As the scientific reading material publication, the EDUKASI aimed to provide readers with a better comprehensive understanding of Religious Educational Studies in Indonesia, and even around Asia countries and the world. We invited all researchers, lecturers, teachers, and whoever interested and have a manuscript of religious education to send off what you have been researched and reported to be published in EDUKASI. The articles should be original, unpublished and not under review for possible publication in any other journals. Abstract

"> This article aims to explain the implementation of religious education at the University of Pattimura Ambon. There are include: the curriculum, the learning process, facility /facilities, learning resources and evaluation. The study was conducted  using a qualitative approach. Source of data derived from the leaders of the university, leacturers of religious education, leaders of student organizations, and students. There were using interview as the way those data collected. Data and information was also obtained through observation and document study. The research results show that position of religious education subject at the University of Pattimura still being under the General Basic Course, neither under the Public Mandatory Subject nor under the Personality Development Subject. The curriculum was derived from modules developed by lecturers with reference to a national standard book. The religious education means and infrastructures were still very lessen. Even, the leacturers of religious education didn’t have an office or room for working on campus. They were only present to teach and then go home after performing the lesson. The lecturers of Islamic religious education got supporting from the Campus Missionary Agencies (kind of Islamic students organisation within campus), both in the lecture as well as in other religious activities.tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan penyelenggaraan pendidikan agama di universitas Pattimura Ambon, yang meliputi: kurikulum, proses pembelajaran, sarana/fasilitas pembelajaran, sumber belajar dan evaluasi belajar. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. sumber data diperoleh dari pimpinan perguruan tinggi, dosen pendidikan agama, pimpinan organisasi mahasiswa, dan mahasiswa, dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara. Data dan informasi juga diperoleh melalui observasi dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa posisi pembelajaran pendidikan agama di universitas Pattimura masih menjadi bagian dari kelompok matakuliah Dasar umum, bukan Pengembangan Kepribadian atau wajib umum. Kurikulum berasal dari modul yang dikembangkan oleh para dosen dengan merujuk pada buku standar. sarana prasarana pembelajaran pendidikan agama masih sangat minim. Para dosen pendidikan agama tidak memiliki ruangan untuk kantor dan bekerja di kampus. mereka hanya hadir untuk mengajar lalu pulang. Dosen pendidikan agama Islam banyak mendapat bantuan dari lembaga dakwah kampus, baik dalam proses perkuliahan maupun dalam aktivitaskeagamaan lainnya.

Abstract

This writing is a result of research on Religious Education of Indonesia Moslem Community in Hong Kong,to find out which institutions and whatcharacteristics become providers of the religious education for Indonesian Moslem community in Hong Kong. This research uses explorativequalitative approach by data collection technique through a combination between individual and group interview technique, field observation, as well as document and literature study. The result of this study shows: firstly, almost a half of the Moslem community in Hong Kong is Indonesian Moslem community, they are generally come from migrant workers in non-formal sectors (such as maid) which in social, political and economicalaspect they have a weak bargaining position in their life in Hong Kong. Secondly, the Indonesian Moslem Community in Hong Kong generallyconsists of female workers and they are not allowed taking their children or family with them, their immediate needs are guidance and educational service on religion for their own needs in the form of a non-formal religion educational service. The need on education and religion are obtainedby establishing religious groups, associations or organizations which in general are not registered as an official organization in the Government of Hong Kong. Thirdly, they regularly strive to meet their needs on religious guidance and education by holding a routine group religious guidance heldSundays, as the day is holiday which in general is granted to the majority of Indonesian workers.tulisan ini merupakan hasil penelitian tentang Pendidikan Keagamaan pada Komunitas Muslim Indonsesia di Hong Kong, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui institusi-institusi dan karakteristik apa yang menjadi penyedialayanan pendidikan keagamaan komunitas muslim Indonesia di Hongkong. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-eksploratif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui mengombinasikan teknik wawancara individualdan kelompok, observasi lapangan, serta studi dokumen dan literatur. Hasil setudi ini ditemukan antara lain: pertama, hampir separuh dari komunitas muslim di Hong Kong adalah kaum muslim Indonesia, umumnya mereka berasal dari kalangan pekerja migran pada sektor non formal (pembantu rumah tangga) yang secara sosial, politik dan ekonomi tidak memiliki daya tawar yang kuat dalam kehidupan di negara Hong Kong. Kedua, Komunitas muslim Indonesia di Hong Kong umumnya adalah pekerja wanita dan tidak diperkenankan membawa anak atau keluarga, kebutuhan mendesak yang mereka hadapi adalah layanan bimbingan dan pendidikan agama bagi diri  mereka sendiri, berupa layanan pendidikan keagamaan non-formal. Kebutuhanpendidikan dan keagamaan diperoleh dengan cara membentuk kelompok, perkumpulan atau organisasi keagamaan yang umumnya tidak terdaftar  sebagai organisasi resmi pada pemerintah Hong Kong. Ketiga, secara regulermereka berupaya memenuhi kebutuhan akan bimbingan dan pendidikan keagamaan melalui pengajian rutin yang diadakan setiap hari minggu, sesuai waktu libur yang umumnya tersedia bagi mayoritas pekerja Indoensia.

