Abstract

This article will examine one of Cianjur's local wisdoms, namely beluk art, its context and rumpaka. The data were obtained by descriptive analytical method,that is to examine and describe seni beluk qualitatively. Seni beluk is a type of art that is closely related to wawacan literature that uses pupuh rules. Commonly, seni beluk is performed at the 40 days old-baby birth ceremony, but gradually the pattern of life of society develops so that seni beluk is not only presented at the 40 days old-baby ceremony but also at a ceremonial event related with circumcision , wedding and religion ceremonials. Considering its presentation,  seni beluk still holds the tradition and culture the of ancestors.Keywords:beluk, local wisdom, lyrics

Abstract

This article discusses the improvement of the effectiveness of learning to analyze the short story by using discovery learning model. In addition, also discussed the increased interest of students in learning Research conducted using Classroom Action Research methods as much as three cycles. Data collection was done by observation technique, questionnaire, and cycle test. Target of this research is student of class VII-F of Negeri 3 Mande Junior High School year teaching 2016-2017 as many as 33 student. The results showed an increase; (1) II began not too nervous, and on the third cycle of the class is conducive; (2) student interest in literary learning increased in cycle I active students only a small part the effectiveness of learning increases in the first cycle of class is still groomed, the cycle, in cycle II half of active students and in cycle III almost all students active; (3) result of student learning in analyzing character and characterization and background of short story increase in cycle I with average value of student equal to 32,32, at cycle II reach 64,73, and at cycle III reach 85,15. It is concluded that learning using discovery learning model can improve the effectiveness of learning, can increase student’s interest in learning, and can improve student’s ability in analyzing character and character and characteristic and background in the short story in class VII Negeri 3 Mande Junior High School.Keywords: short story, and discovery learning model

Abstract

This article describes the application of the mimetic approach in learning the religious value of the novel "When Cinta Bertasbih 1" The subject of the research is the students of grade XI SMA Pasundan 1 Cianjur. Research using a classroom action model, done with two cycles. Data collection using observation format, assessment rubric, and questionnaire. The results showed the application of mimetic approach can improve the process and the student learning outcomes. Before the first cycle starts, pre-test first test. Prasiklus analysis results obtained the highest results 83 Dan lowest 47 with an average of 64% and the percentage completeness of 49% this means that learning has not been as expected. After the action in cycle I obtained the highest 90 and the lowest 53 with values with an average value of 65% and 60% completion percentage, this also means the learning outcomes have not been as expected, but it is better when compared with the results of prasiklus evaluation. Akhirtnya, in cycle II obtained the highest result 93 and lowest 53 with a value with an average value of 80 and 80% completion percentage means learning outcomes though still not in accordance with the expected, but it is better when compared with the results of the evaluation cycle I. With Thus, the use of a mimetic approach tends to improve learning outcomes. Keywords: Mimetic approach, religious value, novel when love glorifies

Abstract

This article discusses the significance of differences in the ability to write text of complex procedures before and after using the demonstration method and then to observe the interest of student learning in grade XI SMA Pasundan 1 Cianjur. The method used is a quasi-experimental study involving one study group by giving pretest as a preliminary test and postes as a final test to see the difference of learning result then use questionnaire to see interest in learning. Processing results of pretest and postes value, calculated using the help of SPSS application, from wilcoxon test results obtained 0.000 significance meaning less than 0.05 indicates the difference of learning outcomes before and after applied method of demonstration then student learning interest showed good response with 100% answer want to relearn with this method. It was concluded that the application of demosntration method in writing text of complex procedure in class XI of Pasundan 1 Cianjur High School can give significant difference of learning result and students learning interest showed good attitude.Keywords: demonstration methods, complex text procedures.

Abstract

This article describes how the students perceptions of reading and service availability from the library of FKIP Universitas Suryakacana. The research was conducted descriptively by using instrument in the form of questionnaire and checklist. The results showed that students respond positively to the collections that are available both in terms of quantity and variety. Available collections are considered to fit the needs of the user. Then, in terms of services such as the length of time of lending, the time of service, and the attitudes and skills of the officers, and the available supporting facilities also get a positive assessment from the pemutaka. However, it does not mean everything is perfect. In other words, both the collection and the services of the library FKIP Universitas Suryakancana still need to continue to clean up and innovate for the comfort and passion of students to learn by reading can be better so that will have an impact on improving the quality of teaching and learning process. Abstract

