With a quantitative descriptive research approach the type of correlation is from mothers who have careers and participate in religious activities or not. This study looked at whether there were differences in moral religious behavior of children from both parents' backgrounds. The results showed that there were differences in the moral behavior of children's religion seen from the results of the Mann Whitney t test obtained by the results of sig. equal to 0,000 or <probability value that is 0.05. The effect of caregiving is proven on the behavior of children of mothers who attend religious activities that are more controlled than children of mothers who do not attend religious activities. Children tend not to be temperament, able to resist emotions, help each other, easily forgive and get used to pray before and after doing activities. This finding proves that nurturing the role of mother in the home environment is very influential despite being busy with her work

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of the academic press and student teacher relations on emotional adjustment in children aged 7-8 years. This study used a survey method with 132 respondents in East Jakarta, selected using stratified multistage cluster random sampling. Data collection uses three research instruments in the form of scales 1-3 which is adapted and developed from research indicators using student academic survey press with reliability values (α = .465), short version Student Teacher Relationship Scale (α = .599), and School Liking and Avoidance Questionnaire (α = .715). The results showed that 1) academic press did not had a direct negative effect on emotional adjustment, 2) teacher-student relations had a direct positive effect on emotional adjustment, and 3) academic press and teacher relations simultaneously had a positive effect on emotional adjustment which explained indirect effect of the academic press on emotional adjustment through student teacher relations as a mediator. This indirect influence illustrates that in a state of high positive relations, the academic press's role that the teacher seeks is understood by students as a way for teachers to improve achievement and emotional adjustment. In addition, the positive effect was increasing greater when academic press related together with the teacher-student relationship compared to the partial effect of student relations on emotional adjustment. This greater effect requires a ranking of the partial correlation of the teacher-student relation which is above or greater than the ranking of the partial academic press only.

Abstract

A comprehensive game based learning model was developed by combining constructive, educational and traditional games. The implementation of this model is integrated in integrated learning strategies and is designed in such a way that it can be applied in kindergarten (TK). The game tools used are developed with the concepts contained in cognitive abilities, such as: color, shape, numbers, letters, sequences and classifications. The implementation strategy is structured in accordance with the concept. Implementation trials were carried out formatively in small groups and large groups conducted in July-September 2015 at TK Fithria in South Jakarta, Indonesia. Subjects in small group trials were teachers and children in group B. The results showed an increase in cognitive abilities of kindergarten children in group B after the application of comprehensive game-based learning. This model is an alternative learning that can be applied in the center and group and classical models. Although it can help stimulate children's abilities, the role of the teacher as a learning facilitator cannot be replaced with any media.
