Abstract

This research will elaborate the reference of cohesion in the Arabic language. This research is using the discourse of muqaddimah (introduction) of Al-Munjid Dictionary first edition, written by Louis Ma’luf Al-Yasui as the source of data. The methods that had been used in this research were distributively method – distribusionalism using the technique of directly substances divided, the technique of reading the marks, the technique of change, and the technique of paraphrase. In the muqaddimah of Al-Munjid dictionary discourse, first edition, written by Louis Ma’luf Al-Yasui, the result of analysis can be concluded that there are two kinds of reference cohesion, (1) based on the substances that has been refered, such as endophora (anaphora and cataphora) and exophora, (2) based on the type of reference, such as reference of persona and reference of demonstrative.

Abstract

This paper describes the brief history of Humour in Arabs from (1) the earlier preIslamic period, (2) the Islamic period, (3) the medieval Arabic Literature (Abbasid), and (4) Mamaluke, Fatimid, Ayyubid, and Ottoman periods. This paper will try to show thatArabic literature is rife with the unique taste of Arabs in humour and comedy. Finally, the result of data analysis shows that humour in the earlier pre-Islamic period and the Islamic period is used dominantly at satirical poem which is called hija‟. But in the medieval period until Ottoman period, Arabic humour and comedy has been spreading to the modern prose, shuch as romantic novel, elegant style of fable, public theater – shadow play and some of elegiac short stories.

Abstract

Politic has been defined simply by Harold Laswell as who gets what, when, how?Many people say that politic is synonymous with power. The "power" is the ability of agroup to influence other groups according to the subject wishes. Furthermore, thepolitical experts see the power as a political core and also assume that politic is all amatter of fight and maintain activities power. It has a purpose related to the interests of the entire community. On the other hand mentioned that politic is the process offormation and distribution of a power in society such as decision-making process,particularly in countries. This understanding is the incorporation effort between manydifferent definitions of the political nature which is known in political science. Politic is the art and science to gain power constitutionally and unconstitutionally. Principally political Islam is to actualize Islamic law as the supreme source of lawin the national legal order. All laws and regulations applicable in a country should refer to the highest legal source Sharia. If there is any conflict with the shari‟a, then it is automatically canceled regulations. Politics that do not have a mission like this can not be classified as political Islam.

Abstract

The discussions in this examination are : (1) How the structure of literature builds the story  with prominent character in drama manuscript ‚Luzūmu Mā Lā Yalzamu‛ based on theory of structural Abdul-Bāsith Abdur-Razāq Badr, (2)How characteristic and conflict prominent character in drama manuscript ‚Luzūmu Mā Lā Yalzamu‛  based on the theory of psychoanalysis from SigmundFreud. The Method used in this examination is descriptive qualitative. The purposes of this examination are: (1) Describing the structure which builds the story with prominent character in drama manuscript Luzūmu Mā Lā Yalzamu‛ based on theory of structural „Abdul-Bāsith „Abdur-Razāq Badr, (2)Describing characteristic and conflict prominent character in drama manuscript ‚Luzūmu Mā Lā Yalzamu‛ based on theory of psychoanalysis Sigmund Freud. From the analysis can be concluded some cases, they are : First, the condition and spirit of development cannot separated from external influence, that is psychology influence appeared from positive or negative outside thestrength. In addition it cannot be separated again from internal influence of  eachself. Internal influence defined as psychological strength appeared from threesystems of personality, they are id, ego, superego. Second, in drama manuscript Luzūmu Mā Lā Yalzamu‛ part of characteristic and conflict cover prominentcharacter springed by external push. These of mistakes and deviations done byother characters make prominent character, investigator, experienced the conflictand get classification of emotion. These matters make investigator doesmechanism of defense towards the conflicts he faced.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are (1) to find the factors of the Young Turks Movement wanted to attempt the Sultan Abdul Hamid II and (2) to describe the consideration of Young Turk Movement in bringing down Sultan Abdul Hamid II. This study uses qualitative methods presented in descriptive. The technique of data collection was done through the study of library research. Books that became reference were book related to considerations of Young Turk and Sultan Abdul Hamid II. The author did data selection from the rest of the data obtained and then did the analysis. The results of the findings in this research are first, the Young Turks are movement against the reign of Sultan Abdul Hamid II which they regard as dictator. The Young Turk cooperated with liberal opposition to get rid of Sultan abdul Hamid II from his power. Second,the consideration of Young Turk Movement in bringing down Sultan Abdul Hamid II, is build a partnership with Zionism, replacing the Sultan, assault and murder.

