Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk  menghasilkan LKS berbasis pendekatan open-ended pada materi pecahan kelas VII SMP yang valid dan praktis serta untuk mengetahui efek potensial dari LKS berbasis pendekatan open-ended terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMP kelas VII. Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana mengembangkan LKS berbasis pendekatan open-ended pada materi pecahan kelas VII SMP yang valid dan praktis? Bagaimana mengembangkan LKS berbasis pendekatan open-ended pada materi pecahan kelas VII SMP yang valid dan praktis ? Pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran lembar kegiatan siswa (LKS) pembelajaran ini dilakukan mengikuti  dua tahap utama yaitu tahap preliminary (tahap persiapan) serta tahap formative evaluation. Berdasarkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII3 yang dilakukakan secara individu diperoleh rata-rata 90,78 termasuk kategori baik. Sedangkan berdasarkan hasil tes kemampuan akhir siswa diperoleh bahan ajar yang memiliki efek potensial.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to improve the discipline and  learning outcomes in mathematics of students of class VII A SMP N I Kretek using learning type Numbered Head Together. The subjects of this research was students of class VII A SMP N I Kretek  totaling 26 students. The object of this research was discipline and mathematic learning outcomes. The results showed that after application of cooperative learning model to Numbered Head Together, discipline and learning Mathematics has increased. This is indicated by an increase in the average yield percentage discipline of each students learning cycle, namely the pre-cycle percentage discipline of 73,31%, in the first cycle of 79,08% and 87,37% for the second cycle. In addition the average mathematics student learning outcomes is increased in pre-cycle for 66,73 increased to 74,36 in the first cycle and second cycle becomes 79,64. As for mastery learning increased from pre-cycle by 57,70% to 61,54% in the first cycle and became 80,77% in the second cycle. Given the cooperative learning model Numbered Head Together can increase discipline and Mathematics student learning outcomes, teachers are expected to implement the learning model in the learning process.

Abstract

Descriptively, the purpose of this study is to know the tendency of parents attention, learning style and the learning mathematics achievement of the students of VIII Grade of all SMP (Junior High School) in Berbah district on 2013/2014 academic year. Correlatively, the purpose is to determine the relationship between parents attention and learning style with the learning mathematics achievement of the students of VIII Grade of all SMP (Junior High School) in Berbah district on 2013/2014 academic year. The population of this study was all students of VIII Grade of SMP (Junior High School) in Berbah district on 2013/2014 academic year. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling technique. The researcher took and selected 2 classes of SMP N 3 Berbah, 1 class of SMP N 2 Berbah and 1 class of SMP Muhammadiyah Berbah as the sample class with the number of respondens is 110 students. The data analysis is using multiple correlation and multiple regression of two variables. The result of this descriptive study showed that the tendency of parents attention is on the medium category, while the learning stayle is on medium category and the learning mathematics achievement in a high category. From the calculation of multiple correlation test, the value of R = 0,660 and the significant value is 0,000 < 0,05, it means that there is a positive and significant relationship between parents attention and learning style with learning mathematics achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) to determine how the approach TGT cooperative learning model  in  order  to  improve  students  motivation  to  learn  mathematics  X  class  at  SMK Candirejo Borobudur (2) to determine how the approach TGT cooperative learning model in order to improve student achievement in math class X Candirejo SMK Borobudur. Results showed an increase in motivation and student achievement in the learning process.  Increase  in  the  percentage  of  students  motivation  in  pre-cycle  is  42%  with qualifications are, in the  first cycle increased to 65.8% with higher qualifications and the second cycle increased to 73.6% with a higher classification. Percentage of students who meet the KKM also increased in pre-cycle 60% fixed with 60% in the first cycle, and the second cycle increased to 80%. The results could be a mathematics teacher input to increase motivation and mathematics achievement through cooperative Teams Games Tournament (TGT).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to enhance the activity and learning achievement with cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) in class VII MTs Muhammadiyah 2 Muntilan can increase the academic year 2013/2014.The hypothesis of this study is the action in cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) may enhance the activity and learning achievement in class VII MTs Muhammadiyah 2 Muntilan academic year2013/2014. This research is a class action (PTK). Data collection techniques in this study conducted by observation, testing and documentation. The average percentage of students learning activeness of 45.31% in the first cycle increased to 72.92% in the second cycle. Mathematics learning achievement of students has also increased, judging from the average value of59.78inprecycles to67.10at the end of the first cycle, and increased again at the end of the second cycleinto76.91. While the percentage of completeness of students (with KKM70) also increased, namely the pre-action amounted to34.38% increase to46.88% in the first cycle, and increased to81.25% in the second cycle. Given NHT cooperative learning can enhance the activity and learning achievement of students, thus advisable for math teachers can apply Numbered Head Together (NHT).

