Abstract

Puskesmas (Pusat Kesehatan Masyarakat) are the direct service community of government health agencies to serve and should pay attention to the level of service to patients. The problems mostly is the lack of knowledge and skills of medical personnel and administrative personnel in dealing with patients and inform patient illness. To improve the service to the patient is the concept of DMAIC improvement with five stages. In this research, the worst cause of service is that the employees of Puskesmas X do not have the knowledge to answer the patients question with the percentage of 62.8%. So the improvement is focused on the five causes of disabled services, which occurred in December 2016. Kata kunci: Kualitas Layanan, Lean Service,  Six Sigma

Abstract

Jenang is one of the special food from the Kudus City of Central Java Province. The process of making jenang through several stages, namely the process of material insertion, the process of mixing the material while cooked with the mix, the process of printing in a baking sheet and packaging process. In the process of this jenang packaging is done by workers who sit on a wooden chair with no foam pads and no back support. Sitting position, judging from the aspect of ergonomics sitting position is less comfortable. Therefore, it is necessary to design seats for ergonomic jenang packaging operators. The method used in designing this chair is by descriptive analysis, with the seat dimension approach to anthropometry of workers body. Required data include anthropometric data of workers packaging body dimensions and data obtained from existing research. Then the data is processed to be applied to the design. This design is a prototype that will be measured and applied to the packaging hood of the worker. The purpose of this research is applying ergonomic chair to jenang packaging worker, so it is expected to improve work position of jenang packaging worker and reduce discomfort that can cause fatigue. The result of the research shows that with the application of ergonomic chair design to the jenang packaging worker, there is improvement of work position on the jenang packaging worker and decrease the level of discomfort that happened to the neck, back, round, buttock and elbow of the jenang packaging worker.

Abstract

The development of industry in the field of electronics is increasingly developing along with the development of technology. The negative impact of these developments is Cd waste (Cadmium). This study aims to measure the absorption capacity of hydroxyapatite nanoparticles in absorption of Cadmium metal which is usually present in electrolytic industrial waste. The absorption of Cd metal is carried out through the technique of hydroxyapatite nanoparticles. The absorption of Cadmium metal is carried out by heating 75oC and carried out by precipitation technique of hydroxyaptite Nanoparticles. Atomic absorption spectrophotometry instrument tools are required in this study. The absorption results show an absorption of 66.36% of the cadmium solution or has a Quantity of 6.77 to the hydroxyapatite nanoparticles.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the standard time, workload and the amount of labor required in a single cycle of manufacturing work to know the production capacity. Work time measurement using Stopwatch Time Study and Work Sampling, adjustment factor using westinghouse method. Elements of work in this study consists of grinding process, boiling process, filtering process, the addition of vinegar, the process of formation and cutting process. From the working elements, the value of cycle time in the process of making tofu in the overall work element is 83.51 minutes, normal time of 95.19 minutes and standard time of 105.66 minutes, with a daily standard output of 3,634 pcs / day. Working load on production process is 0.26 minutes and workforce is 3 workers.

Abstract

In the small and medium enterprises, the human factor is still very important in determining the productivity of a production system. However, safety and comfort are often overlooked, as is the case with profile companies in Indah Property. This is influenced by the condition of the companys work facilities that are less ergonomic, so it can endanger the workers body. This study aims to identify and analyze the workers posture in the printing and shipping department using the Ovako Working Posture Analysis System (OWAS) method. This study begins by evaluating workers posture with and analyzing by OWAS method. From the OWAS method, worker attitudes of the Department of Printing are less than 50% of all workers classified as category 2. The work attitude in the Delivery Department is categorized as 4 by 57.14% for Dedi workers. While corrective action on the Department of Printing on the segment bending, bending and twisting, bending forward and sideways, the legs are standing resting on both legs straight, standing on one straight leg, with category 2 fixing in the future and category 3 that fix as soon as possible . At the Delivery Department for bending, twisting and tilting, bending and twisting, bending forward and sideways, standing resting on both legs with bent knees, standing resting on both legs with bent knees, kneeling on one leg or both knees, with category 2 ie fixing in the future and category 3 that is fixing as soon as possible.

