Abstract

One aspect of the life of Muhammad who received less serious attention is his leadership in the field of business and entrepreneurship. Most of his life before he became the messenger of Allah was as a businessman. Very distinctive characteristics of the business activities carried out by the Prophet were honesty and trustworthy in keeping his word. Among the many aspects of his business that deserves to be exemplified in business interactions are maintaining the values of dignity, honor, and glory. For him, business is not only limited to the velocity of money and goods, but more that it preserves self-respect.

Abstract

Under Indonesian law there are 30 types of corruption. For eradication, the government has made a variety of rules and institutions, including the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), but corruption remains a problem that must be dealt with in Indonesia. Ministry of Religion as an institution that serves to foster religious life has made various efforts to make ummah obedient to Islamic teachings, religious and morally commendable. One of its efforts is to provide Islamic counseling. However, counseling still should be increased in order to contribute to corruption eradication. The contribution can be made by encouraging the extension of Islamic counseling through the development of curriculum and materials used to be consulted with the addition of an understanding of the thirty kinds of corruption, Islamic moral teachings and principles violated by the perpetrators of corruption

Abstract

Development requires a model of socialization with various approaches, one of them is a religious approach. The media, both print and electronic have the trategic position and role in delivering development message.. Radio and television should proactively communicate and preach the message of development to the community, with the hope that people are inspired to help and participate, in order to achieve success in various aspects of development. The problem is the role of public broadcasting services in preaching the dakwah of development is still lacking, and broadcasting companies are more commercially oriented and mostly owned by nonMuslims. Commitment and the role of Muslim entrepreneurs are needed to set up, manage and develop broadcasting services that are more focused on the interests of dakwah

Abstract

Batatamba is a local wisdom that has unique characteristics that are passed from generation to generation. The focus of this research is batatambah ritual against magical diseases that are believed by Banjarese people to be caused by the spirits from the unseen world. The findings of this study indicate that there has been a dialectics between Islam and culture in the tradition of batatamba. Their acculturation is beneficial and there was no tension or harm in the process. Therefore, there is a harmony between the two; Islam gives color or spirit to the culture, while culture provides a wealth of understanding for the religion as can be observed from Banjarese people life

Abstract

One of the characteristics of the message of Islam is taghyir (change). It can be seen from the method of the Prophet preaching to jahiliyyah. Islamic Dawah make changes in three characteristics. First, At-Taghyir Bil Kulli (total change). It is not limited to changes in the one aspect of human life, but it is a thorough manhaj. Therefore, Islam cannot be achieved by mere conjecture or irtijalli (without the program). Second is At-Taghyir Bil Aqidah (changes with aqidah). Aqidah is the determinant of the nature of the change. It is necessary that every change should be guided by Sharia. Third is Taghyir Bil Ihsan (change through humanity)

Abstract

The Quran mentions dakwah as ahsanu qawla, good words and deeds. In such a context, when the mission is communicated by a preacher, then he or she must have good ethics if he or she wants to preach or to communicate with his or her audience. In addition, in delivering the messages preachers should adjust to the circumstances and the environment where they are preaching. Therefore, ethics is very important in the process of propagation and communication activities. Because ethics is the standard values as reference of behaviour. Without a good communication in preaching, one is considered as rude. Therefore, a preacher must first have good ethics and communication.
