Abstract

Electrocardiograph (ECG) is a recorder of human heart signals with signal output on a monitor or graph paper. The ECG records the measurement of the electrical activity of the heart from the surface of the body by a set of electrodes that are installed in such a way that reflects the tapping point activity. The pattern of ECG output signals in one heartbeat produces a pattern with a peak point P, Q, R, S and T or QRS complex. ECG signal waveform results were analyzed using Learning Vector Quantization (LVQ) Artificial Neural Networks, and grouped into two classes, namely normal and abnormal heart patterns. The normal heart condition that is trained is a medically normal heart categorized as healthy as 10 data, while an abnormal heart (Heart, Coronary Heart, and Aortic Regurgutation) is 20 data. The LVQ method recognizes the input pattern based on the proximity of the two vectors, namely the vector of the input unit or neuron with the weight vector produced by each class. Online LVQ identification (using ECG) recorded from 25 direct trials resulted in 80% accuracy.

Abstract

Indonesia is an agrarian country which most of it’s citizens are farmer. There are various kind of decent plants to grow in Indonesia but most of them plant rice, corn, wheat, and sago as staple food. There other plants that is consumed not as main food but as subsidiaries, one of them are chilli pepper. Abundant variety of vegetation in Indonesia means that there are also many type of pests and diseases. An agriculture expert is needed to identify plant’s diseases and pest correctly. Meanwhile, the number of agriculture experts is insufficient to help massive amount of farmer whom have trouble in agriculture. This problem can be solved by using Expert System where farmers can detect the problem on their plants and finding treatment to cure their plants correctly them self. This research is mean to develop an Expert System Application in agriculture  to identify diseases and pests based on their symptoms especially rice, chilli, and corn plants. This Expert System is based on web program using Backward Chaining Inversion which is deemed necessary to solve the case study’s problem.  Responsive Web Based System can be  accessed by user or client from many devices especially their smart phone help diagnose disease that occurs to their plant, more over, to solve the low rate of expert on agriculture.

Abstract

One area of business that is in great demand today is the culinary field. The culinary field is very mushrooming because it deals with meeting basic human needs. Therefore service to digital needs to be a concern. The goal is to improve services with NFC (Near Field Communication) based on Android for ordering food and drinks. This research uses experimental research methods by applying NFC that is on smart phones as a way to bring the smart phone closer to the NFC tag that is already on each table. Message data entered on a mini PC computer (Raspberry Pi) as the server for the next as a booking order that will be ordered by the waiter. Simulation show that a system can read NFC tags and find out table numbers via a smart phone with a 100% success rate, remote reading of NFC tags by smart phones is 2.5 cm and the average time by the system is 1,12 seconds. Besides that, the system is also equipped with calculations for payments with 100% accuracy.

Abstract

Shopping Mall merupakan area pusat perbelanjaan yang besar dan memiliki sistem keamanan seperti sistem layanan informasi yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh konsumen untuk mendapatkan informasi yang dibutuhkan. Penggunaan sistem layanan informasi pada area Shopping Mall bagi konsumen terkadang sangat tidak efektif. Hal ini dikarenakan konsumen membutuhkan waktu yang lama dalam mendapatkan informasi, dimana konsumen terlebih dahulu harus mencari lokasi tempat sistem layanan informasi tersebut. Hal ini menjadikan sistem keamanan pada Shopping Mall menjadi lemah. Indoor Positioning System (IPS) merupakan sistem yang dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui posisi pengguna melalui kekuatan sinyal Wi-Fi yang didapat dalam gedung. Pada penelitian ini, penulis membuat suatu aplikasi android yang dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui posisi konsumen pada area Shopping Mall tersebut.

