Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Style of Transformational Leadership, Organizational Culture and Work Environment on Employee Performance either partially or simultaneously. And to determine the most significant effect between the influence of the Style of Transformational Leadership, Organizational Culture and Work Environment on Employee Performance at PT.”X” Sidoarjo. This study used data tabulation of the results of the questionnaire respondents. The sample used in this study were 57 employees at PT.”X” The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression analysis, the coefficient of determination (R2), the partial correlation coefficient, t test, F test and classical assumption by using SPSS version 17 for Windows. Primary data was obtained from a questionnaire that the measurement using a Likert scale that tested the validity and reliability. The results based on test validity and reliability of the data indicates that is valid and reliable. Based on t test and F test showed that the Style of Transformational Leadership, Organizational Culture and the Working Environment and simultaneous partial effect to the Employee Performance. Between the Style of Transformational Leadership, Organizational Culture and the Working Environment which has the most significant effect toward employee’s performance is organizational culture.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of labor discipline and organizational culture on employee performance in Legislative Council Secretariat of Jombang Regency. This study is a quantitative research using Likert scale as measurement method. The population used are all civil servants amounted to 37 respondents. Data collection technique used observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Variables of the research is work discipline and organizational culture on employee performance. Analysis of data using multiple regression analysis with the classical assumption. The results of the study indicate that the labor discipline (X1) has partial significant positive effect on employee performance which increasesalong with work discipline. Organizational culture (X2) has partial significant positive effect on employee performance. Performance of employees increases if supported with better organizational culture.

Abstract

As an agricultural country, agricultural sector plays an important role in the Indonesia economic life, especially in rural areas. Farm laborers as one component of the agricultural sector, have a considerable contribution in determining the success of this sector. But there are unique facts occur in Blitar Regency, one of which happened in Gambar, Wonodadi District, Blitar Regency related to wage system called "bawon" system when harvesting rice. The "bawon" system is a profit-sharing system given to farm laborers working on a patch of land from the start of the rice planting to the harvest, whose share of income depends on the area of cultivated land and the number of harvest yields. The purpose of this research is to analyze the Bawon system that is still done between the landowners and farm workers in the Village Picture District Wonodadi Blitar. This research used descriptive explorative statistical approach to provide an in-depth description of the Bawon system. To analyze the data obtained, the researchers used Component Analysis (Componential Analysis) technique, in which the researcher attempted to sort and illustrate the differences found in the data obtained from the field. The results showed that farm laborers earn 20% of the total grain yield when finished harvesting the crops, while 80% is the land owners.

Abstract

One line of business in the livestock sector is very dynamic development of agribusiness broiler breeding with a partnership plasma core. Development of agribusiness broiler farm will be successful if farmers are able to manage the cattle business well through improved individual performance to the fullest which is characterized by an individual’s ability to control and manage emotions and behave voluntarily without any coercion by contract organizations. This study aims to determine how much influence the emotional intelligence and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) on the performance of broiler breeders. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlation method. The selected study site is CV Amerta Farm Corp Probolinggo, because it is one of agribusiness broiler farms that implement core-plasma partnership pattern. The number of respondents in this study amounted to 69 people. Independent variables in this study are emotional intelligence and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), while the dependent variable is the performance of broiler breeders. Data analysis techniques used in this study is a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) technique assisted with SmartPLS 2.0 application program.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to investigate the multivariate correlation between the transformational leadership with extra role behavior and the commitment of organization in PT. Sritex, Sukoharjo Solo. The samples used in this research are 140 permanent employees of PT. Sritex Sukoharjo Solo as the participant. The samples are taken using non probability sampling technique (judgment sampling method). The research’s implication explains that transformational leadership correlated with multivariate of extra role behavior and the commitment of organization. This research used three multivariate models. The 3th(third) model of multivariate indicates that the variant of extra role behavior and the commitment of organization are correlate each other, it is explained  by the charisma of transformational leadership, the inspiration of transformational leadership, the intellectual stimulation of transformational leadership and the personal consideration of transformational leadership that amounted to 96,2 percent. This fact shows the evidence that the style of transformational leadership is highly favored by the employee at PT. Sri Isman (Sritex) Sukoharjo Solo for enhancing competence (competitiveness) of the quality of cloth that is produced by the fabrication Sritex today, in order to serve a segment of the market retail cloth the area of the European union and the united states in accordance with operational standard production ISO 2010.

