Abstract

There isn’t frequent contiguity of Muslims and holy Quran. They are afraid to interpret it. Otherwise, there are people interpret holy Quran at will without the knowledge capacity. This article explores and analyzes the mental and knowledge requirements of interpreter by Socrates’s dialectic theory to find the universal or temporal, flexible, and local requirements of interpreter. This article contributes as first foundation before interpret holy Quran.

Abstract

Sebagai hudan li al-nas, al-Qur’an sudah barang tentu bukan hanya petunjuk dalam arti metafisis-eskatologis, tetapi juga menyangkut masalah-masalah praktis kehidupan manusia di alam dunia, termasuk di dalamnya patokan-patokan dasar tentang bagaimana manusia menyantuni alam semesta dan mengkonservasionis lingkungan sekitarnya. Tulisan ini akan mengintroduksi beberapa cara atau upaya manusia dalam mengkonservasi lingkungan. Tulisan difokuskan pada penelusuran ayat-ayat tentang ekologi, baru kemudian menelisik dan menelaah ayat-ayat yang berhubungan dengan konservasi lingkungan dalam al-Qur’an. Dengan demikian, metode yang digunakan dalam tulisan ini adalah tematik. Yakni menjadikan ayat-ayat al-Qur’an yang berkaitan dengan konservasi lingkungan sebagai kajian utama, kemudian disarikan nilai-nilai universalnya untuk dijadikan landasan normatif dalam upaya mengkonservasi lingkungan.

Abstract

The title of this research is distributed by some of the statements in the Quran about ethics against the property. On the one hand the Quran looked positively treasure, on the other hand the Quran as if not condone. This research would like to find a concept of how the Quran against ethics against property by emphasizing the ethical discussion of acquiring property, possession and utilization of ethics of property. The type and pattern of this research is a library that is descriptive qualitative analysis. The main object of his research is the Quran. Therefore, the method used is the science of tafseer. Because this research is to find a concept, the approach used was thematic tafseer. The texts relating to the subject matter of discussion. As for to analyze the problem, the authors use think inductively, that is, seeks to provide answers to various issues of life with departure from nas Quran towards reality (min al-Quran ila al-wâqi ). With this approach the authors limit themselves to things that are described by the Quran, including in the selection of the theme, and only use the vocabulary or term used Al Quran. The discussion in this paper are not directed to the type, quality or quantity of property. Instead it focused on the ethical attitude of man against the property, in which case the problem of acquiring property, possession and utilization of property. Of exposure data in this discussion, several conclusions, among them. The mention of the Quran on wealth seems less condone, not aimed at the material, melain aimed at human attitude towards wealth that made the property into a negative. The advice of the Quran against the wealth not only technical problems, but rather ethical issues as moral values built in Islam. Judul penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh beberapa pernyataan Al-Qur’an tentang etika terhadap harta. Di satu sisi Al-Qur’an memandang harta secara positif, di sisi lain Al-Qur’an seolah-olah tidak merestui. Penelitian ini ingin mencari konsep bagaimana pandangan Al-Qur’an terhadap etika terhadap harta dengan menekankan pembahasan etika memperoleh harta, memiliki harta dan etika pendayagunaan harta. Jenis dan corak penelitian ini adalah library yang bersifat deskriptif analisis kualitatif. Objek utama penelitiannya adalah Al-Qur’an. Oleh karena itu, metode yang digunakan adalah ilmu tafsir. Karena penelitian ini untuk menemukan konsep, pendekatan yang digunakan adalah tafsir tematik. Ayat-ayat yang berkaitan dengan pokok pembahasan. Adapun untuk menganalisa masalah, penulis menggunakan pikir induktif, yakni berupaya memberikan jawaban terhadap berbagai persoalan kehidupan dengan berangkat dari nas Al-Qur’an menuju realita ( min al-Qur’an ila al-wâqi’). Dengan pendekatan ini penulis membatasi diri pada hal-hal yang dijelaskan oleh Al-Qur’an, termasuk dalam pemilihan tema, dan hanya menggunakan kosa kata atau term yang digunakan Al-Qur’an. Pembahasan dalam tulisan ini tidak diarahkan pada jenis, kualitas atau kuantitas harta. Melainkan difokuskan pada sikap etis manusia terhadap harta, dalam hal masalah memperoleh harta, memiliki harta dan pendayagunaan harta. Dari pemaparan data dalam pembahasan ini, menghasilkan beberapa kesimpulan, di antaranya. Penyebutan Al-Qur’an terhadap kekayaan seolah-olah kurang merestui, bukan ditujukan pada materinya, melain ditujukan pada sikap manusia terhadap kekayaan yang menjadikan harta menjadi negatif. Nasihat Al-Qur’an terhadap harta kekayaan bukan hanya masalah teknis, melainkan masalah etika sebagai nilai-nilai moral yang dibangun dalam Islam.

