Jurnal Riset Bisnis dan Manajemen Tirtayasa merupakan jurnal berkala ilmiah yang diterbitkan 2 kali dalam setahun. Fokus pada pengembangan ilmu Manajemen dan Bisnis, baik tinjauan teoritis maupum praktis yang berbasis riset, sehingga diharapkan menjadi media Ilmiah yang mendorong tercapainya integrasi antara kajian-kajian teoritis dan kajian-kajian praktis.Pengembangan pemikiran yang menjadi sasaran utama adalah pengembangan Manajemen Pemasaran, Keuangan, Manajemen Produksi dan Ooperasi, Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia, Manajemen Sistem Informasi, dan Manajemen Bisnis Syariah baik secara makro maupun mikro. Melalui media ini diharapkan terjadi sinergi antara Akademisi dan Praktisi dalam pengembangan keilmuan secara berkesinambungan sehingga mampu membangun sebuah main stream keilmuan di bidang manajemen dan bisnis yang komprehensif.

Abstract

his study analyzes the effect of integrated marketing communication variables on brand equity to improve marketing performance. This research was conducted at Sekolah TinggiIlmu Ekonomi (STIE) Bina Bangsa Banten. Based on the results of the literature review there is a positive influence on brand equity and marketing performance and this is supported by integrated marketing communication variables such as the use of appropriate advertising media, the application of good personal sales, the promotion of appropriate sales and effective direct marketing. Thus there are seven hypotheses proposed: This research uses 108 questionnaires collected from STIE Bina Bangsa Banten as the sample. The questionnaire data were analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis tool in AMOS 22.0program to test the causality relationship of the proposed hypotheses. The results of data analysis show that the research model has a good fit/fit and all research hypotheses can be proven. The test of the proposed hypothesis shows the result that all hypotheses have met the specified condition of CR> 2.00 with probability (p)) <0.05. The conclusion is that advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, and direct marketing have a positive effect on brand equity and the brand equity has a positive effect on marketing performance, and advertising and direct marketing have a positive effect on marketing performance. This study provides some limitations of the research and future research agenda that can be done as further research.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to know influence intrinsic motivation,  transformational leadership on discipline to improve employee performance. Independent variable in this research is intrinsic motivation and transformational leadership, the dependent variable is employee performance, and the intervening variable is discipline. This research is held in Kantor Kementerian Agama Kota Serang. The sample is 75 (seventy-five) respondents. The primary data were collected using a questioner that consist of a statement list and analyzed by SEM (Structural Equation Modelling) using SmartPLS statistic software. Five hypotheses constructed in this research there were forth hypotheses are accepted, intrinsic motivation is influential positive and significant on discipline, transformational leadership is influential positive and significant on discipline, transformational leadership is influential positive and significant on employee performance, and discipline is influential positive and significant one employee performance. While one other hypothesis is rejected, intrinsic motivation is influential positive but not significant on employee performance.

Abstract

Todays steel industry is very competitive competition. Therefore, each company is required to improve the quality and make the right business strategy to improve company performance. This study aims to clarify the effect of occupational safety and the working environment of the job performance and job satisfaction as an intervening variable in PT. Krakatau Posco. Cilegon Banten. The study was conducted by taking samples using non-probability sampling technique, which is a technique that does not provide opportunities or equal opportunity for each element or member of the population to be selected into the sample. While the technique of taking informants using purposive sampling technique is a technique for determining sample with some specific considerations that aim that the data obtained will be more representative. Collecting respondent data obtained from 90 employees of PT. Krakatau Posco Cilegon, with a questionnaire consisting of questions and statements. Respondents answers to questions and statements were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively, and the answers were analyzed with methods of data analysis techniques Partial Least Square using version SmartPLS 2.0.m3. The analysis showed that the effect of occupational safety on job satisfaction is positive and significant. Furthermore, that the effect on job satisfaction working environment that is positive and significant. Occupational safety and influence on the performance of the work that is positive and significant. And the influence of the working environment on the performance of the work as well as a positive and significant effect of job satisfaction on job performance positively and significantly.

