Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to re-look at how to build the character of todays young generation if we see still many behaviors or attitudes of the young generation that are far from expectations, this is associated with 21-century skills-based learning model that is being applied in schools, as for the methods used in this writing is the study of several sources of books, journals and other references that support this writing. from the results of theoretical studies can be concluded that the development of character for the young generation today is not separated from the culture and the three environments that support families, schools and communities. The use of 21st century skills-based learning model used in teaching and learning process as a way to build character must be tailored to the needs and objectives of learning, so that the learning objectives can be achieved well.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students learning outcomes and learning activities through the implementation of Value Clarification Technique (VCT) learning approach on the fourth grade students of SD Inpres Pampang I Makassar with PKn subject. The research involved one class as a subject of research given treatment, without a comparison class. Before and after the implementation of VCT, subjects were given a test. The test results were compared to determine the impact of VCT on students learning outcomes. Observations were made on student learning activities. Based on the results of preliminary observations related to PKn subject in SD Inpres Pampang I Makassar, it was revealed that the learning still applies the lecture method, the teacher dominates the learning, while students tend to be passive, they only listen and record the subject matter described by the teacher. Based on the result of the study, it can be concluded that the implementation of VCT learning approach can improve students learning outcomes and learning activities. The implementation of this approach has a positive influence on the ability to convey ideas, established cooperative relationships between teachers and students, the freedom to convey students feelings related to the solution given to a problem they face and foster student responsibility.

Abstract

Research aims to understand 1) the role of citizenship education, and 2). Multicultural culture in infuse values patriotism against a citizen.The research is the qualitative study, technique data collection by using the literature study and observation, technique the analysis used is a technique interactive data analysis consists of 4 stages, namely : 1 ) data collection, 2 ) reduction data, 3 ) the presentation of data, and 4 ) withdrawal of conclusion. The results of the study is as follows.1 ) citizenship education have a very crucial role in grow developed in mindset, the attitudes and behavior, unity peace, tolerant and values patriotism without leaving diversity who are already is typical of the indonesia. 2 ) of a culture multicultural owned indonesia very influential in infuse attitude patroitism where the cultural give a lesson valuable namely imparting flavor love towards a nation through a cultural compound owned by a nation.

Abstract

The aims of this study were to analyze multicultural educational policy for non-Islamic students at Kupang Muhammadiyah School. The researce use qualitative method. Subject of research was determined of technic of purposive sampling such as school environement, curriculum, teacher/headmaster and students at SMA and SMK Muhammadiyah Kupang. Meanwhile, the data was collected through in-depth interview, observation, file note, and document. The research uses qualitative method in one circle to analyze data among collection, organization, reading/memo, description, classification, interpretation, and visualization. As a result, the study found multicultural educational policy at SMA and SMK Muhammadiyah Kupang can be showed on recognition of the rights of the students, namely: schools as ideology Islamic approve students from whole religions, non-Islamic female students are not required to wear the hijab, schools provide religion teacher for each religion, and dismissing students on every religious holiday. On the other hand, multicultural education policy at SMA and SMK Muhammadiyah Kupang can be categorized into hidden curriculum, because it was not found multicultural word in curriculum even vision and mission, but multicultural values are supported by the teacher and headmaster.

Abstract

The main purpose of this paper is to provide input on community empowerment programs carried out through educational activities while promoting a sense of patriotism for the community. From the objectives to be achieved, it can be seen that the love of the homeland in society can be strengthened, one of which is through the implementation of learning. . The implementation of learning is carried out not only through formal education but also through non-formal education. This non-formal education is education that is not bound and organized based on the needs of the community. In many government agendas the development of human resources is always highlighted in order to develop an increasingly progressive and empowered society. The concept of empowerment carried out in this paper is not solely in improving the economic level, but the progress of thinking and acting on a problem is also evidence if the community is empowered. The conclusion that can be given in this paper is that non-formal education carried out by the community should continue to provide space for the community to develop themselves and still incorporate an element of character.

Abstract

PPKn  as moral education requires a set of values as learning materials as well as messages to be conveyed to learners. These values include Pancasila and  the local values as a reflection of the heterogenity of the nation. The study aims to identify the local value of Javanese culture as material and how to implement it. The research method is descriptive with document analysis technique. The result was found any  number of Javanese local values  as the content of value education in PPKn. The Javanese local values are contained in moral norm and social norm. Value learning was done with a program approach by integrating local values in line with the humanitarian and social values of Pancasila into PPKn materials

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to look at the environmental protection efforts undertaken by the government from the perspective of the constitution and education of Citizenship. The method used in the writing of this article is Library Research, which collects data from scientific articles, research reports or other things relevant to the topic. From the results of this study can be seen that the actual environmental protection already exists in the Indonesian Constitution that is in article 28H paragraph 1 and article 33 paragraph 4 of the 1945 Constitution. While the education of citizenship protection can be seen from efforts to awaken the responsibility of citizens related to environmental sustainability and apply the 18 character values in KDP learning. There are also adiwiyata programs integrated in PPKn subjects.

Abstract

The subjects of Pancasila and Citizenship Education are implemented so that every citizen knows about the rights and obligations in running the life of nation and state. As a nation with a long history of struggle for independence, the love of the country, patriotism and nationalism must remain in every soul of Indonesian society. As the development of the era and technology, the values are increasingly decreasing, especially among school-age adolescents. The purpose of this study is to understand the implementation of learning discovery learning method in PPKn subjects in Junior High School 1 Jenangan Ponorogo Regency and to understand how to form civic skills through discovery learning method. This research method is descriptive qualitative first, to understand to comprehend implementation of learning discovery learning method in class VIII subject of PPKn at SMP Negeri 1 Jenangan Ponorogo Regency. Second, to understand how to form civic skill through discovery learning method in class VIII subject of PPKn in junior high school 1 jakarta Ponorogo regency. Implementation of learning discovery learning model in PPKn subjects in class VIII SMPN 1 by: 1) Stimulation (stimulation / stimulation), 2) Problem statement (statement / identification problem 3), Data collection (data collection). 4) Data Processing (data processing). 5) Verification (verification). 6) Generalization (drawing conclusions / generalizations).

Abstract

This writing aim for describe precident and vice precident general election in Indonesia democration research methods that use is normative juridical. Research result show there is incompatibility between the precident and vice precident regulation election general system, regulation in article 6 UUD NRI 1945 as weel in article 2 law number 42/2008 about Precident and Vice Precident Election with democration that apply in Indonesia, can seen if. Next in article 6 A paragraph 1 UUD NRI 1945 determine that precident and vice precident selected in one candidate pair with direct by poeple’s, conditions direct selected by the poeple’s if reviewed on philosopical contradictory with number 4 Pancasila essence. Historically Indonesia is an eastern country that has a high spirit of mutual cooperation. This means that the soul of mutual-mutuality and togetherness must be embedded in every Indonesian nation that is manifested in the form of indirect democracy. On sociological remember large Indonesia region And the enormous population and geographical conditions that exist, will certainly be more effective and efficient if the presidential election and vice president by the peoples representative agencies because it will be more simple and easy to do and does not take a long time and high costs.

Abstract

The maturity of university students and academic people in Bandung is still not good enough. There are some university students who cant accept the political difference or deliver their political aspirations well. They sometimes deliver their political intentions by doing anarchics actions. This way will lead to the danger of our countrys unity since university student is the part of our countrys future. Referring to this case, it is necessary to create the university students into the persons that have adequate political maturity. The material of democracy education in citizenship education is the solutive way to ask the university students to do polite political actions. The implementation the democracy values can help the students to have political maturity.
