Abstract

Keywords: Descriptive Study, Learning Process, Teacher Professionalism Professional teachers are the determinants of education process quality. In order to become professional teachers, they must be able to find to identity and actualize themselves in accordance with the abilities and rules of professional teachers. This research will find the answer of the formula: first, describe what factors can support the professionalism of teachers at MTs Negeri Bakalan Rayung of Jombang; second, describe how the professionalism of teachers in the learning process at MTs Negeri Bakalan Rayung of Jombang, third, describe how the principals efforts in improving teachers professionalism in the learning process at MTs Negeri Bakalan Rayung Jombang.This type of research was qualitative, and the method of data collection was by using observation, documentation and interview, while the analysis data were inductive, deductive and comparative.The results of this study could be concluded: firstly, the ability of teachers professionalism at MTs Negeri Bakalan Rayung, Jombang was the ability in mastering materials / learning materials, managing teaching and learning programs, managing classes, using media, mastering the foundation of education, managing the interaction of teaching and learning, , recognizing the function of guidance and counseling, know and organize the school administration very well; secondly, the ability of teachers in preparing for teaching is also in very good category. It was indicated that the teacher had prepared the teaching preparation with the correct procedure, each sub chapter of discussion, the teacher had been able to use the instructional media in accordance with its function in delivering the material, and conduct evaluation in every learning process well; thirdly, the effort to improve the teachers professionalism in madrasah is done by the principal and teacher concern. Efforts that had been made by the principal, among others, by holding meetings, upgrading class teachers, and establishing the discipline enforcement on teachers and employees, holding regular meetings among teachers in the field of study and conduct self-assessment.

Abstract

The formulation of this research problem is: first, how is the implementation of Talaqqi method in memorizing Al Quran at School of Hafidz Quran of Muhajirin in Central Gresik ?; second, what are the inhibiting and its supporting factors?; third, how is the solution to overcome these obstacles?The type of research in this study used field research with a qualitative approach; and the methods of data collection were observation, interviews, and documentation.The research findings in this research can be concluded that first: The implementation of Talaqqi method in memorizing Al Quran at School of Hafidz Quran of Muhajirin in Central Gresik is carried out with four stages: preparation, applying, material, evaluation and closing; second: supporting factor of talaqqi method implementation in memorizing Al-Quran at School of Hafidz Quran of Muhajirin in Central Gresik that is the existence of adequate facilities, productivity of santri (students)’ age, professionalism of teachers based on the fields, treatment of ustadz/ustadzah (teachers), quiet environment, santri guardian, as well as regular meetings. While, the inhibiting factors are santri’s difficulty in arranging time, lack of awareness of talaqqi method benefit, lack of santri’s fluency in reading Al-Quran, and lack of santri guardian’s support; third: the solution to overcome these obstacles is to give the task of memorizing at home, to provide a model of tadarrus (reciting) the Quran, to encourage students to study in the TPQ (a place of learning to recite Al-Quran), to establish communication with the santri guardian. Keywords: Talaqqi Method, Memorizing Al Quran, Implementation

Abstract

This research discusses how models of learning strategies of Islamic religious education; second, how the learning concept of essentialism philosophy; third, how the models of learning strategy of Islamic education in essentialism philosophy perpesktif.The type of research in this thesis uses library research, with a qualitative approach; data collection method: documentary method, that is to collect data and information on library materials relevant to research object; is data analysis with deductive method and inductive method.The research findings in this thesis can be summarized: First: The learning strategy of Islamic Education is a conceptual framework that serves as a guide for education designers and implementers. Learning strategy models used are student-centered learning strategies such as, co-operative, contextual and Active; Second: The essentialism philosophy is an educational philosophy that argues that education must have a firm footing of old cultural values, historical legacies, which have been proven to bring goodness to life. The models of instructional strategies in the essentialism philosophy  perspective are teacher-centered learning strategies (Teacher Centered); Third: The use of learning strategy models that emphasize student activities, students as subjects (Student Centered), such as contextual learning (CTL), Active learning, and Cooperative learning, should not reduce and completely eliminate the existence of teachers. However, the success of education or learning in educating, teaching, and shaping student characteristics lies in the extent of teacher role involvement in education and learning itself. Abstract