Abstract

The claim of product innovation in Islamic Banking needs a guidance and the strongest regulation which makes realization of subservience syariah (shariah compliance) and it has an ability to fill all over the market need. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is now being the dominant factor in economic and market of Islamic banking toward the gulf area of Arabian Penninsula, shows the fact of the absent of regulation while the condition of Islamic banking is not well-structured. This research aimed to answer the main problems between the fatwa’s authority of banking and the absent of goverment’s regulation. The result of this research is concluded that the biggest challenge that will be faced by Saudi Arabia such as the pressure of globally financial system, the coordination of Islamic Banking monitoring, the centralization of national banking’s fatwa (guidance), and the firmness toward conventionally banking and foreign.

Abstract

Research on Radical Islamic Movement and Terrorism in Indonesia: Study ofIntegration Efforts against Nations will review the symptoms and done by a group ofreligious communities in prioritizing some of the principal teachings of his religion andstudied violence and intimidation from the perspective of religious teachings. How isideology behind the acts of violence and terrorism, and how the views of religious leadersagainst the ideology. On the other hand, it is also assessed the strengths and weaknessesof the government in overcoming the action. It will be found the rules that can be used asa guide for policy makers to undertake preventive measures.   This research is useful in politic, sociology and religious field. This research wouldbe useful to inform the public about the ideology and worldview of radical Islamicmovements and terrorism, and its relation to nation integration. Understanding of thenations character is very important to help the realization of national security system. Acountry having a good separation in nation‟s character will have positive steps toanticipate the problems of national security.

Abstract

Commercial advertisement of the printed media usually appears in two kinds. There are verbal and compounding of verbal and nonverbal.  The article explores thestructure of commercial advertisement of the printed media in Egypt. The objective ofthis paper is to explain the elements and the patterns in each structure.  It collectedadvertisement from Egypt news papers and magazines during April until June 2013 andanalyzed the data using the theory of advertisement of Leech and Bathia. The analysisresult reveals that verbal structure has more patterns than nonverbal ones. It concludesthat the verbal structure is more complex than nonverbal structure and its existence isneeded to help verbal messages.

Abstract

Arabic calligraphy as an art form distinctively Islamic in its development continues to progress, both in terms of form, writing, style, visualization, and media usage trends. Research on Arabic calligraphy is intended to determine the development of Arabic calligraphy in Indonesia by presenting a glimpse of history in the Middle East until in Indonesia. Data were obtained from a review of literature and direct observation, as well as the sources of literature and internet, studies done using qualitative methods based on quantitative data obtained. Results showed that the development of Arabic calligraphy in Indonesia towards metamorphosis, transformation and paradigm forms in accordance with the spirit of the age. Changes in cultural traditions characterized by the development of civilization increasingly open and reveal that calligraphy in Indonesia continues to grow following the movement of culture in other aspects of the broader, he was instrumental not only in the frame of the architecture of religious buildings, but he has been included in the development of eco-architecture today central to the social needs of society.

Abstract

This research discusses the kinds of form and meaning shift in the Masātu Zainab drama text translation. The purposes of this research are to describe the kinds of form and meaning shift in the Masātu Zainab drama text translation. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive. The data source is Masātu Zainab Zainab drama text written by Ali Ahmad Bākatsīr. The data are collected by non-interactive method. The data analyzing in this research are including: data reduction, data display, conclusion and verification. This research can be concluded as follow: First, forms shift in the translation are caused by structural differences between source language and target language. The forms shift, include morpheme strata shifting, syntax strata shifting, and word category shifting. Second, meaning shift in the translation is caused by the absence of quitely equivalent word between source language and target language. The meaning shift is also caused by the cultural differenciation between source language and the target language. The meaning shift consist of meaning shift from generic meaning into the specific one or vice versa, and the meaning shift which is caused by the cultural differenciation point of view.
