Abstract

Timur Tengah merupakan pusat keagamaan bagi muslim di seluruh dunia, termasuk Indonesia. Hubungan keagamaan antara Islam dan Timur Tengah mencakup proses politik dan sejarah yang kompleks. Perjuangan Islam puritan di era dominasi nilai imperialisme dan nilai kebaratan merupakan alasan utama penyebaran gerakan-gerakan politik Islam di berbagai belahan benua Asia. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menguji hubungan antara gerakan politik Islam di Timur Tengah dan gerakan-gerakan yang telah berkembang di Innesia. Terdapat beberapa aspek yang perlu dipahami mengenai munculnya gerakan-gerakan politik Islam. Penyebaran gerakan-gerakan politik Islam di Indonesia telah menunjukkan perubahan signifikan sejak tahun 1970-an dan 1980-an. Perkembangan gerakan-gerakan politik Islam mulai memperoleh momentum seiring meningkatnya jumlah pelajar dan mahsiswa Indonesia yang belajar ke Timur Tengah, yang menyebabkan eratnya hubungan Indonesia dan Timur Tengah pada banyak aspek. Pada tahun 1980-an, pelajar dan mahasiswa Indonesia di Arab Saudi, Mesir dan negaranegara Timur Tengah lainnya menyerap berbagai ide terkait politik Islam atau gerakan fundamentalis Islam dari Timur Tengah.

Abstract

Woman’s images are images, dreams, or thoughts about women. The image or image of woman also varies in character. Indirecly, the character of the female figure will give an image, a shadow about the woman’s personality. The orientation of the talk about the image of women rests on the issue of the world view, the attitudes and the behavior of the woman. In this article, the images of woman contained in the Syahrazād, work of Taufīq Al-Chakīm are analyzed. The study of feminism and qualitative methode was used. The results of the study suggest that the images of woman contained in the drama text are, first; the image of women in their relationship with God, second; the image of women in relation to themselves, and the third; the image of women in relation to other humans.

Abstract

Meme Instagram generally uses two views, as well as verbal and nonverbal text. This article will reveal the verbal and nonverbal structure of the Instagram meme. The aim is to find out what are the elements of meme its pattern and how the interrelationships between these elements are interrelated and aligned together into one unit. The meme data is taken from the @Mzajeat instagram and @Iq.Shabab which is in Arabic. Furthermore, the data is analyzed by utilizing concepts or theories of discourse and semantics. The result is the opening element of memes can be verbal or nonverbal elements, as well as the body or contents of memes can be in the form of verbal or nonverbal elements. From this research, it can be argued that the integration or linkage and the existence of these two elements make memes a discourse that is very interesting and very diverse in interpretation, especially on nonverbal elements. Through these two elements the meaning and message of the meme writer can be conveyed.

Abstract

In conventional economics one will find a basic macroeconomic model formulated as Y=C+I+G. This basic model is a formulae for counting national income with expenditure approach. Economists and economic students are quite familiar with it. According to conventional economists, in any economy there are three sectors that spend expenditures and earn income; those are household, business, and the government sectors. Economic actors or agents in household sector are individuals or families. Actors in business sector consist of firms, companies, or corporations. The actor in the government sector is the central government as an institutional entity. In the aforementioned model C symbolizes expenditures spent by household sector, I reflects investment spending by business sector, while G represents the government expenditure. This article is the product of a research which reveals that the basic macroeconomic model Y=C+I+G is less realistic. National income figures resulted from applying that model have been underestimated. Not only the model less realistic, underlying assumptions in building the model also are not Islamic. It is even worse that those assumptions have also been proven unfitted to the real world.Endowed with concepts in Islamic economics, this article provides a new model, a model that is not merely Islamic but more realistic as well. In the model being proposed here an additional economic sector is introduced, namely, social sector. Economic actors or agents in this sector consist of social organizations and non-profit institutions, a segment of community whose role and economic contributions have so far been neglected in conventional economics. Now in our presently proposed model, by recognizing them as a specific economic entity the new basic macroeconomic model is to be Y=”C”+”I”+G+A.

Abstract

The arrival of Jews in Palestine since 1882 changed the order of life of the Palestinian people. Jews began to buy land from Palestinians with the aim of mastering all Palestinian land in the future. This mastery is carried out to realize the ideals of establishing a Jews country that has been proclaimed by The World Zionist Organization. The achievement of control of Palestinian land became apparent when the Ottoman Government in Palestine was defeated and turned into British hands. In 1917, Britain gave way to the Zionist Organization by signing the Balfour Declaration which gave permission to them to make Palestine a homeland. In three decades, the Zionist Organization succeeded in annexing Palestine and making it a Jewish state called Israel. The establishment of the state of Israel became a tragedy to the Palestinians. Arab poets have resisted since the signing of the Balfour Declaration until the tragedy of Israel's annexation of Palestine with their poems. Literary works, in the theory of adab almuqawamah, were written to arouse the spirit of resistance of a nation against colonialism. Arab poets through their poems warn of the adverse consequences of the Balfour Declaration for Palestine. Their poetry is also to arouse the fighting spirit of the Palestinian people against Israel.

