Abstract

Abstract: Efforts have long been focused on trying to explain and justify riba (Usury) and dozens of theories have emerged in this area. This approach went to some Islamic economics writers, who also tried to justify and interpret interest in accordance with the principles of Islamic economics. This is one of the most important economic topics in the past and present, and although the writings on some of the elements of this subject began about half a century ago, but the observer renewed the introduction of these views and ideas in different formats in the present era, Islamic economics issues only show a picture of this subject for discussion. Therefore, this discussion aims to collect these opinions and theories and evaluate them in order to present them to the new discussioners - with different scientific backgrounds - in a suitable manner that serves to discuss this subject and clarify the general framework for it. This discussion will focus briefly on the presentation of some of these theories, opinions and justifications and discuss the hypotheses of these views and theories. Keywords: Riba, Justification

Abstract

AbstractThe renewal of Islamic law has always coincided with the development and renewal of thought in the Muslim world with respect to the sacred text and discussing topics more closely related to philosophy or thought. Of the many prominent figures of Islamic law thinking are contemporary Islamic legal thought, such as Fazlur Rahman which offers specific moral and legal ideal terms in the meaning of texts and the early division of Islamic tradition, Muhammad Shahrur offers theoretical limits in the provisions of Islamic law, and Abdullah Ahmad An-Naim who offers an alternative answer based on the theory of nasakh in melalukan reformulation of Islamic law that arises because the theories or results of traditional Islamic legal thinking is no longer relevant to the circumstances of the times. So the offer of renewal of contemporary Islamic legal methods such as Fazlur Rahman, Muhammad Shahrur, and Abdullah Ahmad An-Naim. Contemporary thinking is applied in the Islamic law reformation method which can be used as a renewal in Islamic family law such as Rahmans double motion theory, Shahrurs boundary theory, and nasakh theory as an alternative answer by Naim in the context of renewal of family law in accordance with the objectives of Islamic law applies in every place and time (shalih likulli zaman wal makan).Keywords: theory and application, contemporary, renewal, Islamic family law

Abstract

Reading is an important language skill for students. Through reading, students are able to get  lots  of  information from various  reading sources. However, after observation and interview  are  conducted, it shows that the ability of interpretative  reading comprehension for the students still needs to be improved. Therefore,  the  researcher thinks that the improvement of the students’ ability in interpretative reading comprehension can be done by using constructivism approach.In relation with the effort to improve the ability in interpretative reading comprehension, the specific problem limitation studied is as follow. How far is the implementation of constructivism approach in pre reading stage, while reading stage, and post reading stage can improve the ability of interpretative reading comprehension for the students of the grade? In accordance with it, the specific objective of this research is to describe the implementation of constructivism approach in pre reading stage, while reading stage, and post reading stage.Keywords: Constructivism  approach, interpretative reading comprehension

Abstract

The focus of this research is to find out how the process and results of Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) to deal with anxiety in patients Extrapyramidal Syndrome student of UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. The subjects in this research was a student of the Faculty of Da’wa and Communication UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya 3rd semester who suffer from anxiety disorders because Extrapyramidal syndrome since the age of 10 years. This research uses qualitative research methods, with a case study and comparative descriptive analysis, the researchers compared before and after the counseling process using Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT). The results of this research showed that the process of Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) in dealing with anxiety in patients Extrapyramidal syndrome using three techniques on REBT approaches (techniques disputing irrational belief, rational emotive imagery techniques, and modelling techniques) that do quite successful. It can be seen from the values obtained in the calculation by the standard test with a percentage of 50% - 75% which can be considered quite successful.Keywords: Rational Emotive Behavior therapy, Anxiety

