Abstract

AbstractDatabase design is one step in making data processing applications both desktop and web-based applications. There are several techniques that can be used to design a database, one of them with Entity Relationship Diagram techniques. It’s one of the techniques taught in the course of Database Design. In fact, many students who have difficulty in designing a database with this technique. The use of appropriate learning techniques to optimize learning of database actively, attractive and effective is needed. The method used in the learning process is problem-based learning methode. So, the authors conducted a study to examine how the use of Problem Based Learning as an effective method of learning the technique of designing a database with Entity Relationship Diagram. It’s descriptive research, and used the Pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design. This study used a class as an experimental class. This research method describes the influence of problem-based learning model in the ability to design database with Entity Relationship Diagram in Information Management students at AMIK BSI Karawang. The research sample is taken from class 12.2D.15 and 20 students were taken as sample for testing and research. The hypothesis with ’t’ test showed that designing a database with Entity Relationship Diagram technique using problem based learning show better results than without using it. This shows that the implentation of problem-based learning in learning database design with Entity Relationship Diagram technique has a significant effect on the ability of students in designing database.  Keywords: Problem Based Learning, database, Entity Relationship Diagram

Abstract

Abstract KPRI public vocational secondary schools 15 of Bandung "Rikrik Gemi" is one of the cooperatives engaged in savings and loans, with financial management that still use conventional system with using books and Microsoft Excel. This method is less effective due to savings and loan transactions that occur higher so the calculation is also growing. Especially with many members who apply for a loan, where it takes a long time to validate loan application process. The Methods of information system design savings and loans are made using waterfall methodology and use two UML diagram consisting of use case diagrams and activity diagrams. Implementation and manufacture of web-based systems with structured programming techniques using the programming language PHP and MySQL database. This information systems saving based website could provide an alternative rapid and accurate in data access savings and loans to facilitate and assist performance management and also to improve the performance of the current system to be computerized well. Abstract

                                             Abstract Institutions of education as one of the service agencies workshops, seminars and training with information systems that are still manual at the time of printing id cards, the manufacture of attendance, printing certificates and report generation often had difficulty in searching data and other impacts arising from manual systems. Therefore the design of information systems or desktop based application creation is a solution to provide convenience to the user in the process of data processing, data retrieval to preparing reports. Model systems development workshops, seminars and training used in the design of information systems workshops, seminars and training using a model of Agile Software Development, which was discovered and developed by Robert Cecil Martin with process models Global Extreme Programming, namely the development of XP (Extreme Programming) Life Cycle. While the tools used by the UML (Unifed Modeling Language) and ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram). Hopefully, by the design of this system will allow a user who uses the id card printing, manufacture of attendance, certificate printing and reporting each end of the activity.

Abstract

Abstract – Cervical cancer was the most dangerous disease and generally attacks women. Early detection through Pap Smear method was one way to prevent the desease to grow in womans cervival canal. Based on the result of Pap Smear methode, the single cell of data that known as herlev data is available. This data, then used as a reference by the experts to find the best level classification from each class of cervical cancer. The decision tree C4.5 and Naïve Bayes have proven to give the best result on 280 data trial of herlev with support by Correlation based Features Selection (CFS) optimization method. The issues raised in the present study was does CFS optimization methode that combined with the classification method of C4.5 and Naïve Bayes can provide increased the accuracy results when it faced the 917 data of herlev. The results of this study show that CFS method that combined either with C4.5 methods and naïve bayes classification accuracy was decrease when compared without using CFS method. In terms of showing that CFS can not provide the best result when if confronted with big data.Keywords : optimization, classification, single cell of Pap Smear, Correlation based Features Selection, C4.5, Naïve Bayes Abstrak – Kanker serviks merupakan penyakit yang sangat berbahaya dan pada umumnya menyerang kaum wanita. Deteksi sejak dini melalui metode Pap Smear merupakan salah satu cara untuk mencegah penyakit ini berkembang didalam saluran serviks wanita. Berdasarkan hasil dari metode Pap Smear, didapatkanlah data sel tunggal yang kini dikenal dengan data herlev. Data ini, kemudian dijadikan acuan dalam penelitian oleh para ahli dewasa ini untuk menemukan tingkat klasifikasi terbaik dari masing-masing kelas kanker serviks. Metode Decision tree C4.5 dan Naïve Bayes terbukti memberikan hasil yang terbaik pada ujicoba data herlev sebanyak 280 data dengan dukungan dari metode optimasi Correlation based Features Selection(CFS). Permasalahan yang diangkat pada penelitian kali ini adalah apakah metode optimasi CFS yang dikombinasikan dengan metode klasifikasi C4.5 dan Naïve Bayes akan memberikan hasil akurasi yang meningkat ketika digunakan keseluruhan data herlev sebesar 917 data. Hasil dari penelitian kali ini menunjukkan bahwa metode CFS yang dikombinasikan baik dengan metode C4.5 maupun Naïve Bayes menunjukkan penurunan hasil akurasi jika dibandingkan dengan tanpa menggunakan metode CFS. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa metode optimasi CFS tidak dapat memberikan hasil terbaik jika dihadapkan kepada data yang berjumlah besar. Kata kunci : optimasi, klasifikasi, sel tunggal Pap Smear, Correlation based Features Selection,  C4.5, Naïve Bayes.