This research discusses how the implementation of scientific approach influences in building students critical thinking skills on the subjects of Islamic Education and Character building at SMK Negeri 1 Bojonegoro. A combination method called concurrent embedded strategy is used in this research in which quantitative method is used as the primary method and qualitative method is used as the secondary method. The population in this study are 1440 students at SMK Negeri 1 Bojonegoro. Meanwhile, three classes (93 students) of Accounting major in grade XI are the subject of the research. Purposive sampling is used as sampling technique. Data are collected by using observation, interview, questionnaires, and documentation techniques. The data are analyzed by statistic product moment. The result of research showed that = 0,404, when it consulted with r value in table for N = 93, with significance level 5% = 0,202 and 1% = 0,263. So in a significance level of 5% the  value is greater than the  value, and in a significance level of 1% the    value is also greater than the value. When it consulted with the amount of "r" product moment, there is a moderate correlation of the interpretation of variables X and variable Y. In conclusion, there is a moderate correlation between the implementation of scientific approach and critical thinking skills building on the subjects of Islamic Education in SMK Negeri 1 Bojonegoro.Keywords: Implementation, Scientific Approach, Critical Thinking Skills.

Abstract

Parental divorce affects the childrens psychology influences on the learning process or their education at school. This study aims: firstly, to know the various factors causing parental divorce of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Surabaya. Secondly, how the strategies of  SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Surabaya in handling student problem caused by parental divorce are. Thirdly, How the effect of parental divorce to children’s psychology of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Surabaya is. Type of research in this research was qualitative description approach implemented in SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Surabaya. Data collection in this research was observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis used in this research was to reduce data, display data, findings of this research can be concluded: First: The factor causing divorce of parents is disharmony in the household. Disharmony caused by various things, among others, economic factors and the existence of a third person (infidelity). Both School strategies in dealing with student’s problems caused by parental divorce call the students ongoing counseling. Conducting teamwork with homeroom teacher and student’s best friend to monitor the progress of their attitude, encouraging and being given religious guidance so that students can accept reality with sincerity. Students are advised to participate in extracurricular activities in order to reduce the sad, more caring heart. Third The impact of parental divorce is that childrens achievement in school is decreased or they become more frequent to quiet, angry, shy, idle and naughty loners. Keywords: Impact, Divorce, Children’s psychology

Abstract

Keywords: Islamic Education, Character Building, Role. It is an opportunities for educator to give contribution in effort to form character, hence expected formation of student character can be pursued through Islamic education taught in school. The formulation of the problem in this research, first, how is the learning process of Islamic education at SMP Negeri 17 Surabaya? second, how is the character of students at SMP Negeri 17 Surabaya? third, how is the role of Islamic education in building students’ character at SMP Negeri 17 Surabaya?Qualitative approach is used as the methodology in this research. Data are collected through observation, documentation and interview. The data are analyzed using descriptive analysis technique. Researcher describeds the creativity of the teachers of Islamic education in this school.The results of the study could be summarized as follows: first, in order to to keep the implementation of Islamic education run in accordance with the objectives: a) Prepare the instructional design as early as possible including: educational calendar, learning units and fun lessons; b) follow curriculum for Islamic education designed by Ministry of National Education; c) Use the following teaching method in learning process: lecturing, question-answer, demonstration and assignment; d) Conduct pretest and post test evaluation including formative and summative evaluations. Second, many variables show that students have had a good character although not all elements of their personality is good. Islamic Education has significant role in building the character of students for the provision of life in the earth and the hereafter in accordance with the guidance of Al-Quran and Hadith. This is all also because of the encouragement of the principal and other teachers. Basically every human wants to have a sympathetic personality, because, with it, humans will be respected, and loved by people around.