Abstract

 Teacher role in challenges organization and reaching its objectives can happen when education teacher speaks apply what has gathered in training to students, the compensation, and motivation to excel. This study aims to see if formal training and compensation to depend on the intrinsic motivation and performance teacher at Yayasan Pendidikan Informatika. In this research, the methodology used is research causality. To answer the hypothesis using data analysis Structural Equation Model (SEM) using PLS (Partial Least Square). Based on the results of testing SEM obtained formal training have had a positive impact and significant impact on motivation intrinsic teachers, compensation influential positive and significantly to motivation intrinsic teachers, formal training has a positive and significant impact on teacher performance, compensation it has some positive effects and significantly correlates with is placed on teacher performance, Intrinsic motivation has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of leverage proxyed by Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and profitability proxy with Return On Assets (ROA) to company value proxy with Price to Book Value (PBV) through dividend policy proxy with Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) as an intervening. The study was conducted on 37 manufacturing companies using multiple regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 19.00. The result of the research shows that leverage has significant positive effect to company value; profitability has a significant positive effect on firm value; leverage has no effect on dividend policy; profitability has a positive effect on dividend policy and dividend policy has a positive effect on firm value. The dividend policy can’t mediate the indirect effect between leverage and profitability on firm value.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the effect of intrinsic motivation, interpersonal communication and transformational leadership on job satisfaction to improve employee performance. This reserch consist of five variables, these variables were tree independent variables (exogen), one dependent variable (Endogen), and one intervening variable. The three independent variables were intrinsic motivation, interpersonal communication, and transformational leadership. Whereas, the dependent variable was employee performance, and the intervening variable was job satisfaction. This study was conducted at the Office of the Ministry of Religion in Serang Banten. The purposive sampling technique was used based on judgment sampling to 81 respondents. The primary data was collected through a checklist and open-ended questioner. Data were analyzed by Structural Equation Modelling technique using SmartPLS software. There six of Seven hypotheses that have been supported or accepted: intrinsic motivation positive and significant impact on job satisfaction, interpersonal communication positive and significant impact on job satisfaction, transformational positive and significant impact on job satisfaction, intrinsic motivation positive and significant impact on employee performance, transformational leadership positive and significant impact on employee performance, and job satisfaction positive and significant impact on employee performance. While there was one hypothesis is unsupported or rejected: interpersonal communication positive but insignificant impact on employee performance.

Abstract

New product marketing through brand extension strategies that are supported by product quality which said to be successful if the extension products are acceptable and make better consumer decisions. This study aims to determine the direct or indirect influence of brand extension and product quality on customer purchasing decisions through brand image Enduro Matic G. Research using survey method conducted on 110 customers Enduro Matic G in Serang City. Data analysis using Structural Equation Model of Partial Least Square (SEM PLS) with the result of research obtained 1) brand extension have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decision; 2) product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decision; 3) brand extension has no effect on brand image; 4) product quality has a positive and significant effect on brand image and 5) brand image has no effect on customer purchasing decision of Enduro Matic-G. Brand extensions and good product quality are proven to make better customer purchasing decisions, but can not make the Enduro Matic G brand image better in the eyes of its customers.

Abstract

In the world of work the importance of soft skills (soft competency), career planning is needed in improving employee performance and the influence of quality training in improving soft skills, career planning and employee performance. This study aims to determine the effect of soft skills and career planning on employee performance with the quality of training as a moderating variable. Indentent variable in this research is soft skill and career planning, moderating variable is training quality and dependent variable is employee performance. This research was conducted at PT. Krakatau Tirta Industri Cilegon. In this study the sample is taken as many as 105 employees from a total of 142 employees of PT. Krakatau Tirta Industri Cilegon with proportionate random sampling technique and primary data were collected by using quesioner in the form of statement list and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of Smart Partial Least Square (PLS) statistical software. The results showed that soft skill had positive and significant effect on employee performance, career planning had positive and significant effect on employee performance and quality of training had positive and significant effect to employee performance. While the quality of training is not proven to have a positive and significant impact on soft skills, neither does the quality of training have a positive and significant impact on career planning.

Abstract

Aims of this studi is to measure the relationship of Extrinsic Motivation, Physical Work Environment, Employee Job Satisfaction (as intervening variable) and Employee Performance. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis was used with tools or software SmartPLS. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis was used with tools or software using SmartPLS. Based on the results of the mediation effect that the VAF value of 0.854 is categorized as full mediation and the effect is positive, its means that Extrinsic Motivation had influence on Employee Performance throught Job Satisfaction. The results showed that Extrinsic Motivation has not been able to improve Employee Performance directly, but if Extrinsic Motivation of employees increased and able to influence Employee Satisfaction then indirectly improve Employee Performance. On the other hand, the results of the mediation calculation showed that the Physical Work Environment has not been able to improve Employee Performance directly, but if the Physical Work Environment increases and is able to influence Job Satisfaction Employee then indirectly improve Employee Performance. Its means that the improvement of Employee Performance must be through Job Satisfaction first. Theoretically, this model is a full mediation, where the relationship between Physical Work Environment directly to Employee Performance has no effect, but the relationship between Physical Work Environment to Job Satisfaction and from Job Satisfaction to Employee Performance is significant.