Abstract

The tightness of one's activities sometimes makes people forget about security and comfort issues such as forgetting to lock the door, forgetting to turn off the lights or other electronic equipment so that it makes the house unsafe and also have an impact on energy waste. This research objective was to design a home security control system using Raspberry Pi connected to several electronic equipment, wifi, and internet communication networks. Remote control and monitoring using a smartphone. The test was carried out on ACS712 current sensor, PIR (Passive Infra Red) sensor, DHT22 temperature and humidity sensor, two lights and one webcam and buzzer. The test results show that the system that is designed can display information on current values, temperature, and humidity and also can control the condition of the house by turning on and off two lights with a 100% success rate. The PIR sensor can detect the movement of people at a maximum distance of 5.5 meters and the webcam manages to capture objects when motion is detected, the notification will automatically be sent to the owner's smartphone and the buzzer will be activated immediately.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus and gastric infections can be detected through bad breath bad breath (halitosis). Halitosis is a condition where the smell of bad breath occurs when a person exhales (usually smells when talking). This study aims to create an oral health identification and classification system (halitosis). TGS-2602 gas sensor will detect gas levels in the mouth of the patient, and send data in the form of an analog signal to the ATmega 328 microcontroller. By programming the data read on the Raspberry Pi, the data from the microcontroller is stored in a file and then the data is processed using the Fast Fourier Transform method. (FFT) so that the desired data pattern is obtained. The data pattern of the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) output will be used as input data on the Learning Vector Quantization (LVQ) neural network method. System testing is done to people with halitosis and not halitosis bad breath. The results showed that the percentage success rate of sensor responses to mild halitosis samples was 25%, moderate halitosis samples were 50%, acute Halitosis samples were 50% and non-halitosis samples were 100%.

Abstract

In this study, the total dissolved solid (TDS) in water was made using conductivity sensor which the sensor works by using the principle of conductance that is the ability of the solution in delivering the electric current, so the more content of solute contained in the water the greater also the value of its conductance. The measurement results of the sensor will be compared with the next setpoint value will be used to turn on the booster pump which will do the filtering process in order to decrease the TDS water content by using RO membrane. The performance of sensor readings when first used is boosted by the time at which the system takes 3 minutes to reach a stable state, while for the whole system is influenced by the volume of water that will decrease its TDS level. The test results are presented in the form of graph of change of TDS water content over time, the difference of time required to decrease the TDS level by 15 ppm for 1 liter of water for 6 minutes, 2 liter of water for 10 minutes and for 3 liters of water for 16 minutes.

Abstract

Braking Automation system is needed to make people do their job in braking while driving. This paper aims to design and construct an electromagnetic braking automatic system that able to make car stopped before colliding a barrier by applying of the Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) method. To find out how the effective utilization of PID control on electromagnetic braking automatic will be compared with the results of braking without using PID. Determination tuning result of controller PID parameter obtained by using the trial and error methods and obtained the PID parameter values that suitable are Kp = 2.98, Ki = 0.104 and Kd = 1.35. The ultrasonic sensor used as detection the distance to a barrier. From the testing results of electromagnetic braking system with PID control more effective than with the electromagnetic braking system without PID because it can be seen from the side cessation of the car approaching set point, the results of the electromagnetic braking with PID control better than the electromagnetic braking without PID control.

Abstract

 The development of computer technology in Indonesia is currently growing rapidly. In line with this the development of the Potato Seed Center (BBI) of potatoes was also developing, as was the case at the Kerinci Regency mother's seed plant. Processing of potato hatchery and hatchery development reports has not been computerized because it still uses Microsoft Excel, causing some problems including making reports on the development of potato hatcheries and searching for data takes quite a long time. This led to a weak processing of hatchery data processing systems and the development of reports on the development of Kerinci Regency potato seeding. Seeing the above problems, a potato seeding information system at the Central Seed Agency (BBI) was made using a C # programming language that had used a database and used Crytal Report to assist in the development of a report on the development of potato seedlings in the potato seed plant in Kerinci district.

Abstract

Mobile Robot is one robot that much used to help out man. Micromouse mobile robot is one robot that made to can find the route shortest in a maze. Flood fill algorithm is one way to find the route shortest by doing maze mapping, where the robot will compare the value of each cell and moving toward the smallest cell. In the research, the micromouse mobile robot was designed using Ultrasonic PING sensor to detect obstacles and Arduino Uno that will control the movement of DC motor. The robot will search a route shortest based on maze mapping that it has passed. The robot was tested on three mazes, where each maze was tested 10 times and obtained success level on the first maze of 80%, the second maze of 70% and the third maze of 70%.
