Abstract

Abstract: The purpose the research to describe the understanding of mathematical concepts about solid. Questions research to know Percentage re-explain concept, to know Percentage classify and give example / non example, also to know Percentage utilizing count operation. Type of research quantitative description, subject of the research is students of grade V SD Negeri Gunturan and the object is understanding of mathematical concepts. Data analysis techniques performed at problem solving were analyzed with 3 indicators of understanding of mathematical concepts 3 indicator concept understanding are re-explaining concepts, classifying and giving examples, utilizing counting operations. Result research of understanding concepts 50,91% low category. Percentage of re-explain the concept of 68.35% height. Percentage classify and give example / non example 50.80% medium category. Percentage utilizing count operation 33.59% low category.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to know descriptively the tendency of interest in civics of the fifth grade students in SDN Kotagede 3 Yogyakarta that use simulation method and do not use simulation method in the learning teaching process. Comparatively, this study is to know the difference of interest in civics in fifth grade at SDN Kotagede 3 Yogyakarta between using simulation method and without using the simulation method. This study included experimental research. The population and sample in this research are all fifth graders class, the consist 60 students. Data collection of this research uses observation techniques, documentation techniques, and questionnaire techniques. The result of descriptive research indicate that the tendency of study interest of the fifth grade students of elementary school of Kotagede 3 Yogyakarta which are taught using the simulation method is very high category with the mean of 72,77, while students are taught without using the simulation method included in high category with the mean of 66,33. In t-test obtained tcount = 3.798> ttable = 2,002 with p = 0,000, because tcount > ttable  and p<0.05 the hypothesis that is proposed can be accepted. Comparatively, there is difference is most significant of interest in learning civics of the fifth grade students in SDN Kotagede 3 Yogyakarta between students who is taught by using simulation method and  without using simulation method.

Abstract

Abstract : The right to obtain the basic education is the right of every citizen as stipulated in the constitution and the fulfillment of such right is a great respect for human rights. Indonesia is legal state that has guaranteed and regulated the legal protection of the right to basic education for Indonesian citizens aged seven to fifteen years.  In conducting basic level education has been done since the existence of 4th amendment of UUD1945 Constitution which further followed up with the Law on National Education System No. 20 of 2003. In Aditian, Law No. 39 of 1999 on Human Rights also provide legal protection for Indonesian citizens to be able to obtain the education although not explicit and explicit set free education at the basic level. The process of implementing basic education its responsibilities between local government and society. Funding of education is share responsibility between central government, local government and society.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to develop an training model of smash technique in the volley ball sport. The developed model is proposed to become the trainer’s guidance in conducting the training of smash technique for volleyball sport. The study is elaborated by using nine steps by adapting the research stages of Borg & Gall explained as follows:  (1) Research and information collection, (2) Planning, (3) Develop preliminary form of product, (4) Develop preliminary form of product, (5) Main product revision, (6) Main filed testing, (7) Operasional product revision, (8) Operational field testing, and (9) Final product revision. Product trial is performed at Student Activity Units (UKM) of volley ball in Universitas Tunas Pembangunan Surakarta. usage trial is done at the volleyball club of Dhaksinarga Gunung Kidul. Instrument of data collection applied is elaborated as follows: interview guidance, observation guidance, training model effectiveness. The implemented data analysis methods include quantitative descriptive analysis and qualitative descriptive analysis. The result of research is the form of 6 training model of smash technique in the volleyball sport. From the data analysis of the expert judgement ratings, it can be conclude that the model of smash technique in the volley ball sport is rated as good and effective, so it is feasible to be used.

