Abstract

Abstrak: Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal Persamaan Linear Satu Variabel kelas VII MTs N 5 Magelang. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 3 orang siswa kelas VII MTs N 5 Magelang yang memiliki kemampuan awal matematika tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Subjek penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes tertulis dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Subjek dengan kemampuan awal matematika tinggi memiliki kemampuan berpikir kreatif tinggi dimana subjek mampu mencapai aspek keluwesan, fleksibilitas, dan orisinil; 2) Subjek dengan kemampuan awal matematika sedang hanya mampu mencapai aspek keluwesan dan fleksibilitas; 3) Subjek dengan kemampuan awal matematika rendah  tidak mampu mencapai aspek keluwesan, fleksibilitas, dan orisinil. Abstrak: The type of this research s This qualitative research that aims to identify the ability of students mathematical creative thinking in solving the problem of Linear Equations One Variable class VII MTs N 5 Magelang. The subjects of this research is 3 students of class VII MTs N 5 Magelang who have early high, medium, and low math skills. The subject of this research is taken by using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques the form of written tests and interviews. Based on the results of the analysis can be concluded that: 1) Subjects with high early mathematical abilities possess high creative thinking abilities in which subjects are capable of achieving flexibility, flexibility, and original aspects; 2) Subjects with early math skills are only able to attain flexibility and flexibility aspects; 3) Subjects with low initial math skills are unable to achieve flexibility, flexibility, and original aspects.

Abstract

Abstract: Pop Up Book is the role of media is very important in the learning process. The presence of the Pop Up book media can support the learning process, facilitate students in understanding the learning material. This research was aimed to improve reading through Pop Up Book media the seventh grade students of SMP N 3 Alas Barat. The research belongs to collaborative action research which created a collaboration between the teacher of the seventh grade. The subject of this research was the seventh grade student of SMP N 3 Alas Barat which consists of 14 male students and 10 female students. The technique of collecting data was test, observation, and documentation. The technique of data analysis was descriptive, both quantitative and qualitative. The result of this research shows that there is an improvement of reading of the students of seventh grade in SMP N 3Alas Barat after using Pop Up Book as the media i.e. the average score from the average score at 65 before treatment (Pre-Action), it became 72 after the first cycle and reached 83 at the second cycle. The number of percentage was also increased from 36% before treatment (Pre-Action) became 64% at the first cycle and 96% at the second cycle. Besides, based on the observation, the students and their teacher also had an improvement in each cycle. The students are more active in learning process for each cycle.