This article is intended to describe the learning respond religious value in poetry. The purpose of this study is to determine how test results and student feedback regarding religious values contained in Poetry When you pray Emha Ainun Nadjib work. This research uses descriptive method. The research objectives are students of class X-2 SMA PGRI Cianjur. Data collection techniques were used that technique tests and questionnaires. Based on the research that has been conducted on Learning Responding Value of Religious in Poetry "When you pray," Works emha ainun nadjib most students or nearly all students get good grades, and most or nearly all students provide feedback-In answer is good about values religious contained in poetry related to the value relgius faith, istiqomahan, sense of patience, gratitude, compassion, and courageous do not despair. Meanwhile, based on a questionnaire given to students of all students enjoy participating in learning the Indonesian language, and Values contained in the poem when you pray. Abstract

Effectiveness of learning, interest in literary appreciation and the students ability to analyze the elements of nationalism, theme and mandate of poetry on the ground remains low. Based on that writing is restricted to three things, increase the effectiveness of learning, improve the ability of students to apply learning model of problem based learning to learning to analyze the elements of nationalism, theme and mandate poetry class X SMK Al-Ibrohimiyah Cianjur. The method used in this study, classroom action research cycle test techniques, observation sheets and questionnaires. Research conducted three cycles. The results of the study managed to increase; (1) The effectiveness of learning increases, the first cycle is still rowdy class, then the second cycle has begun not rowdy, and the third cycle has been conducive; (2) The interest of students to appreciate literature increased, in the first cycle students are active for only a small sebagin, on the second cycle by almost half and the third cycle to a great extent; (3) The ability of students to analyze the elements of nationalism, theme and mandate of poetry increased, in the first cycle students average score of 66.19 in cycle II reached 75.95 and the third cycle reached 91.66. It was concluded that the application of the teaching model of problem based learning to learning to analyze the theme and mandate puiisi class X SMK Al-Ibrohimiyah Cianjur can improve the effectiveness, student interest and student learning outcomes. Abstract

This article discusses the effectiveness of students learning, interests, and abilities in analyzing characters and characterizing short stories using the discovery learning model. The method used is classroom action research with 3 cycles, with instrument in the form of observation sheet and questionnaire. The research was conducted in class XI SMA Pasundan I Cianjur. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in the effectiveness of learning. In the first cycle of class is still noisy, then on the second cycle has started not rowdy, and on the III cycle is good. Student interest also increases in cycle I students who are active only a small part, on the second cycle began to grow and in cycle III is already high. Students ability in analyzing short story also increases because in cycle I the average score of students is only 69,58, at second cycle of 81,66 and in cycle III reach 85,20. It was concluded that the use of discovery learning model in learning to analyze character and characterization in class XI SMA Pasundan 1 Cianjur can improve the effectiveness, student interest and student learning outcomes.Keywords: short story, discovery learning.

Abstract

This article describes the effectiveness of learning politeness speak by using the role playing strategy of grade VIII B MTs Islamiyah Sayang students. The method used in the research is the experimental method with the object of research class VIII students as many as 35 people. The result showed 61,76% of students got the highest score in the final test in politeness of speech when doing interview using role playing strategy that is 91 with the number of students who got 1 person, the students who get the value of 90 that is 2 people, the students who get the value 89 seb sebasar 2 people, students who score 87 as much as 2 people, students who get 86 points as much as 1 person, students who get the value of 85 as many as 3 people, students who get the value of 84 as 3 students who get the value of 81 as 3 people, students who get a score of 80 as 1 person, students who get the value of 79 as many as 2 people, students who scored 77 as many as 2 people, students who score 76 as many as 1 person, students who score 75 as many as 2 people, and students who score 73 as many as 1 person. Judging from the average percentage of capabilities reaching 82.33% of final test research considers effective role-playing strategies used in speech decency learning in interviews. Abstract

This article will describe learning to write auotobiografi text using Contextual Teaching and Learning approach. The method used in the research, namely the experiment with the design of One-Group Pretest-Postest. Technique of collecting data in the form of test, observation, and questionnaire. The population in the study of students of class XI SMK Nurul Islam Cianjur, with a sample of 22 students. From the results of the study known the average value of the initial test 60.45 and the average value of the final test 80.91. The result of calculation with t-test known value that is 11,41 and value for t.s 0,05 value t = 1,72 and for t.s 0,01 value t = 2.51. Thus, there is a significant difference between students ability in learning to write autobiographic text before and after using Contextual Teaching and Learning approach. The difference seen in the final test results is higher than the initial test results. The use of Contextual Teaching and Learning approach also get positive response for students, this can be proved by the percentage of student answers for positive response is greater than negative response, that is 30% of students who choose strongly agree (SS)> 4% of students who choose strongly disagree (STS).Keywords: autobiographic text, contextual
