Abstract

Intelligent Tutoring System is a tutor behaviour system  which can be used as an alternative goal for interactive e-learning and distant learning. This system can provide an adaptive system to support student’s learning and retention process based on their characteristic and needed. There are development method such as bayesian network, and neural network that can build fundamental component of Intelligent Tutoring System. This paper will give some concepts and examples for implementing those method from other papers. Abstract

Smarthouse systems require some information of human locations in the system environment, different smart house system offers different human tracking method. The idea of this paper is to determine which method is better in which condition. This paper discusses amongst RFID, voice recognizer and temperaturesensor. Abstract

The research goal is to identify and analyze the need of accounting information system related to the revenue cycle at PT XYZ. This paper designing the useful of accounting information systems to support the current business processes, especially on the revenue cycle process. The design method is an Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) which refers to the modeling and design requirements discipline. And the result achieved by analysis and design of accounting information systems can support current activities of the revenue cycle, especially for the documentation and store of transaction data, and generate reports in accordance with company requirements. Conclusions derived from the analysis and design is the implementation of a webbased application that can help PT XYZ to do the work in different places, such as marketing office, head office and especially at the exhibition. Abstract

In establish good relationship with customer, companies need to have a good customer relationship management system as well. The purpose of this study is to explore the level of development of the use of instant messaging applications that are used for mobility of companies in establishing relationships with customers; and to investigate the factors considered important for the success of the mobility of companies in establishing relationships with their customers. In this study it was found that not all instant messaging application has a feature which serves to establish rapport with customers. The results showed some of the determinants of success in the utilization of instant messaging applications is the ease of use, target the most used mobile devices, operating systems most used by users, and mobile application user interface that is used. Abstract

In this modern era, business processes become one of the important aspects for a company to stay ahead in the competition to its competitors. A company that has an optimal business processes and supported by an integrated information system will win the competition. This study aims to optimize the purchasing business process of Company XYZ using the concept of Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) approach as the basis for designing the next module of enterprise information systems. From this study, we found that there are still business processes that need to be revised and improved to integrate the flow of data and information from one department to another department. Business process that needs to be revised is an overseas purchase; Business processes that need to be improved are Overdelivery and Under-delivery Tolerance, PO Free Goods, PO Subcontracting, and Purchasing Planning consisting of Weekly Projected Sales, Weekly Order Projection & Daily Order Projection. Abstract

This research calculates performance expectation of online learning system in Jakarta Undergraduate Universities. The main goal of the research is to calculate the difference of online learning system performance expectation between non experienced students and lecturers compared to the experienced students and lecturers. Data is gathered by using random sampling method, questionnaire, and analyzed in experimental research. Result of analysis shows that there is no significant difference of online learning system performance expectation between experienced and inexperienced users. It is can be concluded that online learning system still cannot be able to give a good performance expectation to users in Jakarta Undergraduate Universities. Furthermore education institution should make a better plan and evaluation to their online learning system. Index Terms - Expectation, Online, Performance, Learning

Abstract

In this modern era, the need to have a more tinkerable, more meaningful, and more social programming language has arisen. One of the programming environments that catch up with this issue is Scratch. In this paper, the author tries to explain Scratch as a visual programming language, its’ basic concepts, and its’ implementations. As an example, one interactive game that has been built using Scratch is shown at the end of this paper. Index terms - game, Scratch, visual programming.

Abstract

Crowdsourced Labelling is a large scale data labelling process, solicits a large group of people to label the data, usually via Internet.  This paper discusses about design and implementation of Web-based Crowdsourced Labelling.  Supervised learning classification methods need labelled training data for its training phase.  Unfortunately, in many cases, there aren’t any already available labelled training data.  Large scale data labelling is a tedious and time consuming work.  This research develops a web-based crowdsourced labelling which able to solicit a large group of people as data labeler to speed up the data labelling process.  This system also allows multiple labeler for every data.  The final label is calculated using Weighted Majority Voting method.  We grabbed and used Facebook comments from the two candidates’ Facebook Page of 2014 Indonesian Presidential Election as testing data.  Based on the testing conducted we can conclude that this system is able to handle all the labelling steps well and able to handle collision occurred when multiple labeler labelling a same data in the same time. The system successfully produces final label in CSV format, which can be processed further with many sentiment analysis tools or machine learning tools. Abstract

Data is very important component in the organization and should be managed properly. Information with accurate, precise, and reliable data be beneficial for the organization for decision making. XYZ University realize that the data management is very important process. The needs of data must be supported properly and quickly, so that the required data can be accessed anytime and anywhere. In this study discusses the process of providing data according to user demand. The method in this paper is identification, define the problem, and data collection. XYZ University already has applications to support data requests, but not all data requests can be fulfilled in the system. There is still a process of data requests made   through emails. Overall, the application for data requests very helpful for database and system admin staff, so the routine data requests through emails can be reduced. The application has also features for monitoring data requests from units, so the Manager can monitor the process of the data request and find out any unit that doing frequent data requests each month. But, the application also required for tracking data requests, so user can monitor status of data requests, who’s working on, and estimation time for processing data requests. Abstract

Recently, Bike shop only sells bicycle in full bike or you can build it with components that suit you at the shop. However, these days many customer needs e-commerce web so that potential customers or buyers can shop online for their custom build bike. But if they want to see how it built, they have to see it on the shop or see other builds. The main idea of this study is to make a custom build simulation for bicycle web application for bike shop so that potential buyers could do a simulation first before they buy a custom build bike so that they know what components that suits them and know the weight, price and etc. The objective of this study is to make the potential buyer easier to find a bike that suits their needs. The methodology of system design in this study is using Rapid Application Development Method because the method could made the process very fast and always interact with the bike shop owner so that the application right on track. The website application was built by using MySQL Database and PHP programming language. The website is divided into 2 parts, which are one for customer and one for admin for maintaining the app. In this study use Spinwarrior bike shop for the example of the website implementation Index Terms: Bicycle, custom build, simulation, PHP, website.