Abstract

Abstrak: Sesuatu yang dibutuhkan dalam matematika untuk kesuksesan hidup menghendaki lingkungan pembelajaran yang mendukung dan mendorong kompetensi matematika baik secara teori maupun praktik. Dalam pendidikan, mengajar matematika harus dengan cara yang kreatif dan mampu menciptakan suasana lingkungan dimana siswa tertarik untuk belajar matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika melalui implementasi pembelajaran kooperatif dengan model pembelajaran STAD. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan 2 siklus, setiap siklus terdiri atas 3 pertemuan. Hasil dari siklus 1  ditemukan bahwa 28 siswa (82.35%)mencapai batas ketuntasan (KKM) dengan rata-rata nilai 80. Pada siklus2, rata-rata nilai mencapai 87 dengan 34 siswa (100%) mencapai batas ketuntasan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan diskusi dalam peneilitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa impelentasi pembelajaran kooperatif dengan model pembelajaran STAD dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika.Abstract: The overwhelming need for mathematics comprehension for a successful life requires a learning environment that support and encourages both theoretical and practical math competency. In education, teaching mathematic should be creative and able to provide an environment where students are interested to learn mathematics.This study aimed to improve mathematic learning outcomes through the implementation of cooperative learning type STAD learning model. The method used in this research was a Classroom Action Research by conducting three meeting for each in two cycles. The result of the study in first cycle was found that 28 students (82.35%) meet the school competency with average grade 80. In the second cycle, the average of learning achievement reached 87 with 34 students (100%) meet the school competency. Based on the analysis and discussion of the research, it is concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning type STAD learning model can improve mathematic learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract:  Scaffolding is a teaching learning strategy in which the teacher and learners engage in a collaborative problem-solving activity with the support and guidance of the teacher to enable learners become increasingly independent. Scaffolding strategy can help students solved the task by their own and student can be understand the material. The purpose of this research is to know whether the use of scaffolding strategy is effective or not in teaching reading comprehension at the first grade students of SMA N 4 Mataram in academic year of 2017/2018. This study used Quasi Experimental Non-Equivalent Control Group Designs, the researcher was used pre-test and post-test. The sample of this research were all students of the first grade at SMAN 4 Mataram that consist of 78 students, 39 students of experimental group and 39 students of control group. The experimental group was taught by scaffolding strategy in teaching reading comprehension and the control group was taught without scaffolding strategy in teaching reading comprehension. The techniques of collecting data in this research used pre-test and post-test. Based on the result, the means score of students experimental group was 23,17 and the control group was 16,70. It was shows that score of experimental group was higher than control group. Whereas, the score of t-test was 2,70 and the score of t-table was 2,00 on the level of significance 0,05. this research shows that scaffolding strategy in teaching reading comprehension at the first grade students of SMAN 4 Mataram in Academic Year 2017/2018 is effective. So, based on the hypothesis that the researcher discussed before, the Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) was accepted.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Hasil penelitian adalah bahwa penerapan model PBL berbantu media kartu soal dapat memperbaiki proses dan hasil belajar matematika. Pada siklus I, persentase ketercapaian aktivitas guru sebesar 81% yang kemudian meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 92% dan ketercapaian aktivitas siswa pada siklus I sebesar 82,67% yang kemudian meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 93,33%. Peningkatan hasil belajar matematika dilihat dari aspek kognitif persentase ketuntasan untuk siklus I mencapai 64,29% dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 83,33%. Abstract:  This research is a classroom action research (PTK). The result of this research is that the application of PBL model assisted by media of problem card can improve the process and result of learning mathematics. In cycle I, the percentage of achievement of teacher activity was 81% which then increased in cycle II to 92% and the achievement of student activity in cycle I was 82.67% which then increased in cycle II to 93,33%. Improvement of learning mathematic content is seen from the cognitive aspect of the percentage of completeness for cycle I reaches 64.29% and increases in cycle II to 83.33%.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning berbasis Kurikulum 2013 pada siswa kelas 4 di salah satu SD Negeri kota Salatiga. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan dua siklus. Siklus I dan II terdiri dari tiga kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas 4. Pada kondisi awal nilai rata-rata klasikal adalah 62,25 dengan jumlah siswa tuntas sebanyak 10 siswa dan jumlah siswa tidak tuntas sebanyak 10 siswa. Pada siklus I rata-rata hasil belajar matematika meningkat menjadi 75,50 dan pada siklus II rata-rata hasil belajar siswa meningkat lagi menjadi 83,00. Presentase ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan. Pada siklus I presentase ketuntasan mencapai 75% dan pada siklus II presentase ketuntasan mencapai 90%, dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Discovery Learning berbasis Kurikulum 2013  dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar.Abstract:  This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of mathematics through Discovery Learning based on 2013 curriculum model in the fourth grade students on one of the Salatiga State Elementary Schools. This type of research is a Classroom Action Research with two cycles. Both cycles consist of three meetings. The subjects of the study were the fourth grade students. The initial condition showed that the score was 62,25 with the total number of students who passed were only 10 students and the number of students who hasn’t passed were 10 students. At the first cycle of mathematics learning the outcomes increased to become 75,50. It means the percentage of completeness reached 75%. At the second cycle the average of student’s learning outcomes increased again to become 83,00. Showed that percentage of completeness reached 90%, thus it can be concluded that the Discovery Learning based on 2013 curriculum model can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstrak:. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peningkatan hasil belajar IPA melalui penerapan metode inkuiri berbantuan video interaktif pada siswa kelas III SD. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari 2 siklus.  Setidap siklus setiap siklus dilaksanakan melalui 3 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas III SD. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui observasi dan tes. Data tes hasil belajar siswa dianalisis berdasarkan persentase ketuntasan belajar secara individu dan klasikal kemudian dijabarkan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan persentase hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I dan siklus II. Hasil belajar yang diperoleh siswa kelas III SD mengalami peningkatan.  Hal ini ditunjukkana danya hasil belajar siswa pada evaluasi mengacu pada kriteria keberhasilan yang sudah ditentukan yaitu 70. Nilai rata-rata ketuntasan belajar siswa secara klasikal mengalami peningkatan sebesar 82% pada mata pelajaran IPA. Dengan rincian pra siklus ketuntasan 46% dari 18 siswa yang telah mencapai keberhasilan dengan rata-rata 68, siklus I menjasi 56% dari 22 siswa yang telah mencapai keberhasilan dengan rata-rata 68, dan menjadi 82% pada siklus II  dari 32 siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar dengan rata-rata 72. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode inkuiri berbantuan video interaktif dapat meningkatkan hasil bellajar siswa. Abstract: this study aims to see the improvement of science learning outcomes trought the aplications of inquiry learning method assisted interactive video in the third grade students of SD. Type of research used is clasroom acion research consisting of two cycles. Each cycles is implemented throught three stages of plannning, implementatio, and reflection. The subjects of this study were all students SD. The data of this study were obtained throught observation and test. The data of students’ learning outcomes were analyzed based on the percentage of learning completeness individually an clasically then described descriptively. The result showed an increase in the percentage of student learning on SD. This is incated by the result of student learning on evaluation refers to succes criteria that have been determined that is 70. The average grade of students’ learning completeness in class has increased by 82% in science subjects. With pre-cycle completeness details if 44% off 18 students who have achieved succes with an average of 68%, cycle II of 32 students who achieve mastery learning with an average of 72. Assisted interactive video can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita materi sistem persamaan linear dua variable. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskiptif kualitatif. Sampel yang diambil adalah siswa kelas VIII H SMP Negeri 7 Salatiga dengan jumlah subjek sebanyak 3 siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan siswa masih melakukan kesalahan pada type I (reading error) sebesar 0%, kesalahan pada type II (comprehension error) sebesar 19%, kesalahan pada type III (transformasion error) sebesar 14%, kesalahan pada type IV (process skill error) sebesar 24%, dan kesalahan pada type V (enconding error) sebesar 44%. Abstract:  This study aims to analyze students errors in solving the material story of the system of two linear equations. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The samples are taken from VIII H grade students of SMP Negeri 7 Salatiga with the number of subjects as many as three students. The result of this research showed students still made an error on type I ( reading error ) as much as 0 % , an error on type II ( comprehension error) is approximately 19 % , an error on type III ( transformation error) 14 %  , an error on type IV (process skill error) 24 %, and an error on type V ( enconding error ) as much as 44 % .

