Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the role of local knowledge for the development of character education at the high school. The design of this research is descriptive quantitative. This study describes the local wisdom and a few examples that can be developed as an educational character. This research involves several aspects such as the values contained in the character education and integrated with local knowledge through examples of local wisdom that can be developed as learning. The collection of data through observation, interviews, and library. Langkah-step application of character development in schools can take to reduce the impact of juvenile delinquency through several stages of the study, co-curricular activities and extracurricular, alternative development and character building in schools as an actualization of school culture, as well as daily activities at home and in the community

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research with inquiry techniques whose main purpose is for students to find the main idea and the main sentence of the paragraph. This classroom action research is conducted approximately one month ie mid-May to mid-June. The subjects of this study are students of SMP Plus Darussalam which totaled 34 students and female sex. Analysis of data used based on each stage of research that has been done. The results of the classroom action research process that has been implemented are known that the ability of students in learning to read the understanding of techniques has increased from the implementation of the cycle 1 to cycle 2. This can be seen from the percentage of students ability to read comprehension find the main idea and the main sentence. From the research results can be concluded that the implementation of classroom action research with inquiry techniques can improve the ability to read comprehension in finding the main idea and the main sentence

Abstract

This research is to analyze the students difficulties in the problem-solving process. Based on the analysis, the mistakes made by the students in solving the mathematical problems of opportunity materials based on Polya step resulted in 100% understanding of the problem, drawing up the plan 81%, implementing the 81% plan and re-checking the solution by 100%. The type of mistakes most often done by students in doing problem solving problems mathematics of opportunity material, among others, in the process of understanding the problem of the error in determining what is known and asked, in the process of preparing a plan that is not write down the steps used in solving problems and students write down the steps used in solving the problem but not in accordance with the problem, the error in implementing the plan that is not write the formula used, the error in determining the conclusion that is not write the conclusion given, error in re-examine the solution is not doing the calculation when re-checking the solution. Scaffolding activities include environmental provisions 25%, explaining 25%, restructuring 17%, reviewing 17%, developing conceptual thinking 16%. This activity can improve students problem-solving abilities on opportunity materials. It can be seen from the test results of both students who showed improvement and positive response of students after scaffolding activities. So it can be concluded that the scaffolding activities undertaken can have a positive impact on the students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a significant difference between students who were taught to write descriptive paragraphs using "semantic mapping strategies" and taught using conventional strategies for tenth-grade students MA Nurul Huda Sukaraja. This research uses experimental method, experimental queasy design. The population in this research is 103 students, and the sample of 50 students is taken by using purposive sampling, that is 25 students of experiment group and 25 students of a control group. To analyze data using the independent t-test, and the calculation results show that t-obtained is higher than t-table (4.57> 2.0106). Thus, the alternative hypothesis (Ho) There is no significant difference between students taught using semantic mapping strategies and students taught using conventional strategies to tenth-grade. (Ha) There is a significant difference between students taught using semantic mapping strategies and students taught using conventional strategies to tenth-grade. That means that Ha is a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group.

Abstract

Al-Qur’an which incidentally is the guide covers all aspects of human life, including communications, propaganda, and rhetoric. In propaganda, communication is one important factor in order to achieve the goal. While in the communication process known the science of rhetoric is the art of speaking. Therefore in this article will be discussed from the perspective of propaganda rhetoric interpretation of the Koran. The analytical methods used in discussing this theme is a descriptive-analytical method of data collection muqari interpretation or comparison, as well as collaborate with the tahlily method. The findings, obtained after the discussion is that in the Quran, there are 11 verses relating to the rhetoric of propaganda, which can be classified into six categories, namely: ‏ قول معروف (speech good / good verbal), ‏ قول سديد (the correct word / right verbal), ‏ قول بليغ (words that trace / influential verbal), ‏ قول ميسور(words appropriate / reasonable verbal), Lafadz ‏ قول لين  (words gentle / bland verbal) Lafadz ‏ قول كريم (words noble/Excellency verbal) , The sixth category of those words will be very effective when used by the communicant and communicator for the appropriate circumstances.

Abstract

This research is formulated in two questions: 1) how the pattern of education Kyai Luqoni. 2) how the application of the pattern of education in the present. The method in this research is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The informants were Kyai Luqonis family and the Bani Mannan family, as well as the alumni of the board who were still linked. Determination of informants is done by snowball technique. Data collection was done by interview, observation. Data analysis was done by Miles and Huberman analysis model: data reduction, display data, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of data analysis show the existence of efforts to develop aspects of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor in educational activities Kyai Luqoni Development of these three aspects which become indications of a reference to be made tauladan. Implementation in the present day is also very important to be implemented in the realm of family, santri, and society

Abstract

AIDS (Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome), which is seen as a deadly disease and some people also call it with disgusting diseases lately a matter of study in relation to divorce reasons. Using the literature review from KH Sahal Mahfudhs Perspective resulted in the conclusion that AIDS has eliminated or at least diminished the significance of a marriage that has social and individual nuances. Through the analysis of AIDS-related reasons for divorce perspective KH Sahal Mahfudh, obtained the conclusion that KH Sahal Mahfudh very visible in promoting mashlahah, from here it can be seen that KH Sahal Mahfudh looked at the mashlahah aspects as a reference in lawmaking by considering socio-cultural and the development problems encountered people as the hallmark of social fiqh thought but also by using nash as its base

Abstract

In general, students who learn from several lessons already have some preceding knowledge related to the lessons they learn to learn. This also happens to students who are processing to study science. The students already have some experience and knowledge related to nature. Whether knowledge is true or false in theory. Having prior knowledge, it creates intuition and "student theory" about nature and the environment but is not always theoretically correct. In some countries, educators, especially science educators, are beginning to investigate the misconceptions about science knowledge preceded by students. It was found that there were some patterns in the misunderstanding. Apparently, most students consistently develop their own misunderstandings of science inadvertently and continue to follow the learning process of science. Misconceptions arise from everyday experiences and are difficult to rectify. If teachers teach science to students without considering the misconceptions of students before experiencing the learning process in school, then the teacher will not succeed in teaching the concept of science is right. Therefore, the need for consistency anticipation of misconceptions to make learning correction starts from the analysis of misconception into an alternative solution on how to overcome misunderstandings of science

Abstract

Nahdlatul Ulama as the biggest Islamic mass organization in Indonesia have contributed to the educational and social welfare of Muslim especially in rural community. One of autonomous body of Nahdlatul Ulama which concern to Muslim women, Muslimat in Pesanggaran district in Banyuwangi have a special attention toward disabled children from low income family in rural community. Muslimat pesanggaran are founder of school of disabled Children (SLB)NU Lentera HAti In Pesanggaran. this study will expose the realiance of Muslimat NU pesanggaran on giving special attenction toward disabled children. the main data is the SLB NU Lentera Hati,the collected data came from depth interview of some teachers, Muslimat board and some social activist in Banyuwangi. The study concluded that every body has the responsibility on helping each other especially toward disabled children. what have been done by Muslimat in Pesanggaran should be followed by any support of government and any other organization so that every disabled children have the opportunity to get their educational rights
