Al-Izzah: Jurnal Hasil-Hasil Penelitian
Published by IAIN Kendari
Al-Izzah receive article from academics, researchers, and students national and international in the field of Muslim community, education, culture, gender, and any social religious issues. The articles published in the journal Al-Izzah covers scientific research result as a priority research, scientific articles review, and responses or critics to the existing the prior researches. Journal Al Izzah published twice a year by Intitute of Research and Community Development (LP2M) IAIN Kendari and always places Islam and Muslim society in the central focus of academic inquiry. Article submitted in the form of original ideas, based on research result (both library as well as fieldwork), and not yet ever published in journal anywhere. The manuscript submitted to Al-Izzah is independently reviewed by at least two reviewers in the form of "double-blind review". Decision for publication, amendment, or rejection is based upon their reports/recommendation. In certain cases, the editor may submit an article for review to another, third reviewer before making a decision, if necessary.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to find the reasons of the Private Vocational High School implementing the mangement of quality development to improve the competitive excellence, the factors of the success of the implementation of management of quality development, and the contributions of management of quality development in impoving the competitive excellence by using case study at three private vocational high school in Jambi of SMK S Yadika Kota Jambi, SMK S Attaufiq Kota Jambi and SMK S Dharma Bhakti 4 Kota Jambi. The results of this study show that the three SMK S show the implementation of management of quality development, therefore, they are able to compete. There is religion contents which is given and solid teamwork and responsibility. The factors of the success are able to improve the competitive excellence are a good management which is supported by qualified human resources, good relationship with the workplace, and well-planned policies. The contributions of quality development management towards the achievement that is achieved by the SMK S in improving the competitive excellence are the existence of the quality assurance which runs the responsibility and right well, management responsibility, determining work standard, and local and global excellence-based education. In conclusion, the implementation of management of quality development at SMKs  has been able to make the school has good quality that can increase the competitive excellence in Jambi province.

Abstract

This research has been carried out to focus on the Errors Analysis of Arabic Writing for the participants of Musabaqah Makalah Al-Qur’an (MMQ) in the Southeast Sulawesi Province Level, in 2016. The data analyzed is 54 documents of Arabic Writing from the Participants of MMQ. The results indicate that all documents are indexed nothing is free from phonological, morphological, syntactic, and writing errors, consisting of a form of error of ziyadah (addition), naqis (subtraction), badal (replacement), hadzf (disappearance) and derivative error, although it is distributed differently based on every level of Arabic linguistics. The participants of MMQ competence contributed to the error. At the phonological level, the frequency of badal occurrence is very high, and at the morphological level the frequency of occurrence of derivative error is very high as well, while at the syntactic level, the frequency of occurrence of derivative error is high, as for at the all writings are categorized as derivative error type. The errors has caused the linguistic consequences to damage the structure of the alphabet, structure of the word, and structure of the sentence which leads to the destruction of the structure of the meaning. The errors are consequential on local error although it does not lead to misinterpretation and global error which will make the readers misinterpreted. In the process of Arabic writing, the verses from Holy Qur’an dan Hadith must be believed as a process of theophonological, theomorphological, theosyntactic and theosemantic of Arabic. This is intended as an effort by participants of MMQ to maintain the purity of Holy Qur’an.

Abstract

This study discusses the attitude of corruption based on the perspective of al-Qawāid al-Fiqhiyyah. Corruption is a symptom of a dilemma because of its position not only as an extraordinary crime, but also as a human actualization to feel the hierarchy of needs. This requires a subjective attitude-primordialist-dogmatic in the form of Islamic views with a jurisprudential (fiqh) approach and perspective of al-Qawāid al-Fiqhiyyah in addressing the two symptoms of the dilemma. The attitude and view of al-Qawāid al-Fiqhiyyah to the punishment of corruption by methodology is done by six categories of rules (major theory) consisting of fourteen applied rules (minor theory). This paper concludes that the attitude of corruption criminal cases can be done with five things; the completion of the Highly Political Cost System, confirmation and tightening of law enforcement, alleviating the economic factors of the government apparatu,  to sharpen and culture the hedonism and consumerism, and religious moral preservation.

Abstract

This study aims to improve: (1) the teaching effectiveness of teachers, (2) students’ learning activities, and (3) listening and speaking skills of grade IX-2 students of SMP Negeri 17 Kendari through the application of integrated learning model. This research was conducted at class IX-2 of SMP Negeri 17 Kendari which consists of 32 students. This research is designed as descriptive study with classroom action research. The data collected in this study were analyzed descriptively, quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of this study indicate that the activities of teachers and students are increase; and the students’ learning outcomes of class IX-2 of SMP Negeri 17 Kendari through the application of integrated learning model are enhanced as well. The action took two cycles, in listening aspect with the speech messages as the lesson and speaking aspect with commenting on the content of the speech as the material. The improvement of learning outcomes for listening aspect is increased to 93.75%, and the speaking aspect to 87.5%.The results of this research are useful to increase the knowledge, give positive impact to improve learning result of Indonesian language at school, and increase knowledge about learning models and its application in learning process. Furthermore, the result can be a platform for further research development.

