Abstract

The development of multi-level marketing company has been very much influenced by the performance of the Independent Business Owners (IBO) in forming the network to market their product. The problems settled in this study were adaptive selling, and smart-working orientation had direct influence on the performance of IBO business through marketing strategy creativity in multi-level marketing of PT ORIFLAME Indonesia in Medan. The purpose of this descriptive quantitative study was to find out and analyze adaptive selling, and smart-working orientation had direct influence on the performance of IBO business through marketing strategy creativity in multi-level marketing of PT ORIFLAME Indonesia in Medan by busing the theory of Marketing Management related to organizational committment, adaptive selling, smart-working orientation and working relationship satisfaction, marketing strategy creativity, and performance. The population of this study was 500 IBO of PT ORIFLAME Indonesia level 9% to 21% who were active in the working area of Medan from january to December 2014 and 100 of them were selected to be the samples for this study. The data for this study were obtained through interviews, questionnaire distribution, and documentation study. The data obtained were analyzed through Path Analysis consisting of direct and indirect influence analysis. The result of this study showed that Adaptive Selling, and Smart-Working Orientation had positive to influence Marketing Strategy Creativity, and Business Performance

Abstract

The problem of the research were how the influencing of service quality on student’s satisfaction and to identify how the influencing of student’s satisfaction on student’s loyalty in Faculty Economy of Medan Area University. The method of data collection were interview, questionare and study of documentation. The model of data analysis used are multiple linear regression analysis and simple linear regression analysis. The determination of sample using  Slovin formula and the writer used the accidental sampling, the total samples were 95 people.The result of this research were service quality which consists of tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy worked together to gave significant contribute of service. The result of second hypothesis through t test shows that student’s satisfaction significantly influence student’s loyalty.

Abstract

Qualified human resources is a dominant factor for the implementation of good governance, one of which comes from the presence of the Civil Service of the highest integrity. In an effort to improve the integrity of the civil servants , the government has taken various steps which are perfect the system of rewards and punishment . The application of this system is reflected through various instruments such as the provision of benefits ( rewards ) and sanctions (punishment ) . Effective implementation of reward and punishment system is influenced by employee perceptions of the implementation of the system . The main impact is expected from the implementation of reward and punishment system is the formation of employee integrity in performing their duties.Formulation of the problem in this study is whether the employee s perception of the reward and punishment system is significantly related to the integrity of Sumatra Tarukim Service employee in performing their duties. This study aims to determine the relationship of perception of the civil service system of rewards and punishment to the integrity of Sumatra Tarukim Service employee in performing their duties. This research was conducted at the Department of Spatial Planning and Settlement of North Sumatra Province with a sample of 85 employees . Data were collected through questionnaires .Methods of data analysis performed by linear analysis with the help of SPSS software version 18. The analysis showed that the perception of reward and punishment system and the positive effect that was significant to the integrity of the officials in the Department of Spatial Planning and Settlement of North Sumatra Province

Abstract

This research aims does emotional intelligence affect work ethos .The population in this research are 44 employees at PT. Bussan Auto Finance Medan. While the samples submitted is 44 employees at PT. Bussan Auto Finance Medan. To discuss the problems it is done data collection library and field research. The results Data collection was done by analysis statistical methods using data processing via SPSS. It’s found that the determination coefficient R square 0,118 which in this case, 11.8% of the companys work ethic can be explained by variables emotional intelligence. While the rest explained by the other reasons. This means that approximately 11.56% of variable Y is the work ethic can be explained by X in this case emotional intelligence. So 88.44% is not examined. Company should conduct an evaluation and replacement of the order of intelligence the emotional well-working tools and appropriate spatial planning work with the development of technology jobs such as the use of tools workshop were replaced with new ones. In addition to evaluating tools office work, the company should also make improvements to human resources company by way of education and training in accordance with the new technology so they can use it effectively.Keywords: Emotional Intelligence, Work Ethos

Abstract

This research show about the use of internet as learning media to improving teaching competence at universities in Kota Medan. It is expains how the internet can be used as learning media on teaching and learning process when the class activities begin and improve teaching competence. The benefit of this research is expected to improve lecturers teaching competence based on the theoretical study of information technology-based learning media by internet-based website used at universities in Kota Medan. This research is descriptive qualitative where it will reveal facts and circumstances that occur at the time of lecturing activities conducted lecturer subjects in the faculty of economics at the universities in Kota Medan. The population of this research consists of three universities in Kota Medan consist of Univesitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara, Universitas Negeri Medan and Universitas Harapan Medan with the object of research is the lecturer from the college which the population of 80 lecturers from 100 questionnaires that have been distributed. Based on the pedagogical results of the questionnaire of the teacher respondents, it was found that 83% of the teachers gave the teaching with good pedagogic results, while the competence for teachers for internet use as a learning media found that only 63% of 80 respondents who internet used as learning media.Keywords : Learning Media, Internet, Website, E-Learning.