Abstract

AbstractSatisfaction in work is an individual thing. Each individual will have a level of satisfaction varies according to the system of values prevailing in him. This study was conducted to determine the level of employee satisfaction with the services in the information systems unit PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) in order to get results that can make service information systems unit to be better again. Based on the analysis of Multiple Linear Regression method Technology Acceptance Model , obtained the result that the employees satisfied with the usability factor ( Perceived Usefulness ) the variable Perceived Usefulness and Perceived Ease of Use influencing variable Attitude Toward Using With his existing results of scientific research , the expected improvement in the quality of services provided to the employee information systems unit. Keywords: Employee Satisfaction, Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Attitude Toward Using.

Abstract

ABSTRAKThe main problem in the process sentiment analysis review is how to choose and use the best feature selection to get the maximal result. The accuracy of the use of algorithm in analysis sentiment review also have been an important role in the determination results of the analysis. Analysis of the sentiment is a study computing on an opinion, behavior and emotion of a person to an entity. This research also discussed comparative studies, technique classification and combining method of the feature selection to comparsion result of the people opinion about tourist destination. The classifications technique to analyze sentiment review of the tourist destinations, using support vector machine algorithm (svm) and a model of the features selection will be compared between a particle swarm optimization and genetic algorithm to increase the accuracy classifications of support vector machines algorithm. The measurement of were based on accuracy support vector machines before and after the addition of features. The evaluation uses 10 cross fold validation. While the measurement of accuracy measured by confusion the matrix and a curve roc. The result showed an increase in accuracy support vector machines of 75.33 % to 88.67 %. Keywords: Sentimen Review, Support Vector Machine, Analysis Review, Feature Selection.

Abstract

Abstract Everyone can interact with the others through a language. Indonesia is known as a country that has a lot of cultural diversity, one of the diversity is different languages in each region. Bugis language is one of the local language in Indonesia for Makassar typical society. At this time this language is reduced using. Even many Bugis’s people do not understand their own language. Those who live in the neighborhood instead of the original population of bugis tribe who were never taught the language of their origin region. One of the reason is lack of learning media for Bugis language so make peoples are lazy to learn it. Through the application of Indonesian - Bugis dictionary translation using web technology, every person can easily learning the language of Bugis. In addition to enabling users, a dictionary application created purpose to preserve one of Indonesias cultural diversity which is the local language and that’s not to become extinct. This translation dictionary application is using Sequential Search algorithm (search in a row) for the word search processing. This search method is suitable use for an Indonesian - Bugis dictionary application because it can translate quickly search terms. Abstract

AbstractCancer is a desaeas with a high prevalence in the world. As many 8,2 million people died of cancer. The prevalence of cancer was happened in woman that is breast cancer. Breast cancer is a malignancy derived from grandular cells, gland duct and supporting the breast tissues. There are many ways of detecting the presence of breast cancer which one is mammography test that aims to examine the human breast using low-dose X-rays. Observation mammography results in the form of mammogram images can be done with image processing, in this way the process of observation is not take a long time and error in the observation can be reduced. One of the process image processing is image segmentation, the step of image segmentation is an important in image analysis there force is needed method in process of image sementation. This observation is aims to analyze comparison of two image segmentation methods of mammogram images that is using Watershed method and Otsu method after that it will see the quality of image by calculating the signal to noise ratio and timing run of each method. The result of this observation is showed that the signal to noise ratio on the Watershed method 7,475 dB and Otsu method 6.197 dB and the conclution is Watershed method is better than Otsu method, whereas if viewed the timing run Watershed method 0,016 seconds is more faster than Otsu method.

Abstract

                                                         ABSTRACTA promotional team are doing promotions to schools in determining travel routes are still having trouble of having to find the shortest distance of the school will be visited. In the resolution of an efficient service, required a system with a method that can help in determining the fastest route. Method of comparison is a genetic algorithm and greedy algorithm for the genetic algorithm is a method by using variable speed in every way that affects travel time each way and take advantage of the natural selection process that is known as an evolutionary process, this process has the function of crossover, mutation and individual improvement, using processes are largely carried out randomly then produced the best solution in the process of finding the fastest route. Has made the application of genetic algorithm and greedy algorithm for determining the shortest route compose a promotional trip PMB AMIK BSI Tasikmalaya which generates the most optimal route. Has made a comparison between the genetic algorithm and greedy algorithm in the most optimal route search The comparison showed that the genetic algorithm is an algorithm that is more appropriate to determine the route of travel promotion than the greedy algorithm..Keywords: genetic algorithm, greedy algorithm, shortest path

Abstract

Abstract Bina Marga and Irrigation Bandung Department was one of the government agencies in the field of public works, which place the development of infrastructure, including field bina marga and water resources became one of the development priority for managing Bandung. The roadwork was committed because there were road damage. Handling roadwork often had problems and needed handling priority of roadwork. The method used for roadwork priority, namely Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. By the decision support system to determine the priority of roadwork using AHP could help to assess the priority and make the right decisions with better judgment. Based on the results of this study concluded that the presence of decision support systems in the form of a website, it could be overcome delay in processing, faster and easier in determine priority of roadwork, processing and storage of data were integrated by database.
