Abstract

This research is based on data from observation data of students of PG PAUD Uninus Bandung, which in conclusion about 40% of students of PG PAUD study program from the age side including middle age or other term is included in middle age. This condition attracts the attention of researchers so it is important to examine the background of students, motivation, goals and reasons of the students of the adult age group to attend the lectures in the PG PAUD Uninus FKIP. It is expected to obtain data for the stakeholders both at the level of Prodi, Faculty and University level. The method used in this research use descriptive analytical research method with qualitative approach. This method is supported by data collection techniques such as observation, documentation and interviews. The sample of this research is students of PG PAUD Uninus FKIP study program which is in the adult age range or about 25 and up to 60 years old. Technique of data analysis this research use three step analysis, that is data reduction, data display and data verification. The expected output of this research is in the form of scientific articles published in accredited national journals. The results showed that adult students who attended lectures at Prodi PG PAUD mostly aged between 51 to 55 years from the employment side of most of the students is a non-civil servant or honorary teachers and most have not been certified. adult students attending or continuing lectures in Prodi PG PAUD, among others, because the demands of their professions as PAUD teachers for the benefit of linearity or for students who have not previously had a diploma equivalent to some other scholars who have civil servants but the diploma is not linear with PAUD so that they have to go to college or PAUD field so that the diploma in accordance with the profession. The results conclude that economic factors are not the dominant factor for students to follow or continue their lectures in the area of early childhood is more dominated by linearity with their work not because of economic factors. As for economic reasons, certification. or civil servants that only a small part of one of the factors of adult students continue studying in Prodi PG PAUD.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the development of self-regulation of children aged 4-5 years at Kindergarten Dhamawanita Persatuan Pucang Jajar. This study is a qualitative case study in children aged 4-5 years. Data analysis techniques use the model proposed by Miles and Huberman which consists of 3 stages: data reduction, data display, and verification. The research were use multi technique to collect the data use the observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the development of self-regulation developed simultaneously with language skills. Language can really play an important role in determining how children regulate their thoughts, emotions, and behavior. Language facilitates the internalization of children's social structures and rules through their interaction in the social world around them. When children interact with others, their understanding of other people's perspectives and expectations is expanded. This perspective shows that language helps children understand their experiences, as well as the experiences of others, and so it is through language that children connect this information with their own behavior.

Abstract

This research has a purpose to describe of the ability to speak children aged 5-6 years in school.This research uses qualitative approach descriptive method. Data analysis is done through three stages: data reduction, display data, and conclusions: drawing / verifying. Subjects in this study 1 girls aged 5-6 years. The results of this study indicate that 1) the characteristics of the ability to speak children aged 5-6 years in X Kindergarten of Kamal ie children are able to participate in the conversation without monopolizing, but the child has not been able to use words related to the sequence of events, not able to use the word tomorrow and yesterday, the child is only able to say 6 to 7 syllables, the child has not been able to answer the question regularly group activities for 10-15 minutes, the child is only able to use sentences 3 to 4 words. The child also has not been able to answer the question "when", the child is more often silent when others ask because the child has problems speaking. 2) There are obstacles that arise in the ability to speak of children is the phonological process constraints.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of traditional games on children cognitive development aged 5-6 years in TK Tarbiyatul Athfal Jaddih, Socah District Bangkalan rege. The game is able to increase affiliation with peers, reduce stress, and improve cognitive development. This game has been proved to increase affiliation with peers, reduce the pressure, and improve children cognitive development. This “englek” traditional games is utilized to stimulate cognitive development in the naming of numbers 1-20 and match numbers with symbols of numbers. This research employed quantitative method with Pre-experimental approach in the form of one group pretestposttest. Subjects in this study were 11 students aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Tarbiyatul Athfal. The data collection was carried out by conducting observation and documentation in the form images of the activities and daily lesson plan. Data analysis was executed by conducting statistical analysis technique of parametris in the form of t-test with data gathered from the result of pretest and posttest. The results obtained at the pretest, there were 2 children have low score and 9 children have been successfully on middle score. The Posttest was carried after giving treatment using “englek” traditional game found 2 children started to grow, 5 children developed as expected, and 4 children developed very well. The result of t-test showed that the value t count is -5,83 and t table 2,086, then -2,086> -5,83 so that Ha was accepted. This finding shows that there is a significant effect of "englek" traditional game on children cognitive development aged 5-6 years in TK tarbiyatul athfal jaddih, Socah District Bangkalan Regency.