Abstract

The School Based Management Program (MBS) can assist in supporting the quality improvement of education in each region, so each region can empower participation and role of community in managing education. In order to find out significance of the impact of Regional Autonomy (OTDA) and MBS on Quality Improvement of Secondary High Education, then a research is made in Pangedagan SubDistrict. Methods used in the research are survey and quantitative method namely a method describing and analyzing a certain phenomenon or object researched and observed with correct interpretation. The use of this method is aimed to problem solving. Data collection technique uses questionnaire and literature research. Based on the performed research, the Impact of Regional Autonomy on Educational Quality Improvement is 0.582. The Impact of MBS on Educational Quality Improvement is 0.647 and the Impact of Regional Autonomy and MBS on Educational Quality Improvement is 0.706.Program manajemen Berbasis sekolah (mBs) dapat membantu dalam mendukung peningkatan mutu pendidikan ditiap daerah, sehingga masing-masing daerah dapat memberdayakan partisipasi serta peran masyarakat dalam mengelola pendidikan. Dalam rangka mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh Otonomi Daerah dan mBs terhadap Peningkatan mutu Pendidikan menengah Atas maka di lakukan penelitian di wilayah Kecamatan Pagedangan. metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey dan metode kuantitatif yaitu suatu metode yang didalamnya mendeskripsikan dan menganalisa suatu fenomena atau objek tertentu yang diteliti dan diamati dengan interpretasi yang tepat. Penggunaan metode ini tertuju pada pemecahan masalah. teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan penelitian kepustakaan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, maka diperoleh hasil Pengaruh Otonomi Daerah terhadap Peniningkatan mutu Pendidikan adalah 0,582. Pengaruh mBs terhadap Peningkatan mutu Pendidikan adalah 0.647 dan Pengaruh Otonomi Daerah dan mBs terhadap Peningkatan mutu Pendidikan adalah 0,706.

Abstract

width: 0px; "> </PAI (Islamic Education) Books for Islamic High School of 2013 curriculum have not been evaluated from users’ (student and teacher) perspective. This research more focuses on content aspect, however, there are also findings in the form of inputs from users in terms of presentation, language, and graphics. The research uses quantitative approach and Krippendorf content analysis method and CSI (customer satisfaction index), it can be seen that a finding shows that the grading of 11th Grade MA PAI Books users at 5 MA in Gunungkidul District shows that a study course having the lowest average grade of 11th Grade MA PAI (in 1 to 5 scales) is SKI: 3.68 and the highest is Al-Quran and Hadeeth: 4.21, while the other two study courses, namely Religious Behavior (Akidah Akhlak) is 4.20 and Islamic Law (Fiqh): 3.94. The same result is showed in CSI formula, that the grade /satisfaction criteria (in 1 to 100 scales), study course having the lowest grade is SKI and the highest is Al-Quran and Hadeeth. Details on the users’ satisfaction grade are as follows; al-Quran and Hadeeth: 84.13 (very satisfactory), Islamic Culture History: 73.68 (satisfactory), Religious Behavior (Akidah Akhlak): 83.91 (very satisfactory), and Islamic Law (Fiqh): 78.71 (satisfactory). Even by number, the 11th Grade MA PAI books can be deemed quite good with “satisfactory” and “very satisfactory” satisfaction level, however, there are things that need to be evaluated for improvement. This is indicated by inputs and notes of the users to the content of the books. Among the users’ notes on the books in general are; simplification of language and several materials, adjustment of figures, transliteration, references of verses/hadeeths, SKI materials that are too brief, and inclusion of supporting reading source references. 0px; "> Buku PAI madrasah Aliyah kurikulum 2013 belum dilakukan evaluasi dari sisi pengguna (siswa dan guru). Penelitian ini lebih memfokuskan pada aspek isi, meskipun demikian terdapat pula temuan berupa masukan dari pengguna dalamhal penyajian, bahasa, dan kegrafikaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode analisis isi Krippendorf serta CsI (customer satisfaction indeks)/analisis kepuasan pelanggan, didapatkan temuan bahwa hasil penilaian para pengguna buku PAI mA kelas XI di 5 mA di Kab. gunungkidul menunjukkan nilai rata-rata mapel PAI mA kelas XI (dengan skala 1-5) yang terendah adalah mapel sKI: 3.68 dan yang tertinggi adalah mapel Al-Quran dan al-Hadis: 4.21, sedangkannilai kedua mapel lainnya Akidah Akhlak 4.20 dan Fikih: 3.94. Hasil yang sama ditunjukkan dalam penghitungan dengan rumus CsI, bahwa nilai/kriteria kepuasan (dengan skala 1-100) yang terendah adalah mapel sKI dan yang tertinggi mapel al-Quran Hadis. Perincian nilai kepuasan pengguna buku sebagai berikut; al-Quran Hadis: 84.13 (sangat puas), sejarah Kebudayaan Islam: 73.68 (puas), Akidah Akhlak: 83.91 (sangat puas), dan Fikih: 78.71 (puas). meskipun dalam angka, buku PAI mA kelas XI dapat dinilai sudah baik dengan tingkat nilai kepuasan ‘puas’ dan ‘sangat puas’, tetapi terdapat beberapa hal yang perlu dievaluasi sebagai perbaikan. Hal ini tampak dalam hasil temuan masukan dan catatan para pengguna terhadap isi buku. Di antara catatan pengguna terhadap buku secara umum adalah; penyederhanaan bahasa dan beberapa materi, penyesuaian gambar, transliterasi, rujukan ayat/hadis, materi sKI yang terlalu ringkas, dan pencantuman referensi sumber bacaanpenunjang.

