Abstract

The presence of 3 comparable phases in the Ulumbu geothermal power plant affects the existing system, so it is necessary to conduct stability analysis to be able to find out the Critical Clearing Time (CCT) of the Circuit Breaker system that can maintain its synchronous condition. The results of the transient system analysis to determine the Critical Clearing Time were carried out when the 3 phases of the Ulumbu geothermal power plant were 0.4 seconds and showed that the level of voltage, frequency, and rotor angle would be faster DOI :  https://doi.org/10.26905/jeemecs.v1i2.2353

Abstract

Organic waste is the residual daily activities of humans or natural processes in the form of solid or semi-solid in the form of organic or inorganic substances that are biodegradable or unraveled which are considered useless and disposed of in the environment. This organic waste can be used as fertilizer for plants if processed properly, therefore this waste can be used as fertilizer processing by destroying, so this study aims to create a tool that can destroy waste so that it is easy to process using an Arduino microcontroller, the design is done ranging from hardware to software. The way the device works is to detect the material to be destroyed, then the system will be active, the tool is designed a choice of time for the material to be destroyed so that the appliance will automatically die when the time expires and the choice of blade rotation speed from maximum, medium to minimum. Abstract

Problem with Coupled Tanks is the appearance of interference in the flow that supplies the tank will make the response unstable, resulting in cross-interaction between each input and output. Fuzzy Logic Control (FLC) has its own advantages that is effective in dealing with complex non-linear systems. Adaptive Fuzzy control Auto tuning has the ability to maintain the steady state response value from interference. Adaptive Fuzzy methodology is attractive choice when formulation in the method proposed for the Coupled tank process. Adaptive Fuzzy control has the ability to maintain the steady state response value from interference. In this study using decoupling in the cross interaction process in each tank. Coupled Tanks on the TITO system can change the transfer function to SISO, so as to minimize the effect of interacting. The right way to design modeling is to pay attention to the state of the plant, so that the desired control model can overcome the non linearity of the TITO system. Abstract

Telecommunications systems especially WCDMA networks, require an antenna to convert electromagnetic energy in the air into electrical energy will be processed into the information signal. WCDMA (Wideband Code-Division Multiple Access) network works at a frequency of 1900 MHz with a complicated configuration antenna and has high-cost components. Directional 1900 MHz Square Patch Ring Slot Microstrip Antenna for WCDMA has been proposed. This is a novel technique in telecommunication configuration to make directional antenna use more proper and efficient component by using low cost and easy to find material at 1900 MHz frequency. This compact configuration consists of a single rectangular patch, a substrate, a ground plan and ring slot on the ground plane. This antenna produces an accurate frequency at 1900MHz with the value of -15.19 dB and gains 6.78 dBi at. Abstract

The sea has many potentials to be utilized based on the ecological aspects of coastal area. Almost in the coastal areas and islands in Madura are experiencing difficulties in utilizing marine resources. Salinity changes influenced by water osmotic pressure whereas biota living in salt water should be able to adjust the osmotic pressure from its environment. The changes in pH have an effect on the survival of marine organisms as not all saltwater creatures survive with the change of it. From these problems a system of "Designing Measure of Salt Measure and Sea Water pH Using Fuzzy Logic Based Android" is made. Where measuring system is made to prioritize the level of accuracy of changes in salinity and pH value of sea water. So that people could exploit the sea potential based on the condition of the sea water. The reading of sea water condition changes using salinity sensors, pH sensors, and MCU nodes as communication with android devices. Input from the sensor can be sent to the web server and received by android and then processed by fuzzy logic method to get the maximum output. The system can work according to what is expected during 5 days of testing in different locations. Abstract

Tsunamis are one of the most unforeseen natural disasters, factors or signs of a tsunami occurring among others is the sudden reflux of seawater which is due to the broken plate of the underlying sea floor receding water, the plate fault is caused by seismic ground-based earthquakes, areas ever experienced a previous fault is likely to occur in the same quake place this is because the slabs can not coalesce or return like the original. for it needed a prototype system that can detecting the early detection of a tsunami that could cost many lives. Abstract

The use of energy, especially electrical energy in need once by the public. Lots of alternative energy in Indonesia that can be utilized to generate electrical energy. One of them is wind energy. Wind energy is easy to get especially in coastal areas. Electrical energy is not solely produced by nature. So to take advantage of the wind in need of a tool that can work and produce electricity well. Tools that can be used are windmills. One of them is Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine with Three Blade which will drive the gear box and then rotate the generator. In this wind turbine the material used to make the blade is mindi wood. The wood is quite strong, lightweight and easily obtained by size. Abstract

The research Complementary Metal-Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) Technology for Design of second order butterworth highpass filter IC. This is caused CMOS have excellence low power dissipation and small size. This research aims to know performance, quality and reliability second order butterworth highpass filter circuit. The method used to problem solving, analysis with the literature and the simulation use pspice program for exam the specification of circuit. To make IC picture using DSCH software and layout circuit using Microwind program. From examination result -2,99dB for gain voltage parameter, frequency -40dB and 88,25° phase shift second order highpass filter. The result of this circuit have low power dissipation although applied to second order highpass filter equal 2,28mW better than generality IC second order highpass filter (GH580). Abstract

Air is the layer of gas that envelopes the Earth. Clean air is air free of pollutants or substances that can poison the body and are commonly found in areas with many plants. Thus, the result of carbon monoxide emissions that have been processed will produce oxygen gas because the steel plate on the Box Analizer serves as a carbon element binder. This applied model does not change the shape of the vehicle so that the vehicle is able to process the carbon monoxide gas outside the system. In this test is used smoke from paper burning to provide action on the sensor. The amount of smoke which is the form of output already in the form of ppm (part per million) can be known by using the display on the serial monitor and with calibration using a gas analyzer. Abstract

Night patrols were conducted in groups of squads, a squad of ten men consisting of a squad commander and nine squad personnel. In an exercise or in the actual field of operation in the movement of a team, a squad leader is responsible for the movement of his personnel, for example in the movement of the squad on night patrols with dark conditions and limited visibility, the team commanders will have difficulty in monitoring their personnel one by one in the movements concurrent in a particular formation according to the instructions of the squad commanders. A commander is responsible for his personnel when one of his personnel is lost or lost. Because a squad commander in the field of operation or training should minimize both personnel and material losses. To overcome this problem, a monitoring tool for the movement of squad personnel in night patrols utilizes the transmit distance from the XBee module and consists of a voltage-lowering circuit and a series of microcontrollers that act as an on-off controller on the led. The workings of this tool is based on microcontroller. The programming language used is the basic programming language compiler that is filled on an IC chip. The purpose of making this tool for the effectiveness of the use of electronic devices and reduce the loss of personnel and matrix in carrying out the actual training tasks and field operations tasks.Based on the results of design, manufacture, testing and operation obtained minimal error so that it can be stated that the monitoring tool movement of personnel squads on night patrol can work in accordance with good conditions and can be applied into the actual form.DOI : https://doi.org/10.26905/jeemecs.v1i1.2302