Abstract

Abstract: Child literature is a useful reading for children. Through literature, childrens creativity can grow and develop. With literature, children can also hone appreciation that is beneficial to the child. By reading literature, children can feel something fun and exciting. In addition, literary works also provide values and knowledge that has never been known by children. The child will be motivated to read, explore as he wishes, and can develop his imagination.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose is (1) know sosial behavior of students while learning sosial studios in low grade especially classical II. (2) how to overcome sosial behavior of students ini learning sosial studios. Method of this research used Case study. Techniques of data collection using observation, interviews, and documentation. The technique of data validity is done by extension of observation, increasing persistence, and triangulation of data.The results of descriptive research show that: (1) Social behavior shown by students IY, ZY and PBW tend to show Aggression Behavior; (a) Procedural Behavior of students of IY, ZY and PBW relating to the assignment of IPS duties; (b) Aggression Behavior. IY, ZY and PBW often make a fuss in the classroom by shouting, talking dirty, punching, kicking, berrying in the classroom. This causes the IY, ZY and PBW to do the tasks to take additional time to complete. (2) How to overcome the social behavior of IY, ZY, and PBW students conducted by Teachers and Principals by giving more attention and giving advice or reprimand.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of the research is to describe the implementation of character education through the use of Javanese language students in SD Karangmulyo Yogyakarta. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. Techniques of data collection using observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed the use of Javanese language through exemplary, routine activity and spontaneity occurrence can implement the character of tolerance, discipline, democratic, communicative and peace student in SD Karangmulyo Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the students who still have difficulties in understanding the subject matter taught especially on the subjects of  Indonesian Language and still not maximally in the mastery of the concept, the teachers only rely on books and teaching materials from the government so that they can not develop the learning process in the classroom. The problem in this research is whether the application of Quantum Learning in Indonesian Language subjects can improve the achievement of students of grade V SD Pedurungan Kidul 02 Semarang. Results Improved learning completeness before and after learning by applying quantum Learning can be seen by the calculation of gain scores. Gain obtained in the research shows that the pretest used is the result of learning on the pre cycle while the postest is the result of cycle II. The number of pre-cycle values 2592 and the number of cycles of II 3276. While the average value on the pre cycle is 65% and the average value in cycle II is 81.9%. The N-gain obtained from pretest and postest is 0.475% by using the normalized gain formula, the N-gain analysis on pretest and posttest shows 8 students in the high category ie at g0 0, 7 and 27 student interval in medium category ie at interval gain 0.3≤g <0.7 and 5 students in the low category that is at g <0.3. From that category the N-gain results fall into the moderate category within the gain interval of 0.3 ≤ g <0.7. The data is supported by an increase in student activity showing from cycle 1 63% and on cycle II 87%. And also strengthened from the data attitudes of discipline obtained in 40 students the number of cycles I is 817 with 81.7% percentage and on the second cycle the number of scores obtained is 885 with 88.5% percentage.

Abstract: This research aim for understanding and get knowledge about teacher’s social ability able to communicate with student effectively by learning bahasa Indonesia,this type of research are descriptive and qualitative,the technique  to collect the information are interview,observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique by doing data collection,data reduction,data presentation and conclusion, the results this type of research indicate that teacher’s social ability in communicate efectivly with student by learning bahasa Indonesia including social interaction with student,able to mastering many word in bahasa Indonesia in order to diliver better information,play role as mentor, give encouragement to make them active,and to be teacher we must not careless.Effort to upgrade teacher’s social ability including pay attention every stundent’s need,understand student’s  characteristics,mastering the subject we want share,appy bahasa Indonesia in daily basis,try  give them some feed to make communication effective,and make evaluation in every teacher The obstacles in effective cummonucation are including student not yet ready adapt in new environment, not pay attention when teacher explain,and few of them dislike bahasa Indonesia subject, the bahasa Indonesia material not well recived by the student.

Abstract

Abstract : The aims of this research to reveal that through the application of the Jigsaw learning model, there is an increase in student learning outcomes and activities, as well as to measure how much improvement in learning outcomes and learning activities of the material through intensive reading methods on students of class VI. This study is a classroom action research based on the researchers experience during teaching material; student learning outcomes and activities are always low. The object of this study is the learning outcomes and activity on finding the implied meaning of a text through intensive reading materials while the subject of the study is grade VI students of SD Negeri Sidoharjo 01 UPTD Dikpora Suradadi, Tegal. The data collection method used are the test method, and observation. The test method is used to obtain students learning outcomes data through the test instrument (evaluation), while the observation method is used to collect students learning activity data by using observation sheet instrument of student activity where the researcher is assisted by the observer. Student learning outcomes in cycle 1 is 64.83 and at the end of cycle 2 reached 81.03, so it can be concluded that there is an increase of 16.21 points, while student learning activity on cycle 1 is 51.17% and 82.75% in cycle 2, there is an increase of 16.67%. It can be concluded that by implementing Jigsaw model can improve students learning activities and learning outcomes of Bahasa Indonesia subject so it is expected that teachers can try to apply this learning model and always try to design and implement student-centered learning.
