Abstract

This study aims to find out the improvement of students critical thinking skills with the application of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model on the subject matter of two linear equations system to mathematics learning in class VIII at SMP Negeri 10 Padangsidimpuan.This study is a quasi experimental research using two class, one as experimental class and one as control class. The technique used in research sampling is cluster random sampling, that is experimental class using contextual teaching and learning model and control class using conventional learning model.The result of research indicate that critical thinking thinking of student mathematics has been done with Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) with an average of 78.48%, while with direct learning model with an average of 70.92%. In addition, hypothesis testing using t test with a significant level of 0.05 obtained the value of test Fa> Ftable = 2.269 with the value Ftable = 2.028. Because Fcount> Ftable, the decision of rejection test H0 so that it can be concluded that better critical thinking ability of student mathematics by using Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model compared with direct learning model. Keyword: Contextual Teaching and Learning, The Ability of Critical Thinking

Abstract

[Fe(NH2trz)3]SO4 complex is directly synthesized from FeSO4.7H2O and 4-amino-1,2,4,-triazol (NH2trz) in water giving 71% yield. This complex is purple at room temperature showing low-spin state and diamagnetic properties. It changes to be white towards heating showing high-spin state and paramagnetic properties at high temperature. The colour changes is reversible so it can be applied as temperature sensor, molecular switch, and memory. This phenomena is called as spin crossover (SCO). Counter anion of [Fe(NH2trz)3]2+ affects transition temperature, magnetic properties, and colour changes. In this study, [Fe(NH2trz)3]X2, where X= , , and , is synthesized from FeSO4.7H2O and NH2trz ligand with addition of corresponding salts: KBr, KI, and NaNO3 before [Fe(NH2trz)3]SO4 is formed. Fe(NH2trz)3]Br2 and [Fe(NH2trz)3](NO3)2 are obtained with 14-25% yield. These complexes have similar colour and magnetic properties as [Fe(NH2trz)3]SO4, but different transition temperature. [Fe(NH2trz)3]I2 is obtained with 89% yield and have different properties from [Fe(NH2trz)3]SO4. This complex is white at room temperature showing high spin state and paramagnetic properties. It changes to be purple towards cooling and back to be white at room temperature. It is relatively less stable than other complexes synthesized in this study as it changes to be yellow when it is exposed to open air. Keywords: complex iron(II), spin crossover (SCO), anion bromide, iodide, and nitrate.

Abstract

This research uses this type of research is quantitative descriptive research with active learning strategies. The population of the study i.e. the whole grade IV SDIT Rabbi Radhiyya Curup Middle amounted to 40 students. The sample in this research is the IVC classes totalling 25 students. Research that has been conducted showed how saturation study grade IV in the SDIT Rabbi Radhiyya with the number of students is 25 people. Note that the results of the now burning out student learning can be found in the category 10 students (40%) with the value of the 54 students who got up, the value of the category were as much as 3 students (12%) with the value 52-53 and the students who get the value in the low category as many as 12 students (48%) with the value 51 down. Then be consulted on the t_hitung of 4.59 after consulted on t_tabel of 2.07 obtained the conclusion that t_hitung > t_tabel i.e. 4.59 > 2.07. Therefore, the Ha received namely electrically active learning strategies influence the characters against the saturation study grade IV in the SDIT Rabbi RadhiyyaKeywords: quantitative descriptive research, active learning strategies, the saturation study.

Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of model learning Problem Based Learning (PBL) assisted Fishbone Diagram against the science process skills of learners in grades X SMA Negeri 1 Karangnunggal. This research was carried out in December 2016 until June 2017 in SMA Negeri 1 Karangnunggal. The research method used is the true experimental. The population in this research is the entire class X IPA SMA Negeri 1 Karangnunggal as much 7 classes consisting of 265 students and samples used 2 class taken using cluster random sampling techniques, namely class experiments and class controls. Data collection techniques in the form of the science process skills tests done before and after the activities of the learning process takes place. The instruments used are the science process skills test be reserved as many as 10 description of problem. Techniques of data processing and data analysis using t-test with level significant (őĪ) = 0.05. Based on the results of the study indicate that there is influence of model learning Problem Based Learning (PBL) assisted Fishbone Diagram against the science process skills of learners in grades X SMA Negeri 1 Karangnunggal.¬†Keywords: problem based learning, fishbone diagram, process skills.

