore the function and role of schools in national education.Reveal the purpose of this research is the management concept of the ideal model of integrative education and Viewing the relationship between management education models integrated with the achievement of the National Education held at Darul Muttaqien boarding school and Al-Karimiyah, West Java. This study used a qualitative approach to the design multicase. The technique of collecting data through interviews, participant observation and documentation. The results of this study indicate that integrative education conducted in schools that promote a very significant aspect of morality. Style education schools that emphasize a balance between science and morality will make an intelligence generation, virtuous and moral. Integrative Islamic Education seeks combines two things that is still treated dichotomacally, namely to harmonize the relationship revelation re-sense, which is dichotomacally treatment of both has resulted in the separation of religious knowledge with general knowledge. Management education in Darul Muttaqien and Al Karimiyah Muttaqien still maintaining the purity of its original identity as a place steeped in religious sciences (tafaqquh fiddin) through the classics (yellow book) written by the scholars medieval. However, in both educational boarding school is not just focused on the classics (read: religious knowledge), but also include general subjects and skills. Abstract

Ikhtiar Ali Syariati untuk membangun konstruksi keilmuan sosiologi Islam ternyata kemudian membawanya untuk bersentuhan dengan dunia pendidikan. Bahwa problem dikhotomi ilmu pengetahuan itu harus diselesaikan melalui upaya serius merekontruksi dunia pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap relevansi pemikiran sosiologi Islam Ali Syariati dengan problematika pendidikan Islam di Indonesia. Paling tidak ada 4 (empat) pertanyaan penelitian yang diajukan; pertama, apa yang menjadi landasan pemikiran sosiologi Islam Ali Syariati ?; kedua, apa yang telah dihasilkan dalam pemikiran sosiologi Islam Ali Syariati ?; ketiga, apa yang menjadi problematika pendidikan Islam di Indonesia ?; dan, keempat, bagaimana relevansi pemikiran sosiologi Ali Syariati dengan problematikan pendidikan Islam di Indonesia ?Untuk menjawab pertanyaan penelitian tersebut, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan metode library research. Hasilnya, peneliti menemukan 4 (empat) temuan, yaitu; pertama, pemikiran sosiologi Islam Ali Syariati yang didasari oleh Tauhid sangat relevan dengan upaya peneguhan menjadikan tauhid sebagai basis dan praksis pendidikan Islam di Indonesia; kedua, pemikiran sosiologi Islam Ali Syariati relevan sekali dengan upaya umat Islam dan bangsa Indonesia dalam mengembangkan pendidikan karakter; ketiga, pemikiran sosiologi islam Ali Syariati ini memberi alternative solusi dan pemerkayaan  bagi pendidikan Islam di Indonesia untuk terus melakukan islamisasi ilmu pengetahuan; keempat, relevansinya dengan upaya membangun pendidikan Islam di Indonesia yang harus terus diorientasikan dengan aksi, sehingga mendorong terjadinya perubahan yang berkesinambungan, baik untuk dunai pendidikan, keilmuan, dan kehidupan masyarakat dan kebudayaan.

Abstract

Vocational School (SMK; Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan) is an educational unit that aims to generate graduates all set to the workforce. Thus, the success of learning process in the School will affect the success in the future workforce. One of the problems facing on education field is the poor quality of the students character, since the character education is a major task on education at the same time is the mandate of the National Education System. SMK Plus Bina Teknologi Ibadurrahman YLPI Sukabumi (Engineering Vocational School Ibadurrahman YLPI Plus Sukabumi) is one of many schools that cares about the character education boarding-school-based. This study aims to determine the goals, curriculum, programs, methods and evaluation tools on character education and its implications for the students of Engineering Vocational School Ibadurrahman YLPI Plus Sukabumi. The study also aims to formulate the concept of character education boarding-school-based which can be implemented in the other Vocational School. The approach used is qualitative by using the students of Engineering Vocational School Ibadurrahman YLPI Plus Sukabumi as respondents. The main data collection techniques are questionnaires to students and observation and in-depth interviews with school administrators. The analysis technique is qualitative analysis which is the sensitivity of researcher becomes the most dominant element. The results of study in the field showed that the goal of character education in Engineering Vocational School Ibadurrahman YLPI Plus Sukabumi is to foster students to be virtuous human (Muttaqien) intelligent, noble and have the skills and interests for the benefit of mankind, by having ten characters. In addition, they are also required to achieve a goal that is both social and spiritual. The curriculum that is used, not only containing of the field of exacts, social, personality, and religion, but also integrated with the curriculum of boarding school. So that the program which organized by boarding school activities can be adjusted in line with the main goals of Vocational School system in general. The method used consists of a variety of methods with emphasis on methods of habituation. The evaluation tools used are in writing and not writing. At the side of the implications of the character education boarding-school-based is still weak, this shows by the evident from the number of students who have not yet established character which means they are lacking consistency. Based on these findings, the managers of the institutions should be aware of the decline in the character of their student. Therefore, it is recommended to organize a design of planning for character education in the future, since the vocational students will be in going to the workforce. On the other hand, the concept of character education should be emphasized to honesty, trust, self-awareness, love, affection, courteous, polite, patient, disciplined, independent, humble, and hard working.

