Abstract

The purpose of this study on the effectiveness of the service information using scientific approach and use the lecture method to improve the skills of the students asked. The research is a Quasi Experiment with a design pretest-posttest control group design. The study population is students of Madrasah Aliyah Aisiyah Binjai and SMA Muhammadiyah Binjai, subjects were selected using purposive sampling technique. The research instrument uses a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test and Kolmogorov-Smirnov Two Independent Samples with SPSS version 20.0. Based on the findings, the scientific information services with more effective approach to improve students skills in asking questions.

Abstract

This research was influented by student learning motivation which is still in low level. Acceptance by peer were external and internal factors that affect students learning motivation. This research aims to describe: (1) students?? peer acceptance, (2) students?? learning motivation, (3) influention of peer acceptance toward students?? learning motivation. This research using descriptive quantitative approach. The population were the students of grade VII and XI which numbered 442 students, samples were 179 students, which was selected by the technique of proportional random sampling. Data were analysis using descriptive statistics and simple regression. The results of this research: (1) students?? peer acceptance was on the high category, (2) students?? learning motivation was on the high category, (3) there is a influention of peer acceptance to the students?? learning motivation to 29%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan membuktikan penggunaan pendekatan Discovery Learning melalui layanan bimbingan kelompok untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah bahwa ada perubahan atau peningkatan kepercayaan diri mahasiswa setelah diberikan perlakuan terhadap layanan bimbingan kelompok menggunakan pendekatan discovery learning dalam layanan bimbingan kelompok topik tugas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pra-eksperimen, menggunakan satu kelompok desain pretest posttest. Pemilihan subjek menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Jumlah subyek penelitian adalah sepuluh orang yang dipilih sesuai dengan kebutuhan penelitian. Penelitian ini dilakukan di program studi Bimbingan dan Konseling, instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala kepercayaan diri dengan model skala Likert. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistik nonparametrik yang menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor pretest adalah 77,5 dan posttest 101,8. Kemudian untuk menguji hipotesis diperoleh hasil Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) 0,005 < 0,005, sehingga Ho dapat ditafsirkan ditolak dan Ha diterima, disimpulkan bahwa ada perubahan atau peningkatan kepercayaan diri siswa setelah diberi perlakuan dari layanan bimbingan kelompok menggunakan pendekatan discovery learning.

Abstract

Each year students will look for a suitable school before graduation. Problems arise when there are a lot of options that provide diverse schools offer to prospective students. Contributions of students self concept and parents involvement supposed to influence in the selection of secondary schools. This study aimed to describe:1) self-concept students of SMPN 4 Palopo, 2) parents involvement of SMPN 4 Palopo, 3) students secondary school selection, 4) the contribution students self-concept against secondary school selection, 5) contribution parental involvement against secondary school selection, 6) the contribution of students self-concept and parental involvement against secondary school selection. This corelational descriptive research applied quantitative method. The population of the research were students grade IX of SMPN 4 Palopo also using proportional random sampling technique. The instrument of this research was the Likert scale model. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistic, simple regression and multiple regression. The research findings were: 1) students self concept in average were in high category, 2) parental involvement in average were in high category, 3) students selection of secondary school were in high category, 4) there are significance different between students self concept against students selection of secondary school amount 44.3%, 5) there are significance different between parental involvement toward students selection of secondary school amount 51.1%, and 6) there are significance different between students self concept and parental involvement toward students selection of secondary school amount 54.2%. The implication of this research may useful to design career guidance programs.

Abstract

Health as human rights is a very important thing to fight for, because health is the cause of the quality and future of a nation. To ensure the health of all levels of society in a nation, health insurance is needed in order to facilitate the poor and less able to obtain their rights as human beings. But social justice often does not take sides with the lower classes so that their rights are ignored by those who should be responsible. It is hoped that the government will pay more attention to the rights of its people equally so that it does not cause social inequality, because the fifth principle reads "social justice for all Indonesian people". So the purpose of writing this article is to find out the causes of injustice in the quality of services provided by RSUD to patients using BPJS in the perspective of multicultural counseling.

