SENATIK merupakan jurnal proceeding seminar nasional teknologi informasi dan kedirgantaraan yang dikelola Pusat Penelitian,dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (P3M) Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Adisutjipto Yogyakarta. Abstract

Along with technology that is very fast image processing with high quality can be presented and displayed in many ways. The image has detailed information that can cause problems during processing. Image quantization is done as a preprocessing stage to reduce the number of colors in the image so that the resulting image approaches the original image. The purpose of this study is to group clusters of characteristics with the same image value.

Abstract

One important factor in influencing the progress and decline of an industry is the performance factor. Performance issues are not only important for middle-to-upper-level companies and large companies, but also important for small and medium industries such as the batik craft industry in the Wukirsari region, Bantul. Given the importance of performance, researchers tried to design a performance measurement model of the batik craft industry in the Wukirsari region, Bantul with the aim of identifying performance criteria, determining performance indicators, formulating performance indicators, and making performance measurement instruments. The steps in this study are divided into four phases, namely the initial research phase and problem formulation, the design phase, the analysis phase and the conclusion phase. The initial research phase and problem formulation include, the profile of the batik craft industry in the Wukirsari region, Bantul, the current performance evaluation system, problem formulation and research objectives. The design phase includes the design process of the performance measurement model with the Balanced Scorecard method which includes setting strategic objectives, establishing performance indicators (key performance indicators), determining performance indicator formulas, making performance measurement instruments. Analysis phase includes KPI analysis and strategy map analysis. Conclusion phase includes conclusions from the results of research and suggestions for the batik craft industry in Wukirsari, Bantul. From the results of the study obtained four performance perspectives based on the balanced scorecard, namely financial, customer, internal business processes, learning and growth. five, namely: increased sales growth, high customer satisfaction, improved system and better work processes, the creation of a good work climate, and increased employee productivity.There are seven performance indicators formed, namely: the rate of sales growth, the level of customer satisfaction, level of compliance with customer complaints, percentage of defective products, number of new products, level of job satisfaction, and employee productivity. The establishment of a performance measurement worksheet, so that the performance values of each performance indicator and total performance can be known in a certain period.Keywords: Performance, Measurement, Batik

Abstract

This research has an aim to know the effectiveness of fuzzy logic which takes over the controlling of Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) in repairing the dynamic stability of electrical power system. This research begins with making the mathematic model of electrical power system into a circumstances variable equation and the plant system diagram block model. The structure of fuzzy logic controller system is designed by using 2-input which has three, five, and seven membership functions. The formed system work test is conducted by giving a disruption of increase and decrease electric power, to perceive the result of dynamic order on system variable to rotor speed deviation, angle rotor, voltage terminal, and power electric. Fuzzy logic can increase PIDPSS performance in repairing the electrical power system dynamic stability. The overshoot value decrease to 73.881% - 89.069% and settling time is 57.81% - 67.01% to the rotor speed deviation.

Abstract

Decision Support System (DSS) as one of the disciplines related to decision making both by individuals and companies in general, has been widely applied in various fields such as health, education, energy and business. There are several choices of methods related to decision support systems that have been used globally. The selection of suppliers as one of the important agendas in a company requires a decision support system so that the selected supplier is the best according to the criteria set by the company. In this study several DSS methods are used to solve supplier selection problems. In addition, this study conducted a comparison of the three methods in the DSS, namely WSM, SAW and WP in the case of supplier selection. The main contribution of this article is to compare some DSS methods that have not been studied before. As a result, there are two of the three methods that have the same sequence of results, namely the SAW and WP methods. Where in both methods the A2 alternative has the highest value of 0.875 for SAW and 0.84 for WP results. While very different results are obtained using WSM calculations.

Abstract

To respond to traffic conditions in the city traffic jam so as to resolve the density it is necessary to observe these conditions which are monitored at all times. For this reason, it is necessary to design UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) that is capable of flexible maneuvering, which can take off and land vertically and move quickly to reach traffic in different places. The stages of research for designing fixed wing VTOL aircraft are carried out determining the geometry of the aircraft as the desired criteria, the analysis stage by 3D modeling with CATIA software. Simulation of structural analysis in the form stress and calculating the Margin of Safety from this design. The results of the aircraft design have 1.32 m fuselage length, 1.71 m wing span and aircraft weight 2.865 kg. The results of the analysis show that the aircraft structure is safe in cruise and vertical take-off load.

