MUADDIB: Studi Kependidikan dan Keislaman, with a registered number p-ISSN: 2088-3390, e-ISSN: 2540-8348 is a multidisciplinary scientific journal published by the Faculty of Islamic Studies, University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. It is at the national level that includes a lot of common issues or problems relating to sciences and Islamic Education. The purpose of the publication of this journal is to disseminate conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the field of Islamic Education and Islamic Studies. MUADDIB: Studi Kependidikan dan Keislaman will publish the journal twice a year: in June and December.

Abstract

Besides known as the father of the nation, KH. Abdul Wahid Hasyim is also known as a young scholar who pioneered the renewal of the education system, especially in pesantren. There are three things that AWH did in reforming the pesantren education system, is: renewal in teaching methodology, improving the quality of human resources for santri, as well as reforms in institutional and curricular areas. The text below explains the various breakthroughs done by Gus Durs father. style of educational innovation, namely: 1) Getting familiar with modern methodology; 2) Increasingly oriented towards functional education, ie open to development outside of itself; 3) Diversification of programs and activities more open and dependent with kiai is not absolute, and at the same time can equip students with various knowledge outside of religion lesson or skill that needed work world; and 4) Can serve as a community development center.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to (1) plan teaching learning Indonesian with media audio of local folklore of Magetan to cultivate religious values in MI Nurul Islam Tanjung Bendo, Magetan, (2) do teaching learning Indonesian with media audio of local folklore of Magetan to cultivate religious values in MI Nurul Islam Tanjung Bendo, Magetan, and (3) evaluate teaching learning Indonesian with media audio of local folklore of Magetan to cultivate religious values in MI Nurul Islam Tanjung Bendo, Magetan.  This research using qualitative research descriptive. Source of the data in this study are both learning activities conducted by the teachers and students, and documentation. Techniques collecting data used was interviewing and documentating. The results showed that (1) planning of teaching learning is in the form of lesson plan (RPP) and the preparation of the media audio is in the form of recording, and also the tests (2) teaching learning Indonesian is based on the lesson plans, settig up a teaching materials and software learning. (3) evaluating the teachig learning was done in the form of written and oral test.

Abstract

Interactive multimedia here is a learning medium that combines text, amber, audio. Interactive multimedia based on religious characters here is an interactive multimedia which contains the value of religious characters. The purpose of this study is to determine the ability to write short stories using interactive multimedia based on religious characters of grade 6 elementary school students. This research was a qualitative descriptive study. Verbal data in this study are the results of recording short story writing using interactive multimedia based on religious characters and nonverbal data, namely the value of the evaluation results of the ability to write short stories of grade 6 students using interactive multimedia based on religious characters. Subjects in this study were students of grade 6 Kawedanan 2 State Elementary School, totaling 39 people. This study uses data collection techniques, namely (a) observation, (b) interviews, and (c) tests. Data in this study will be analyzed with interactive data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the evaluation given, students short story writing skills are good. All students have achieved the Minimum Completion Criteria that has been set, namely 75. In learning to write short stories, the average grade is 82.18% of the total 39 students. The lowest value is 75 and the highest value is 90.

Abstract

The teaching and learning process really requires an assessment to find out the effectiveness of the learning that has been done. Assessment in the learning process aims to determine various issues related to development and reciprocity, so that learning is expected to be oriented towards developing an assessment of the quality of learning in school. The results of the assessment can be used by the teacher to improve learning activities. In this case, the assessment must be seen as an important thing that can give ideas for the teacher to carry out further learning. General subjects in MI Muhammadiyah 5 Wonoasri use the KTSP curriculum. In line with the characteristics of the competency-based curriculum that is oriented to mastery of competencies, the assessment system applied is in the form of a competency-based assessment system. Thus the standard of educational assessment for competency-based curriculum is a standard assessment system that is oriented to the level of mastery of competencies targeted in the curriculum. In the 2013 curriculum carried out on religious subjects, the assessment carried out was authentic assessment.