Abstract

Miskonsepsi Prodi BPI/BKI merupakan salah satu hal yang sudah terjadi cukup lama. Miskonsepsi terhadap prodi ini dimulai dari pemerintah dalam hal ini Kementerian Agama, PTKIN meliputi seluruh civitas akademika prodi BPI/BKI, sampai kepada pengguna lulusan. Miskonsepsi ini harus segera diselesaikan oleh semua pemangku kebijakan dan civitas akademika untuk menyelamatkan kelangsungan masa depan prodi ini, dan tentunya adalah mahasiswa dan alumninya. Beberapa bentuk miskonsepsi prodi BPI/BKI Fakultas Dakwah yang dapat dianalisis mulai dari: (1) Penamaan Prodi, (2) Struktur Kurikulum, (3) Alumni bisa jadi konselor, (4) Rumpun Ilmu, (5) Objek Praktik Spesifik (OPS).

Abstract

This research aim to know how is the psychoogical dynamic of the wife who sued for divorce from husband. This research is using the qualitative method specifically in phenomenological approach. There are 3 informants of this research, which are 3 marriage women with more than 3 years age of marriage. The data taken by interview and observation. The Result of this research the psychological dynamic shows : guilt to the child, trauma to marriage, anxiety or worry in choosing the right partner and disappointment of the concept of marriage that is not in accordance with reality.

Abstract

The technological advances that lead to the waning of eastern culture and the disintegration of the norms of politeness in every way, thus exert a bad influence on society, especially students, because adolescence is a transitional period of adolescent children making their emotions volatile or unstable. This is why teenagers are easily influenced in everything, so their ethics of communicating has faded. This research is to know the benefit of group guidance in improving student communication ethics, this research is categorized into pre experimental research (Pre-Experiment Design), with experimental design used in this research is The One Group Pratest Posttest. This study involves two types of variables. The free variables are Group Guidance, the dependent variable is the Ethics of Communicating. The instruments used in this study were the questionnaire of communication ethics as well as group guidance services and were analyzed using descriptive statistics.

Abstract

His study aims to determine the effect of the self efficacy with employee performance at PDAM Tirtanadi.This study uses quantitative method with the number of samples as many as 40 people with try out system used, meaning that data have been taken in the test scale, re used as data for hypothesis testing. This research uses simple regression analysis method. Based on the data analysis obtained the results 1) There is a significant influence between self-efficacy on employee performance. It is shown by coefficient Freg = 97,611 where p <0,050. Indicates that the higher the self efficacy will be the better employee performance, and the lower the self-efficacy will be the worse employee performance. 2) There is a positive influence between self-efficacy on employee performance at PDAM Tirtanadi Sunggal Branch employee with 72% contribution. From these results it is known that there is still 28% influence from other factors on employee performance. 3) Another result is obtained from this research, which is known that the subject of this research the employees of Tirtanadi PDAM Sunggal Branch, has a very high self-efficacy with employee performance obtained is also quite high. This is known by looking at the empirical mean / self efficacy mean value (175.08) and the hypothetical average value (105). Furthermore, for employee performance it is known that the mean mean / empirical mean (85,88) and the hypothetical mean is (8).

Abstract

This research is aimed to know: (1) Whether the increasing of mathematical learning result of student through problem-based learning model is higher than the improvement of mathematical learning result of students who do not get problem based learning model (2) How the interaction between learning and early math  ability of student mathematical learning result. This study was a quasi-experimental study. The population of this study is the entire class of five semester mathematics education study which amounted to approximately 184 people. Randomly, two classes were selected from six classes. The experimental class is treated with problem-based learning model and control class is not given problem-based learning treatment. The instrument used is a description test. The data analysis is done by analysis of two-way variance (ANAVA). The results showed (1) improvement of student learning outcomes through problem-based learning model is higher than the increase of learning outcomes in students who are not treated problem-based learning model (control class). (2) There is no Interaction between learning and early math ability of student mathematical learning result.