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian dilatarbelakangi kondisi pembelajaran Matematika siswa kelas IV SDN Nyemoh Kecamatan Bringin bermetode konvensional dan berimplikasi kepada hasil belajar 58,82 % di bawah KKM. Penulis berangkat dari pertanyaan apakah melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament dapat meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar matematika siswa? Penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif ini, diterapkan pada siswa sejumlah 17 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kondisi awal minat siswa 70,59% (Rendah), 58,82% (Tinggi) di siklus I dan siklus II 88,24% (Tinggi) serta 11,76% (Sangat Tinggi). Sedangkan hasil belajar siswa menunjukan nilai rata-rata 57,35 (58,82%< KKM) pada awalnya. Siklus I (23,53%< KKM) dan siklus II ( 0 %

Abstract

Abstrak: Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah open-ended pada materi bangun datar bagi siswa kelas VIII SMP Kristen 02 Salatiga. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 3 orang siswa kelas VIII SMP Kristen 02 Salatiga yang memiliki kemampuan matematika tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Subjek penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Subjek berkemampuan matematika tinggi mencapai tingkat 4 (sangat kreatif) dimana indikator kelancaran, keluwesan dan kebaruan dipenuhi; 2) Subjek berkemampuan matematika sedang mencapai tingkat 3 (kreatif) dimana subjek dapat memenuhi 2 indikator yaitu kelancaran dan keluwesan; 3) Subjek berkampuan matematika rendah mencapai tingkat 2 (cukup kreatif) dimana subjek hanya memenuhi indikator keluwesan. Abstract:  The type of this research is qualitative research that aims to analyze the level of students creative thinking ability in solving open-ended problem in geometric shapes material for VIII students of SMP Kristen 02 Salatiga. The subject of this research is 3 students of class VIII SMP Kristen 02 Salatiga who have high, medium, and low math skills. The subject of this research is taken by using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques in the form of tests and interviews. Based on the results of the analysis can be concluded that: 1) subjects with high math achievement level 4 (very creative) where indicators of fluency, flexibility, and novelty are met; 2) Subjects capable of achieving mathematics level 3 (creative) in which the subject can meet 2 indicators of fluency and flexibility; 3) Subjects with low mathematics have reached level 2 (creative enough) where the subject only meets the flexibility indicator.