Abstract

Hubungan antara sastra arab dan Islam sangat dekat. Hal ini ditandai dengan adanya peradaban khazanah sastra Arab sejak periode Al-Ja<hiliy hingga Islam tersebar. Sejak itu, kegiatan bersastra bagi bangsa Arab menjadi sarana adat dan kebiasaan sehari-hari. Lalu ketika Islam datang menjadi penyeru agama kebenaran, sastra Arab menjadi semakin meluas dengan munculnya syair-syair bernafas Islami sebagai sarana dakwah. Kehadiran sastra Arab dalam kehidupan umat Islam telah merubah pola pikir dan perilaku masa jahiliy menuju perilaku yang lebih baik dengan menerapkan akhlaqul-karimah. Salah satunya adalah pemikiran sastra Islam yang dipelopori Abdurrahman Ra’fat Al-Basya dengan konsep at-tashawwurul Isla<miy. Artikel ini menggunakan metode analisis deskripsi untuk memaparkan wilayah objek sastra Arab dan Islam sebagai corak esensi pada wilayah objek seni dan kehidupan yang diungkap dari jiwa yang penuh iman dan mengeksploirasi dengan penuh keimanan. Pemikiran Al-Basya dijadikan teori sebagai pisau analisis dalam mengurai pemaparan sastra Arab dalam keterkaitannya dengan Islam. Beberapa puisi dari tokoh-tokoh sufi menjadi potret kekayaan sastra Islam dalam masyarakat Arab. Artikel ini sekaligus menjadi tambahan wawasan terkait kedudukan sastra Islam di era globalisasi.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik tokoh utama dalam bagian pertama naskah drama Ahlul Kahfi karya Taufīq Al-Chakīm dengan menggunakan pendekatan psikologi kepribadian Carl Gustav Jung. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, metode penelitian ini mengikuti langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: (1) Pembacaan karya yang menjadi objek penelitian, (2) Perumusan masalah, (3) Penentuan data objek, (4) Pengumpulan sumber data, (5) Pengkajian struktur, (6) Analisis data, dan (7) Penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil yang didapat adalah para tokoh utama memiliki karakteristik yang didominasi fungsi dan sikap jiwa yang beragam seperti pikiran, perasaan, ekstravers, introvers, dan perpaduan antara kedua sikap tersebut.

Abstract

Adaptation, as one form of response to literary texts, is a matter that has been much discussed in the world of literature or the world of art in general. An interesting case of adaptation is the adaptation of al-Fil al-Azraq's novel to a film showing the effort of an adapter to preserve the novel story as well as transforming it into a new work with a variety of creativity in it. This study aims to reveal the individuality, effects, and meaning of the text contained in the novel al-Fīl al-Azraq as the background text and the film al-Fīl al-Azraq as a foreground work as well as the media changes occurring in the adaptation work . To see this process of adaptation, the theory of aesthetic response from Wolfgeng Iser. The results of this study indicate that the adapters do dialectic with the source text and then display it in their adaptation work through changes in the text in the form of allusions, negations, and blank filling. These changes also affect the individuality, effects, and meaning of the adaptation work to the point of shifting from the source text. This shows that the work of adaptation is a new work that has its own individuality and creativity, a work of repetition without replication.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang struktur teks cerpen “Khalīl al-Kāfir” (1908) karya Jubrān Khalīl Jubrān berdasarkan teori struktural dan gambaran religiositas tokoh utama yang tergambar dalam teks cerpen “Khalīl al-Kāfir” (1908) karya Jubrān Khalīl Jubrān berdasarkan teori sosiologi sastra. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Adapun hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan beberapa hal sebagai berikut: Pertama, diperoleh unsur-unsur struktur yang membangun teks“Khalīl al-Kāfir” (1908) karya Jubrān Khalīl Jubrān antara lain (1) Tema, yaitu pemahaman agama yang benar akan berdampak pada sikap religius yang baik dan benar; (2) Cerita terdapat 11(sebelas) rangkian peristiwa; (3) Plot yang digunakan adalah plot (alur) maju; (4) Tokoh, terdapat 5tokoh yaitu Khalil, Syeikh Abas, Rahil, Maryam, dan Khuri Ilyas,(5) Latar (latar tempat, waktu); dan (6) Sudut Pandang yaitu sudut pandang persona ketiga gaya “dia”. Kedua, diperoleh tiga gambaran religiositas tokoh utama berdasarkan dimensi religiositas yang terdapat pada cerpen“Khalīl al-Kāfir” (1908) karya Jubrān Khalīl Jubrān, yaitu dimensi pengalaman, dimensi pengetahuan agama, dan dimensi pengamalan dengan memanfaatkan teori sosiologi sastra Rene Wellek dan Austin Warren.

Abstract

Arabic scholars from the classical to the modern period paid attention to the disciplines of Arabic lexicography. A great attention was given to lexicography, which was fundamentally helpful for active users and speakers of the Arabic language since the era of Khalil bin Ahmad (786 AD) who wrote the Al-‘Ain dictionary to Ahmad Mukhtar Umar's (2003) period with his dictionary Muʻjamu al-Lughah al-‘Arabiyyah al-Muʻāshirah. Modern linguistic studies then produce language levels found in Arabic dictionaries. This level of language is certainly different in the view of Arab lexicographers. Some see it from the perspective of a language level that includes syntax, morphology and phonology, mostly referred to by classical and modern dictionaries. Some others see the language levels typically a variety of languages ammiyyah (al-‘āmmī/colloquial Arabic) and various foreign languages (al-aʻjamī/foreign language). Both of these varieties have seized the attention of Arabic dictionaries through a number of explanations either explicitly or implicitly in these dictionaries. Language levels additionally includes the treasure of language (turāts) literary works are assessed as the basic foundation for language users and reviewers. In addition to turāts, the level of spoken language used daily is also found in Arabic dictionaries. This language level undergoes articulation changes in a number of vocabularies in the form of changes at the vowel marks (charakat). This article outlines these four levels of language by modern Arabic dictionaries which aim to show the extent to which modern Arabic dictionaries make use of the classical Arabic lexicography paradigm and its contribution to the development of descriptions of language vocabulary for current language speakers and modern Arabic dictionary users.