Abstract

Water is the main problem of natural resources needed for the livelihood of the people, even by all living creatures which include quality and quantity who are unable to meet the needs of the community.  Number  of  pollution  in the river makes people use other water  sources such  as ground  water. Water  pollution characterized by a change in the physical, chemical and  biological water. Due to human activity as the main cause of heavy metal contamination Cadmium (Cd) on the marine environment and cause disturbances in biological systems because it can easily accumulate in sediments and organisms. National Food and Drug Agency of the Republic of Indonesian (BPOM RI) tested the quality of water production of refill drinking water  in 5 cities find the 9 products containing Cadmium (Cd), which exceeds the maximum  allowed. By because that, for in anticipation of heavy metal pollution Cadmium (Cd) in water drink with method simple randomized sampling 6 samples refill drinking water  that is taken is Salsabila Batam Center,  Pak De Qua Tiban, Fun Qua Batu Ampar, Fresh Qua Bengkong, Salwa Qua Batu Aji, and Alam Qua Piayu sub-district of  Batam city derived from the raw water source of drinking water for testing of heavy metals Cadmium (Cd) in the laboratory PT. Sucofindo Batam. The metode analysis used by the standard of the Standart Methods for Water and Waste Water American Public Health Association, 22 nd eddition  2012 and  standard analysis for  parameters of  heavy metals Cadmium (Cd), which method 3111B (Direct Air-Acetylene Flame Method). Analysis research laboratory PT.Sucofindo Batam for heavy metal Cadmium (Cd) from to six sample obtained of  < 0.003 mg/L, this means still located below  the quality standards set by Regulation of the Minister of Health No. 492 Year 2010 of 0.003 mg/L.

Abstract

The process of transporting waste in Taman Cipta Asri housing is done by garbage truck. Trucks carrying garbage into the housing and take the garbage that is in front of every house residents Park Cipta Asri. Taman Cipta Asri housing is divided into 4 regions. The number of garbage trucks carrying garbage is one truck for each residential area. The performance of the garbage truck has never been analyzed so that people can not assess its effectiveness. The approach used is a single server queue theory with limited population. The number of houses serviced by garbage trucks in one area is limited and fixed. The house is designated as a customer if the amount of garbage in front of the house is more than 5 bags or more than 20 kg. Some data to be observed is the arrival rate and speed of service. Based on these data can be calculated several parameters such as queue level, object time in the queue, the probability of objects in the queue system, and the probability of a number of objects in the queue. This research was conducted in Taman Cipta Asri Housing of Batam City. The results show that single server queue theory with limited population can be applied to analyze queue system performance in garbage transport process

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan aktivitas antioksidan berdasarkan perbedaan jenis pelarut pada ekstrak Pithecellobium jiringa (kulit jengkol), dengan waktu maserasi selama 24 jam. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode  DPPH sehingga menghasilkan IC50 sebagai berikut : untuk pelarut Heksan sebesar 2688,0460 mg/mL,  Pelarut etil asetat sebesar 1279,2719 mg/mL sedangkan metanol sebesar  51,1387 mg/mL.

Abstract

Ministry of Transportation’s regulation no. 10/2011 defines that every public service, including public transportation, need to meet the minimum standard of service set by the government. It means that it has to qualify on criterias such as regularity, equality, accessability, comfort, safety and security. This research aims to find out the feasible design of Batam Trans Bus stop that fit the criterias.To achieve the goal, this research use qualitative technique, to gain th e information about service performance and sort the users need, and quantitative technique to draw the conclusions. This research also use Qualify Function Deployment (QFD) and Anthropometri. After the observation and measurement analysison some of bus stop in Batam , as example bus stop at Kepri Mall, Batamindo and kavling Baru, it had been found that facilities at Batam Trans Bus Stop haven’t met the minimum standard defines by regulation no.10/2011. Benches, stairs, pavilions, roofs, are facilities that are needed to be upgraded based on user of bus stop. The size differences on facilities are also being the users concern, such as benches height and width, stairs height and doors size.

Abstract

Winterizing is a limited form separation of saturated fatty acids and unsaturated fatty acids, to remove wax and fat has a higher boiling point. To obtain the product specifications, parameters must be control  is cloud point ≤ 7 oC. Response surface method use as a tool to determine the optimum operating conditions in the process of winterizing, the control parameter C16 feed composition, temperature, time. Feed C16 varied 19%, 20%, 21%, temperature varied 10 oC, 10 oC, 11 °C, time varied 14 hours, 14,5 hours, 15 hours for order I and central composite disgn in order II. The results showed feed C16 and temperature are significantly influence the cloud point. Model is Y = 6.920 + 1,429X1 0,636X2 + 1,030X22 1,080X12 - 0,650X1X2. Winterizing process optimization point C16 feed obtained 19.20% and temperature 9.93 oC.