Abstract

In the now era, there are various kinds of businesses. Especially the culinary business like a restaurant. The restaurant business in Siantar becomes is increasing and very competitive. Therefore, product does not become the priority for a company but consumers.. The objective of the research was to find out and analyze the influence of experiential marketing which consisted of sense, feel, think, act, and relate toward repurchase intention. The research used descriptive quantitative with explanatory research method. The population was the customers of Rumah Makan Beringin Indah which had visited it at least twice in the last 2 months. The samples were taken by using purposive sampling technique. The data were gathered by conducting interviews, questionnaires, and documentary study and analyzed by using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the research showed that experiential marketing which consisted of sense, feel,think, act, and relate had a significant influence on the repurchase intention at Rumah Makan Beringin Indah.   Keywords: Experiential Marketing, Repurchase Intention.

Abstract

The authors are interested in conducting research with the title role of public relations in building the image of the company at PT Pegadaian (Persero) Kanwil I Medan. The researcher used quantitative methods. The results of research that the author achieve on PT Pegadaian (Persero) Kanwil I Medan is to have a PR section that plays an important role in building corporate image with the average value sorted from the highest data IE facilitator indicators of troubleshooting process (3.33), communication facilitators (3.29), expert advisor (3.28), communication technician (3.27). So the authors advice to the company is to continue to improve the positive corporate image by building a better communication with internal and external parties of the company and should further improve the communication technician by making the product or communication activities become more effective.Keywords: Public Relations, Corporate Image, PT Pegadaian

Abstract

The objective of the research was to analyze the influence of the factors of capital adequacy ratio, third-party funds, non perfoming loan, operating expense and operating revenue and loan to deposit ratio simultaneously and partially on the financial performance. The population was 41 conventional bank listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2010 to 2014, and 20 were used as the samples, using purposive sampling technique. The data were processed by using multiple linear regression tests with an SPSS software program. The result of the research showed that capital adequacy ratio, third-party funds, non perfoming loan, operating expense and operating revenue and loan to deposit ratio simultaneously on the financial performance. Partially, capital adequacy ratio had positive and significant influence on the financial performance, operating expense and operating revenue had negative and significant influence on the financial performance while third-party funds, non perfoming loan and loan to deposit ratio did not have any significant influence.Keywords: capital adequacy ratio, third-party funds, non perfoming loan, operating expense and operating revenue, loan to deposit ratio, financial performance

Abstract

The objective of this research is to measure the influence of tax service quality and tax sanctions to taxpayer compliance in Tax Service office (KPP) Pratama Medan Belawan. This research using survey method for approachment. The nature and type of this research are to explain and quantitative descriptive. The sample of this research are 100 tax payer in KPP Pratama Medan Belawan using simple random sampling. This research was using questionnaire for data collection method. The questionnaire was given to any tax payer randomly. The result of this research which has passed through validity test, reliability test and classic assumption test were processed and resulting the following regression equation, Y = 0.351 X1 + 0.343 X2 + e. The result of multiple regression shows that tax service quality and tax sanctions has a postive influence to taxpayer compliance in KPP Pratama Medan Belawan. The value of determination coefficient (R²) was 0.579. It means 57.9% taxpayer were affected by tax service quality and tax sanctions, 40.1% taxpayer compliance can be were affected by the variable outside the two variable.Keywords: Tax service quality, tax sanction, taxpayer compliance

Abstract

Each firm transportation service providers must act quickly and precisely as a consequence of the internal and external environment changes that occur in the orientation to provide the best service to customers. Companies in the operations must always observe the changes in consumer behavior in order to anticipate changes in the behavior, then reduced to the study in order to improve their marketing strategies.The problem of this research is “whether service quality effect on passenger satisfaction of public transport services route 120 at PT. Rahayu Medan Ceria Medan, whether the pricing strategy of passenger satisfaction influence on public transport services route 120 at PT. Rahayu Medan Ceria Medan and whether the quality of service and pricing strategies simultaneously affect the satisfaction of the public passenger transport services on the route 120 PT. Rahayu Medan Ceria Medan.After collecting data on the samples filed, as well as data analysis, it is known that from the research that has been described in previous chapters, it can be concluded that the quality of service and pricing strategy has simultaneous effect on passenger satisfaction public transportation services route 120 at PT. Rahayu Medan Ceria Medan. In other words, the variability of passenger satisfaction which can be explained by using the variable quality of service and pricing strategy. Based on this it can be concluded that the quality of service and pricing strategy implemented in public transport services route 120 at PT. Rahayu Medan Ceria Medan has been running well and is able to give effect to passenger satisfaction. Quality of service has an influence on passenger satisfaction employees of public transport services route 120 at PT. Rahayu Medan Ceria Medan.