Abstract

Abstrak This paper will explore aspects of research methodology of exegesis written by Aksin Wijaya related to methods nuzuli ala Muhammad Izzat Darwazah. For that, the focus of this discussion is the methodology of his research in his own book of under title Sejarah Kenabian Dalam Perspektif Tafsir Nuzuli Muhammad Izzat Darwazah, finding out how people review mufassir. Specifically, the methodical determination of the previous his experienced has moved soon of orientation from the critical to the descriptive while facing of four books, namely: Tafsir al Hadith, Ashr al Nabiy wa Biatuhu Qabla al Bitsah, Sirah al Rasul; Suwar Muqtabasah min al Quran, and ad Dustur al Quran fi Suuni al Hayat works of thinkers and historians. From his reading, he at least analyzes his views into two important parts, namely; 1) the interpretation method of nuzuli and the ideal concept it contains, 2) it then draws it into the realm of pre-Islamic, personal and family life of the prophet Muhammad, to the condition of the people of prophetic era through the perspective of nuzuli Izzat Darwazah exegesis. According to the reviewer, there are other research elements in writing the work of the exegesis, namely some models of research methods of interpretation at once, such as: comparative research, character research, and thematic-nuzuli research. Whereas although placed more as an overview of nuzuli interpretation, at least he invites readers, especially in Indonesia to re-read the tafsir nuzuli treasury and see which is as worthy to be developed in the turats of Islam Nusantara. Abstrak Tulisan ini hendak menelusuri aspek metodologi penelitian tafsir yang dilakukan oleh Dr. Aksin Wijaya terkait metode nuzuli ala Muhammad Izzat Darwazah. Untuk itu, fokus dari pembahasan ini adalah tentang metodologi penelitiannya dalam buku berjudul Sejarah Kenabian Dalam Perspektif Tafsir Nuzuli Muhammad Izzat Darwazah untuk mengetahui bagaimana orang mengkaji mufassir. Dimana secara khusus mulai penentuan metodis dari sebelumnya ia mengalami pergeseran orientasi dari kritis ke deskriptif dalam menghadapi empat kitab hasil perburuannya, yaitu: Tafsir al Hadits, ‘Ashr al Nabiy wa Biatuhu Qabla al Bi’tsah, Sirah al Rasul; Suwar Muqtabasah min al Qur’an, dan ad Dustur al Qur’an fi Su’uni al Hayat karya tokoh pemikir dan sejarawan. Dari pembacaannya tersebut, ia setidaknya menganalisa pandangannya menjadi dua bagian penting, yaitu; 1) metode tafsir nuzuli dan konsep ideal yang dikandungnya, 2) kemudian ia menariknya ke ranah kehidupan masyarakat pra-islam, pribadi dan keluarga nabi Muhammad saw, hingga kondisi masyarakat era kenabian melalui perspektif tafsir nuzuli Izzat Darwazah. Pun demikian, menurut penulis ada unsur penelitian lain dalam penulisan karya Aksin tersebut, yaitu beberapa model metode penelitian tafsir sekaligus, seperti: penelitian perbandingan, penelitian tokoh, dan penelitian tematik-nuzuli. Dimana walaupun diletakkan lebih sebagai gambaran umum tafsir nuzuli, setidaknya ia mengajak pembaca khususnya di Indonesia untuk meneelaah kembali khazanah tafsir nuzuli dan memandang mana yang sekira layak untuk dikembangkan dalam turats Islam ke-Indonesia-an.

GAYA BERHIJAB HIJABIE COMMUNITY: STUDI LIVING QUR’AN

Abstract

Ḥijāb or jilbāb no longer hold to cover the aurat only, but also demanded an interesting aspect, beautiful and unique. Jilbāb is no longer considered an ancient dress, but a fashion-able outfit. Muslimah who carries jilbāb fashion was gathering and organizing in one community. One such community is the Ḥijābie Community. As a community that must contest in the fashion market event, Ḥijābie must have a unique style from other communities. The uniqueness that emerged for example, ḥijāb style on which wearing a cowboy hat, not a helmet; or, ḥijāb style with Indian decoration; or, the style of hijāb with the roof of a European house, etc. From this background, the authors will analyze the style of this community Ḥijāb Ḥijābie using Pierre Bourdies theory of taste. In the end, the results of this study are: 1. The mention of the name Ḥijābie is built on the prestigious contained in the word Ḥijāb (Distinction) 2. Like Ḥijābie, it can be called a domain because it is in the battle for domination between agencies. 3. Like members of the Ḥijābie habitus in using Ḥijāb, they adhere to the Shafii school. This opinion is an opinion that is considered true because it becomes a general consciousness (doxa) 4. The capital that is in the realm of Ḥijābie is symbolic capital owned by Atika, Economic Capital owned by Atika and Cultural Capital owned by Pipit, et al. People who have this capital are called agencies.