Abstract

The purposes of this research was to describe the creativity and learning achievement of mathematics in Class VII A SMP Taman Dewasa Ibu Pawiyatan Yogyakarta using Quantum Teaching. This research is Class Action Research (CAR). The technique of data done by observation, questionnaire, and tests. The results of research that the creativity average in pre-cycle 64,75%, in cycle I 71,97% and in cycle II 81%. Then The results of research that learning achievement of mathematics in pre-cycle 20,69%, in cycle I 55,17% and in cycle II 72,41%. The creativity and learning achievement of the KKM showed also increased. Based the results of the research, Quantum Teaching can increase creativity and learning achievement of mathematics. So, teachers can implement Quantum Teaching as a variation of learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this research were to describe cooperative learning process in jigsaw type that increased interest and mathematics achievement of  class VII A’s students in MTs N Maguwoharjo Sleman in academic year 2013/2014. The subject of this research was students of class VII A are in MTs N Maguwoharjo Sleman totaling 32 students. The objects of this research were interests and matematics achievement using the Jigsaw cooperative learning model class VII A of MTs N Maguwoharjo Sleman. The results shows that after Jigsaw cooperative learning is applied, interest and achievement of students has increased. This can be shown by an increasing average value of students learning interest from 58.14 in the pre-action to 72.98 after action. Learning achievement of students is also increased, judging from the average value of 59.18 to 65.26 in at the end of the cycle I, and increased again at the end of the cycle II that is 73.61. While the completeness percentage of students (with KKM 70) is also increased, which are  the pre-action amounted to 40.63% increased to 59.38% in the cycle II. Considering the Jigsaw cooperative learning can increase interest and learning achievement of students, it is recommended that mathematics teachers can apply this learning type.

Abstract

the purpose of this research was to improve student’s activity and mathematics achievement  students of class VII D SMP N 1 Kretek Bantul with cooperative learning Group Investigation (GI) model. This research was Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects in this study were students of class VII D which is 28 students. Techniques of data collection in this research was done by using observation, tests, and documentation. Result of this research showed an increase in student’s activity and mathematics achievement of students in the learning process. This is indicated by an increase in percentage of students liveliness on the first cycle is 48,21% with middle classification, while on the second cycle increased to 70,09% with a high classification. Mathematics achievement also increased in each compared with the student first value. The percentage of students who have KKM also increased the pre-cycle at a 3,57%  increased to 53,57% in the first cycle, the second cycle again increased to 78,57%.

Abstract

The purposeof this researchwastoimprove the activities andlearning yield in mathematic of student of class VII C MTs Darul Qur’an Wonosari withcooperative learning type Jigsaw. Type Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this research was student of class VII C MTs Darul Qur’an Wonosari totaling 20 student. The objectof this research was activities andmathematics learning yield.Techniques of data collection is usingobservation, tests, and documentation. The results after application of Jigsawmodels,activities andmathematics learning yieldhas increased. This is indicated bythe averagepercentage of observation resultof student learning activities bythe first cycle of 54,29%, and75% in the second cycle.Results ofstudents mathematicslearning yieldtest, the average value ofmathematics learning yieldat 65,5 precycle, the first cycleincreased to68,2 andthe second cycleincreased to 75.
