Abstract

This papper discuss about longitudinal data models of claim counts withexcess-zeros, in which time-dependence of the claim counts is modeled by using acopula function. The copula approach extensively to model the serial dependence ofthe claim counts in car insurance, to model this serial dependence of the claimcounts (between the history and future claims). The maximum likelihood is appliedto estimate the parameters of the discrete copula model. A two-step procedure isproposed to estimate the parameters and predict the claim counts of the next periodusing the estimated parameters.

Abstract

Di Indonesia terdapat banyak peternak unggas sebagai matapencaharian sehingga Indonesia rawan sebagai sumber penyebaran flu burung. Penyebab flu burung adalah virus influensa tipe A dengan subtipe H5N1 yang menyebar antar unggas dan dapat menular pada manusia. Burung liar dan hewan domestik (ternak) menjadi sumber penyebar H5N1. Virus ini dapat menular melalui udara ataupun kontak melalui makanan, minuman, dan sentuhan. Flu burung termasuk jenis penyakit mikroparasitis (jenis penyakit yang disebabkan oleh virus) tetapi ada keterkaitan antara unggas dan manusia sebagai hospes (host). Karena itu model flu burung berbeda dengan model-model flu umumnya. Pada penelitian ini akan ditentukan analisis kualitatif dari model penyebaran flu burung (avian flu) untuk mendapatkan bilangan reproduksi dasar R0, dimana R0 bertujuan mengetahui adanya penyebaran penyakit atau tidak adanya penyebaran penyakit melalui analisis stabilitas dari disease free equilibrium maupun endemic equilibrium.

Abstract

In this article, will discuss definition, examples, algebra properties, and somecharacteristic of self-adjoint operators on Hilbert space. In the Hilbert space there are types ofbounded linear operators such as adjoint operators and self-adjoint operators. To investigatecharacteristic of self-adjoint operator required concepts of Hilbert space, operators on Hilbertspaces, Riesz representation theorem, and adjoint operators on Hilbert space. It then takes athought to investigate the characteristic of self-adjoint operators. Discussion of self-adjointoperators more emphasis on understanding the definition, algebra properties, and characteristic ofself-adjoint operators on Hilbert space. The results obtained are algebra properties of self-adjointoperators such as addition, subtraction, scalar multiplication, and multiplication of self-adjointoperators. In addition, some characteristic associated with self-adjoint operators on Hilbert space.

Abstract

In this paper, two mathematical models are given, those are basic model of tuberculosis transmission and transmission model of tuberculosis with the problem of drug resistance. The problem of drug resistance due to the decient compliance with treatment schedules so causes treatment failure. The basic model of tuberculosis transmission incorporates slow and fast progression, efective chemoprophylaxis and therapeutic treatments. If the basic reproduction ratio R0 less than 1, then the disease-free equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable and if R0 > 1, an endemic equilibrium exists and is locally asymptotically stable. Next, transmission model of tuberculosis with the problem of drug resistance as acompetition between two types of strains of Mycobacterium tuberculosis: those are drug-sensitive strain called the regular TB (strain 1) and drug-resistant strain called the resistant TB (strain 2). If R0s less than 1 and R0r less than 1, then the disease-free equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable. If R0r > 1, an endemic equilibrium where only resistant strain exists. If R0s > 1 and R0s > R0r, endemic equilibrium where both types of strains are present and can spread in a population. Numerical simulation with the certain parameters is given to illustrate stability of equilibrium.

Abstract

Nowdays, education has support by modern facilities like a computer. So, this facilities should be utilized maximally, especially in mathematics. One of the computer program for learning mathematics is Geogebra. This program provides a geometric visualization to clarify certain concepts to students. The purpose of this research is determine the activity of learners using Geogebra program and its effect for students achievement. The research type is not purely experimental studies with one shot case studymodels. This is an experiment models conducted without comparison group and also preview test. The research population is students at XI MIA-1 until XI MIA-7 Senior High School 1 Manyar Gresik academic years 2014-2015. While the sample is XI MIA-2 randomly selected after homogenity test. The research instrument using observation sheet and test. From the data collected and analyzed using normality test, liniearity test, linear regression test, F test, t test and determination coefficient results regression equation

Abstract

Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is beginning little by little to replace the task of an expert, even with the ANN can be a tool to replace a doctor. One of kind of ANN is backpropagation networks, this network can be used to training programs in order to be able to recognize whether it is pig or cow wave spectra. To determine the output in backpropagation training required suitable activation functions. Therefore, in this research will be compared to some of the activation function that can be used in training. Activation functions will be tested with the ratio test to determine the interval convergence. After tested with the ratio test it was found that the activation function tanh z was the best activation function to use thebackpropagation network training, because it has a weight range that can meet the methods used in the determination of weights. When tested with the data, the activation function tanh z is able to recognize correctly all trial datas. An expected in future research to examine the weight that makes the interval training to achieve fast convergence and the error bit.

Abstract

An intuitionistic fuzzy graph consist of a couples of node sets V and set of edges E which the sum of degree membership and degree non membership each of nodes and each of edges in closed interval [0,1], the degree membership each of edges is less than or equal with the minimum of degree membership each of related nodes, and degree non membership each of edges is less than or equal with the maximum degree non membership each of related nodes. An intuitionistic fuzzy graph H can be said as intuitionistic fuzzy subgraph from intuitionistic fuzzy graph G if node set V of H is subset of node set V of G and edge set E of H is subset of edge set E of G. If there is an intuitionistic fuzzy graph G with nodes set of V and if each of edge has degree membership and non membership unconstantly, then G has at least one bridge. The theorem is proven to hold if the intuitionistic fuzzy graph has cycle.

Abstract

In the stock market, stock price prediction is an important issue for the perpetrators of capital transactions to help making the right decision. Most traders have their own application software to predict the stock price so that it can be decided would buy the shares or sell them. By using a neural networks, prediction of stock prices can be done by using the backpropagation algorithm. Artificial neural networks can be used either to predict the level or price of the stock index, stock movement (trend), and the return earned on stocks. This study discusses the use of techniques Backpropagation Neural Network to predict the stock price closing (Close) in AKR Tbk (AKRA Corporindo) engaged in the petroleum, chemical,logistics, manufacturing and coal are simulated in Matlab. Of some testing done, the prediction results obtained are very close to the price actually with very small MSE value.

Abstract

Nowadays many robots has produced not just on a few scale, but also on large for helping human on doing task everyday corresponding the function. By the way, the function can be good functionate if the components, which support to the robot, can be good functionate, too, like the other one is robot walked way movement. Here, we look on four legs of robot walked movement using trotting, because we can find this nowadays and the trouble is kind than robot walked movement with two legs. On this case, we will use max-plus algebra to solve this problem to get robot walked way model on trotting which is like what we want.

Abstract

Approaches that are used to estimate the regression function are parametric regression model approaching and nonparametric regression model approaching. Semiparametric regression is association of parametric regression and nonparametric regression. Semiparametric regression is used if the relation pattern between independent variables and dependent variables has the known pattern and also has the unknown pattern. Estimating the unknown regression approaching and in this case is using the Nadaraya Watso estimator. Semiparametric estimator is better than nonparametric estimator for the data which have the unknown relationpattern between dependent and independent variable and also has the unknown relation pattern between dependent and independent variable by using the MSE value.