Abstract

University as an institutions of higher education has big role in national development framework. An attempt to prepare qualified human resources is improving the quality of education. Faculty performance attracted the attention that this caused was one of the essential components in the system of higher education. Roles, duties and responsibilities of teachers are very meaningful to produce quality resources. The excellent performance must be supported by the competence and professionalism. However, the professionalism of teachers is not always a line with professionalism. Professional-quality lecturers are low and not maximal even in class, lecturers as a lead actor so the student in classroom will become pasive.This research is aimed to test the influences of the competence to profesionalism,  the influence of professionalism to the performance, and the influence of competence to the performance. This research used questionnaire which is distributed to all lecturer of economic faculty in UPN “Veteran” Jatim. The analysis used Partial Least Square test. The result showed that competence influencing to the lecturer’s professionalism, professionalism influencing to lecturer’s performance and competence influencing to the lecturer’s performance.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non-Performing Loans (NPL), Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Net Interest Margin (NIM) on the profitability proxy with return on assets (ROA) at commercial banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2005 to 2010. The samples used are 14 commercial banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The samples are taken using purposive sampling method with certain criteria. The method used in this study is to use multiple regression analysis to test the hypothesis that the t test and the f test. Before using a multiple regression analysis, performed the classic assumption test first. The results obtain in this study are simultaneously CAR, NPL, BOPO, LDR, and NIM effect on profitability by 44%. While partially CAR, BOPO, and NIM effect on profitability and LDR NPL does not affect profitability.

Abstract

Based on the provisions of The Central Bank, All Indonesian banking institutions are obliged to report their performance to the financial services authority (FSA) and always adhere to the provisions of the law prevailing in the region of Indonesia. Therefore,  all banking institutions will be assessed its performance by using CAMEL methods, including  capital, assets, management, earnings and liquidity.By using a descriptive quantitative research method, this research employes 5 (five) aspects of banking assessment, for instance; capital ratios, we use CAR (Capital Adequacy Ratio); earning ratios and assets quality, we employes KAP (earning assets) and PPAP (Allowance for Earning Assets); Special for management aspects we apply a  survey to the general management and risk management officer; from the aspect of profitability, we utilise ROA (Return On Assets ratios) and ROA (Operating Expenses to Operating Income ratios); finally, the aspect of liquidity ratios, we use Cash Ratios and LDR (Loan to Deposit Ratios).The result of 3 (three) years (2011 to 2013) assessments, we found that The BPR Buduran Delta Purnama has good banking performance (credit score more than 81 which the minimum score for good or bad banking performance). It is based on some benchmarks to determine the reliability of the bank after the assessment of each variable. We used a primary data obtained through questionnaires and secondary data in the form of financial statements balance sheet and income statement of PT. BPR Buduran Delta Purnama between 2011 to 2013.

Abstract

Experiential marketing provides an opportunity for consumers to interact with brands, products, and services. Personal experiences help consumers to be linked with brand or product and company as well as inform their purchasing decisions. Conditions of experiential marketing are the actual consumer experience with brands, products or services that can increase sales, brand image and brand awareness through senses, feeling, think, act and relate. Telling consumers about the features and usability of a product or service is quite different with letting them get the experiences by using the product or service themselves. If experiential marketing could be applied in the marketing activity of a firm, then it can be a great tool to increase its brand loyalty.This research is conducted by observing the influence of Experiential Marketing (EXEM) implementation to customer satisfaction at Joyo Restaurant in Taman Pinang Sidoarjo, both partially and simultaneously.Five independent variables – such as sense, feel, think, act, and relate – are used in this research based on Strategic Experiental Modules (SEMs), with customer satisfaction as the dependent variable.  The data of 100 customers of the restaurant – as the samples – is analyzed with multiple regresion analysis.Using the t test and F test to test the hypothesis at the 5% significance level, the result shows that sense, feel, think, act and relate significantly affect customer satisfaction.  With adjusted R square at 48,6%, this proves that customer satisfaction can be explained by the variables of  Strategic Experiental Modules (SEMs), while the remaining 51,4% is explained by other variables.

Abstract

Numerous company win market competition by using the available chance and try to use the appropriate strategy to create and keep the customer loyalty. Jatiroso catering service in Jl Semeru Juanda, Sidoarjo has developed to fulfill the need of consumers such as affordable price, selected product, cleanliness, and quality service. As stated by Suarthana (2006:23) Catering Service can be defined as “commercial business which provide food and drink service for public in its place”.The data were collected using questionnaire filed by the consumers of Jatiroso Catering Service. Sampling which supposed to be able to provide the characteristic of the population is done by choosing 80 people. The sample was done by nonprobability sampling which was determined by purposive sampling, which is sampling technique done for certain purpose which in the research was analysed by Partial Least Square (PLS).The result of the research shows that the quality product contributes in the customers’ satisfaction of Jatiroso Catering Service and the quality servise contributes to the satisfaction of Jatiroso Catering Service.