Abstract

Langgulung is an expert on Muslim education, in which he asserted that the source of the main runway and the Islamic education curriculum is Islamic teachings (al-Qur?n and as-Sunnah). However, Langgulung is not a person who shut to use the source in addition to Islam, to the extent that relevant sources and does not conflict with the main runway. Therefore, one of the cornerstone of Islamic education curriculum arrangement is the one of the implementations of the alignment is the adjustment with the development of science. This indicates the existence of a dynamic and open in the thought of Langgulung. View of dynamic of education curriculum implications in an effort renewal curriculum that didn’t outdated, so always up to date. The journal is a library research. Data writing techniques emphasize text analysis and study, library research is done by collecting literature related to research material, whether in the form of books, magazines, articles or opinions and the primary book in this research is the book of Man and Education: A Psychological Analysis and Education, Principles of Islamic Education, Islamic Education and Civilization, Creativity and Islamic Education: Analysis of Psychology and Philosophy, Islamic Education Faces the 21st Century, Some Thoughts on Islamic Education by Hasan Langgulung. According to Hasan Langgulung; humans are essentially created to carry out the duty of service to the creator (‘abdullah) and his duty as the caliph of Allah (Khal?fatullah) on the face of the earth. The purpose in humans with the religion of Islam is: (1) so that humans carry out their functions as caliphs, and (2) so that humans always serve God. The purpose of this human formation will intersect with the objectives of Islamic religious education, because education is basically to reach people of faith and charity.

Abstract

The Army Mental Building is an institution within the Army that has duties and obligations to build mental Soldiers, civil servants and their family to realize moral superiority, solidity and professionalism of the soldiers. In developing mental coaching, Indonesian army has been to try and make the various models in order to develop a better system. However, in reality, there are many elements of the army (especially in the Military District that be focus of research) that perform actions incompatible with the moral religion and the state. The main cause is less appropriate to the circumstances and the root of the problem in education and Islamic mental spiritual building. Therefore, if someone understands well about Islam, so he will be able to behave more polite, away from bad practice (munkar) and avoid violence to not abuse all the mandate to be implemented. Islamic Mental Spiritual building is only done as contained in the document published by the Army Mental Development Department, which contains the teachings of Islam. Nearly 80% of it is the procedure of worship. The remaining are monotheistic doctrine. In addition, the system uses only speech teaching and not use any other study. Educational media are still using conventional systems. Therefore, there is need for improvement in the Islamic mental spiritual building, especially in the field of matter, teachers, systems and tools used. The materials presented on theology and morals should be taught critically by showing some indications, not used as a doctrine to be followed. This is related to the maturity level of the members of the Indonesian Army. The teachers have to follow a specified curriculum and researched as needed. On the other hand, teachers should be using some interesting methods. System lesson that had only the general should be converted into structured in terms of time, place and participants. It can enhance the understanding of the army. In addition, all members must follow it continuously without having to be disturbed by other activities that are not urgent. On the other hand is Duty of Devision Head of Islamic mental building (Kasibinrohis) to improve the competence of educators who owned so the more creative and innovative. Kasibinrohis should also always carry good coordination by the Command and other units, so that all programs can be realized by well-planned. Kasibinrohis also need to enhance cooperation with the surrounding community. This is necessary because the public also has an influence on the religious attitude of the army and the civil servants especially in the Army Military District. Kasibinrohis should also pay attention critics, suggestions and feedback from the soldiers, all of which can be used as a improvement of the system for the evaluation of mental Building, especially in the Army Military District.

