Abstract

Budi Utomo, in this paper explain that offshore drilling carried out to obtain crude oil through the oil wells. The means that must exist in the operation of offshore drilling is a bridge structure (plate form) as a place to put the drilling equipment. Known two kinds of platforms, that is platforms permanent (fixed) which stands on the feet of reinforced concrete, and the bridge is not fixed like swamp barges, drilling ship (floaters) and jack-up rig. Jack up rig is one of the offshore rigs that have the ability to elevation in accordance with a sea depth of drilling. Drilling equipment is a range of equipment that is prepared in such a way, so that such a drill rod, and all this equipment has a hole inside that allows for fluid or mud circulation.   Key word: Drilling equipment

Abstract

Heny Kusumayanti, Widi Astuti, RTD. Wisnu Broto, in this paper explain that fish is one of the food-stuff which liked many and consumed by societies besides as commodity of export. In general fish quickly experience of the process of obsolence if compared to other food-stuff is so that required by  technology processing of fish to length then energy keep him, one of them is processing of fish become shredded fish. Region sub-district of Mangunharjo have big potency in fishery area, by halves societies work as farmer of fishpond. With existence of training to society about expected by society have adequate knowledge so that can exploit the area potency of to improve his life level. Activity method which used in this devotion is method deliver a lecture, method’s practice of concerning way making of shredded fish, and question and answer method. The result show that very enthusiastic society to making process  of shredded fish. Require to be done  by creativity and innovation in course of processing of shredded fish so that yielded product can certifiable and better. Keyword : Fish, Processing of fish, Shredded fish.

Abstract

Sutomo, Murni, Rahmat, An internal combustion process of fuel will works effectively if the fuel’s density and viscosity is lower so we would like to use a heater in order to decrease the density and viscosity of the fuel. Based on this condition, we would like to use an electrolizer and a diesel engine to improve the fuel consumption. Electrolizer will increases the gas reaction so we hope that fuel consumption rate will decrease. The result of this research is the effective temperature of fuel is 50oC – 60oC will produce the effective combustion. The fuel consumption decreased in 6 kW is 0.12 lt/kWH. Abstract

Mohd Ridwan, in this paper explain that new replacement main engine and propeller ship needs to be done with technical economic considerations. Main engine maintenance costs that have entered the age of 15 years improved each annualy, and fuel consumption increases. So that needs to be done renovations main engine by selecting the main engine in accordance with the propeller or propeller can also perform renovations. Abstract

Didik Ariwibowo, in this paper explain that energy audit activities conducted through several phases, namely: the initial audit, detailed audit, analysis of energy savings opportunities, and the proposed energy savings. Total energy consumed consists of electrical energy, fuel, and materials in this case is water. Electrical energy consumption data obtained from payment of electricity accounts for a year while consumption of fuel and water obtained from the payment of material procurement. From the calculation data, IKE hotels accounted for 420.867 kWh/m2.tahun, while the IKE standards for the hotel is 300 kWh/m2.tahun. Thus, IKE hotel included categorized wasteful in energy usage. The largest energy consumption on electric energy consumption. Largest electric energy consumption is on the air conditioning (AC-air conditioning) that is equal to 71.3%, and lighting and electrical equipment at 27.28%, and hot water supply system by 4.44%. Electrical energy consumption in AC looks very big. Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the statutes, the profile of energy use by air conditioning at the hotel by 48.5%. With these considerations in the AC target for audit detail as the next phase of activity. The results of a detailed audit analysis to find an air conditioning system energy savings opportunities in pumping systems. Recommendations on these savings is the integration of automation on the pumping system and fan coil units (FCU). The principle of energy conservation in the pumping system is by installing variable speed drives (VSD) pump drive motor to adjust speed according to load on the FCU. Load variations FCU provide input on the VSD pumps to match. Adaptation is predicted pump can save electricity consumption up to 65.7%. Keywords: energy audit, IKE, AC

Abstract

Ignatius Chistiawan, in this paper explain that in the management of buildings, frequent damage to buildings due to the increasing load beyond the load plan. Safety of building users to the dangers of building collapse is the main priority. The addition of load beyond the load on the building plans because of changes in building functions often lead to the collapse of the building. Structural strength evaluation to the condition of existing building is required and when it is necessary to give reinforcement to the plate, beams and columns before adding a new load. additional reinforcement is one way of strengthening the column. Research was focused on performance evaluation of structure on existing condition relate at regulation of the Procedure of Concrete Structure Calculation for the SNI 2847-2002. From some previous research, the basics of analysis and design of flexible and practical calculation examples retrofitting columns with the addition of reinforcement can be concluded that this method is easy and practically implemented and can improve the flexural strength of reinforced concrete columns. Abstract

Juli Mriharjono, Nazaruddin Sinaga, in this paper explain that a driving cycle model can be used to estimate fuel consumption and exhaust gas emission. Driving cycle varies significantly for traffic conditions. Testing of driving cycle model, for a specific vehicle, is needed so that able to be used as fuel consumption and emissions estimation on real traffics. This paper studied driving cycle model in a laboratory. The EPA standard was reffered as the testing procedure. The vehicle used was Honda City 1.5L fueling with gasoline (premium - in Indonesia). The result shows that driving cycle model profile meets with the EPA standard. Changing gears, which affect to vehicle speed, was not affect significantly to fuel consumption which indicated by constant AFR during the cycle. The factors that cause the difference speed of vehicle were gas pedal operated manually, timing of changing gear, and gear operation time duration. Abstract

Priyo Sasmoko, in this paper explain that the need of electric power recently progressively complex, not only the requirement of availability of electricity, but the quality of energy have become prime facie demand. Studies of electricity quality have been conducted by many experts, one of them is about harmonic. Harmonic represent waving current or tension which is tension distortion at electric power system mains so that can result unideal waveform. The study of harmonic required appliance or obyek which need to be checked. In this research Simulator Generator Harmonik is made  a harmonic generator module which can deputize the appliance or obyek yielding harmonic with harmonic component and the THD which can be varried. This module works by dividing one cycle of mains become some slots so it can be got harmonic component as desired. Some disadvanteges come up because of : the time of industrial process will be more longer and production cost increase necesery.To prevent the growth of scale, the experiment must be done. Researcher try to answer this problem so an experimental about kinetic study of gypsum scaling established. Flowrate would be a parameter with assume that it has effect on reaction flow. Abstract

Indartono, in this paper explain that soybean seed quality decline if easy packaging and storage techniques are not good. This research aims to study the technique of packing and room temperature on soybean seed quality during the four months of storage. Research conducted at the Laboratory of Postharvest and Alsintan, BPTP Central Java, with a Completely Randomized Design 3 (three) factors and two replications. The first factor varieties (Burangrang, Willis, and Baluran), the second factor technique packaging (vacuum and without vacuum), and the third factor storage temperature (27-29 ° C and 6 ° C). During the four storage observed changes in water content, shrinkage and the weight of soybean seed germination. The results showed that the shrinkage weight, water content and temperature of storage space does not give real effect to the power of germination for 4 four months of storage, and storage techniques vacuum (vacuum) to give an average power of germination is higher than without vacuum treatment, but a statistically not significantly different from other treatments by Duncan´s test 95% confidence level for all varieties Key words: soybean, room temperature storage, packaging techniques, the germinated