Abstract

This research is motivated by the inequality of character development of students, particularly confidence when speaking in public. This study aims to answer the problem formulation which is reflected in the research hypothesis that modelling techniques effective in increasing the confidence of students in Pondok Pesantren Assalafi Al-Fithrah Surabaya (Ha). The approach used is a quantitative approach with the research methods true experimental design, pretest-posttest control group design. Samples were taken by purposive from the population are students of class Istidad Ulya  A and B. The results of data analysis showed that the modeling techniques effective in improving students confidence when speaking in public in Pondok Pesantren Assalafi Al-Fithrah Surabaya.Keywords: Modeling Techniques, Self Confidence

Abstract

In the globalization era, people are increasingly competitive and increasing their ability to become productive human beings. Human development is the main thing in doing change and progress in life. In the discussion Human development in the era of globalization which is a world program through the unity of nations is inseparable from the study of Islam. So that Islam as a religion can enter to become a very important discussion in development issues of course. National development becomes the main task of the government from the regional level to the province, thus providing human resources as a form of mover and its managers. Policies on human resource development always experience dynamics and perkembangnnya in terms of sociology, anthropology and culture. Islam as the majority religion in Indonesia becomes a determinant and has a major influence on development issues nationally. Islam and human development in the era of globalization becomes the most important thing to build Indonesia into a culture, character and progress. Thus the development process becomes the main part to reconstruct the infrastructure, human, network and every aspect. Construction in religious thought that is the study of Islamic thought in the development process becomes the goal for tercipatanya development in the era of globalization. Abstract

The Principal leadership model is a core factor in the development of the religious culture. The school  is one of the Model School of Iman and taqwa schools. Thus, it interested to be researched about the Principal leadership model in developing the religious culture in the school.            This article focused on namely (1) the principal developed the religious culture through two leaderships models namely; (a) Situational leadership model is when a principal assigning works according to each expertise. This means that the headmaster must be good at reading the situation and condition to each educator and the staff. And thus, each one does the better and responsible works, (b) transformational leadership model is a model providing priority to the opportunity and encouraging all workers of the school in order to wok in the sublime values. And thus, all the staffs do not get insisted in optimally participating to achieve the ideal goals in the school. (2) the used strategies are namely; (a) appling the religious practise to be inured as a habit, (b) providing exemplary by doing to relate alttitude and behaviour in a day, (c) integrating the common subjects to the islamic subjects, (d) developing the islamic extracurricular activity that is through the Osis Programmings.There were discovered that the majority ones appreciate the minority ones. Meanwhile, the minority ones respect the majority ones. And thus, it is able to build the harmonious and religious atmospheres in the school. Keyword     :   Principal Leadership Model, Religious Culture.

Abstract

Badan Kontak Majelis Taklim (BKMT) merupakan  wahana pendidikan yang berusaha menanamkan akhlak yang mulia, meningkatkan ketaqwaan, pengetahuan dan kecakapan yang diabdikan sebagai upaya untuk mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa dan memajukan kesejahteraan ummat dalam rangka mencari keridhaan Allah SWT. Banyak pengajian yang dilaksanakn ibu-ibu secara rutin, ada yang mingguan  bahkan ada yang sampai 3 kali dalam seminggu dan ada pula bulanan.Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) Motivasi apa yang membuat  ibu-ibu sangat antusias dalam mengikuti pengajian ?  Dan Faktor-faktor  apakah yang menyebabkan ibu-ibu sangat antusias mengikuti pengajian di BKMT Kota Palangka Raya ? (2) Bagaimana Implikasi  Ibu-ibu setelah mengikuti pengajian di BKMT Kota Palangka Raya tersebut ?Adapun pendekatan  yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan kajian fenomenologis, dengan menggunakan tehnik Purposive Sampling dan yang dijadikan subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu-ibu yang mengikuti pengajian dengan mengambil ibu-ibu dari pengajian Aisyiyah, Musimat Nahdatul Ulama, Nasyiyatul Asyiyah, Fatayat Nahdatul ulama dan Mar’atus sholehah berjumlah 15 orang, dengan tehnik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi.Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  termotivasinya ibu-ibu mengikuti pengajian di karenakan, ingin menuntut ilmu agama dan memperdalam ilmu agama, menganggap ikut pengajian adalah merupakan ibadah, membuat batin atau jiwa menjadi tenang, menjalin silaturrahmi di antara sesama anggota pengajian, diadakannya arisan sebagai pengikat anggota. Sedangkan Faktor yang mempengaruhi ibu-ibu mengikuti pengajian berasal dari faktor intern dan ekstren.  Adapun impikasi terhadap ibu-ibu setelah mengikuti pengajian,  Rajin bersilaturrahim,  Suka Bersedekah, lebih Sabar menghadapi persoalan dalam keluarga, mengamalkan sholat Tahajut dan sholat Dhuha,  Rajin membaca Al Qur’an,  Rajin mengamalkan zikir-zikir,  Pemaaf kepada teman-teman dan keluarga, memiliki perasaan tenang dan tentram.Diharapkan setelah mengikuti pengajian Subjek (ibu-ibu) dapat mengimplikasikan segala ilmu yang di dapat, baik untuk diri sendiri, maupun berdampak juga dengan orang lain. Kata Kunci : Motivasi Ibu-ibu, Pengajian, BKMT