Abstract

There is no sexiest word besides Radicalism. Its existence often makes people stricken with fear. Even those who guessed that the end of radicalism was a brutal act of terrorism. The end of the religion is related. Various types of prevention are carried out by various official governmental and private institutions. The aim is none other than so that the ideas that lead to acts of terror can be stopped. In understanding the meaning of radicalism, many are confused, because if it is traced, the equivalent of the word radicalism is not in accordance with the meaning. Because the meaning of the radik is root / rooted (meaning deep thinking / philosophizing), while people do too much, they may not necessarily think deeply. Meanwhile, the word ism itself which contains the meaning of a notion, should be distinguished by an act that ends brutally. Herein lies the error, the word used to describe this should be extremism. Because there are always people who overdo it.That the symptoms of radicalism among Muslims in the post-New Order era can be seen as an act of identity carried out in order to respond and answer the crisis of identity they experienced in the midst of dramatic and dramatic changes that occurred in Indonesia in the early phase of transition to democracy. not right if always associated with religion. But it does not mean that in religion there is no action, in any religion there are always people who interpret religion in a textual way, raping the scriptures for their interests. So that short-sightedness leads to brutal action / terror. The Muhammadiyah which is the main guardian of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia will also not agree with various kinds of violence, occupation and deviant acts. Its just that Muhammadiyah suggested that the handling that smelled of Islam be carried out with a persuasive approach. Therefore, if the government insists on repressive actions, new terrorists will emerge. The emergence of radicalism cannot be separated from the long history of this nation, herein lies the ambivalent nature that we must seek and solve together, so that such ideas do not reappear.

Abstract

The religion of Islam as the religion of fitrah, is not only in accordance with the instinct of human religiosity, but also in accordance with even the development of its nature, including mansuia resources that will bring to its wholeness and personal perfection. This personal perfection which in Islamic education is called the human al-kamil, or perfect man. By nature, humans have found tauhid, though still in the immaterial realm (spirit realm). From that understanding, it can be understood that human nature is a tendency to know, or to seek God. This can be found in the consensus between God and the spirits who later became the general constitution. The consensus begins with Gods question to the spirit, is not I your Lord? (they answer) surely you are our god, we are witnesses. Humans are creatures because they are influenced by innate (basic human potential) and environment. This is one of the essence of human being.

Abstract

Thematic learning is a learning that integrates various subjects in various themes. The low activity and learning outcomes in the students thematic learning are thought to be caused by teachers still using conventional methods. Teachers never bring learning material into the real world. Students only understand a little about the subject matter and feel depressed when the classroom learning process takes place. This study aims to improve the activity and learning outcomes on thematic learning by using contextual approach of based on religious. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach and is a classroom action research (PTK). Based on the results of data analysis found that the average score of student learning activities in cycle I is 12.23 and in cycle II is 15.14. While the average score of student learning outcomes in the first cycle is 61.88 and on the second cycle is 75.55. The results showed that there is an increase in activity and learning outcomes of fourth graders on integrative thematic learning with contextual approach of based on religious..

Abstract

Family is the smallest unit in society and as one of the social institutions in society. Family as a social system has the duty and function to make the system works. The function of education becomes one of the most important functions of a family. Education of family provides the first experience that is an important factor in the childrens personal development, as well as the first and main education of the children. Islam as a religion that regulates all aspects of human life does neglect out to regulate about education in the family. Islamic education is part of an effort to instill the values of Islamic teachings in its followers. Islam places the family as the foundation of Islamic values. Activities of islamic education in order to build the muslim personality have to start early, in the family environment. Visionary families will make their lives more organized and prepared for the challenges of life in the future, including will be able to build a family that generates a superior generation. To realize the education of visionary muslim family, Islam guides to start early, even since choosing a partner of life, children care since the womb, continuously going on the process of growth and education in the family.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of the application of EDS as an effort to improve the quality of primary schools. This research was conducted in Ponorogo District with elementary school research object and elementary school operator in UPTD Jenangan District and UPTD Pulung District. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used are (1) interview, (2) observation, and (3) documentation. The data analysis used is a qualitative technique, namely to examine the problem on a case by case basis because the researcher believes that the nature of a problem one will be different from the nature of the other problem.The results showed that school self-evaluation became an alternative for schools to improve school quality. With school self-evaluation, school strengths and weaknesses are known. Furthermore, with the school self-evaluation, will be known position of school accreditation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the application of wayang media characters to grow religious values on learning listening to grade 1 students of SDN Plangkrongan 3. Type of this research is descriptive qualitative research. The data in this research are verbal data and nonverbal data. Verbal data that is the recording of the application of wayang characters media to cultivate religious values on learning listening to grade 1 students of SDN Plangkrongan 3. Nonverbal data is the evaluation of listening ability. In this research, the subjects are the first grade teachers of SDN Plangkrongan 3 and the 1st grade students of SDN Plangkrongan 3. Data collection techniques in this research are (a) observation, (b) interview, and (c) test, (d) documentation. In this research data analysis techniques using interactive data analysis, there are three steps: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Implementation of wayang characters media to cultivate religious values on learning listening to grade 1 students of SDN Plangkrongan 3 is already running in accordance with the plan and learning objectives have been achieved. From the results of the evaluation listening given, the results of listening to students is good enough. The average grade of grade V SDN Plangkrongan 3 is 85.6% of the total students 9. All students have been able to answer questions from the fairy tales that have been heard.