Abstract

A preminent class is a class consisting of selectedstudents based on strict requirements which are academic potency, IQ and highly sufficient student creativity. MTsN 2 of Bandar Lampung has held the preminent class program. The research is aimed at finding out implementation of the Preeminent class program at MTsN 2 of Bandar Lampung by using the qualitative method. The research shows that: a) The implementation of the preeminent class program can improve Islamic schools’ image, b) Supporting factors of the implementation of the preminent class program are establishment of cooperation network between curriculum development team of MTsN 2 of Bandar Lampung and MGMP, availability of competent teachers, a proactive role of Islamic school committee in facilitating the implementation of the preeminent class program, c) Backstop factors are non-maximum students’ readiness in following the preminent class learning process, some of the students have not actively used English, lack of reward from the headmaster on performance of the students teaching the preeminent class, some of the teachers have not used multimedia facilities to their maximum extent, d) The Ministry of Religion shall notice the need of facilities and infrastructures for Islamic schools organizing preminent class program, and the need of teachers’ professionalism by holding workshops, seminars and work trainings.Kelas unggulan merupakan kelas yang berisi siswa pilihan yang diseleksi berdasarkan syaratsyarat yang ketat yaitu potensi akademik, IQ dan kreatitifitas siswa yang sangat memadai. MTsN 2 Bandar Lampung telah menyelenggarakan program kelas unggulan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan program kelas unggulan di mtsN 2 Bandar Lampung dengan menggunakan metode kualitatip. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: a) penyelenggaraan program kelas unggulan dapat meningkatkan citra madrasah, b) faktor pendukung pelaksanaan program unggulan adalah terbentuknya jaringan kerjasama tim pengembang kurukulum MTSN 2 Bandar Lampung dengan mgmP, tersedianya guruguru yang berkompeten, peranan komite madrasah yang proaktif dalam memfasilitasi pelaksanaan program kelas unggulan, c) faktor penghambatnya adalah kesiapan siswa yang belum maksimal dalam mengikuti pembelajaran kelas unggulan, sebagian siswa belum aktif berbahasa Inggris, kurangnya reward dari kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru yang mengajar kelas unggulan, sebagian guru belum maksimal menggunakan sarana multimedia, d) Kementerian Agama perlu memperhatikan kebutuhan sarana prasarana pada madrasah yang menyelenggarakan program kelas unggulan, dan perlunya peningkatan profesionalisme guru melalui penyelenggraan workshop, seminar dan lokakarya.