Abstract

This article tries to describe the concept of Human Rights in the West and the response of   Islam to them. In its history, it was Magna Charta   in England that initiated the formulation of Human Rights in the West in 1512. Then It was followed by The Bill of right in 1689; The American Declaration of Independence in 1776; and The French Declaration in 1789 that resulted in The rule of law.  Human Rights entered a new phase after The United Nations had declared the International Human Rights in1984, that is The Universal Declaration of Human Rights. From that time on, Human Rights has become a global issue, continually discussed and responded to by many including Muslim scholars. In the West, the concept of Human Right is based merely on human values (anthropocentric) so that the responsibility is restricted to human beings.  Based  on  this,  this concept  is  different from  Islamic  concept  on  Human  Rights  because  the former is based on secular values  while the later is based on human values and divine values. Normatively, the idea of Human Rights is relevant to Islamic idea. The reason is that, based on their fitrah as creatures, human beings extremely expect the maintenance of their main needs (Al- umur al-Daruriyyah). Therefore, Human Rights are suitable with the purpose of syari’ah (maqasid al-Syari), that is to maintain religion, reason, heredity dan property.

Abstract

IAIN Palangka Raya merupakan satu-satunya perguruan Tinggi Islam Negeri yang ada di Kalimantan Tengah, walaupun terdapat beberapa perguruan tinggi baik negeri maupun swasta dari berbagai lintas agama yang ada di Kalimantan Tengah. Kota Palangka Raya memiliki  Visi sebagai kota pendidikan dan terdapat  satu Madrasah Alyah Negeri  dan 6 Madrasah Aliyah Swasta, keberadaan 7 (tujuh) madrasah  ini merupakan potensi dan prospek yang menguntungkan untuk input mahasiswa ke IAIN Palangka Raya, namun demikian berdasarkan data tentang mahasiswa yang kuliah di IAIN Palangka Raya, belum mendominasi latar pendidikan  adalah lulusan siswa Madrasah Aliyah.  Realitas ini juga menjadi kajian yang menarik, data dilapangan mengungkapkan berbagai faktor yang mengungkapkan persepsi dan motivasi masyarakat yaitu orangtua untuk menjadikan IAIN palangka Raya sebagai lembaga pendidikan tinggi bagi anak-anak mereka. Keinginan untuk memberikan pendidikan anak ke IAIN Palangka Raya didukung dengan ketersediaan daya/biaya, beasiswa dan  anak kuliah samabil bekerja. Kondisi ini juga menjadi daya tarik IAIN untuk dapat menjaring bagaimana dapat menyahuti keinginan orangtua sehingga IAIN menjadi idole atau pilihan utama bagi orangtua untuk pendidikan anak-anaknya.