Abstract

This paper aims to elaborate the extent of womens role working in the informal sector at marine tourism area in Batu Gong Beach of Konawe District. This research is a qualitative research using case study approach. The data was collected using in-depth interviews, Focus Group Discussion, and observation. Interviews were conducted on 15 women who had been married and have children, who worked as rice sellers, gogos, burasa, sate pokea, beverages, cakes, candies, cigarettes, tire rentals for swimming equipment, rental mats for seat, etc. The results indicate that the role of women who work and have income play significant role to support the family finance. The income earned from selling is used to meet the needs of household life such as: as the complementary of the husband and family income; for daily shopping needs; for school’s fee and children’s expenses; and for other important needs such as when it comes to crises, severe illness, and other family problems. This study is expected to be useful for scientific development in the theme of the role of women who work in creating a prosperous family.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how lecturers’ competence and learning motivation affect the students’ statistical analysis ability. This research was carried out at FTIK IAIN Kendari academic year 2016/2017. Population and sample is focused on the 54 students who have successfully passed the statistics and research methodology course. The instruments used are tests, questionnaires and documentation study. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive and inferensial analysis after the test meets the requirements of linearity, multicollinearity, normality and autocorrelation continued with the hypothesis testing through multiple linear regression analysis and path analysis. The research results indicate that; 1) the lecturers’ competence partially affecrs the students’ inferential statistics analysis capabilities significantly, 2) the students’ learning motivation partially affects the students’ inferential statistics capability significantly, and 3) the lecturers’ competence and the students’ motivation significantly affect the students’ inferential statistics capabilities. Both of these variables contribute collectively as much as 62.2% to the students’ inferential capability, while the rest 37.8% influenced or described by other factors which are not addressed in this study.

Abstract

This studi aims to analyze the treatment to child abuse at Kuningan regency, whether handling by government or nongovernment organisation. The causes of violence are categorized as internal factors that come from within the family and external that occur outside the family environment. The treatment for the the violence victims should be comprehensive and involving various competent parties. Thus, the involvement of all institutions, both government institutions and the public to handle the victims of violence is very important. Handling of the child victims of violence must also have a policy, which is not applied national but also more specific to each region. Parties involved in the treatment process of children victims include the Department of Social Affairs, Health Office, Education Office, Police, and P2TP2A. Meanwhile the community such as NGO need to concern on the victims of violence.  This inter-institutional coordination is needed to support each other to overcome the children abuse and treat the victims. This is necessary because it is limited if only one institution which participate to overcome this issue.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the use and utilization of cyberspace as new media (internet) in the movement thought of Hizbut Tahrir at IAIN Kendari. The findings of the situation show that the use and utilization of cyberspace via the internet with the Facebook as one of the social media by either students who follow the activities of the intra or extra campus or who does not enter the organization by taking samples in the first half of the even and odd semester students of 2016/2017nwhich consists of eight classes indicate that they  are more panic when it comes to the use of Facebook taking up to 0.89 or 89%. From the use of this social media, then the process of movement of thought against religious doctrine can be done through cyberspace started from the ndividual level, the level of interaction between the individual and community level; cybersociety (virtual community) and finally form a culture (Cyberculture) by a movement of Hizbut  Tahrir. The process of religious doctrine is done through several methods, namely: participation, openness, communication, community, dependency/connectedness.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to investigate the teachers’ competence and work motivation, as well as the students achievement. It is specific for Islam education teachers (PAI); PAI teachers’ competence and work motivation, and to determine the students’ learning outcomes at Madrasah Tsanawiyah according to KKM of MTs Negeri 1 Serang. The research instrument used are questionnaire, test and documentation. The collected data was analyzed  by using quantitative data with descriptive statistics, and multiple regression analysis. After the researcher conducted the hypothesis testing, the following conclusions were obtained: First, the teachers’ competence, teachers’ work motivation, and the students’ achievement are classified as medium category. Second, there is a significant influence of PAI teachers’ competence towards the students’ achievement at Madrasah Tsanawiyah based on  KKM of  MTs Negeri 1 Kabupatten Serang taking up to 5.3%. Third, there is a significant influence of  PAI teachers’ work motivation towards students’ achievement at Madrasah Tsanawiyah based on KKM of MTs Negeri 1 Serang  as much as 15,5%. Fourth, there is a significant influence of PAI teachers’ competence and work motivation toward students achievement at Madrasah Tsanawiyah based on KKM of MTs Negeri 1 Serang at 5.5%. Finally, it can be concluded that the influence of PAI teachers’ competence and work motivation toward students achievement at Madrasah Tsanawiyah based on KKM of MTs Negeri 1 Serang is only 5.5%.

Abstract

This study aims to know the students’ learning achievement after studying under Lesson Study learning model at MAN 1 Konawe Selatan, under cooperative learning model type STAD and to investigate the significant difference between Lesson Study learning model and cooperative learning model type STAD.  The subject of the study is the students of MAN 1 Konawe Selatan class XI IPA. This study is a quasi experimental research which means that it is not a real experimental research because it included the basic steps of experiment but exclude the control class. The result indicates that there is different students’ physics learning achievement between using Lesson Study learning model and coopertive learning model type STAD. The students learning under lesson study model obtained 87 as their average score, while those with cooperative model type STAD obtained 67.3. In other words, learning by lesson plan model contributes more positively to students’ learning achievement than STAD model. This indicates that there are differences in physiscs learning achievement between lesson study learning model and cooperative learning model type STAD at students class XI-Science MAN 1 South of Konawe
