Abstract

The research is to find out the effectiveness of using interactive learning multimedia with I-SPRING PRESENTER to improve motivation and civics education learning outcome in STIkes Karsa Husada Garut.The taken population is nursing students, Diploma III Grade I, STIkes Karsa Husada Garut. The specimen are 1 B grade as control class with 38 students and 1 C grade as experiment class with 38 students.The research methodology used in this research is experiment research method with quantitative approach. The used experiment method form is by Quasi Experimental design with Non equivalent Control Group Design form. Data collection instrument for learning motivation uses scale with five choice answer opinions, while learning outcome is done by test. The research result data are previously done by making normality test. Data analysis uses T test with SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) software version 17 and MS.excel 2010.The obtained research results are: 1. Motivation before using learning multimedia is low-value, however by interactive learning multimedia, it is high-value, so there is learning motivation improvement. 2. Learning outcome of experiment group is high, while control group is fair. Those show that students’ learning outcome improvement using interactive learning multimedia is better than those using conventional learning.Key words: Interactive Learning Multimedia, Motivation, Learning Outcome

Abstract

Program Field (PPL) as a program that instills applicative capabilities integrated with the entire previous learning experiences into the training program of the performance of all matters relating to the working positions, both teaching and learning activities as well as other tasks. However, the observation while not showing state competence and professional working systematic order. The question is: (1) What is the general profile of each institution used PLS partners PPL? (2) Which PLS PPL partner institutions that have a high tendency PPL effective implementation? (3) What is the level of effectiveness of the PPL student at a partner institution PLS department? This study aims to assess the effectiveness of the PPL student placement based on PLS department partner institutions. Performed using a quantitative approach with data collection questionnaire scale. The results showed the effectiveness of the PPL student placement based on PLS department partner agencies needs to be improved and suggested further implementation of PPL housed at partner institutions whose programs CLC complete or appropriate placement rolling competence PPL expectations.

Abstract

Leadership is the ability to drive, steer, even forcing people to move towards achieving the goal. Abstract

There are many definitions of the validity of the content but Haynes et al . (1995 ) managed to make an excellent definition so that each phrase of the definition is well described by him . From the description that he created , the author tries to apply it in the form of creating content validity assessment table . The assessment guide contains a quantitative assessment of the elements of measuring instruments, the relevance of the statement of the definition of conceptual and critical operations and how well the structure of language and simplicity sentence in a deciphering statement. Abstract

Kemampuan berbicara dan berbahasa merupakan kemampuan awal yang harus dimiliki anak sebagai modal untuk dapat berinteraksi dan berkomunikasi. Intervensi diberikan bagi mereka yang mengalami hambatan dalam perkembangan termasuk perkembangan bicara bahasa pada anak down syndrome. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan program intervensi yang sesuai dengan perkembangan dan kebutuhan anak down syndrome. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perkembangan bicara pada anak down syndrome serta upaya yang telah dilakukan untuk membantu mengembangkan kemampuan berbicara mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran (mixed methods) dengan desain sequential exploratory, yakni sebuah desain penelitian yang menggabungkan penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif secara bertahap. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kemampuan berbicara anak masih terbatas pada pengucapan satu kata tanpa adanya penangangan khusus. Program intervensi yang dirancang terdiri dari aspek pemahaman kosakata, sintaksis dan sematis yang disusun berdasarkan perkembangan anak. Hasil dari pelaksanaan program ini menunjukan peningkatan bicara anak pada beberapa kata. Program ini dapat dilaksanakan dalam proses belajar mengajar di kelas. Perhatian yang lebih pada anak dapat membantu anak down syndrome meningkatkan kemampuan berbicaranya. interact and communicate. Intervention is given to those who experience barriers to development including speech development of language in children with Down syndrome. This study aims to formulate intervention programs in accordance with the development and needs of children with Down syndrome. This study to determine the speech development in children with down syndrome and the efforts that have been undertaken to help develop their speaking skills. This study used mixed methods with sequential exploratory design, which is a design study that combines qualitative and quantitative research gradually. Results from this study showed that the ability to speak the child is still limited to the pronunciation of the word without any special handling. The program consists of interventions designed aspects of understanding of the vocabulary, syntax and schematically drawn based on the child’s development. The results of the implementation of this program showed improvement in the children speak a few words. This program can be implemented in teaching and learning in the classroom. More attention in children can help children with Down syndrome improve speaking ability

