Abstract

Kalbis Institute has a library with a growing collection of books every year. Besides the main library, each department also has a mini library with a collection of books that are in line with the departments science. The Informatics Department is one of the departments at the Kalbis Institute which has a library, with an annual budget for purchasing books. The problem that often occurs is when the lecturers are assigned to buy books, sometimes the same book is purchased, while the department prioritizes book variations over the number of books. In addition, the position of the book when it is being borrowed is sometimes difficult to trace because the loan and book management system is still manual. This study produced an Android-based library application, which is expected to facilitate the management of the Kalbis Institute Informatics department. The search feature that can display titles, authors and book covers, is expected to help overcome the problem of buying the same books when lecturers want to buy books at bookstores. The development of this application adopts the Rational Unified Process (RUP) method.

Abstract

XYZ vocational School in Jakarta is also supported by Information Systems (IS) and other Information Technology (IT) devices in accelerating the business process. The current information systems require new proper improvement concept for further development. Combination of Zachman Framework and RAISE produces an Information System strategic plan that is focused and is in accordance with the management of vocational school.

Abstract

Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu (SDIT) Gema Nurani is one of the schools that stands on an Indonesian Foundation. SDIT Gema Nurani is located in Bekasi. SDIT Gema Nurani has several programs, one of the best is student selection program. The system in the selection of the best students still use a conventional system in the form of manual recording in a Microsoft Excel document that resulted in the work in the record into a long time that required a computer-based applications. In doing these calculations the student section will take a long time and often the error of calculating the value. This study aims to build a decision support system application the best student selection using Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. System development method in building application usingprototype model, stage in building system that is by using requirement and design analysis using Unified Modeling Language (UML) and implemented with Hypertext pre protocol program (PHP). The result of the research is a web-based application that can perform the calculation of values to determine the best students with the categories and criteria provided and accessible to wali kelas and students as needed.

Abstract

Current technological developments indirectly have an impact on the development of the database and internet industries. The ease that is always provided bytechnology in helping the daily lives of users makes market demand bigger. A website is a collection of related web pages, including multimedia content, usually identified with a common domain name, and published on at least one web server that provides an open platform for developers to build websites on various devices.This also affects organizations such as AIESEC, the difficulty of its members in completing many and complicated Behavioral Assessment makes its members not do mandatory things in the organization. This study aims to build a website that helps AIESEC members conduct behavioral assessments. The research used SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) approach with the Waterfall model. This Behavioral Assessment Support System website was built using MySQL. The programming language used is PHP. The framework used is Laravel. The result of this study is the development of a prototype website-based BehavioralAssessment Support System.

Abstract

This study aims to provide recommendations designing web-based academic assessment information system in SMAIT Tunas nation to be developed next. This research uses research and development method and uses waterfall model system development. Analysis and system’s needs design is done with object oriented approach using four UML diagrams namely usecase diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams. The design is also equipped with interface design for five actors involved in this system namely admin, homeroom teacher, teachers, parents, and students. The results of this design can be used as a recommendation for SMAIT Tunas Bangsa and IT developer to be implemented.

Abstract

In the parking system the problem that often arises is the lack of information about the identity of motorists who enter and exit the parking area as well as the availability of parking spaces that are still empty so that motorists must surround the parking area, to overcome this problem, an application is designed and implemented to facilitate area information parking as well as ordering an Android-based platform. This study chooses Prototyping-Based Methodology as a part of Rapid Application Development (RAD)-Based Methodologies. Applications are built using Raspberry Pi3 and Ultrasonic Sensors as the main components. The final result is an application that has a parking message feature so that the allocation of parking spaces is done easily and quickly via a smartphone with the Android Platform.

Abstract

E-learning is well-known as learning tool to support learning process ecpecially in formal education. However, utilization of e-learning will be reduced if it is viewed only as a tool, not as a part of the learning process. This study was conducted to get the perceptions of lecturers and students in their views on the use of elearning and provide recommendations on learning model through DIKW model and SKI concept. Qualitative research through interviews of 15 lectures and students was conducted to get perceptions about utilization and process of e-learning, teaching style and commitment.The results of the study show that there are differences in perceptions between lectures and students regarding the use of e-learning. Some of lecturers consider e-learning as a tool of learning, but students view e-learning as another form of learning model that contains active interaction between lecturers, expert and students.

Abstract

Developing Knrp.org sites android application is based by the use of smartphones and tablets are starting to become a necessity in todays society are also with the many who visit the site knrp.org using mobile devices. Applications are made to information about KNRP (National Committee for Palestinian People) can be accessed anywhere and anytime as long as the Internet connection allows. During this time Information contained in the form of websites, social media, and print media. The purpose to develop knrp.org site to maximize KNRP publication, then in this thesis proposal created an android app that KNRP humanitarian agencies can better reach readers. Android app there are several features that can facilitate the reader KNRP in getting the best reading comfort. KNRP android app provides information about the PIC and Palestina and can be accessed in a variety of sizes of smartphones and tablets. The method application created by using Ionic Framework with a basic JavaScript Framework AngularJS, and Node.js. After going through the process of testing has been done, the application made to show information such as news-gathering KNRP and Opera-related donations.
