Abstract

DPTSI is an information technology unit in Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS). One of its section is Subdit PSI who is responsible for developing Management Information Systems (MIS) application to other units in ITS. Some problems exist when there is no single procedure available, including unstandardized processes of software development and lack of control in software quality development. A standard operating procedure is needed for this purpose and is constructed according to IT governance best practice framework, i.e. ITIL v3 and COBIT 5. Prior the development of SOP, a gap analysis was conducted to find important activities in software development. As a result, 5 (five) SOPs and 14 forms were developed. The results were then validated through simulation and focus group discussion with Subdit PSI. The research contributes to the implementation of IT governance best practice framework and also serves as a reference for management to standardize IT management process.

Abstract

Good delivery route determination is required to make savings, both in terms of time, mileage and cost. To determine good delivery route, this study implemented the pathfinding method. The program is created in two forms, the first form is using Iterative Deepening Search while the second form is using Karp Held. Sampel data used in this study is addresses of each place that frequently visited in product shipping. In addition, data of mileage, time and cost required on each trip also included. Data tes that used in this study are some addresses or locations that might be visited on product shipping. Data tests are tested on Held-Karp program and also on Iterative Deepening Search. From the experiments, the result show that Held-Karp method can determine better delivery route compared to Iterative Deepening Search. Total difference of Iterative Deepening Search and Held-Karp methods based on distance is 11,35 km, based on time is 27 minutes, and based on cost is 12,051 IDR. Overall, the difference of both methods is 19,66%.

Abstract

Cooperative Employee of PT. Wonosari Jaya is the largest saving and loan cooperative in ASEAN at the beginning of its opening. Business processes of the Employee Cooperative of PT. Wonosari Jaya include the recording of saving and employee’s loan. However, the transaction processing is still using a manual method. With the increasing amount of transaction, it needs an application that can facilitate users in accessing the transaction data. In this paper, the need of users is explained using the VORD method and then the design of cooperative application is developed using Iconix process method. This application is expected to help and facilitate the employees and members of the Cooperative Employees of PT. Wonosari Jaya in recording the saving and loan transactions.

Abstract

Seafood processing industry has become one of strategic clusters that currently is promoted by the government to grow. Nowadays,  many agro-industry companies emerged, ranging in all sizes from small to large scale. Company X, the case study in this research, is the representative of medium scale industry that has exported its product to several countries in Asia. The company faced challenges that include product sensitivity to temperature changing, a wide quality deviation, and the need of food safety guarantee. Becoming more competitive, the company keeps developing efficient performance on their supply chain. For that purpose, this research used quality risk management approach. All activities along the supply chain will be described on supply chain operations references (SCOR) framework, from where the risks were then analyzed through Delphi method. The result showed that there were 41 potential risks, which then evaluated using house of risk (HOR) 1. The HOR has found that 5 of the registered risks were critical and need to be mitigated. Thus, the next step arranged some mitigation strategies which were scored by HOR 2. Finally, 9 mitigation plannings were determined. The strategies are also potentially implemented in the similar industries.

Abstract

Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has launched Guideline for Development of e-Government Master Plan (2003) and General Guideline for National ICT Governance (2007 to improve the implementation of eGovernment. In addition, starting in 2012 the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has conducted a  ranking of e-Government implementation (PeGI). Based on the results of PeGI in 2015, the planning aspect value of 12 out of 27 ministries (44%) and the planning aspect of 8 out of 20 provinces (40%) was categorized less. Enterprise architecture is an effective tool for strategic planning to build linkages and increase interoperability of government agencies. This research was conducted to find out various problems of enterprise architecture implementation in Indonesia. Data collection through interviews was conducted in 89 government agencies in 3 districts/cities. The result shows that there are 7 types of information architecture problems, 9 application architecture problems, 10 infrastructure architecture problems, 22 organizational and management problems, and 6 financial problems.