Abstract

Listening has a fundamental function of life including the preschoolers. Human use more time of listening activities for about 50%, while the rest 50% are used for speaking, reading, and writing. Listening activities should begin early for children in all situations. But,it is not in line with the listening ability of group A children in Kindergarten SitiKhodijahPucukLamongan. They have some difficulties when being asked by the teacher to listen to information given. Listening is a tedious activity for children, especially preschoolers. It is necessary to have similar material and interesting way to practice listening skills in preschoolers.According to the problem, the research questions are formulated as follows (1) How the application of storytelling method to improve the listening ability of children group A in Kindergarten SitiKhodijahPucukLamongan?, (2) How to improve the listening ability through the storytelling method of group Achildren in Kindergarten SitiKhodijahPucukLamongan? The purpose of this study are (1) To find out how the application of storytelling method to improve the listening ability in children group A in Kindergarten SitiKhodijahPucukLamongan, (2) To know the improvement of listening ability through storytelling method of group A in Kindergarten SitiKhodijahPucukLamongan.This study uses a Classroom Action Research in which there are actions of teachers in two cycles. On the first cyclethe percentage of children who are able based on criteria of Exponential Developing Criteria (BSH) reaches 33.33% while in the second cyclethe percentage of children who are able increases to 83.33%. Based on the result of this study, it can be concluded that the method of storytelling can improve the listening ability of children group A in Kindergarten SitiKhodijahPucukLamongan.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to know whether there is a significant influence of the method of playing with the used materials on the ability of counting children in group B (age 5-6 years) in Kindergarten Development Glagah Lamongan. This research uses quantitative approach by using experimental method with Preexperimental research design One-group pre-test post-test type. Number of samples of 15 children in group B Kindergarten Development Glagah Lamongan. Data collection techniques in this study through participant observation and documentation in the form of photos of activities and plans of daily learning. Demonstrate large data processing using Wilcoxon marked test data analysis. The result of data analysis obtained by Tcount<Ttable (0 <25) and Ha value received. Indicates that there was an increase in pretest of 27.5% to the time of posttest 43.49% Based on the data analysis there was a significant influence between the method of playing with used materials on the ability of counting children.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research is how is the interest of students in following gymnastics early childhood at TK Bina Ana Prasa Benowo Surabaya? This study aims to find out what causes student interest in following gymnastics PAUD Ceria in kindergarten Bina Ana Prasa Benowo Subdistrict Surabaya. In this research The method used is the method of observation with the type of Descriptive research. The population in this study were all students who participated in PAUD Ceria gymnastics activity which amounted to 70 people and the samples used in this study were as many as 30 people conducted in total sampling that included all individuals or members of the population into a sample. There are some problems that researchers found that affect the interest of Bina Ana Prasa kindergarten students in following the Eccentric gymnastics and the problem is categorized as follows, namely the influence of self-desire to do gymnastics PAUD Ceria with 50% percentage, encouragement and support from sports teachers with 55 percentage %, and the desire to do gymnastics PAUD Cheers for a friend with a percentage of 20%, as well as eager to follow PAUD Ceria gymnastics out of school with a percentage of 60%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning models of role Centers on speech capabilities of child aged 5-6 years old at Al-Khalifa Islamic Kindergarten Ngepung backwoods, Solorejo Village, District Mojowarno, Jombang Regency. This research uses quantitative approach by using Experimental method with design pre-experimental research design(nondesigns) Type of one-grouppre-testpost-test.The subject of this study is a child aged 5-6 years old in Islamic Kindergarten Al-Khalifa Jombang as many as 17children’s which is representative from the whole number of research. Data collecting technique through the observation and documentation. By using t data experiment analysis  (T-Test). The result of data analysis is obtained r = 0,55 and t-test obtained grade t-count Amount -0,88 and t-table 2,178. Then t-table is bigger than t-count(-2,178 > -0,88), if t-table > t-count H is accepted on standard of significanse 5% which means there is significant influence between learning model of role center to childs speaking ability.

Abstract

A person should have the social skills to be able to interact with his environment. Social skills should be developed at an early age, because at this early age individuals have learned to socialize with other individuals. Therefore, social skills can be developed from an early age, so that children can play a role in socializing  with his environment. Development of early child social skills can be done with many things, one of  Madurese traditional game. The traditional game of Madura is a game in Madura, which in fact is currently largely abandoned. There are various kinds of Madurese traditional games, where in this article there are games Kocheng-tekos and bhisek as one of the development alternatives that can be applied in order to develop social skills for early childhood.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the influence of macro role playing method on the children’s symbolic thinking ability at group B, TK Seruni Perumnas Kamal. Symbolic thinking is the ability to use symbols such as numbers, letters and images. This study was focused on examining macro role playing method to stimulate the children on the ability of using symbols. This research utilized quantitative approach by using experimental method with Pre-experimental research design in form of one-group pretest posttest. The subject of this study are 13 children at group B, TK Seruni Perumnas Kamal. Data were collected through observation and documentation. Then, data were analyzed by using wilcoxon level test. The result of data analysis was revealed that t count value is 0 and T table value 17, as 0 <17, then Ha was accepted. Based on the data analysis, it shows there is a significant influence on macro role playing method on the children’s symbolic thinking ability at group B, TK Seruni Perumnas Kamal
