MUADDIB: Studi Kependidikan dan Keislaman, with a registered number p-ISSN: 2088-3390, e-ISSN: 2540-8348 is a multidisciplinary scientific journal published by the Faculty of Islamic Studies, University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. It is at the national level that includes a lot of common issues or problems relating to sciences and Islamic Education. The purpose of the publication of this journal is to disseminate conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the field of Islamic Education and Islamic Studies. MUADDIB: Studi Kependidikan dan Keislaman will publish the journal twice a year: in June and December.

Abstract

Thematic learning is a learning that integrates various subjects in various themes. The low activity and learning outcomes in the students thematic learning are thought to be caused by teachers still using conventional methods. Teachers never bring learning material into the real world. Students only understand a little about the subject matter and feel depressed when the classroom learning process takes place. This study aims to improve the activity and learning outcomes on thematic learning by using contextual approach of based on religious. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach and is a classroom action research (PTK). Based on the results of data analysis found that the average score of student learning activities in cycle I is 12.23 and in cycle II is 15.14. While the average score of student learning outcomes in the first cycle is 61.88 and on the second cycle is 75.55. The results showed that there is an increase in activity and learning outcomes of fourth graders on integrative thematic learning with contextual approach of based on religious..

Abstract

Family is the smallest unit in society and as one of the social institutions in society. Family as a social system has the duty and function to make the system works. The function of education becomes one of the most important functions of a family. Education of family provides the first experience that is an important factor in the childrens personal development, as well as the first and main education of the children. Islam as a religion that regulates all aspects of human life does neglect out to regulate about education in the family. Islamic education is part of an effort to instill the values of Islamic teachings in its followers. Islam places the family as the foundation of Islamic values. Activities of islamic education in order to build the muslim personality have to start early, in the family environment. Visionary families will make their lives more organized and prepared for the challenges of life in the future, including will be able to build a family that generates a superior generation. To realize the education of visionary muslim family, Islam guides to start early, even since choosing a partner of life, children care since the womb, continuously going on the process of growth and education in the family.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of the application of EDS as an effort to improve the quality of primary schools. This research was conducted in Ponorogo District with elementary school research object and elementary school operator in UPTD Jenangan District and UPTD Pulung District. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used are (1) interview, (2) observation, and (3) documentation. The data analysis used is a qualitative technique, namely to examine the problem on a case by case basis because the researcher believes that the nature of a problem one will be different from the nature of the other problem.The results showed that school self-evaluation became an alternative for schools to improve school quality. With school self-evaluation, school strengths and weaknesses are known. Furthermore, with the school self-evaluation, will be known position of school accreditation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the application of wayang media characters to grow religious values on learning listening to grade 1 students of SDN Plangkrongan 3. Type of this research is descriptive qualitative research. The data in this research are verbal data and nonverbal data. Verbal data that is the recording of the application of wayang characters media to cultivate religious values on learning listening to grade 1 students of SDN Plangkrongan 3. Nonverbal data is the evaluation of listening ability. In this research, the subjects are the first grade teachers of SDN Plangkrongan 3 and the 1st grade students of SDN Plangkrongan 3. Data collection techniques in this research are (a) observation, (b) interview, and (c) test, (d) documentation. In this research data analysis techniques using interactive data analysis, there are three steps: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Implementation of wayang characters media to cultivate religious values on learning listening to grade 1 students of SDN Plangkrongan 3 is already running in accordance with the plan and learning objectives have been achieved. From the results of the evaluation listening given, the results of listening to students is good enough. The average grade of grade V SDN Plangkrongan 3 is 85.6% of the total students 9. All students have been able to answer questions from the fairy tales that have been heard.

Abstract

In this study focused on the problem of how the implementation of JSIT curriculum at Al-Furqon Palembang Integrated Islamic School and how the development of JSIT curriculum program at Al-Furqon Palembang Integrated Islamic Primary School. The purpose and usefulness of research to know the implementation of JSIT curriculum in Al-Furqon Palembang Integrated Islamic School and to know the development of JSIT curriculum at Al-Furqon Palembang Islamic Integrated School. This research is expected for the academic community to give contribution, add / enrich the study in the field of Islamic education science especially in the development of elementary school curriculum and kesesuain to learners, and can be a reference, input for educational institutions, schools studied, in order to improve quality quality education. Analysis of research data that is qualitative description by processing existing data. The JSIT curriculum system implemented at SDIT AL-Furqon consists of three curriculum combinations namely the National Curriculum, the Indonesian Integrated School of Islamic School curriculum and the Al-Furqon curriculum. The curriculum of JSIT is a curriculum pattern that integrates the National curriculum with the JSIT curriculum by leading to Islamic values. The curriculum development at SDIT Al-Furqon is directed toward the educational goals to be achieved reflected in the discipline, relating to the learning experience to achieve the goals, organizing learning experiences that describe the activities of learners interact, and related to the evaluation, learn by using the right procedures and standart.

