Abstract

This research aimed to produce a media in the form of Digital Story Book "Satua Bali" Based Mobile that could be a container to provide a collection of Satua Bali, so it could be utilized to help maintaining the existence of Satua Bali among the community, especially children. Digital Story Book "Satua Bali" Based Mobile has some additional features, such as user can add new satua, share to the social medias, give comment, like, add as favorite, etc. This research was a type of research and development with research model of ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The testing process was conducted in six stages, namely test: whitebox and blackbox which obtain good result, content expert which obtains result of 96,2% (very appropriate), media expert that obtains result of 92,5% (very appropriate), users responses with UEQ method obtain good result, and compatibility is successfully implemented to 10 different devices. The final result of this research is the application of Digital Story Book "Satua Bali" which can be run on smartphone with android operating system.

Abstract

In building a system can’t be separated from an error where for a company that works in Building a software this will be very dangerous if not quickly Handled, certainly beside with quickly also need to be handled accurately. Expert systems can be a solution where the expert system is capable of recording a persons ability to think or reason. Thought or reasoning of an expert will be used to diagnose from some of the symptoms that exist to conclude error with experts specified weight while the belief to symptoms that are not certain will be determined by the user and determined using Certainty Factor method that can calculate the value of uncertainty so that error fixed can be concluded. The results of the implementation is 2 diagnosis with the highest level of confidence and the step to handling. Other results is the system accuracy by performing a comparison between the results of the diagnosis system to the actual event so that the accuracy is 91.667%

Abstract

Vespa is a vehicle that has its own charm of its distinctive shape. Vespa has fanatical fans around the world including in Denpasar Bali, either modern vespa or classic vespa. But sometimes riding a vespa (especially a classic vespa) although routine maintenance of the vespa may still be problematic when driving, whether its a strike in the middle of the journey, broken clutch rope or tire broke while on the way. Information about the vespa workshop is the information that the vespa rider must know. Geographic information system of vespa workshop in Denpasar can be a solution to provide information about the location and route to the vespa workshop in Denpasar. The system is created using the concept of web-mobile, so that each device is capable of using the system with only the web-browser.The result of designing and building geographic information system of Vespa workshop in Denpasar is system consist of user menu and admin menu. Users can view information about the vespa workshop and the route to the vespa workshop. The admin menu is dedicated to managing vespa workshop data in the system.

Abstract

The development of barbershop makes business competition becomes increasingly tight. Currently, information and communication technology is very important in the field of barbershop marketing. But this technology only shows details of the existence of barbershop. In addition, the catalog of hairstyles that are provided only in the form of 2-dimensional images. Therefore, more advanced technology is needed to promote the model of hairstyle available in barbershop. One of the technology applied in smartphone applications is Augmented Reality on the Android operating system. In this research will be developed an Augmented Reality based promotion media to promote hair model model with 3 dimensional object visualization using marker based tracking method. Development of this application starts from the stage of concept creation, application design, 3-dimensional object creation, application assembly, application testing, until the application distribution stage. This application was created using C # programming language, Vuforia Qualcomm, virtual and Unity Autodeks Maya software. The application that has been produced is tested by 2 methods that is by black-box testing and by usability scale system test, on the test of black -box AugmentedReality application of functional barbershop that exist in the application has been successfully executed according to their respective function. Based on survey results on Usabilty ScaleSystem(SUS) test on Augmented Reality Barbershop application, 20 respondents gave average score of 73.35 with Grade Scale C.

Abstract

Operational Guidance Assessment of Credit Score Increase / Rank Academic Lecturer issued by Directorate General of Higher Education Ministry of Education and Culture Year 2014 indicates that each lecturer is entitled to propose the proposed increase in functional positions with the calculation of credit numbers, not exception for lecturer fixed foundation at Private Higher Education. STMIK STIKOM Indonesia is one of the private universities that still use a manual system to perform data processing for lecturers who will propose promotion and positions of lecturers. The number of elements or criteria and different values in each element in the assessment of credit numbers cause lecturers have difficulty in calculation and obtain information about the functional level of the positions, therefore required a computer application that can assist in the process of calculation quickly, precisely and accurately so it can be made a reference before proposing a functional promotion. From the test results that have been done can be seen that the system built has been able to run well. All system functionality goes in line with expectations

Abstract

With the use of technology in the world of health, facilitate the public in obtaining information. In this case, handling of mild ENT disease can be done with the initial handling that is utilizing medicinal plants as one good alternative. However, lack of information obtained, resulting in less people know what medicinal plants that can be utilized. Therefore, it is necessary to build a system that is educative by providing information of ENT and medicinal diseases of any medicines that can be utilized in the follow up of ENT disease in suffering. This system also provides information on medicinal plants outside of ENT diseases.

Abstract

Technological progress in the medical area made medical images like X-rays stored in digital files. The medical image file is relatively large so that the image needs to be compressed. The lossless compression technique is an image compression where the decompression results are the same as the original or no information lost in the compression process. The existing algorithms on lossless compression techniques are Run Length Encoding (RLE), Huffman, and Lempel Ziv Welch (LZW). This study compared the performance of the three algorithms in compressing medical images. The result of image decompression will be compared to its performance in the objective assessment such as ratio, compression time, MSE (Mean Square Error) and PNSR (Peak Signal to Noise Ratio). MSE and PSNR are used for quantitative image quality measurement for subjective assessment assisted by three experts who will compare the original image with the decompression image. Based on the results obtained from the objective assessment of compression performance of RLE algorithm showed the best performance by yielding ratio, time, MSE and PSNR respectively 86,92%, 3,11ms, 0 and 0db. For Huffman, the results can be 12.26%, 96.94ms, 0, and 0db respectively. While LZW results can be in sequence -63.79%, 160ms, 0.3 and 58.955db. For the results of the subjective assessment, the experts argued that all images can be analyzed well.

Abstract

Tajweed is one of the material in reading the Holy Quran. As well as learning Indonesian, learning to read the Holy Quran should know Tajweed. The development of children now, much to exclude learning due to many games on the phone. This becomes our chance to make educative games. Packaging games to read the Quran in this case Tajweed become more interactive since the children are not only play but also get the material. Using the prototype method, this educational game reading alquran is packed into a valuable educational game.