Abstract

This study aims to explore what underlies the Influence of Non-formal Education on the understanding of religion in the congregation of early morning "Madani Community" in Bojonegoro, the quantitative approach, how far the understanding of the congregation can engage and understand the religion of Islam. The first variable is "Non-formal education" as the independent variable and the second variable is "Understanding religion" as the dependent variable. The problem needs to be studied because the author realizes that the condition of society is good if all parties have concern for the society environment where education is a requirement, the human key to living side by side in the community environment is located. Therefore, the author pursues the theoretical and empirical. Theoretically studying some sources of literature, while empirically conducting field research, by using methods: observation, interview, documentation, and questioner. The result from this study found, at 5% significance level at N = 60 indicates the number 0.254, while the value RXY obtained is: 0.421 Thus the RXY obtained is greater than the price of "r" in the 5% Significant Tables. While at a significant level of 1% at N = 60 indicates the number: 0.330, while the RXY value obtained is 0.421. Then RXY obtained is greater than the price of "r" in the table significant level 1%. Population in this study is the congregation religious learnig community Sunday morning to Civil Society amounted to 750 worshipers. While the sample are 60 people joining to the learning. Abstract

Keywords: Media, Learning, Motivation             Learning media is an important element in teaching and learning process, because it can be loaded messages to be delivered to students either in the form of tools or teaching materials. In addition it is a way to motivate and communicate with students to be more effective, spirit, and enthusiasm in learning activities. Therefore the use of instructional media is needed. This study consists of several problems formulation, such as how the use of media, how the constraints of media use, and how to overcome these obstacles.            Type of research in this thesis used qualitative approach. The data collection technique used observation, interview and documentation. While processing and analyzing the data using data which is obtained from the observation, interview, written footage of the documentary, field notes, which is not written in statistical numbers.            The research findings in this thesis can be concluded: First: Based on the results of the research showed that by using LKS and LCD projector learning media can improve students learning motivation on learning Islamic Education in SMA Dharma Wanita 4 Taman Sidoarjo. Second: The constraints that researchers found while using LKS media and LCD Projector on learning Islamic Education in SMA Dharma Wanita 4 Taman Sidoarjo as follows: Unready students in following the lesson at the first meeting by using LKS media, there are students who forget to bring LKS. Third: The efforts which are undertaken as follows: Motivate students to keep the spirit in following the teaching and learning process, advise students to bring their LKS and do not forget it.

Abstract

Spiritual Quotient (SQ), now being warmly discussed on various occasions. Various perspectives and approaches of it are being developed from science, psychology and religion. This study aims to explore what the meaning of SQ is, how successful Islamic education is, and how urgency of SQ in supporting the success of Islamic education is. This type of research includes literature study with hermeneutic approach, and the source data are books about education, psychology, aspects of intelligence. Data collection technique used is documentation technique and is analyzed by deductive and inductive methods. The findings of this study can be summarized: firstly, spiritual quotient is the human ability to solve problems that originate in empirical facts and conscience; secondly, Islamic education is said to succeed when it has been able to develop the cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects of the students. And more importantly, the development of the three domains is a change that can bridge the individual with society and individuals with his Kholiq (creator); thirdly, SQ is very important in realizing the success of Islamic education because SQ can help to improve the ability of students in developing their spheres. Keywords: SQ meaning, Islamic education success, SQ urgency

Abstract

The formulation of problem in this thesis research can writer describe as follows: first, how to apply principal leadership style in improving quality of education at SMK Al-Faqih Sumber Nyamplong Kowel Pamekasan? Second, How pattern of improvement of management of education quality strategy at SMK Al- Faqih Sumber Nyamplong Kowel Pamekasan? Third, how are the principal leadership style steps in improving the quality of education in SMK Al-Faqih Sumber Nyamplong Kowel Pamekasan?This research is a research that uses qualitative approach, that is research procedure that produce descriptive data in the form of written words or oral from people or behavior that can be observed. The type of this research is phenomenology, that is the researcher try to explain about the implementation field and systematic leadership style which done by the principal in improving the quality of education in SMK Al-Faqih Sumber Nyamplong Kowel Pamekasan.The research findings in this thesis can be summarized: First: The leadership style applied by the principals leadership is a democratic leadership style, and in this case the principal applies his leadership style to the three basic patterns of duty, achieved. By using movement from button up and top down; Second: The headmaster of SMK Al-Faqih Sumber Nyamplong Kowel Pamekasan has the characteristics of spiritual leadership based on true ethics of honesty, fairness, the spirit of pious charity, the beloved leader, talk little and casual work and so on; Third: In improving the management of quality education strategy of SMK Al-Faqih Sumber Nyamplong Kowel Pamekasan principals cling to the 5 pillars of TQM, while the teachers develop management through the vision of institutional mission that is cooperation with the team, involvement stakeholders, student involvement and parental involvement.
