Abstract

This study was conducted in order to understand the form and strategy used by HTI to extend the ideology in the perspective of critical analytical discourse. The method used in this study was critical discourse model of Fairclough by examining the aspect of production, such as form, strategy, argumentation background and used the critical analysis discourse by Roger Fowler, that assume the language as social practice. The discourse that was used as the object of this study was the Al-Islam bulletin available in many mosques every Friday from year 2011 through 2012, limited only for ideology related discourse. The research findings showed that the form of ideology intended to be implanted by HTI in endeavor discourse were politic and democracy ideology, economic and social ideology, and religious ideology. The strategies used by HTI reconstructing discourse are the vocabulary choice such as words classification, meaning relation and metaphor; the structure of discourse; confirmation of arguments and form with conclusion. There was an ideology used in reproduction of HTI discourse, such as al-Qur’an, prophet sunnah, and Islam short live.

Abstract

Competition is tight in the capture of new students, demanding STAIN Parepare to be able to capture the desired expectations of prospective students. Moreover, it is common knowledge if STAIN still not be a top priority by high school students who would go on to college. Therefore, researcher are interested to see the perception of high school students in Parepare about STAIN Parepare. This research is expected to provide for the STAIN Parepare enter in an effort to increase the number of students. This type of research was a research survey, the number of 216 respondents spread across several at Senior High School in the margin of error of 5%. Cluster sampling technique is random sampling or random system, where the sampling is done by dividing the population based group or cluster area, which is the base School and Education Program (Science and Social Studies). Research using questionnaire instruments and data analysis with quantitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the study the majority of the City Parepare SMA (63.47%) still do not know of many STAIN Parepare and 53.11% of high school students consider majors STAIN Parepare only open religion studies, 26.76% of high school students in Parepare never read advertisements / news STAIN Parepare in the local newspaper, Pare Pos, 20% of students see STAIN Parepare appeared on CTV Pare, 14.44%, continuing college students who are interested in Parepare STAIN. 36.53% Students of Parepare think STAIN Parepare as favorite college Parepare. Prodi / computer science an option that has been chosen by high school students in Parepare (34.78%). Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris (PBI) is still a favorite choice options (48.13%).

Abstract

This article analyzed empirically about education character that was applied and developed by success family toward children education, the education that concern on social modal development. Family has function to lay the strong basics about social modal values that are needed by the children. When all of the elements of characters are absorbed by the children, then it becomes integral part in personality reconstruction, basically is the interaction result from system and behavior patterns that practiced by the parents. Family education basic determined the child succeed, depended on behavior patterns and interaction that developed by the parents. Family which has strong behavior patterns created the religious climate is the family that can make a role in an optimal fashion in developing the education of social modal oriented. While the family which is developed liberal behavior patterns, authoritative and ignored the religious climate, showed the low indication of role and function towards social modal development.

Abstract

RausyanFikr Institute is an agency of the study and publication of the book lies in Kaliurang Yogyakarta. The institute focuses on the study of philosophy and Islamic thought. Study participants were students from various regions in Indonesia. In this study, the authors focused on building the Islamic epistemology through the book “Our Philosophy” by Baqir Sadr, an Iraqi cleric concerned about world issues and an architect revolutionary thinking. This book thoroughly dissected in RausyanFikr Institute and has been a curriculum epistemology at the agency. The author will show the opinion epistemology Baqir Sadr to view some Western thinkers such as Plato, Descartes, Immanuel Kant, and John Locke. He himself offered his thoughts as he constructions as “disposesion” (nazhariyah intiz’ā).

Abstract

Model pembelajaran koperatif bertujuan memotivasi mahasiswa dari sisi kerja samanya dalam menciptakan situasi dimana keberhasilan individu yang dipengaruhi oleh keberhasilan kelompok dalam mencapai tujuan rumusan pembelajaran. Sangatlah tepat apabila model pembelajatan kooperatif ini diterapkan dalam menunjang pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Penelitian lebih dominan memilih jenis metode penelitian true eksperimental design dengan menggunakan tiga tipe dalam model pembelajaran kooperatif, kemudian menganilisis dan mendeskripsikan hasil temuan di lapangan, selanjutnya menemukan tingkat dominasi dari tiga tipe dalam model pembelajaran kooperatif yang diterapkan. Implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif Prodi Bahasa Arab STAIN Parepare sudah relatif dipergunakan, namun tidak secara prosedural dan sistemik sesuai dengan latar belakang dan tingkat keragaman kemampuan mahasiswa. Tampak adanya pengaruh hasil belajar yang mengalami peningkatan setelah menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif, utamanya pada aspek kecenderungan motivasi dan inovasi mahasiswa untuk mengevaluasi hasil belajarnya, melalui proses dialogi (diskusi) dalam mengetahui benar dan tidaknya, cocok dan tidak cocoknya, serta mapan dan tidak mapannya nilai hasil yang diperoleh dari evaluasi hasil belajar masing,masing. Namun taraf pengembangannya, tentunya diharapkan adanya relevansi dan terjadinya pola kerjasama dalam KBM pada masing-masing mata kuliah serumpun Bahasa Arab.

Abstract

This research is constructed from a descriptive method to describe an aspect of second language acquisition that is systematic errors made by language actors in the speech of second language. The data were collected from picture description tasks and interviews to delineate error categories made by Indonesian learners of English. The results of this study show that grammatical errors are found in the four major errors categories. The most frequent errors occur in verb tense (33.8 %) followed by errors in article usage (17.5%) then errors in using preposition (14.1%) the next, errors produced in verb agreement (13.1%) and then, errors detected in noun ending (6.2%) and the last, errors committed in word order and sentence structure (1.9%).