Abstract

This type of research this is a class action Research (PTK) and application of model-based learning, Structured Dyadic Methods (HR) on the material waste and recycling. Where the subject is students of class X. IPA SMA Negeri 1 Panyabungan North which consists of 25 students. While the techniques and data-collecting instruments namely observation and tests. Learning outcomes tests cycle students Biology I amounted to 76% and cycle II of 84.33%. Increased levels of student activity on the cycle I of 68.00% and cycle II 86.40% then increased the ability of teachers in managing learning cycle I of 75.00% and cycle II 91.00%.  Keywords: class action Research, Structured Dyadic Methods, student activity.

Abstract

This research is classroom action research aims to find out whether the study of physics gasing can improve student activity and learning outcomes. This research consists of 2 cycles conducted in X-2 class SMA Negeri 1 PinangsoriKabupatenTapanuli Tengah which amounted to 33 students. Characteristics of this class have low activity and learning outcomes compared to other X classes. The indicator of success for students at least 75%, and indicators of learning outcomes at least 85% of the number of students who take the test. During the study showed an increase in activity and student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. In the first cycle students psychomotor average score at the end of the first cycle of 75.85 to 79.26 at the end of cycle II, the affective value of scientific attitude in the first cycle with an average of 78.03 and rose to 80.74 in cycle II. Student cognitive learning analysis is obtained through the results of the test per cycle conducted every cycle. Increased cognitive learning outcomes seen from the average value obtained by students before the cycle 65 with completeness 31%, at the end of the cycle I an average of 73.52 with 63.64% completeness and at the end of the second cycle to 78.18 with a complete 87.88 %. From the results of the research, it can be concluded that the application of learning physics gasing can increase the activity and the results of physics learning in students of class X-2 SMA Negeri 1 Pinangsori. Keywords: Activity, Learning Outcomes and Physics Gasing

Abstract

Class action research (PTK) is carried out in order to know the increased understanding of the concept of physics on the subject of measurement through the utilization of the available IPA props in the school laboratory. Data obtained with the method of observation, and test method of the now method. Based on the results of observation understanding the physics of pre cycle amounted to 43.1% increased to 61.6% in cycle I and increased to 81.9% in cycle II. While the results of the now understanding the physics of the cycle I of 86.3% increase in cycle II becomes 90.9%. Meanwhile the results of tests on the pre-cycle average value of 63 with ketuntasan of 28.1% and has not yet reached the value of KKM who are already specified 71. In cycle I, the average value of the test results of students 71 with 34.4% and amounted to ketuntasan has reached the value of KKM. While on cycle II average value increased student test results that is being ketuntasan with 78 of 68.8%. Increased understanding of the concept of the learning results of physics students a minimum of 20% has been achieved. From those results showed that with the utilization of props IPA can improve understanding of physics students on the subject of measurement in SMA Negeri 1 Sayurmatinggi, so that utilization of props can be IPA be used as an alternative to increasing the understanding of physics. Keywords: class action research, understanding the concepts of physics

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of hybrid learning model to communication mathematics junior high school students. This research is a quantitative with experimental methods in the form of pure experiment types. The population were all eighth grade students at Public Junior High School 1 of Kotanopan, , Mandailing Natal Regency,North Sumatera Province in 2017/2018. The number of samples uses 37 persons as experimental class and 35 persons as control class. This research is a pure experiment using a pretest-posttest control group. In this study, the data collection method used is the testing techniques. Based on the analysis can be concluded that there is a significant effect on communications hybrid learning model mathematics junior high schoolstudent.Keywords: Hybrid Learning Model; Capability Concept Training Mathematics; Mathematical Communications Skills.