Abstract

The formulations of the problems of this research are: how does the educational pattern of thinking of A. Malik Fadjar? What are the indicators of educational thinking of A. Malik Fadjar? What do the factors contribute to the educational thinking of A. Malik Fadjar? And how is the relevance of educational thinking of A. Malik Fadjar with educational praxis? The aims of this research are to reveal and to find the educational thinking/ideas of A. Malik Fadjar. This research employed a qualitative design by investigating data from the writing of A. Malik Fadjar and others’ original writing about A. Malik Fadjar. The data collected is then described holistically, comprehensively, and systematically, which is then analyzed by social history approach of Islamic educational thinking, i.e. an approach observing background of the emergence of the thinking with factors affecting it and the relevance of the thinking for the present and future time to locate conceptual and substantive ideas and thinking. The research concludes that A. Malik Fadjar has a modern-religious pattern of thinking. Modern, because his thinking is oriented to the present and future time, always accepts the changes, open-minded, innovative and progressive. Religious, because of his family background, education, and also his organization culture are based on Islamic values. His pattern of thinking is shown by his vision, mission, and aims of education, curriculum, human resources, institution, and educational management. This thinking is emerged affected by both internal and external factors. From internal, the factors affected his thinking are educational background, personality and family. While from external, the factors are environment, job position, and socio-political situation in his era. Lastly, educational thinking of A. Malik Fadjar is still relevant to apply to the present and future time.Keywords: A. Malik Fajar, education concept, Islamic education

Abstract

Marriage is one of Allahs command execution. and the Sunnah of Muhammad SAW. However, very few people know about it. For the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia through the District Office of Religious Affairs has been providing services courses bride is the provision of a stock of knowledge, understanding and skills of the domestic life / family. The bride is the basis of the convening of the course; Regulation of the Director General of Islamic Community Guidance No. DJ.II / 491 in 2009. The conclusion that the implementation of the course curriculum bride in Karawang Religious Affairs Office has not carried out systematically. This is due to the lack of a model or guide that can be used as a reference implementation. Therefore, to address this problem researchers offer a model curriculum-based lessons bride harmonious family to KUA in Karawang. Abstract

The drug abuse in Indonesia is becoming worse, which is indicated by the more abusers as the victims. Globalisation era easily enables people gain their necessities; drug as one of those tempting; especially the young generations, which makes them as the addicts. The worst thing of being an addict is that he tends to violate the norms in societies even the laws. A drug abuser is anybody uses drugs without any legal rights and against the laws, while an addict is anyone misuses and experiences addiction to the drugs either physically or psychologically. Islamic Boarding of Suralaya is a specific boarding for juvenile delinquency and drug addicts rehabilitation center. It was initiated by a moslem charismatic clergyman, KH. Shohibul Wafa Tajul Arifin who was during his life had contributed to the state and goverment in assisting to prevent the drug abuse in Indonesia. The Mental Rehabilitation center is named as Pondok Inabah which applies Inabah methods, by bathing, praying and dzikir (contemplating). This reaearch is a case study with a qualitative descriptive approach which focuses on the islamic methods of drug abuse prevention of juvenile and supported by primary and secondary sources of data. This research findings theoritically infer that the Inabah therapy method is islamic educational methods with spiritual approaches which are covered in an integratated, strictly and consistently applied curriculum; an effort to rehabilitate the drug abuse victims by tazkiyatun nafsi (individually purifying) in the practices of repentant bathe, prayers, and contemplation. Inabah theraphy, scientifically could be analogized as the sublimity theory in psychoanalysis by Sigmund Freud; by distracting negative energy/ libido urges to positive energy or decent deeds, which, he compared, is more productive to other mental defenses. This, yet differ with moslem psychologists such as Ibnu Sina-Avecina, Malik Badri, and Muhammad Utsman Najati who explained the importance of the spiritual dimension in reconciliating the addicts’ mentality, so that the practices of prayers and contemplation become the islamic sublimity methods. The results of the islamic education with spiritual approaches will provide a moslem an alternative solution in the efforts of preventing the drug abuse victims by rehabilitating the patients’ mentality to return to the paths of Allah’s SWT favour.Keyword: Inabah, Pendidikan Islam, Penyalahgunaan Narkoba, Remaja

