The main role of education is to prepare citizens who can develop integrated democratic behavior, both in the private and social order that enhance the productive social democratic life. Therefore, the learning process should be a vehicle to prepare learners in order to interact widely with the community, develop democratic attitudes and behaviors, and foster the productivity of learning activities of learners. This can be applied by applying a model of social interaction, so learners can interact well and improve social skills in the community as mandated by national law and education objectives. Meanwhile, self-development is needed in the actualization of individuals in the environment around the learner. Actualization of individuals in the self-development of students can be developed through active learning and develop social skills, so as to lead students to have a better mental. In addition, students have better emotional health by developing their self-confidence and realistic feelings in instilling empathy for others. Collaborative learning models of social interaction provide solutions to optimize social skills in response to social gaps and social behavior attitudes of learners as well as social symptoms and problems in todays society.
Assessment is not only an inherent need but also plays a strategic role in the quality management of education. Good judgment will provide comprehensive evaluative information in a timely manner about the strengths and weaknesses of a learning activity or educational program. The assessment of thematic learning is an effort done to explore information gradually, continuously and holistic about the process and the result of growth and development that has been achieved, both related to the process and learning outcomes. However, most educators still experience constraints in assessing learning outcomes in the classroom, especially for teachers who implement thematic learning. In this case, educators have difficulty in applying techniques or syntax in the preparation of learning achievement instruments according to the condition of their students.
Islam is the Shariah of Allah for mankind, in order that man performs worship to Him. In order for human beings to bear and realize the great mandate, the Sharia requires practice, development, and coaching. Development and coaching that is what is meant by Islamic education. Understanding Education by Islam is the whole sense contained in terms talim, tarbiyah, and tadib. Implementation of religious values in national education includes: the existence of religious subjects, institutes of religious education, attachment of religious values in every subject and the planting of religious values in the family. The basic purpose of learning is simplified into three, namely: retention goals, understanding goals and active goals. Values in Islamic education include ethical values, aesthetic values, exemplary and social values, values associated with individuals, values associated with the family, values relating to the life of the state and the values associated with religious.
This research presents about building gender awareness in Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolingg through gender equitable education. Gender equitable education in Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo is all educational activities that provide fair opportunity to all components of pesantren through gender awareness, both men and women to carry out their roles in educational activities to exercise their rights and obligations in accordance with their roles in a fair and wise. This research uses qualitative method with case study type. The results showed that; 1) Efforts made by the leadership of Pesantren Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo in building gender awareness is done through; guidance on gender awareness or gender mainstreaming, change of mindset of pesantren civitas, equel gender relation, optimization of women participation in pesantren activity, development of gendered curriculum and reward and punishment. 2) Implication of the implementation of fair education in building gender awareness in Pondok Pesantren Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo, that is; the quality of pesantren is increasing, the atmosphere of public relations and religious pesantren, the creation of harmonization in pesantren, decreased bias and gender gaps in education, optimizing the role of women in educational activities in pesantren.
This article is aimed to introduce the possible implementation of laboratory training in order to reduce a dicotomic based learning in Islamic education. Laboratory training assumes that first-hand experience in observation and manipulation of the materials of science is superior to other methods of developing understanding and appreciation. Laboratory training is also frequently used to develop skills necessary for advanced study and research. During the binarary opposition between West and East, between Islam and non-Islam, the educational institution needs a empircal ground of laboratory training as useful ways to provide the learners and educators attitudes and practical experiments to understand the possible effects of that dicotomy. This study further argues that laboratory training is to make sure that students are encouraged to have religious humanism as a philosophical basic of the Islamic teaching.

Through qualitative methods, and data collection techniques snawball sampling, data sources can be tracked easily. From data collected found, portraits in some persekolah Islam at Madura is less well ordered because of the lack of willingness of managers to assess the values taught by the Prophet valuable in the texts of Islam (Quran and Hadith).
This paper presents the theory of humanistic learning in improving student achievement. Learning is a process of acquiring science that is no other estuary to acquire values, knowledge, and practical skills as an effort to become a perfect human being. In this modern era education tends to be pragmatic. As a result of this is the process of education is no longer pay attention to student potential. The theory of humanistic learning is a theory whose focus of discourse focuses on the behavior of a human being. This theory assumes the student succeeds if the student understands her environment and herself. In this learning theory learners are expected to be free, courageous, unbound by others opinions and manage their own personally responsibly without prejudice to the rights of others or violate applicable rules, norms, disciplines or ethics as well as teachers only as facilitators. With the free of students in developing their potential is expected to improve learning achievement.
Modernization is one manifestation of the causes of social change can lead to a very wide influence in various sectors of life. The influence of modernization in addition to a positive impact to ward progress, in fact, also gave rise to the negative effects of the inevitable. College Student, is a community of intellectual candidates who will become leaders in the future, the successor of leadership in his era later. Therefore it is fitting to get all of us attention with guidance, direction, and others including by introducing them to the real world that full of challenges, not to mention the students who are in the sub-culture of the pesantren. Although pesantren itself was initially only an entity to deepen the sciences of Islamic science, but in further development, due to its flexibility, and the demands of the peoples need for "formal" things, pesantren did not leave the characteristics of independence, simplicity, istikhoroh, considering the aspects of benefits-mafsadah, maslahah-mudorot, began to accept the entry of formal schools, from elementary to college level. And there it is a challenge for the pesantren to prepare a generation that is not behind the times. Globalization, is an inevitable process of the world, will enter and penetrate to all corners of the world no matter how small its form. Therefore, this last term becomes important to be introduced to the pesantren community especially among students, namely students who are studying at university level, not to be surprised to see the future that will and must be faced.