Abstract

Abstract Islam is a religion that teaches its people to always learn. Islam is also a religion that positions science in a noble position. As a sign of the primacy of science in Islam is the nature of science is one of the obligatory properties of Allah SWT. Therefore, all prophets and messengers are sent to teach knowledge to the people they are developing. Science is an important knowledge that people need to answer all the problems of life. By having knowledge, the prosperous world life as well as the happier hereafter will be realized. Thats what science is for. Speaking of knowledge, in the Quran scattered the word science and all kinds of derivatives. Man, according to the Quran has the potential to gain knowledge and develop it with the permission of Allah. Therefore, scattered verses that commanded humans to take various ways to make that happen. Over and over again the Quran shows how high the position of the knowledgeable. According to the Quranic view - as the first revelation implies - science consists of two kinds. First, science acquired without human effort, is called ilm ladunni, as informed among others by the Quran. With science then all problems will be solved. Abstract

Abstract Hidayatut Thulab is one of the pesantren in Kediri, East Java, which publishes many books, especially the book of morality and interpretation. Achmad Asymuni and his son Achmad Yasin Asmuni as caretakers of the Hidayatut Thulab pesantren are among the ulamas and kiai in Kediri, who are very productive in their work. This article aims to analyze one of the books by Achmad Yasin Asymuni entitled Tafsir al-Fatihah, the book of interpretation of his work is usually called tafsir bimakna petuk. The analysis was carried out using the Islah Gusmian text analysis framework with regard to the technical aspects of writing and hermeneutic aspects. From this analysis it can be seen that in the technical aspect of writing this interpretation adopts coherent systematic, detailed presentation form with persuasive exposition language style and non-scientific reference sources. As for the hermeneutic aspect, this interpretation has a Sufic theological nuance. In addition, the book of interpretation of al-Fatihah uses makna gandul with Java-pegon script by affixing the symbol of the position of the word in Arabic grammar in almost all words Keyword : tafsir al-Fatihah, makna gandul, Java-pegon Pesantren dan Madrasah Hidayatut Thulab adalah salah satu pesantren di Kediri Jawa Timur yang banyak menerbitkan kitab-kitab terutama kitab akhlaq dan tafsir. Achmad Asymuni dan putranya Achmad Yasin Asmuni sebagai pengasuh pesantren Hidayatut Thulab termasuk diantara ulama dan kiai pesantren di Kediri yang sangat produktif dalam berkarya. Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisa salah satu kitab karya kiai Achmad Yasin Asymuni yang berjudul Tafsir al-Fatihah, kitab tafsir karya beliau biasa disebut dengan tafsir bimakna petuk. Analisa dilakukan dengan menggunakan kerangka analisis teks Islah Gusmian dengan memperhatikan aspek teknis penulisan dan aspek hermeneutik. Dari analisa tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa pada aspek teknis penulisan tafsir ini menganut sistematika runtut, bentuk penyajian rinci dengan gaya bahasa eksposisi persuasif dan sumber rujukan non ilmiah. Adapun pada aspek hermeneutis, tafsir ini bernuansa teologis sufistik dengan metode tafsir riwa>yat. Selain itu, kitab tafsir al-Fatihah ini menggunakan makna gandul dengan aksara Jawa pegon dengan dibubuhkan lambang kedudukan kata dalam tata bahasa Arab di hampir seluruh kata-kata.

