Abstract

Fakhruddin Mangkusasmito, Tsani Hendro Nugroho in this paper explain that One of the important control system in the manufacturing industry is the position control. Mainly in the Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine, work-table motion control system is used to regulate work-table movements when the machine process a workpieces on it. On standard machines, work-table movements are two axes (X-Y), which is driven by a motor and lead-screw. The discussion in this research only focus on one axis assuming that the systems on both axes are the same and independent. In this research, MATLAB is used to describe the behaviour of the system and also to design appropriate control system in continuos system using state feedback linear controller such as pole placement , tracking system, full order compensator and reduced order compensator. The goal is to obtain a fast response with a rapid rise time and settling time to a step command, while not exceeding an overshoot of 5%. The specification are than a percent overshoot equal to1%, 0,05s settling time and 0,03s rise time. The performance of each control methods are simulated and analyzed to decide the best suit control method for the systems with such criteria. And the result verify that using tracking system controller method achieve such specification with 0% overshoot, 0,04s settling time and 0,028s rise time.

Abstract

Device for controlling liquid/water level using the floatless method uses the character of liquid conductivity as an electric current carrying medium. Excitation voltage is generated by the controller and passed to the electrode through an insulated conductor cable. The electrode is submerged in a tank or liquid storage vessel and directly becomes the lower limit and upper limit of the liquid level. Omron 61F is one of the industry-standard floatless control devices that is simple, compact and relatively inexpensive and easily available on the market. Some applications for controlling liquid levels such as water supply and drainage can be done easily and simple wiring. Omron 61F provides a variety of controller types that are tailored to the application conditions and the type of liquid used, ranging from purified clean water, dirty water, salt water, to several types of acidic liquids.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negeri yang subur, banyak tanaman yang dapat tumbuh, antara lain  tanaman obat, tetapi sampai saat ini belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal, sehingga perlu adanya sosialisasi dan pelatihan kepada masyarakat. Adanya Pelatihan Pembuatan  Taman Dan Serbuk Tanaman  Obat  Di Pondok Pesantren  Mahasiswa Nurul Hikmah Di Kecamatan Tembalang, Kotamadya Semarang, merupakan  transfer ilmu dan penerapan teknologi tepat guna kepada masyarakat khususnya di Pondok Pesantren Mahasiswa Nurul Hikmah. Pemanfaatan tanaman obat selain untuk dikonsumsi juga untuk penghijauan atau penghias halaman rumah. Pelatihan ini mampu memberikan edukasi kepada mahasiswa di Pondok Pesantren Mahasiswa Nurul Hikmah cara menanam, merawat tanaman obat yang baik dan benar. Indonesia is a fertile country, many plants can grow, including medicinal plants, but until now it has not been utilized optimally, so there needs to be socialization and training for the community. Training on the Making of Parks and Medicinal Powder at the Islamic Boarding School of Nurul Hikmah In Tembalang Subdistrict, Semarang Municipality, is a transfer of knowledge and the application of appropriate technology to the community, especially in the Islamic Boarding School of Nurul Hikmah. Use of medicinal plants in addition to being consumed also for reforestation or decorating the home page. This training is able to provide education to students at the Islamic Boarding School Student Nurul Hikmah. The wisdom of how to plant, treat medicinal plants that are good and right.

Abstract

Danu Nur Ashifa, Arkhan Subari in this paper explain that in a distribution network of 20 KV, short circuit interference often occurs. Short circuit interference will produce a fault current that is felt by protection equipment. Each fault current will differ depending on the distance of the interference. Determining the distance of interference can not be displayed in SCADA, SCADA will only display the amount of interference and which equipment works. Determination of distance is carried out after analysis by the officer. Based on this matter the compiler makes a simulation tool where the tool can monitor the location of the disturbance from the nearest protective equipment that feels a single phase short circuit interference. The simulation tool consists of Arduino Mega 2560 which functions as a control center. The input used is a potentiometer as a simulator of the impedance magnitude that occurs during a single phase short circuit where the potentiometer will provide input in the form of a signal. And Omron LY2N relay which functions as protection equipment. After the experiment, the results obtained are that the tool can determine the location of interference from the nearest protection equipment based on changes in the bits read by Arduino. The larger the bits read by Arduino, the more distant the interference occurs from the protection equipment. 125 bits will produce an Arduino impedance calculation of 2.6 ohms so that the fault location is 0 km from PMT while 1023 bits will produce an impedance calculation of 21.30 ohms so that the fault location is 4.5 km from SSO.

Abstract

Kukuh Karyadi, Jatmiko Endro Suseno in this paper explain that Water is a necessity of life that is very important for mankind. The availability of clean water has been sought to be fulfilled in various ways. One of them is by making a clean water treatment plant that can process water that is not yet suitable for consumption to be more feasible and ready to be consumed for everyday life. The operation of water treatment plant is still manually operated such as in the Iron Removal Filter (IRF) control system so that the processing is not easy to operate. To facilitate the operation of a clean water treatment unit, a control system based on a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is created on the Iron Removal Filter (IRF) processing unit. Control system consisting of PLC, relay circuit, power supply and Human Machine Interface (HMI), works to control the clean water processing unit including controlling the process on the IRF automatically. Also made a prototype of a water treatment plant consisting of an aerator unit, an IRF unit, a storage tank, several pumps and several control valves to be controlled by the control system in operation. The control system uses PLC as a control center because PLC is a controller that is simple, easy to program and very reliable as already widely used in the industrial world. The PLC brand used is Omron because it is cheap, reliable and has software named CX-Programmer which is easy in programming. The control system uses laptop computer as an HMI in the operation. HMI uses VTScada software and is connected to a PLC using OPC CX-Server software. The control system that is made can control the clean water processing unit in the form of a prototype. Operation on HMI is so easy and has a very attractive appearance. So it is highly recommended to be used in the actual clean water treatment unit

Abstract

Transportasi laut menjadi penghubung kebutuhan dan perekonomian antar pulau di Indonesia, daya angkut dibuat seoptimal mungkin untuk dapat menyuplai kebutuhan masyarakat. Kapal yang ditinjau adalah jenis kapal barang peti kemas. Perencanaan bentuk lambung kapal dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor diantaranya adalah dari segi kegunaan kapal yang akan dibangun. Dari perhitungan hambatan dapat diketahui berapa Trust Horse Power sehingga dapat digunakan untuk menghitung efisiensi propulsi kapal. Kapal harus memiliki propulsi untuk melawan seluruh hambatan yang mungkin terjadi pada lambung kapal. Dari hasil analisis kapal barang peti kemas dengan kapasitas 100 teus memiliki daya mesin sebesar 1530 HP dengan sistem penggerak ganda dengan peletakan kamar mesin berada di belakang kapal. Tipe baling-baling yang di rencanakan adalah fixed pitch propeller B - 4. 40  , dengan bahan material bronze . Ukuran pitch daun baling-baling 1650 mm dengan diameter baling-baling sebesar 1850 mm.