Abstract

Makalah ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep pedagogik literasi kritis, mulai dari sejarah, pemikiran para filsuf, dan perkembangannya di dunia pendidikan dewasa ini. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih jarangnya pembahasan literasi sebagai kekuatan pengubah struktur sosial, pendidikan literasi kritis dapat membantu siswa untuk menandai dan mengurai beragam teks yang merepresentasikan marjinalisasi sosial, penyalahgunaan kekuasaan, ketidakadilan, penindasan, isu ras, isu gender, dan beragam kesenjangan sosial lainnya. Pendidikan literasi kritis akan membantu siswa menjadi agensi untuk mengubah realitas sosial yang kurang memihak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis konsep dengan desain analisis generik (McMillan & Schumacher, 2001) atau integrative review (Whittemore and Knafl 2005).  Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sejarah literasi kritis dimulai dari pemikiran Paulo Freire, seorang pedagog dari Brazil yang banyak membawa perubahan di dunia pendidikan melalui pemikirannya tentang konsep literasi sebagai aktivitas membaca kata dan dunia, literasi kritis juga dianggap sebagai kekuatan sosial (Gramsci), perjuangan emansipasi wanita (Ajayi), Agensi dan pemecahan masalah sosial (Hendriani dkk). Penelitian ini memiliki signifikansi untuk memperkaya khazanah pedagogik pada umumnya, khususnya pedagogik kritis pada lingkup pendidikan literasi. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah untuk pengembangan pendidikan berbasis literasi kritis pada jenjang pendidikan dasar sampai pendidikan tinggi. This paper aims to analyze the concept of critical literacy pedagogy, from history, philosophers' thinking, and its development in the world of education today. This research is motivated by the rarely discussed literacy as a power to change social structure, critical literacy education can help students to mark and parse various texts representing social marginalization, abuse of power, injustice, oppression, racial issues, gender issues, and various other social inequalities. Critical literacy education will help students become an agency to change the impartiality of social reality. The research method used is concept analysis with generic analysis design (McMillan & Schumacher, 2001) or integrative review (Whittemore and Knafl 2005). The results of the research indicate that the history of critical literacy begins with the thought of Paulo Freire, a Brazilian pedagogue who brought much change in the world of education through his thoughts on the concept of literacy as the activity of reading the word and the world, critical literacy also regarded as social forces (Gramsci), the struggle for emancipation women (Ajayi), Agency and social problem solving (Hendriani et al). This study has significance to enrich the pedagogic treasures in general, especially critical pedagogy on the scope of literacy education. The implications of this research are for the development of critical literacy-based education at the elementary to higher education level.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the influence of application simulation based learning towardunderstanding of fairy tale for children with hearing impairment in third grade at SLB-B YRTRW Surakarta2016/2017 academic year. This research uses a quantitative approach to research methods of experimental typeof pre-experimental form one group pretest-posttest design. Subjek in this research were students in third gradeat SLB-B YRTRW Surakarta 2016/2017 academic year as many as four students. Data collection techniques inthis research is an objective test in multiple choice. Data analysis techniques in this research is the analysis ofnon-parametric Wilcoxon Signed Rank test (Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test) using SPSS versi 22. From the resultof calculations using SPSS versi 22, the known value of the average posttest research sample increased.Descriptive analysis result obtained by the average value of 77,5 posttest greater than the value pretest 57,5.Non-parametric analysis result obtained count value Z= -2,000 with Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,046 atsignificance level (α) of 5%. Based on the results of data analysis can be concluded that effect of applicationsimulation based learning is positive toward understanding of fairy tale for children with hearing impairment inthird grade at SLB-B YRTRW Surakarta 2016/2017 academic year.

Abstract

This study analyzed the number of variables in the environment STIKES Karsa Husada that affect the performance of academic services. The method used is descriptive analysis method with survey techniques. Analysis of the data used is statistical analysis path analysis model (Path Analysis)The main hypothesis testing results show that the performance Academic Services significantly influence Behavior of Student Learning and Student Achievement in Using Educational Services. An important finding of this study include: 1) Implementation of Personnel Development Policy after the implementation of oversight is not accompanied by follow-up and evaluation and improvement so that policies are conducted no change towards the better. 2) Support Facility Education availability of facilities in support of education is still not, in reviewing the supervision activities will support the facility / facilities not run optimally. 3) Performance Academic Services social skills an employee needs to be improved and excess of information obtained by an employee should be able to support the implementation of activities in STIKes. 4) Employee group cohesiveness, affect how far the positive power of the individual identifying himself to the advancement STIKes involvement. 5) Conduct of Student Learning, Affective showed by the students are still negative mainly for the development and improvement of student learning behavior. 6) Achievement of Student Learning, in non-academic activities, have not increased, so the need is implemented sustainable development. Keywords: Performance Academic, Personal Development, Student Achievement.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims at improving statistical problem solving ability through the implementation of open ended problems in the students of MFB E semester VI STIPAR Triatma Jaya in the academic year 2016/2017. The design of this research is Classroom Action Research in which subject was student MFB E semester VI STIPAR Triatma Jaya consisted of 25 students. Data of problem solving ability were collected by using a problem-solving test in the form of essay test. Data of problem solving abilities were analyzed quantitatively. The results of this study show that: (1) implementation of open ended problem can improve the statistical problem solving ability of student MFB E semester VI STIPAR Triatma Jaya year lesson 2016/2017. In cycle I, the students’ average problem solving ability reached 70.28, whereas in cycle II the average value of problem solving ability was successfully increased into 80.08. These results indicate that there has been an increasing in the average score of problem-solving abilities by 9.8 from cycle I to cycle II. (2) Implementation of open ended problem can improve students' statistics learning mastery MFB E semester VI STIPAR Triatma Jaya year lesson 2016/2017. In cycle I the percentage of mastery was 68%, while in cycle II the percentage of learning mastery was successfully increased to 88%. These results indicate that there has been an increasing in percentage mastery learning by 20% from cycle I to cycle II.