Abstract

Comic media is one form of media and learning resources that can help students and can replace the teacher position in learning activities both in class and outside the classroom. Comic media can be used in a two-way learning process, namely as a learning tool and as a medium of learning that can be used alone by students. From field observation that the learning of PAI in the form of learning comic has never been utilized. So that the presence of learning media in the form of comics is expected to help teachers or lecturers in the process of learning in the classroom to run in an effective and efficient quality. Comic media can be applied to convey messages in various sciences, and because of its attractive appearance. This media is very interesting in students lives and is widely available in reading stores as well as the fact that some of the students recognize and memorize the characters of the comics they see.This research will be conducted on junior high school 6 Grade 7 or 8 students, because at that time it is a transition period to adult so it needs a media to improve learning achievement, quality and efficiency of learning. This study aims to produce or develop a product and test it, namely improving the quality and efficiency of learning Islamic religious education through the use of comics as a medium of learning. The new product is PAI comic learning media. This research type is Quantitative Research that is by conducting experiment of using a comic learning media product in PAI splitting by using Gain Score Test. Based on the results of the Gain Score Test in the control class obtained an average value of 0.3 and the treatment class obtained an average value of 0.57. So it can be concluded that treatment classes that use PAI comic media have significantly improved learning outcomes compared to control classes using conventional learning media.

Abstract

The use of comics as a learning media is very rare to find, the tendency of teachers lazy to use because it must first draw a strong reason teachers do not use this media. Comics as a learning medium is very powerful and can evoke students understanding of the material because of the interesting storyline and the existence of images that are favored by children, researchers want to try to cultivate and introduce to the public and educators that the comic media can be an alternative learning meda, especially the comic strips which are the simplest and easiest types of comics. This introduction is done through an experimental study conducted in SDMT Ponorogo which incidentally as an elementary school favorite and excel in the field of academic and applied in class 4 with class considerations that have unique characteristics. It is expected that the results of this Research will be of great benefit to educators and learners in all classes in general.

Abstract

Learning is the basic human need to know something, whether packed formally or not. There is not one method that is appropriate and certainly appropriate with all students. Students have their own learning styles between one another can’t be equated. Real memorable learning comes from the will of the heart, not coercion. The uniqueness of each individual is what makes the variety of learning styles should be understood so that each student can overcome difficulties learning. In the implementation of learning many teachers doesn’t understand the learning style, so as to force students to always pay attention to the speech and explanation of teachers. The learning process will be effective if the method of learning  used can accommodate students. Research on the most appropriate teaching methods turns out to be a failure, because each teaching method depends on the way or style of the student in learning. This research was conducted in the school as a place of observation (field research) by using a quantitative approach. Data were collected by questionnaires, observations, interviews, and document studies which were then processed and analytically analyzed descriptively. The results of research showed that a class can not be equally aligned using and applying a single learning method only. Because in the class there are several learning styles of students. The students learning style visually dominates the class, followed by the auditorial style, and the kinesthetic style. This research also provides advice to educators / teachers to understand the diversity of student learning styles. so that with the basic teachers are required to be more creative and innovative in applying the method of learning so that all learning styles of students can be accommodated, so that with this understanding of learning achievement can be improved.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the learning outcomes of science of human body and animal 5th grade animal organ function through the application of interactive model based on flash. This form of research is a classroom action research of 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of 4 stages: planning, action implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of the study were the 5th graders of SDN 05 Dagen as many as 20 students. Data collection techniques use observation, interview, test and documentation. Data analysis technique used is interactive analysis model which has three component that is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of research that is with the implementation of learning in the cycle I and cycle II can be concluded that there is an increase in learning outcomes by applying interactive multimedia based flash. This can be demonstrated by the increased ability of students from before and after action.

Abstract

The institution always expects the output quality and personality, but if the surroundings of education never give appropriate habitus, then the result will not be achieved. On the basis of this research, trying to peel about the role of habitus in developing intellectual capital which is a student at Mahad synergy between the structure with an agency, how an intellectual capital created and run in a Mahad university. The question of the Islamic College during this time, when students are extremely variable input, its ability to be tough in the formation and determination of the standard of their abilities.  The results of this study found that the role of habitus intellectual capital improvement done in Mahad Aly Al Furqon Ponorogo there are seven models of the structure that supports the students intellectual capital development in Mahad Aly Al Furqon Ponorogo. As for overcoming the Burnout, the students do a variety of activities that make students fresh so avoid burnout. The results of the intellectual capital developed in the Mahad Aly Al Furqon students achieved the target of memorizing a set amount and the more intellectual growth of students marked with a creative, independent inquiries, in drawing up the scientific agenda, active removing the arguments in different ways.
