Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of honesty values as a form of anti-corruption education in SD Negeri 01 Tengklik Karanganyar. The results showed that in Tengklik 01 Public Elementary School had carried out honesty values as a form of anti-corruption education. The anti-corruption values taught in Tengklik 01 Public Elementary School include the value of honesty, the value of discipline, the value of openness, and the value of responsibility. Inhibiting factors or constraints are: (1) lack of awareness of students, (2) there are still habits of corruptive behavior. There are several ways that can be used to overcome obstacles and efforts made in Anti-Corruption Education, namely: (1) exemplary, (2) habituation, (3) giving strict sanctions. (4) competitions and resource persons (5) increasing devotion.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the students speaking skills with the method of invention picture stories for grade 4A students of SD Negeri Kroyo Karangmalang Sragen. This type of research is classroom action research in 2 cycles with stages of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Data collection techniques use observation, documentation, and test techniques. Data validation uses data triangulation and method triangulation. The results showed pre-action learning average scores of students reached 52.9 classical completeness 59.1%, first cycle 76.4 with classical completeness 81.8%, and the second cycle increased to 80.8, with classical 100%. Conclusions show that the application of speaking skills with the method of invention picture stories can improve students speaking skills.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to get in idea about inculcation of of in thematic learning containing social attitudes to four grade students of Gedongkuning State Elementary School. Tools used in this research consist of researcher as main instrument, interview paper, observation paper, and documentation. Data analysis technique consist of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The result of this research shows that the inculcation social attitudes are mutual respect, respectcare for others. School efforts in inculcating social attitudes include providing examples of good behavior for students, forming groups in learning, remind the student about social study. Student interaction four grade students enough. Supporting factors of social studies inculte social attitudes are coorperation parents, teacher and community. The obstacle factors inculcation social attitudes are student association not monitore continue the teacher, social attitudes student low awareness.have behavior from the home. The result of inculcation social attitudes to four grade students of Gedongkuning State Elementary Schoolis example good behavior by teacher and other people, give the understanding and remind about social stidies to student.

Abstract

The purpose of descriptive research is to know the tendency of student learning outcomes on V class thematic learning that is taught using project based learning model and inquiry model, comparative to know the difference of student learning outcomes on thematic learning between taught using project based learning and inquiry model. Type of research used is quasi experiment. Techniques of collecting data using tests and documentation. Data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis, prerequisite analysis test (homogeneity test and normality test) and hypothesis test using t test. This research was done in SD N Rejowinangun 1 with sample of class VB and VC with total 54 students. The result of descriptive research shows that (1) the tendency of student learning outcomes in V class thematic learning taught using project based learning model is high, while the inquiry model is low. (2) there is a very significant difference of thematic learning result among students by using project based learning model and inquiry model  = 6.134 with p = 0.000, p value = 0,00 <0.05. It can be concluded that by looking at the average of learning outcomes, the project based learning model has an effect on student learning outcomes compared to the inquiry model.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of CSM strategies on comprehension reading skills in classes V Padokan 2 Elementary School. The research method used is a quasi-experimental method. In this study the subjects of the study were VA class students as the control class and V C as the experimental class with 28 VA and VC class students. Quantitative data analysis technique used is the calculation of independent sample t-test. Based on data analysis and discussion, researchers can conclude that CSM strategies are more effective than conventional methods of reading comprehension learning. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class as evidenced by the results of the independent sample t-test obtained by the value of Asymp. Sig (2-Tailed) 0.014 <0.05. CSM strategy is an effective learning strategy seen from the average value of the experimental class posstest which is 81.61 higher than the control class average value of 72.96.

Abstract

This research was aimed at describing the improvement of skill in writing simple report using two stay two stray learning model on four theme  “Living Clean and Healthy” for students of grade II at SD Negeri Golo Yogyakarta school year 2017/2018. The type of this research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was conducted in two cycles. The result of this research showed that by using two stay two stray learning model could improve the skill in writing simple report for students in class IIB at SD Negeri Golo Yogyakarta. The students mean score obtained in the pre-test was 58,96 and increased into 68,33 in the post-test of Cycle I and become 76,04 in the post-test of Cycle II. Based on the result of the research, it could be concluded that the use of two stay two stray learning model could improve second grade students skill in writing simple report at SD Negeri Golo Yogyakarta.