Abstract

Penggunaan alat peraga sederhana pada proses pembelajaran konsep dasar dinamika gerak lurus dilatar belakangi oleh sebagian besar siswa kelas X-A SMA Negeri 2 Plus Sipirok merasa kesulitan  menguasai  konsep  dasar dinamika gerak lurus. Hal ini ditunjukan dari hasil tes awal, sekitar 82,5% siswa be/um mencapai batas nilai ketuntasan be/ajar yaitu nilai 75. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil be/ajar serta menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang  menarik dan menyenangkan  bagi siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X-A SMA Negeri 2 Plus Sipirok pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 201612017 yang  berjumlah 40 siswa. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilakukan melalui 2 siklus. Pengambilan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan teknik pengamatan, angket, dan wawancara untuk analisis data kualitatif dan penelitian ulangan harian untuk analisis data kuantitatif  Dari hasil analisis data nilai ulangan harian siswa pada siklus I diperoleh siswa yang belum tuntas be/ajar pada konsep dasar dinamika gerak lurus berjumlah 10 siswa atau 25% sedangkan siswa yang telah mencapai ketuntasan be/ajar yaitu memperoleh nilai 2: 75 sebanyak 30 siswa atau 75%. Nilai rata-rata kelas sebesar 67,100. Dari analisis data nilai ulangan harian siswa pada siklus II diperoleh seluruhnya atau 100% siswa telah tuntas be/ajar pada konsep dasar dinamika gerak lurus dengan nilai rata-rata 79,375. Dari analisis data hasil pengamatan di peroleh rata-rata skor pada siklus I sebesar 3,404 dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 3,629. Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan a/at peraga sederhana dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam  proses  pembelajaran.  Dari  hasil angket menggambarkan bahwa dari 40 siswa sebanyak 84,375% menyatakan sangat setuju, sangat menarik, mudah, menyenangkan, dan sangat setuju untuk dilanjutkan, adapun sebanyak 15,625% siswa menyatakan setuju. Dengan demikian penggunaan a/at peraga sederhana dalam  proses  pembelajaran konsep dinamika gerak lurus mendapat tanggapan atau respon sangat positif dari siswa. Dari hasil wawancara dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan a/at peraga sederhana pada proses pembelajaran konsep  dasar  dinamika  gerak lurus lebih menyenangkan, menarik, lebih mudah dipahami, dan dimengerti, selain itujuga  menimbulkan sikap antusias dan lebih rileksKata-Kata Kunci     :Dinamika Gerak Lurug, Alat Peraga Sederhana

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  mengetahui: (1) apaktih hasil implementasi bahan ajar inovatif kimia larutan hasil pengembangan berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 memberiktin hasil belajar yang lebih baik kepada siswa SMAIMA Kelas XI semester II dibandingkan dengan siswa tanpa implementasi bahan ajar kimia hasil pengembangan berdasarkan kurikulum 2013. (2) apakah implementasi bahan ajar inovatif kimia larutan hasil pengembangan berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 dapat menumbuhkembangkan ktirakter siswa SMAIMA Kelas XI semester II yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa tanpa implementasi bahan ajar kimia yang telah dikembangkan berdasarkan kurikulum 2013. (3) Apakah terdapat hubungan antara karakter yang terkembang dengan hasil belajar kimia siswa SMAJMA Kelas XI semester II yang dibelajarkan dengan bahan ajar inovatif kimia larutan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI semester II SMA Negeri 3 Medan. Adapun perlakuan sampel sebanyak 2 kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen I dan kelas Eksperimen II Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes objektif untuk hasil be/ajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah proses pembelajaran, lembar observasi selama proses pembelajaran dilakuktin untuk mengukur karakter yang. Data dianalisis menggunakan SPSS 17.0 dengan taraf signi.fikan 0,05. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh (1) Terdapat perbedaan yang digni.fikan hasil belajar siswa yang diberi pembelajaran dengan implementasi bahan ajar inovatif kimia larutan hasil pengembangan dalam penelitian ini lebih tinggi dibandingkan hasil belajar siswa tanpa implementasi bahan ajar inovatif kimia larutan yang dikembangkan pada model Problem Based Learning (2) Terdapat perbedaan yang signi.fikan perkembangan karakter siswa SMA/MA Kelas XI semester II yang diajarkan dengan implementasi bahan ajar inovatif kimia larutan hasil pengembangan berdasarktin kurikulum 2013 terintegrasi pendidikan karakter pada model Problem Based Learning lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan perkembangan karakter siswa yang diajarkan dengan model Problem Based Learning tanpa implementasi bahan ajar inovatif kimia larutan hasil pengembangan  berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 terintegrasi pendidikan karakter (3) Terdapat hubungan yang signi.fikan antara ktirakter yang terkembang (Toleransi dan Demokratis) dengan hasil belajar.Kata Kunci :    Bahan Ajar Kimia Larutan, Based Learning, Hasil Belajar, Toleransi, Demokratis
