Abstract

Abstract - To enforce traffic regulations on the highway, police officers face obstacles in monitoring the use of seat belts on cars because cars on the highway are always on the move and almost all cars use window film to avoid the heat of the sun entering the car. Based on the above problems, the authors build a software that can monitor or detect drivers wearing seat belts or not with Microsoft Visual C # 2010. To monitor the use of seat belts, digital cameras are used to conduct image acquisition to be processed by computers. . Furthermore, the image is studied by a system using the Back Propagation Neural Network (BPNN) Artificial Neural Network method as the image of the driver using a seat belt. To make a detection, the test image is input that is the same size as the training image. The test results obtained the level of accuracy for image acquisition with a distance of 1 meter with a similarity using a seat belt with a maximum value of 9% and a degree of similarity without a seat belt of less than 4%.   Keywords - Image, Neural Network, Backpropagation Algorithm

Abstract

Abstract - Biometrics is the study of automatic methods for recognizing humans based on one or more parts of the human body that are unique. One human characteristic that can be used is iris, iris features can be used as distinguishing characteristics with other individuals. The stage that the writer did to be able to recognize the iris pattern of someone's eye in a digital image was the pre-processing stage, the template saving stage and the matching stage. In this study the author applies the template matching method to store the image into a template image stored in the database and the algorithm correlation coefficient for the characteristic matching algorithm between template data and test data. The application is designed using the Matlab R2010a programming language. The results of testing 22 images obtained by the percentage of system success was 86.36%. Keywords - Iris, Template Matching, Correlation Coefficient

Abstract

Abstract - Developments in information technology, especially information systems have brought convenience that promises a work efficiency. For example geographic information system is a tool with a computer system that is used to map conditions and events that occur on the face of the earth is a system that is helpful in providing and presenting information needed by users. The development especially in the aspect of environmental needs in order to overcome or reduce the impact of disasters in the Sumatran region, and by improving the performance of the BPBD, it is necessary to have a GIS-based information system that can show BPBD disaster points that already exist in North Sumatra. With the existence of map information, especially in the web system, it is expected to provide fast and accurate information, especially knowing the exact location of the disaster. thus facilitating the work of officers in providing disaster information at the head office. Keywords - Geographic Information Systems, Mapping, Web.

Abstract

Abstract - In this study, an IoT-based door security system was proposed which facilitated homeowners to open and close doors and unlock doors through the internet. The system is also equipped with a real time video streaming feature so that the owner can save the environment around the door and ensure the person at the door before opening it. The Raspberry Pi is used as the main controller of the system that provides web pages for users and signatories to access Arduino Uno boards. Arduino Uno controls the servo to control the door. The camera used in this study is a Raspberry Camera with 5 MP resolution. From the results of the tests carried out, the results of the system that have been made can work well. Expected full service and response to changes in users on web pages is also quite fast. Streaming video runs smoothly at 30 fps with a resolution of 640x480.Keywords - Raspberry Pi, Streaming Video, Internet of Things, Door Control

Abstract

Abstract - The electricity subsidy program is one of the poverty reduction programs by providing electricity subsidies to poor and disadvantaged households paid by the Government of Indonesia to PT. PLN (Persero). At PT. PLN (Persero) Area Rantau Prapat Rayon Tanjung Balai which is located on Jl. General Sudirman has a problem that is faced, namely regarding the subsidy budget, it turns out that there have been many wrong targets, most of the subsidy funds have fallen to economically capable people. The government applies the electricity subsidy policy on target, subsidies must be really enjoyed by poor people. To provide electricity subsidies to poor households and poor households, both humans and agencies cannot be separated from information technology systems. This system is usually called a decision support system that is designed to assist in making a decision where no one knows exactly how the decision should be made. The problem of decision-making systems using fuzzy logic systems is very suitable for definite reasoning or estimation, especially for systems with difficult mathematical models and inappropriate data to get a definite decision.   Keywords - Decision Support System, Electricity Subsidies, Fuzzy Logic.

Abstract

Abstract - The process of selecting majors by prospective students by SMK Negeri 1 Air Putih is done manually. There are students who feel they are not compatible with their interests when getting lessons at school, this results students change schools and some drop out of school. Other things that can also have an effect such as students who move and dropout. In this study a system for implementing fuzzy logic was built using the method Tsukamoto. From the results of the research, the results of the Tsukamoto method were able to provide departmental recommendations which matches the subject that has high grades. Keywords - Fuzzy Tsukamoto, Fuzzy Logic, Prospective New Students.

Abstract

Abstract - The android mobile mapping application is very popular nowadays because it really helps people for daily activities, especially helping gamers especially to find the location of the nearest cybercafe that has qualified specifications to play eSport games, the rapid world of eSport gaming which has more international tournaments. more and more people are focusing on becoming an esport gaming athlete, every esport game requires high computer specifications in order to play it smoothly and without hindrance, this is where the role of cybercafe is, cybercafe provides high-specification computer facilities which are capable of accommodating various eSport games like Dota -2, CS:GO, PUBG, Fortnite, and others. And this application is a liaison between gamers and cybercafe locations located, this application uses the very relevant LBS method used in an application based on the mapping concept, this application is created using an android studio which is thought to be qualified to make an application that is user friendly and easy to use, besides this application also requires an internet connection because it is connected directly to google maps, navigation is very important in the operation of this application. KeyWords - cybercafe, maps, location based service, android mobile, android studio.

Abstract

Abstract - The student president is a student leader who aims to mediate students with the rector. Every year a student presidential election will be held. To carry out the elections, of course, they must have candidates as candidates. To become a candidate, the committee selects candidates based on the conditions that have been determined. The selection is done manually. However, candidates come from different faculties and departments which result in all its limitations, the committee will have difficulties and it will take a relatively long time to determine the candidates. Therefore, building a decision support system using the Sugeno fuzzy method to determine student presidential candidates is a good idea. This study aims to design and implement a decision support system with fuzzy Sugeno method, to facilitate the committee in working. This study uses a library research method. Where the source of information is obtained from books, journals, and others. To design a system created using UML. Based on system design, implementation and testing, the conclusion is that a decision support system with fuzzy sugeno method can determine student presidential candidates. The system built can be used as an alternative in selecting student presidential candidates because it can facilitate the committee in processing data to make decisions. Keywords - Prospective Student President, Decision Support System, Fuzzy Sugeno

Abstract

Abstract - Identification of faces in digital images is a complex process and requires a combination of various methods. The complexity of facial identification is increasing along with the increasing need for high accuracy of facial images. This research analyzes the combination of Skin Color Model and Gabor Filters in the process of identifying facial identities in digital images. The Skin Color Model method is used to separate the face area from facial images based on skin color values on facial images. The face area is then extracted using Gabor Filter. This research resulted in the highest accuracy was 93.6349%. and the lowest accuracy is around 82.45%. The implementation of a combination of Skin Color Models and Gabor Filters can be an alternative method of identifying faces in digital images. Keywords - Digital Image, Face Identification, Skin Color Model, Gabor Filter.

Abstract

Abstract - Comics are visual communication media that contain information, ideas, messages that are poured into images as attractive as possible. The combination of comics and hadiths is suitable to be used as an alternative to da'wah media because there are moral and moral messages contained in hadiths. The hadith comic application is made to make it easier for readers to understand the contents of comic stories and minimize the common mistakes that often occur. The method used in making the application is to use PHP. The hadith comic application has the features of presenting comics collaborated with animation, this is so that users listen to the comic storyline correctly and sequentially so as to minimize failure in understanding the core story. Hadist comic applications accompanied by attractive images and color variations make it an interesting application to use especially for teenagers and children.