Abstract

The purpose of this reseach was to describe the percentage of concept errors, procedural errors, miscalculations errors and types of errors in the work of GCD and LCM matter most often done fourth grade students of SD Negeri Kyai Mojo. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The subject of this  research is fourth grade students of SD Negeri Kyai Mojo and fourth grade teacher of SD Negeri Kyai Mojo. Collection techniques using tests, interviews, and documentation. The test of the instrument uses the used intrument test. The validity of the question items tested using product moment correlation obtained by nine valid results. Instrument reliability tested using Alpha Cronbach calculation obtainedof 0.8857 (reliable). Validity uses triangulation of data collection techniques. Analytical techniques use quantitative and descriptive analysis. The result of the research shows that: 1) The error of concept is 48,52%; 2) A procedure error of 70%; 3) Calculation error of 50%; and 4) The type of error most often experienced by students is procedural error with percentage of 70%.

Abstract

This research discusses about "Theatre by Request" (TbR) as showcase method by Studio Theatre Pusat Pengembangan dan Pemberdayaan Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan (PPPPTK) of Seni Budaya Yogyakarta. TbR is an interactive show where audiences can choose and decide which actors will perform, the theme of the story will be staged, and to control the show depends on the performances option. This interactive performance is done by improvisation, considering the actor himself never know who will be chosen by the audience to play and what theme will be played. TbR is designed to introduce theatrical play techniques to the community, especially students. Mostly, theatre education uses drama script as a reference learning, but TbR uses theatre game as method to introduce theatre world. This research focuses on how TbR uses the game as a basis for making educative performances, especially education about the theater world itself. The results showed that theatre game is one of the alternative media to introduce theater as a performance as well as learning materials to the community, especially school children.

Abstract

This research aimed to measure correlation between (1) learning motivation on civic education’s learning achievement , (2)parental guidance’s intensityof education oncivic education’s learning achievement, (3) learning motivation and parental guidance’s intensityof education oncivic education’s learning achievement.   This research was a correlational study type of research.  Data were collected using questionnaire instrument and  documentation. Data in this study were analyzed using descriptive analysis and then hypothesis tested using Product Moment correlation followed by two predictor’s multiple regretion which were preceded with normality, independence, and linearity tested. The Result of this research indicated (1) There was positive and significant relationship between learning motivation with civic education’s learning achievement and the correlation coefficient value was = 0,213 >0,195, (2) There was positive and significant relationship between parental guidance’s intensityof education oncivic education’s learning achievement and the correlation coefficient value was= 0,202 >0,195, (3) There was significant relationship between learning motivation and parental guidance’s intensityof education oncivic education’s learning achievement,  and then the F value was Fregresi = 4,204 > Ftabel 3,09. This was mean that the result of this research can be applied for five grade’s elementary school students in Gugus II Kalasan, Sleman. Determination coefficient value was 0,273, this mean that civic education’s learning achievement can be explained by learning motivation and parental guidance’s intensityof education by 7,48%, while the rest of 92,52% was explained by the other factors that excluded to regretion model.

Abstract

 the purpose of this research is to description the implementation of peer tutors learning strategies in learning disabilities at elementary school Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. Type of this research is a descriptive qualitative study using instruments of observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis techniques using model Milles and Huberman, namely by means of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results showed that condotioning is done by way of providing clarification of classical learning material, repetition, approach, group, as well as doing the game. Academic development is a further development and understanding. Supporting factors is to help teachers in teh learning process, interaction relationships become better, between teacher and students, ora students with students, students in following the spirit of learning more, dare ask  until the creation of a conducive learning atmosphere. Inhibiting factor were the difficulty of determining the tutor, tutor’s lack of preparation, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, as well as seriousness in studying less.