Abstract

Indonesia memiliki ciri khas keislaman tersendiri dibanding negara asalnya, jazirah Arab. Masuknya Islam ke Indonesia juga memiliki cara-cara yang lebih halus, perniagaan dan budaya. Islam masuk ke Indonesia sama halnya dengan pertama kali Islam disebarkan di jazirah Arab, memiliki tokoh utama yang menjadi penyebab tersebarnya Islam. Wali Songo di tanah jawa merupakan salah satu contoh bagaimana Islam dengan ajarannya bisa diterima dengan baik. Sentralitas tokoh dalam hal ini, merupakan fungsi dari kemampuan individu dalam mempengaruhi suatu komunitas atau kelompok. Menurut Kurt Lewin, tarik menarik antara individu dan kelompok/lingkungan akan menciptakan sebuah perilaku tersendiri. Keberhasilan Nabi Muhammad terbilang sebagai personal yang mampu mempengaruhi environment (B=f(p.e)). Hal ini juga telah dibuktikan dengan ‘keberhasilan’ tokoh-tokoh gerakan radikal yang mampu membuat penafsiran sendiri untuk membenarkan ideologi mereka dan mengajak orang lain untuk masuk kelompok mrereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggalakkan kembali tafsir-tafsir keindonesiaan sebagai sebuah sumber untuk menangkal gerakan-gerakan radikal akibat penafsiran parsial. Keberadaan tafsir-tafsir al-Qur’an khas indonesia tidak hanya menjadi ranah akademik, namun perlu diaplikasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari sebagai bentuk respon kedaerahan terhadap lingkungan masing-masing.

Abstract

This article examined the interpretation of several verses in Tafsir al-Huda by Bakri Syahid, major in relation to gender issues. There are several themes studied, such as: the rewards of deeds of charity, the origin of the creation of man, polygamy, inheritance formula 1: 2, and leadership in the household. In this study, the author tried to understand the interpretation of Bakri with the interpretive-hermeneutical approach. This approach aims to describe and analyze the interpretation of the figures against the verses of the Qurān discussed in the theme of gender construction. The Quran interpretation that has been done by ulama can not be separated from the conditions of social culture surround them. Its called prior text. Tafsir al-Hudā, the interpretation of Bakris work is one of them. His interpretation is influenced by Javanese culture, beside his military and his work as academics. It seems when he interpreted verses about woman in the Quran, Bakri accommodated the culture for woman and man in Java. In addition, the writer analyzed the existence of gender bias or not in their interpretation by using gender equality theory Mansour Fakih. This theory suggests that gender racism and gender differences manifest in five ways: a) subordination, b) marginalization, c) stereotypes, d) violence, and e) double burden. In the first three interpretations (the rewards of deeds of deeds, the origins of human creation, and polygamy), Bakri seems to carry equality. While two other things (in terms of inheritance formula 1: 2 and household leadership), the interpretation appears to contain subordination and marginalization of women.

MENAKAR SEJARAH TAFSIR MAQĀṢIDĪ

Abstract

This article elaborate the historical root of tafsir maqasidi through these steps:1) describing the four periods of the history of tafsir; 2) deducing points, from each period, which could provide an idea on the history of tafsir maqashidi, either theoretically or practically; 3) and providing examples of tafsir maqashidi. This article is done by documentation, by searching, reading, and reviewing qualitative data to be collected and analyzed by deductive method. The results of the article show: 1) historical roots of tafsir maqa>s{idi> have an intertwined with the history of tafsir in general, namely: marḥalat al-tasīs, marḥalat al-taṣīl, marḥalat al-tafrī, and marḥalat al-tajdi>d. 2) among the points that can be explained related to the historical roots of tafsir maqas{idi> that is: a) in the tasīs period, there embryo maqāṣid al-shari>’ah. For example, there is a triple divorce in one majlis which is punishable by a single divorce at the time of the Prophet, during the time of Umar ra. punishable by three divorces, with consideration of urf, for the benefit; b) in the tafrī period, born three maqāṣid al-shari>’ah theories. first, al-Tūfī argues that the Shariah is none other than mas}lah}ah itself, so if nas} is contrary to mas}lah}ah then take precedence of mas}lah}ah (alā sabīl al-takhṣīṣ); secondly, al-Gazalī states that "mas}lah}ah" is nothing but the Sharia itself, so the theory of mas}lah}ah is taken inductively from nas {{; Third, al-Shāṭibī argues that mas}lah}ah and sharia are one unity, so if nas} that opposed to mas}lah}ah is qot}i> al-dalālah, then nas {is precedence, and if nas} that opposed to mas}lah}ah is dhanni> al-dalālah, then mas}lah}ah is precedence; c) in the tajdi>d period, classical maqāṣid concepts that are protection and preservation, altered by some contemporary Muslims such as Jasser Auda into a new concept of development and rights. The idea of contemporaryization of this terminology was then rejected by many fuqaha. 3) an example of the application of tafsir maqāṣidi> is the interpretation of the Quran surah al-Nu>r verse 2 in the context of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. In this case there is a taāruḍ between nas which enjoins the caning and "mas}lah}ah". The application of the Islamic Criminal law in Indonesia to date has not received sufficient political support, so it will lead to greater mafsadah. Therefore, mas}lah}ah takes precedence and is made as takhṣīṣ above nas}.