Abstract

Rendahnya kualitas pembelajaran merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang dihadapi dunia pendidikan sekarang ini, seperti pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Pada Proses pembelajaran pendidikan agama yang terjadi biasanya bersifat seadanya, formalitas, rutinitas, dan kurang bermakna. Dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran pendidikan agama adalah dengan memperbaiki kualitas pembelajaran, yaitu melalui Metode Active learning. rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah apakah pelaksanaan metode active learning dalam pembelajaran agama Islam dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa SDIT Al Hikmah dan serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pelaksanakan metode active learning pada siswa SDIT Al Hikmah. Penelitian ini deskripsi pelaksanaan metode active learning untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa pada pembelajaran agama Islam SDIT Al Hikmah serta untuk mendeskripsikan faktor pendukung dan penghambat penerapan metode active learning di dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa pada pembelajaran agama Islam SDIT Al Hikmah. Penelitian ini bersifat field research (penelitian lapangan) dengan sumber data dari siswa, guru PAI, wakil kepala sekolah, kepala sekolah dan pelaksanaan metode active learning dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa serta dokumen di SDIT Al Hikmah. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, interview, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah deduktif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pelaksanaan metode active learning mempengaruhi dalam peningkatkan pemahaman siswa kelas SDIT Al Hikmah, sehingga siswa aktif dalam kelas dan dapat memahami pendidikan agama Islam dengan metode yang menarik dan tidak membosankan. Hal tersebut ditandai dengan naiknya nilai siswa secara cukup signifikan. faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pelaksanaan metode active learning yaitu diskusi kelompok.

Abstract

In the world of education methodologies play a major role in developing education. One is the methodology that explored guidance directly from the Qur’an. Reality on the ground shows that the implementation of education at every institution of Islamic education is less build philosophy and the foundation of Islamic education which scientifically refers to the Quran, so that akhlak education has not been implicated in both the concepts of Islamic education. As a result, the implementation of education at every educational institution does not make faith as the core of all educational activities that result in graduates do not have strong faith. This study uses literature review sourced from literature, both primary and secondary. In practice, researchers collected qualitative data that figured that described for later analysis. This research was around issues of moral education that takes the Koran as the ground, where the terms not be separated from interpretation. In this case the interpretation method used was thematic approach to interpretation, that interpretation maudûi, supported also by the interpretation and commentary ijmali and tahlili. This method is very adequate to assist researchers in finding the concept. As for analyzing the problem, the author uses inductive thinking, namely the synthesis of thinking which departs from the facts, data, cases and knowledge of a special nature, leading to general conclusions. This mindset is used to analyze the meaning of a text thoroughly and critically. The results of this study concluded that the methodology used in the Quran stresses character education through research on the verses that were lafadz Ya ayyuhâ al-ladzîna Âmanu is the method of the command, method restrictions, method targhîb, and tarhîb, with all its meaning. The methodology used commands and prohibitions of the Quran is at once set contemplates the good and true, and these methods also determine a benchmark of evils and abuses, these distinctive according to researchers. While the methodology is a method tarhîb and targhîb and supporters of the two previous methods. Methods targhîb and tarhîb in the process is more evocative work heart and soul of man as an essential component in human moral education. Methods tarhîb or targhîb in akhlak education is an educational method that can provide a sense of serving in the role of the appearance of al-Raja and al-Khauf, namely fear and hope to God that which both feel is important in the effort to build a good akhlak character. While the implementation of character education methodology derived from the Qur’an are in the world of education today, especially akhlak education, could be absorbed into the educational curriculum based on understanding of curriculum development at this time. Curriculum to accommodate the methodology in akhlak education, therefore, must first define and sort out the content set forth goodness and truth then inserted to these methods.Keywords: Ayat-ayat al-Qur’an, Pendidikan akhlak, orang-orang yang beriman
