Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of student learning outcomes in social studies. In an effort to improve student achievement, researchers used the concept learning model sentences. The method used is classroom action research “Dave Ebbut” models. Data collection technique used observation and written tests. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes in the first cycle with an average value of 68.65 with the percentage of students completeness 46%, the second cycle was obtained an average value of 74.8 students with the percentage of completeness 76%, and the third cycle values obtained an average of 78.5 students with a percentage to reach 92% level of completeness.

Abstract

According to Al-Ghazali, a teacher must have a personal, pedagogical, and social competence. Personal competencies that must be owned by teachers include compassion to students and treat them as his own; emulate the Prophet so do not demand wages, rewards and awards, knowledge and contrary to his actions not his words. Pedagogical competence consists of not giving the title or dignity to the learner before he was worthy to carry it; learners reprimanded of despicable character; presenting lessons to students according to their level of functioning. As for social competence is not vilify another field of study.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in science subjects. It is characterized by the fact that most of the daily test scores of students have not reached the minimum standard. The use of models Visualization, Auditory, Kinestetic (VAK) in learning science is proven to improve the quality of learning that is evidenced by the increase in the ability of teachers in implementing the learning cycle I is 77.3% -77.75% and 78.55% -79 in second cycle, 5%. While improving student learning outcomes in learning science increased from the first cycle of 36% -45% to 50% -77% in the second cycle.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to understand the interrelationships between habituation of Islamic values, exemplary teachers, and the character of the students. The results show that habituation of Islamic values in SMP Negeri 2 Ciamis done inside and outside of instructional hours that includes the values of faith, morals, worship. The process of habituation was getting stronger when supported by exemplary teachers. The character development of students include the development of religiosity, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, the spirit of nationalism, patriotism, recognize excellence, communicative, love peace, love reading, environmental care, social care , and responsibility.

Abstract

Model of moral cultivation in MTsN Bangunharja done using three methods, classical cultivation methods, extra-curricular activities in the form of religious activities, scouting, sports, and Islamic art, and habituation of morals. Problem base learning model in MTsN Bangunharja applied using the following steps: find the problem, define the problem, determine the facts, develop provisional estimates, investigate, enhance the problem has been defined, concluded alternatives to solving collaboratively, test solutions to problems. The problem base learning and teaching model is proven to improve the quality of the character of students in MTsN Bangunharja. This is evidenced by the results of statistical calculations that generate t values of 26.35, while t table amounted to 1.7109.

Abstract

Civics learning process in Public Elementary School (SDN) Bayusetra take place in the absence of innovative use of learning strategies that result in the student being bored to absorb the lessons delivered by teachers and influence the learning outcomes to be low. Application of tournament- learning oriented to maximize active learning in small groups of students and create a learning climate that is effective, proven to improve student learning outcomes characterized by an increase in per cycle of three study cycles.

Abstract

This study is a classroom action research with two cycles in MIN Rajadesa Ciamis. The study succeeded in increasing the ability to read the beginning of learners through the application of methods of kata lembaga. From the aspect of early reading skills of students on an individual basis, in the first cycle only 4 learners who reach the level of completeness (40%) and the second cycle, all students have achieved mastery (100%). Additionally, the performance of teachers in the implementation of learning Indonesian by using the kata lembaga, also experienced a discernable rise from an average score of 4.12 in the first cycle to 4.88 in the second cycle.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in social studies. This is because most of the daily test scores of students have not reached the minimum standard. Therefore, it is necessary to use models of Team Assisted Individualization in the social studies learning. The purpose of this study are: to improve the ability of teachers in preparing a lesson plan, to improve the ability of teachers to implement the learning process, and to improve the learning outcomes of students in social studies subject. Data collected using observational techniques, test, and descriptive analysis. The result showed that the using of Team Assisted Individualization learning model can improve learning outcomes of students in social studies.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' reading comprehension in SDN 2 Kawalimukti Ciamis. The method used is the classroom action research. Data were collected through observation and test performance. The results showed that learning by using scaffolded reading method can improve students' reading comprehension on the subjects of Bahasa Indonesian text reading stories of children in SDN 2 Kawalimukti Ciamis District.

Abstract

On the basis of the problems found in Madrasah Aliyah Terpadu Pakunagara known that the use of lecture, question, and answer could not optimize student learning outcomes in the subject of Quran Hadith. Therefore, researcher has tried to apply lessons peer strategy. The purpose of using this strategy is to maximize student learning outcomes in the subjects of Qur'an Hadith. The results show that this strategy can improve student learning outcomes in the subjects of Qur'an Hadith.