Abstract

The process of news administration from the ranks in the area, entered through a fax machine coded in the password room which was then distributed to the destination work unit by courier / caraka. To ensure the confidentiality of news documents, an encryption process is performed using the Blowfish algorithm, this algorithm is chosen because it has the fastest form of other block cipher algorithms (Salama, Elminaam, Mohamed, Kader, & Hadhoud, 2010). Then to guarantee the integrity of the archive, the Whirlpool hash function is used, this algorithm is able to produce hash values that have an output length of 512 bits but with a faster time than the NIST recommendation algorithm, SHA-512 (Cryptopp, 2009), besides Whirlpool is a standard hash function ISO / IEC 10118-3: 2003. For the legalization process and ensuring the authenticity of the news can be fulfilled by the RSA Digital Signature algorithm, the algorithm is chosen because it complies with the NIST FIPS 186-4 standard. The news management application that will be designed is also adjusted to the minimum electronic system requirements in accordance with Law Number 11 of 2008, which can protect the integrity, authenticity, confidentiality and accessibility of electronic information. This research will produce an application that is capable of managing web-based electronic confidential news documents. The application can also guarantee the confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity of managed news documents. It is expected that with this application, it can meet management needs

Abstract

Suppliers are sources providing the first material where the chain of goods distribution will start. Nowadays, the method of making decisions on the supply of bamboo raw materials for UKM Karya Manunggal is by conventional (intuition), so that it is often inappropriate in selecting the suppliers. Along with the increasingly fierce level of competition in the field of bamboo furniture, Karya Manunggal needs to review the strategy in the competition and to evaluate the ability of suppliers who are the main raw material providers. Therefore, the authors conducted a study that can be used by companies to measure the weight of each supplier by applying the Analytic Network Process (ANP) method. The Analytic Network Process (ANP) method was used to determine the ratio of the inner dependence and the outer dependence and the feedback. There were 7 criteria which were divided into 14 sub criteria and 6 alternatives used in this study. The final result was Arista Bambu with a weight of 0.2327, followed by Pak Wagiyo with 0.2106, Pak Paimin with 0.1737, Pak Gianto with 0.1506, Pak Tofa with 0.1217, and Pak Manto with 0.1107 . This study was assisted by using Super Decision Software, Microsoft Excel.

Abstract

A prototype system for processing system and filling of drinks packaging using the PLC Omron CPM2A as central to the process and use the HMI as the interface to ease operator to set and view the condition of the system in real-time. There are 3 types of choice of materials that can be processed, in the process of processing liquid material will be transmitted to the main tank to be processed by means of heated and stirred with a mixer. When finished processing the results of processing will be filled into bottles. The results of tests on the prototype in part the processing in accordance with the design. There are 3 choices of beverage products namely coffemilk, Milktea and coffetea. On the third option can be processing operations properly. On the process of charging operations properly. On Charging there is 2 options i.e 200 ml and 250 ml. but for correctness of filling volume experiencing error 7-8%.

Abstract

Ignition system is one of system to helps in combustion processes on the Cessna aircraft engine. In Cessna aircraft operations, ignition have been often reported to be damaged. Failure modes related to failure of the aircraft are ignored, not working, unserviceable, broken, and burned. Where analysis of aircraft maintenance has 50 times the problem with the ignition system which is dominated by worn out plugs which is 16 times. So the detection of damage aircraft is very important, Backward Chaining is part of the expert system method, where is this method can be used in detect damage  that occurs on the Cessna aircraft with the Best-First Search technique. Using this method can be reduce flight failure with detect damage aircraft.

Abstract

The understanding of safety needs to be emphasised to every Airman. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an Aircraft Safety application utilising interactive and interesting multimedia which able to helps not only pilots but also ground crew in understanding safety subject mentioned. Development of Aircraft System application based on Adobe Flash displays 4 (four) option menu as follows general information, subject, quiz, and biography. User also able to assess their understanding of Aircraft Safety subject utilising quiz menu that displays their score. Aircraft Safety functionality test using black box testing yielded excellent result. Aircraft Safety application evaluation was done by conducting direct test and survey which involve 30 students of Air Force Flying School with 3 (three) assessment which are effectivity, efficiency, and satisfaction. User agreed and gave average score for each aspect as follows 4.63 for effectivity, 4.53 for efficiency, and 4.52 for satisfaction with the scale of 1 to 5.