Abstract

This research performs classification on social media text, specifically for the case of customer complaint in the telecommunication industry. To represent complaint criteria relevant to telecommunication services, we use the categories used in myTelkomsel, a web application of Telkomsel. Although this application enables customers to file in their complaints directly in a self-service manner, many customers opt to post their complaints in the social media such as Twitter. Therefore, in this research we create a classification model using Support Vector Machines (SVMs) to enable the automatic categorization of such customer complaints. As the input for the training and testing process, we crawl Twitter using the Streaming API. The data is then filtered to get tweets containing information, complaints, criticisms, suggestions, and questions about Telkomsel’s products or services. Using RBF kernels optimized with grid search, the resulting classifier gives good accuracy and f-measure of 84.84% and 84.88%, respectively.

Abstract

In 2014, Indonesian Government implemented Curriculum 2013 which replaces KTSP (Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan). In the assessments of Curriculum 2013, some schools already used Microsoft Excel program. Hovewer this program has a disadvantage, such as less structured data which causing the need of data re-entry in the next semester. For this problem, a software or web-based information system is needed to help make the assessment process easier and faster. Web-based information system needs to be installed on a server computer, then the information system can be accessed by client using a web browser (mozilla, chrome, etc.) trough computer network. The development of this information system using PHP programming language, codeigniter framework, and System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) waterfall model.

Abstract

Natural Language Processing (NLP) is a branch of science Aritificial Intelligence (AI) that focuses on natural language processing. Natural language is the language generally used by humans to communicate with each other. One of the problems in the use of natural language that is write error the word nor the structure of the word in a sentence. It also results in natural language processing into a computer is not able to get maximum results. So, to solve that problem in this research applies the Algorithm Oliver, LCS Algorithm (Longest Common Subsequences) of the Levenshtein Distance Algorithm and for improvement of writing as well as advising the writing. The results of the application of the Algorithm is shown in the third a simple application with a natural language interface as stuffed. The third test of the Algorithm shows good performance with the average ROC curve above 0.80. Then by comparing the performance of the Algorithm, the third is obtained that the LCS Algorithm has better performance in overcoming problems repair write error and the giving of advice with the indicated value of the ROC curve 0948.

Abstract

Service Desk pada Direktorat Pengembangan Sistem dan Teknologi Informasi (DPTSI) bertugas menangani insiden dan memenuhi permintaan layanan teknologi informasi (TI). Namun DPTSI belum pernah mengadakan pengendalian internal terhadap prosesnya. Untuk memastikan pengelolaan telah diterapkan sesuai dengan kontrolnya diperlukan audit TI terhadap unit tersebut. Salah satu hal yang perlu disiapkan dalam melaksanakan audit adalah perangkat audit agar auditor memiliki kertas kerja dalam menjalankan proses audit. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan perangkat audit pada service desk DPTSI yang dibuat berdasarkan control objective pada Service Desk Standard yang dipetakan dengan proses pada best practice COBIT 5 Domain DSS02 Manage Service Requests and Incidents. Ruang lingkup perangkat audit juga ditetapkan melalui control objective yang dipetakan dengan risiko TI pada service desk berdasarkan COBIT 5 for Risk APO12 Manage Risk. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah dokumen perangkat audit beserta panduan penggunaannya, yang nantinya diharapkan dapat membantu DPTSI untuk melakukan audit pada service desk

Abstract

One of the most common methods used for goal-oriented requirements engineering is Knowledge Acquistion in Automated Specification (KAOS). In the previous research KAOS method has been used to develop a system. In this research, the Concern of Requirements Engineering (CORE) model is used to evaluate KAOS perspective and meet the criteria of research methods to improve the quality of the requirements engineering process. The objective of quality evaluation of KAOS process is to measure and assess the process quality of KAOS methods. The assessment result shows that KAOS method still need to complement its activities regarding to risk impact analysis, manage agreements for changing needs, and manage relationships between needs.