Abstract

This research is aimed at determining how Islamic Religious Education (PAI) with preeminence at SMAN 2 of Serang, Banten. This Islamic Religious Education best practice uses descriptive – qualitative method. This research shows that SMAN 2 of Serang, Banten has preminent Islamic Religious Education practice. It means that PAI learning process at SMAN 2 of Serang has successfully changed the students’ religious attitude and behavior. This preeminence can be seen from innovations developed in PAI learning such as PAI curriculum innovation, PAI learning practice innovation, and IT use in learning PAI. There are many factors supporting PAI learning at SMAN 2 of serang such as extra-curriculum activities (Islamic Spirituality Organization / Kerohanian Islam), zikir Akbar, religious activities and religigious culture, etc. Islamic Religious Education preeminence at this school is also supported by various factors such as the headmaster’s policy, school management, cooperation with any other institutions, school environment, and also various facilities and infrastructures of PAI learning. However, there are various factors hampering the success of PAI such as incompleteness of facilities and infrastructures of PAI Lab, number of PAI teachers with respect to ratio of teachers to students, and the lack of training for teachers. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penyelenggaraan Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) berkeunggulan di SMAN 2 Serang Banten. Penelitian best practice Pendidikan Agama Islam ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SMAN 2 SERANG Banten memiliki praktek Pendidikan Agama Islam yang unggul. Artinya praktek pembelajaran PAI di SMAN 2 Serang berhasil mengubah sikap dan perilaku keagamaan siswa. Keunggulan ini bisa dilihat dari berbagai inovasi yang dikembangkan dalam pembelajaran PAI seperti inovasi kurikulum PAI, inovasi praktek pembelajaran PAI, dan penggunaan IT dalam pembelajaran PAI. Banyak faktor yang mendukung keberhasilan pembelajaran PAI di SMAN 2 Serang seperti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler (Kerohanian Islam), zikir Akbar, kegiatan keagamaan dan religigious culture, dan sebagainya. Keunggulan Pendidikan Agama Islam di sekolah ini juga didukung oleh berbagai faktor seperti kebijakan kepala sekolah, managemen sekolah, kerjasama dengan lembaga lain, lingkungan sekolah, dan juga berbagai sarana prasarana pembelajaran PAI. Namun demikian masih ada beberapa faktor yang menghambat keberhasilan PAI seperti masalah kelengkapan sarana prasarana terutama kelengkapan laboratorium PAI, jumlah guru PAI terkait dengan rasio guru – siswa, dan kurangnya pelatihan guru.

Abstract

This writing is a result of research onReligious Education in Family performed in 16 Districts in Banten Province, West Java, Central Java, DI Yogyakarta and East Java. The research respondents are Moslem families, residing at housing complex and having children not older than 16 years old. The sampling is performed by Non-Random Sampling technique. The research method uses quantitative approach, with a purpose to obtain data related to Islamic religious education in family within community. The research questionnaires are filled out by Family Heads or the Mothers of the families. This research more focuses on role of the parents themselves in religious education, and its relation to economic condition, education and age of the respondents. Basic conclusion obtained from this research is parents who have significant role in educating their children. The conclusion refuses or denies a statement that youth and child delinquency is occurred due to religious education in family which has not been conducted completely. Among other conclusions that older parents who have a better strategy in religion education if compared to younger parents regardless their economic background. However, the parents with a high level economic background are still better than parents with a low level economic background.tulisan ini merupakan hasil penelitian tentang Pendidikan Agama pada Keluarga di 16 Kabupaten di wilayah Propinsi Banten, Jawa Barat, Jawa tengah, DI yogyakarta dan Jawa timur. Responden penelitiannya keluarga muslim, yang bermukim di komplek perumahan dan memiliki anak maksimal berusia 16 tahun. sampel penelitian, dilakukan dengan teknik Non Random sampling. metode penelitian bersifat kualitatif, dengan tujuan untuk memperoleh data terkait dengan pendidikan agama Islam pada keluarga dalam masyarakat. Kuesioner penelitian diisi oleh Kepala Keluarga atau Ibu dari keluarga tersebut. Penelitian ini lebih difokuskan pada peran orang tua itu sendiri dalam pendidikan agama, dan dalam hubungannya dengan kondisi ekonomi, pendidikan dan usia responden. Kesimpulan mendasar yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini bahwa, orang tua memiliki peran yang tinggi dalam mendidik anak-anaknya. Ini berarti menggugurkan atau menolak pernyataan bahwa, kenakalan remaja dan anak yang terjadi disebabkan karena peran pendidikan agama dalam kelurga belum sepenuhnya dilakukan. Di antara kesimpulan lainya yaitu bahwa, orang tua dengan usia tua memiliki strategi yang lebih baik dalam pendidikan agama, dibanding dengan orang tua yang usianya masih muda dengan latar belakang ekonomi apapun dari orang tua tersebut. Demikian juga orang tua yang berlatar belakang ekonomi tinggi tetap lebih baik dari orang tua yang latar belakang ekonominya rendah.
